[PADA: Isn't that always the way folks? Much of the indiscriminate killing, small wars, big wars if not wholesale "war crimes" going on around the world, and for thousands of years, is being done "in the name of religion." And that has been the case throughout Kali Yuga history. Yep! "God wanted me to bomb your churches and hospitals. And bomb the be-jeepers out of your pregnant women and babies, your elderly old folks etc., so He could make the world better." Really?
And then people become atheists, thinking God wanted all this burning of houses, rapes, murders, bombing, starving people etc. to take place. Hmmm! Well maybe God does NOT WANT any of this to happen, rather He is merely allowing the demoniac to act. God is not factually in favor of any of this. In sum, God is not desiring or authorizing any of this, rather He is allowing the Satanic to behave in evil ways, to fulfil their desires to be little Devils.
Yep! As usual, there are always "religious leaders" working -- behind the scenes -- encouraging all this carnage. So this is the state of "dharma" or religion in Kali Yuga, just as is predicted in the VEDAS. Religion will become irreligion and irreligion will become religion. Even at the time of Krishna there were fake brahmanas who supported Kamsa.
And the unfortunate result is, millions of people are killed in these "religion wars" where in the end -- the mothers end up burying their children, either their soldier children or the victims of the soldiers. Some Russian soldiers were wearing insignia patches on their uniforms "We kill them, and send them to hell, and we go to heaven."
"Kill em all and let God sort it out." OK, and He will. The people who make various unauthorized wars and resultant mass killing will have to suffer for eons of time in hellish conditions.
Even if this is advertised as a so-called religion justified war, it might not pass the religion test on Yama's planet. There is a good chance -- that these wars are NOT justified by God, nor do they consult with what God really thinks about all this.
And their fates might be reversed. Maybe the victims will make more advancement in their future lives, and the soldiers will all go to hell. Yep, we might think this war is religion, but if God does not think it is religion, we are making a huge mistake which could condemn us to hell by God's authority, because maybe God does not recognize the authority of these Church leaders or their "religion wars." Of course, there is karma involved, and being under the authority of these bogus religious leaders is creating more and more "bad karma."
And it is the same thing in the co-called ISKCON religion. We have to worship their molester messiahs, or be banned, beaten, chased with baseball bats, sued or -- killed. Religion is only an external show, and the real religion is suppressed. Did I forget to mention, these false religionists are mentioned in the VEDAS, as people who are destined to go to the darkest regions of the universe -- for misrepresenting God and religion? And that will apply to these bogus religion leaders whether so-called Orthodox Church, or ISKCON Church. ys pd]
TRANSLATION
Following such conclusions, the demoniac, who are lost to themselves and who have no intelligence, engage in unbeneficial, horrible works meant to destroy the world.
The demoniac are engaged in activities that will lead the world to destruction.
The Lord states here that they are less intelligent. The materialists, who have no concept of God, think that they are advancing. But, according to Bhagavad-gita, they are unintelligent and devoid of all sense. They try to enjoy this material world to the utmost limit and therefore always engage in inventing something for sense gratification. Such materialistic inventions are considered to be advancement of human civilization, but the result is that people grow more and more violent and more and more cruel, cruel to animals and cruel to other human beings.
They have no idea how to behave toward one another.
Animal killing is very prominent amongst demoniac people. Such people are considered the enemies of the world because ultimately they will invent or create something which will bring destruction to all. Indirectly, this verse anticipates the invention of nuclear weapons, of which the whole world is today very proud.
At any moment war may take place, and these atomic weapons may create havoc. Such things are created solely for the destruction of the world, and this is indicated here. Due to godlessness, such weapons are invented in human society; they are not meant for the peace and prosperity of the world.

The letter was addressed to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, head of the Russian Orthodox Church, who is known to have a close relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“With broken hearts, we are making an earnest plea that you use your voice and profound influence to call for an end to the hostilities and war in Ukraine and intervene with authorities in your nation to do so,” the letter read.

VOICE OF AMERICA NEWS:
THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS —
The clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Dutch city of Amsterdam, announced Saturday it was splitting from the Moscow church because of threats to them over Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In a statement posted to its website it said that after a meeting, "the clergy unanimously announced that it is no longer possible for them to function within the Moscow Patriarchate and provide a spiritually safe environment for our faithful."
It was "with a heavy heart" that the four priests of Saint Nicholas of Myra in Amsterdam had reached their decision, they said. They had asked Archbishop Elisey, of the Russian Orthodox Church in The Hague, to grant them canonical dismissal and had applied to join the Constantinople Orthodox Church, the statement added.
Patriarch backs invasion
In an early statement, the church clergy said that they would no longer mention the name of the Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox Church, in their liturgy because of his backing for the invasion of Ukraine. In a February 27 sermon, the Patriarch described Moscow's opponents in Ukraine as "evil forces" fighting against the "unity of Russia."
That early Amsterdam church decision led to an unscheduled visit from Archbishop Elisey during mass, who told them that Moscow was watching their actions closely, they said. The Amsterdam clergy said they felt that they were being pressured by both the archbishop and the Russian state to go back on their stance.
Other priests denounce Moscow church
The Amsterdam branch of the Russian Orthodox Church is not the only one to object to the position taken by the church's leader. In Ukraine, some Russian Orthodox priests have denounced the Moscow church since the start of the invasion.
And the Paris-based Metropolitan Jean de Doubna, who heads up about 60 parishes following the Russian tradition across Western Europe, expressed his support for Ukraine in an open letter published on Wednesday.

LW: This spiritual leader Kirill is likely a member of the Russian FSB security ... a tool for the state. Even if he wanted to oppose the leaders ... they would maybe just poison him ... and he knows that. The state does not allow dissent.
ReplyDeleteAnyway ... another weak spineless "spiritual man" who has no standing with moral issues. That is part of Russia's problem ... too many "yes men" are afraid to stand up and do the right thing. And same in ISKCON ... people just cave in and follow the leaders ... even when the leaders are ordering driving the ship onto the rocks.
"Yes sir, we will follow your orders sir ... and drive the ship onto the rocks. Many of us will die ... and the ship will be wrecked. Thank you sir for giving us such glorious and well planned out orders sir." Just no brains at work here.
Probably a lot of Russian soldiers know by now they are in a giant mess ... they can die ... but what can they do? If they leave the battle ... they will get shot back in Russia if they leave and go home.
So they just stay and do their duty ... out of fear of being branded a traitor and all that. It is just bad for everyone involved. Even this Kirill might be realizing ... they are just using me as a stooge prop ... to prop up their war. But he is too afraid to challenge the status quo. Possible scenario.
All this is about exactly what happens in ISKCON. Most people know whole thing is off the rails ... they just go along because they feel they have to. They are victims of bad leaders. Having said that ... no one can tell Yamaraja they have "just been following orders."
You are not allowed to follow bad orders. You have to pay the piper. And they will. Russian people are going to suffer now because they will be blamed for all this ... when most of them are not even agreeing ... they are just going to get lumped in ... just like we get lumped in with all the GBC's sewage of crapola program. It is just bad for everyone.
Will the ISKCON GBC's Russian and Ukraine program ever recover? Not for a long time ... if ever. They put most of their eggs in that basket ... which just got run over by a Russian army tank ...
