Why do we want even one child anywhere in the universe to worship such a pile of deviant goons as their eternal messiahs, at all? Ever? And some of the disciples of pedophile guru Lokanath wrote to tell me "he is taking our sins." A pedophile is equal to Jesus, he is another messiah, and can take people's sins? Why is Praghosha participating in such a delusional cult? And a cult that is self evidently dangerous -- because Lokanath followers are sending people death threats now as we speak.
Praghosa dasa -- Initiated by Satsvarupa das goswami -- whose gurukula had "every single kid molested" according to one of the ex-teachers. Satsvarupa was the number one cheer leader of Kirtanananda, and he said me and Sulochan dasa are "poison pens" for criticizing Kirtanananda. Sulochan said Satsvarupa has "painted a bull's eye on my back" and he was assassinated shortly after that. Never mind Satsvarupa writes "I have to battle constantly with doubts that Krishna is a myth" "the more I chant the drier it gets" etc.
Satsvarupa is perhaps one of the worst instigators in promoting the GBC's pedophile guru process, because he was their main position paper writer in the early 1980s. So that is not a good lineage to be connected to. Anyway, although he does not answer any of these points, he at least does make a few good admissions here -- and it is a good start to opening some form of dialogue. ys pd]
Where is Satsvarupa taking his disciples?
BKS: He gets heavy in the end taking about his own kids? I have to say that when I came to Pragosh to address the sexual and other abuses in the Vrindavan Gurukula in 2003-4, I have him on the phone and even use this example of his own kids. I asked him to imagine if this was his children, how would he like it dealt with.
ReplyDeleteHe did the typical snow job of sending a one-person team to come sweep it all under the carpet. I requested him to give two people and I would give two people too. Conduct the investigation. Instead they sent one person, who swept it all under the carpet and gave them a pat on the back.
The main abuser was sent to the Delhi temple, where he changed from orange to white, married a girl, who did not know about his past and then a year later he returned to Vrindavan. He lives there today, leading kirtan, giving class and representing the movement with enthusiasm and charisma. So I'm not buying his BS...
