PADA: ISKCON's big guru program is not sustainable. They are losing their top guys, and none of the current crop has the military general skills of the first wave, so they are too weak to defend the sinking ship. Meanwhile they are trying to find some elderly old grandmother matajis to sign up to become women gurus, and that is not going well for them either.
Meanwhile I am getting lots of nice feed back for my blogs and sites, we are gaining momentum to make Srila Prabhupada the sole acharya. Time is on our side. There is a global awakening, many young people are also leaving the Evangelicals, citing that their church is getting too involved with mundane politics and they are losing the goal of being loving human beings. ys pd

MH: So long then no one is following SP's instructions about varnashrama and self sufficiency, nothing major is going to happen to the movement. But when some great soul takes those instructions to the heart and starts serious cow protection, then big changes are happening.
We may claim to be his followers, but where ever cow protection is missing, also his instructions are not followed to the letter.
HD: Self sufficiency is also part of the global awakening in any case and regardless one's spiritual path. Let´s hope Iskcon will soon open up for SP's real devotees again! Then we will most certainly improve our understanding about SP's teachings when it comes to ALL vaishnava lifestyle areas.
MH: They are open to it. They are not against you or me establishing self sufficient cow protecting center. They would be happy about it. The problem is that no one wants to give up the modern life and live in medieval farm. And if some devoted souls want that, they don't have money to buy huge amounts of land.

So co-operation is needed between those with money and those who want to do it. For that we need movement. And that movement can be started by anyone who is ready to give everything to it. So at the moment we may have to wait for that great soul to appear, unless devotees can learn to cooperate on their own. After that we can go to do some karma yoga and give helping hand to it.

JD: ISKCON has gone through a very dark period of history. In fact no one could even believe how bad it would have to get ... if you had told them in 1978. They were just in a big bubble of illusion. We are going to make 11 new Prabhupadas ... and just wait how much nectar that will spread all over!
ReplyDeleteDid not happen as planned. Instead, so much poison and destruction was spread all over. Thousands of devotees were kicked out, others beat up, many kids molested, women treated horribly, the list is endless. Then the books were chopped into pieces. Book distribution went down to a trickle.
And everyone asked, where are the Hare Krishnas? Disappeared.
And that is because ... I believe ... a diabolical and Satanic cabal hijacked ISKCON. Yes they poisoned Prabhupada to launch their take over. And yes ... they would kill us too if they thought they could get away with it. And why did they do that? So they could extract all the resources of the society to make a cushy fine luxury life for themselves ... at everyone else's expense.
I have to say this to them .. the party is going to be over pretty soon. The party already ended for most of the 11 ... and it is not going to last long for their "voted in replacements." Like Kadamba kanana. Lokanath is still their main man ... but he is on the run from major scandals himself.
Gopal Krishna looks like he is already a ghost. Radhanath is hanging in there ... but there is a big shadow always behind him from his New Vrndavana days. He cannot rest in peace either. In other words ... the whole show they have now is held together with a few balls of yarn, duct tape and super glue. It will not last.
And the storm that is blowing against them of disgruntled patrons grows daily. It is crashing down ... even though slow motion. So what is left now? Maybe we should make Srila Prabhupada the acharya and not them. That is the growing consensus isn't it?
