Rupanuga Writes More Wrongs (UPDATE)

Thursday, April 28, 2022 Rupanuga's "Satanic Offerings" Plan for ISKCON?

Rupanuga das:

It's All About Qualification, Not Gender or Vox Populi

[PADA: Except Rupanuga was part of the March 1986 "50 man committee" of "Guru Reform" where they established "voting for the guru." Narayan Maharaja was helping Satsvarupa write "The Guru Reform Notebook," and Sridhara Maharaja had said they should vote in gurus -- except -- Srila Prabhupada told Rupanuga to guard his society from these folks and their ideas. Oh oh, Rupanuga's foxes were then guarding the hens. And the hens started to disappear.

Simultaneously, Rupanuga's reformers reinstated their "oral sex with taxi drivers in the dham" messiah -- who was once again annointed as their Vishnupada acharya. And then they voted in many more "gurus" (many of whom later on blooped). And they excommunicated Sulochana, who said -- the reformers painted a bull's eye on my back (and then he was killed a few months later). How does any of this prove they are gurus "by qualification"?]

Rupanuga's "Guru Reform" Manager's Art.
And this is art from a resident of Vaikuntha no less!
Cannot make this up pilgrims!
Let us have women take boatloads of karma
-- so they too can have these visions!

In a conversation with Professor O’Connell on June 18, 1976 in Toronto (Conv. Vol.22, p. 19-20), Srila Prabhupada explains that on the spiritual platform, there is no distinction between classes by “one who is actually learned, he is actually, sama darshina. He does not make any distinction…But as far as our material body is concerned, there must be some distinction for keeping the society in order.” He explained to a lady present, that because of the superficial bodily distinction, women and men may be kept separately, “Otherwise, the rights are the same.”

[PADA: Correct. Thousands of women devotees opposed Rupanuga's post-1978 illicit sex with men, women and children guru parampara -- made by his GBC pals, and most of the women all got rounded up like unwanted cattle and were driven out and booted out of ISKCON. They had no rights at all, and even now a group of ladies are opposing their molester messiahs like Lokanath, and they too are getting boots in face treatment. How is there any fairness to women here?

And what about the numerous women who had to suffer horribly finding out -- Rupanuga's guru pals were orchestrating starving, beating and / or molesting their children? Why wasn't the 50 man committee discussing the state of the children, when they mostly knew about this issue -- because Sulochana was ringing the alarm (and so was I). And so were others.]

Professor O’Connell then asks, “Is it possible, Swamiji, for a woman to be a guru in the line of disciplic succession?” Srila Prabhupada answers, “Yes,” and gives Jahnavi-devi, the wife of Nityananda Prabhu, as an example in the disciplic succession: “If she is able to go to the highest perfection of life, why is it not possible to become guru? But, not so many.”

He goes on to say that any man or woman who is qualified can become guru. Srila Prabhupada asks, “In our material world, is it any prohibition, that woman cannot become professor? If she is qualified, she can become professor. What is the wrong there? She must be qualified. That is the position. So similarly, if the woman understands Krishna consciousness perfectly, she can become guru.”(Ital. mine)

Then, an Indian man asks, “Well, to understand Krishna consciousness, do you not require adhikari?" Srila Prabhupada explains adhikari means one “must agree to understand. That is adhikari. But we do not agree. That is our fault.” The Indian man asks, “Is this agreement due to learning or out of…” “No,” Srila Prabhupada says, “Krishna says, sarva-dharman purityajna mam, you surrender, you become qualified. You agree, ‘Yes, I surrender,’ Krishna says.” So, Srila Prabhupada is saying, in effect, that one must surrender to agreeing to understand, like Arjuna surrendered to agreeing to understand the Gita. Or, similarly, Prof. O’Connell had to agree to understand the appropriate subject matter to become a professor.

[PADA: OK so now there are some folks saying we should vote women into the GBC's illicit sex acharyas club, but why would any sane and moral woman want a guru rubber stamp from and illicit sex guru lineage?]

And, just as there was a measurement of that understanding for Prof. O’Connell to become a professor, Srila Prabhupada had informed his GBC, six months earlier, of his method for measuring the understanding of his disciples’ qualifications needed to attain certain positions in Iskcon, by examining their appropriate working knowledge of Krishna consciousness.

He had already indicated his plans in a letter to Hamsadutta das Adhikari, back in December 3, l968, in which he wrote about a series of examinations, including one entitled --

“Bhaktivedanta.” “One who will pass this examination will be awarded the title of Bhaktivedanta. I want all of my spiritual sons and daughters will inherit this title of Bhaktivedanta, so that the family transcendental diploma will continue through the generations. Those possessing the title of Bhaktivedanta will be allowed to initiate disciples. Maybe by 1975, all of my disciples will be allowed to initiate and increase the numbers of the generations.”

[PADA: This was never implemented, probably because these people just could not make much advancement and Srila Prabhupada decided to cut things back. Instead what happened was, Srila Prabhupada chastised Hansadutta for placing his photos on the ISKCON temple's altars.

Prithu told me that Srila Prabhupada was infuriated by this and he had said "everyone is praying for me to live, while Hansadutta is praying for me to die so he can take my guru seat." Is this the kind of person Rupanuga wanted to see being worshiped in ISKCON after 1978? Yep. This was one of the people Rupanuga claimed is Krishna's successor acharya in 1978.]

In a letter to Kirtananda Maharaj on January 12, 1969, a year later, Srila Prabhupada said, “By 1975, all of those who have passed all of the above examinations will be specifically empowered to initiate and increase the number of the Krishna Consciousness population.” In this letter, Srila Prabhupada mentioned the books he had already translated, or was in the process of translation at that time, 1969, which would be part of the exams.

[PADA: OK so Kirtanananda was having sex with boys in his motorhome and so on, and this was another one of the people Rupanuga said is another Krishna's guru successor. Clearly Kirtanananda had problems, and early devotees like Rupanuga probably knew more about these problems than all the rest of us, because they were together early on.

And Rupanuga knew Srila Prabhupada had severely chastised Kirtanananda, and so on, and he did not say anything in 1978 when Kirtanananda was made the messiah of ISKCON by -- ok people like Rupanuga.]

He included the Vedanta-sutra, which he never had the time to translate. (He later asked the then Swarup Damodar Brahmacari, to write a scientific commentary on that sastra.) There are no gender qualifications mentioned in these letters. In fact, a Bhaktisastri exam was given locally by Srila Prabhupada in 1969, but the exams were reportedly lost in India.

[PADA: So none of this was ever implemented. And what is a bhakti shastri level guru anyway, he is only a shiksha guru and not a full blown diksha guru. He has not qualification to claim to be able to absorb sins like Jesus.]

These letters are reaffirmed and expanded in the detailed and definitive order, entitled “To All Governing Body Commissioners,” dated January 6, 1976, Nellore, South India. Therein, Srila Prabhupada listed all of his works he wanted included sequentially in each exam. This document has no expiration date, and the crystal clarity of this instruction is obvious, leaving no confusing necessity to consult other sampradayas, traditions, sastras, etc.

[PADA: Yes, devotees should pass some shastra tests to become representatives of the acharya (ritviks), just like the priests in the Church need to pass some clerical school to get their priest's credentials. That means the priest is initiating on behalf of Jesus, and he is not claiming to be another Jesus. And that means the Church Council (GBC) should monitor the priests for standards and behaviors. And that is the system Srila Prabhupada established, there will be a GBC, there will be ritvik priests, there will not be phoney acharyas.]

In this instruction, Srila Prabhupada states that, "Factually, there are numerous instances when our sannyasis and brahmins have fallen down, often due to insufficient understanding of the philosophy...The problem is that not all devotees are carefully studying the books..." (See attached PDF file to read the entire written order to the GBC.)

[PADA: OH, right. There are all too "numerous instances" where these big shot Rupanuga class of "senior" devotees of ISKCON have been falling down left, right and center. Clearly not guru material, and barely kanistha material.

Rupanuga knows they have been falling down left, right and center, and then he says -- 11 of these falling down blokes are -- Krishna's successor acharyas? Yep! I know these senior leader guys have a trend and tendency to behave like village drunks and prostitute hunters, but hey I got an idee! Lets declare these barely kanistha level of people are acharyas, so we can orchestrate a program to ban, beat, molest, sue and kill people left right and center! What a plan!]

As for any present controversy, Srila Prabhupada has already clearly stated that he wanted both men and women disciples to take the Bhaktivedanta exam, as seen in the letters above, and that those who passed could initiate disciples. This avoids consideration of men or women.

PADA: Srila Prabhupada never said that us neophytes, never mind us neophytes who are prone to falling down left, right and center, are equals to Jesus and we can initiate people as diksha gurus and absorb their sins. This was never established at any time. Neither does Rupanuga explain that women who absorb sins will also suffer the same results as the men, namely getting sick, falling down, dying prematurely, and going insane like Satsvarupa. ys pd]

  1. JD: The "Guru Reformers" never even asked about the status of the ISKCON children ... or did they? It looks like their main goal was ... to get "voted in" as gurus themselves, and to take down Sulochana ... who was making waves about the child abuses and their crimes.

They were mainly interested in getting in on the guru action, seeing that is where the money, power and glory is. I remember one of them saying, it was the 11's turn ... now it is ours.

Vipramukhya made a presentation ... many people, maybe most people, will leave. But we will replace them. They knew most people will reject them as gurus, so they had to go. They wanted to get rid of Srila Prabhupada's worshipers and replace them with their own worshipers.

And so ... I find it odd Rupanuga would not know that was the whole idea of the reformers, to get rid of more Srila Prabhupada devotees and have people worship the bogus gurus. Or to surrender to Narayan Maharaja, who was emerging then ... as the new advisor.

Even worse, Rupanuga is now agreeing, gurus are ordinary, fallen people who need to be reformed for being debauchees. The guru is an ordinary man who need to be rectified and reformed. That is called the mad elephant offense, guru is ordinary.

I agree when you say, they could not find any ordinary man. The ordinary man is a little pious and tries to behave somewhat.

Rupanuga's program found the worst case molesters, drug taking dopers, and criminals and selected them as their gurus. If they had found some ordinary man that would have made a better guru than their pedophiles and criminals.

Rupangua seems to be living in denial of all the damages he has created for ISKCON, for the devotees, for the children etc.. And for Krishna. He just does not seem to realize, his support for them caused unlimited troubles and he helped cause this.

When a person is qualified, he is a guru, nothing they did has anything to do with people being qualified. None of them are qualified because none of them would have gone along with all this if they were qualified.

Even an ordinary man who works as a doorman for Walmart is more qualified, because he will try hard not to hurt others. They went out of their way to harm ISKCON and the devotees of ISKCON. That is their only qualification, they hurt people, and cause women, children, brahmanas, cows and the devotee community ... to suffer badly.

That has nothing to do with being qualified to be guru.

  2. M Dasi: Hah hah! We have made our "men bodies" into acharyas, and seen most of them go to hell in a hurry. Most of them did not even last a few years before the scandals started. Now! Lets make women into acharyas ... to fix our first mistake. We are going to fix one mistake with another mistake. Sounds reasonable.

The main problem I see is ... most of the "female guru candidates" or old female Prabhupada devotees ... are gone, and they left a long time ago. The few who remain ... are not too well glued together ... and are not fit to become leaders of any type. Who is going to jump into the women's acharya seat ... even if it opens up?

I don't see how they will find volunteers. I also cannot see any women going to the GBC's meetings to rub elbows with "Women Are Mothers and Not Masters" Bhakti Vikas swami, who was one of the bigger cheer leaders of Bhakti Vidya Purna swami and other child beaters and molesters in Mayapur.

Most of them detest this man and all he stands for. I just don't see it happening. And even if women gurus could fix things ... it is way too little way too late. The die has been cast already.

Most people just find the GBC totally barfable rubbish and they don't care if the GBC wanted give out free big screen TVs to the people who come to the temple. They are not coming to the temple, no matter what "GBC resolution" is passed or not passed. So I say, go and make a bunch of women into gurus, that creates another fresh set of problems, and that will make the whole thing collapse faster. Go for it!

Rupanuga is also not too smart if he thinks making fallen kanisthas into any type of diksha gurus works. He just keeps trying to make his bets win at Reno, but he already lost all his cash by gambling already. He does not have five more cents to gamble. His program bankrupted everything already.
