[PADA: This virus problem is still a giant mess in INDIA. And that is why some of my friends there said various ISKCON temples are still suffering a lot economically, while the Bangalore group is getting more and more support because of their assistance programs to feed people. Perhaps this is Krishna's method of helping the Prabhupada group there.
Might also explain the "real reason" why they are hanging onto Lokanath so heavily, they cannot afford more disruptions in their economic structure. OK it is corrupt, it is simply a business, and more people are figuring that out.
The people who get the virus now are incubating more new strains. And India is therefore evidently a big incubating pot at present. Meanwhile, a deadly lung fungus problem is spreading there -- afflicting mainly the virus patients -- in addition to everything else. So it looks like this virus problem is going to continue on in India for the forseeable future. When Krishna puts the hammer down, no one can easily lift it off, that is simply the fact of the matter.
Anyway, there will be some sort of TV video of the Puri Ratha procession, looks like that will be the best method of preaching from there for now -- cyberspace videos, Zoom classes etc.
Meanwhile, the San Francisco Ratha festival has been approved and it is going forward. And it allows for unrestricted numbers of guests. Thus, some things are moving along in some areas.
