TULSI'S 5,000 YEAR TRADITION
K Dasi: The articles written about Tulsi Gabbard are offensive to Vaisnavas. Calling a tradition that is 5,000 years old a "cult" is spin at its best. Having a guru is part of being a Hindu, just like having a priest you ask for advice is part of being Catholic. And the timing of the article is so obviously to distract from the incriminating emails she released about Fauci breaking the law and causing the pandemic.
PADA: OK so having a guru is part of the 5,000 years tradition. But Siddhaswarupa aka Chris Butler is not an authorized guru, and he has a lot of off the wall ideas, eccentric behaviors, overly done titles etc. And many of the followers have not understood the actual siddhanta. OK it is "a cult."
Of course there is some sort of Krishna consciousness idea in his program, and that is to his credit, but he should not promote himself as a divine being -- when he isn't. Yeah I know, his program has a better image than ISKCON, but that is not a whole lot to brag about. Thus no, I do not think Tulsi understands the differences among the various camps, or why the Prabhupadanuga idea is the right path. ys pd

Although the people on the GHQ (General Headquarters) like to think of themselves as very sastric, they don’t disdain dipping into other sources of wisdom, when it fits their purpose of humiliating women. Here, for instance, is one more quote shared by Shyamasundara on the GHQ conference, this time a splendid statement from Philip Stanhope, Earl of Chesterfield:
“A man of sense only trifles with them [women], plays with them, humors and flatters them, as he does with a sprightly and forward child; but he neither consults them about, nor trusts them with, serious matters.”
Srila Prabhupada unfortunately didn’t heed the above advice, and entrusted important tasks to women, even the worship of Deities (besides, of course, instructing ALL his disciples, men and women, to become spiritual masters).
That was probably a very imprudent mistake on his part, one we can hope the valiant GHQ warriors will fix.

YOU ARE MAKING RAMESVARA FALL (+ Amber Lynn)
PADA: A devotee said that when he reported Ramesvara's dating a young gurukula girl, many Los Angeles devotees told him to shut up, be quiet -- because "you are going to make Ramesvara fail." In other words, the overall devotee community knew Ramesvara was deviating, and he was victimizing one or more females, and yet the overall devotee community wanted to keep the problem a secret -- so the illusion that Ramesvara is a pure devotee could continue on.
Now people are asking, why wasn't Ramesvara reported to the police for dating his minor aged female student? Why was nothing ever reported to the police then or subsequently?
When we talk about childhood trauma, we talk a lot about the abuser. But we need to talk about the enablers, the ones who shove the truth down and pretend the house isn't on fire. Why do they do it?
I was 17 when I realized my mom would never choose me. For years, I always told myself she didn’t know about the sexual abuse her husband, my adoptive father, put me through, but deep down, I knew she did. It was something she shoved down and ignored for years, and when I talked to her about it at 16, she chose to keep protecting him.
It is crazy, and it is sick. It makes you feel completely upside down trying to understand how a parent could look at a monster destroying their child and decide to stay silent. But when you look at the cold psychology of an enabler, it usually boils down to two heavy, dark truths.
Preservation of Comfort: Facing the truth means destroying their own reality, their marriage, their financial stability, or their image. They look at the cost of blowing up their life versus the cost of letting a child suffer, and to them, a child's safety costs too much.
Willful Blindness: If they acknowledge the abuse, they have to acknowledge their own failure to prevent it. To admit the horror is happening means admitting they sat by and let it happen. Their ego cannot handle that level of guilt, so they rewrite reality to protect themselves.
My mom chose to protect the person hurting me because it was easier than facing her own life falling apart. It is just crazy how people choose to protect people that hurt children. But understanding why they do it, understanding that they chose their own comfort over your safety helps you realize the truth … their choice was a reflection of their own brokenness, never your worth. You deserved to be protected. And if you had to become your own protector, I am standing right here with you.

One day I was invited to BB Govinda Swami's (BBGS) private home which boasts an attached sauna and Spa facility. His residence was located in a secluded area of the ISKCON farm community on the outskirts of Almaty.
While at his house, I walked in on Maharaj receiving a full body oil massage by his young Russian female secretary. At that time, she must have been in her mid-to-late twenties. During the massage session she was only wearing a choli top and lower garment loosen around her waist area.
Feeling very shocked by what I had witnessed I turned to Anirdesh Vapu (aka Bhaktividya purna swami) who happened to be there at that time. He told me that BBGS was transcendental and not affected by lust, hence there was no issue to speak of. I also asked for advice from Govinda and others. I was encouraged to leave, feeling disgusted and disappointed I flew to New Delhi. Upon reaching Vrindavan I confided in Aindra prabhuji and his assistant Gopal das.
After some time, I stopped thinking about what I had witnessed in Kazakhstan. Over the years while residing and working for my father's business partner in India, I would occasionally meet with BBG Swami. On one such occasion was in a five-star hotel in Delhi called the Oberoi (Records can be requested).
On another occasion during Kartik I visited Maharaj in his house and saw him entertaining Kiranas, a known pedophile in the community. While I was at BBGS's house he received a visit by Shri Radhe devi dasi (South African) alongside her female students from the Mayapur Gurukula, at that time these girls were under the age of 15.
I personally witness Maharaj embracing each one as they lined up for a sharing of "the Love". Many years later when the local ISKCON management at the Krishna Balaram temple had Kiranas arrested, Indradyumna Swami and BBGS paid for his bail to release him from police custody.
These are the three main incidents that I have personally witnessed. BBGS spent 30,000$ refurbishing his bathroom in Vrindavana, he told me that he did not like the way it looked while giving a tour to myself and my mother. This was the money that he had collected on behalf of his yatra in Kazakhstan. Having failed to register the community correctly, the local government evicted the devotees in the community and bulldozed many of their homes.
Maharaj then use that as an excuse to fund raise for his failing project meanwhile lavishly spending money on his own personal self. Expensive reading glasses costing at least $1,000 fashion branded (now in a monkey's mouth) accessories and cologne, five star hotel resorts business class flights his own fancy private apartment properties in London, Dubai and Mayapur. His house in Vrindavana was stolen from the UK yatra in Vrindavan.
In 2018, in the UK, his servant witnessed him embracing a young 15 year old girl at her private residency, without the knowledge of her parents. He instructed his servant not to take any photographs which made his assistant question the nature of his intention.
Due to retribution and intimidation by BB Govinda Swami many people are scared and have not come forward. He can be very aggressive. I also witnessed him making racist statements and jokes cursing out black people. I presented this information to Prahladananda Swami of the Sannyas committee many years ago, but nothing ever came of it.
I sincerely hope that this time these matters will be properly investigated and addressed so that BBG Swami can get the help he needs! Yours in the service of the lord Narashima

PADA: Right prabhu. Communism does give us everything: Walmart, Home Depot, Office Depot, Kohls, Ross, Dollar Tree, it is almost all made in China stuff. This ideology is making everything we buy here. And that is why we always have a giant trade deficit with China, since Reagan, and a huge deficit to pay for everything coming from China.
BB: No....you mean to sing the virtues of capitalism and free trade on the open market, good prabhu. Communism is of the Devil, don't you know?
PADA: Supporting and funding communism is freedom? Yes, now you are free to work in USA's No. 1 job, working at Walmart and Amazon selling communist made items. That is what they said would happen when Reagan de-regulated China trade, all our jobs would go there. And then millions of our jobs did go there.
Of course, we all know the tragic result that process created for Sulochana and almost, me. But this shows how the community often has a role in enabling predators and abusers, and this has happened all too numerous times in ISKCON. When I was reporting on Jayatirtha's sex-capades, same thing, most devotees shut me down and told me to stop complaining or "you will bring down Jayatirtha." So what?
OK what about the victims of these gurus sex-capades? So yeah, ISKCON's guru crisis was aided and abetted by many rank and file helpers. The rank and file covering for the bogus leader is a commonly deviated bogus cult phenomena of "mob hysteria," a psychological problem, as we find similar in this Amber Lynn story, even though her story is smaller scale, the psychology is the same.
Yup! It is the same type process, people are enabling deviation to keep their own situation secure, they feel guilty and cannot admit they enabled these crimes, and so on, so they have to stay in denial to preserve their own egos. There are probably many other excuses. Anyway her story looks familiar to ISKCON'S. There is a problem, and the adults and seniors look the other way, or worse, cover for the bad guys.

WEATHER HAVOC
PADA: Srila Prabhupada said the weather would become extreme in Kali yuga. And it is. Yeah, the MAGA people are promoting Kali yuga, since they want to burn more and more oil and coal, hee hee. We had acid rain from coal when I was a kid. We knew this was killing fish and trees, and was rotting bricks and marble on buildings way back then. And people were saying, if acid rots away stone buildings and marble, what happens to us?
Hee hee. Yeah this was well known, also the London smog of 1952 killed a bunch of people, so that means smog type polluting was well known -- all along. I pick on MAGA because they keep saying that all this weather change is a hoax, so they can burn more oil and coal ... which they just did, made more coal burning.
Smog makes excess heat, we all knew that when I was in LA in the 1960s. Delhi has a "heat dome" and they try to restrict traffic at that time, ok the traffic's smog is accelerating the heat. These things are well known. ys pd

Freedom to work at a communist made items box store is not actually freedom, but hey who cares, we added $39 trillion to the deficit by sending our jobs there, and China just added $1.3 trillion trade surplus. Yes, funding the Devil is called freedom, and we are free to fund them if we want to, and we wanted to. And we are also free to go bankrupt by sending our economy offshore.

RUSSIA GAS CRISIS
Russians are running out of gas not only in Crimea but many other sectors. There are people waiting in line for 14 hours to get 5 gallons, if they can get anything. There are photos of people rigging up horses to pull their cars, because there is no gas.
So it looks like Ukraine's strategy is working, they took out many of the air defenses systems, radar systems etc. and so now it is easy for them to fly in with cheap drones and take things out. They are also taking out fuel trucks and supply systems.
This is oddly coinciding with the MAGA program to chop off Persian gulf's oil supplies. Dick Cheney said -- the only way to take out Iran was to have at least 500,000 boots on the ground, a few trillion defense expense dollars, and a few years of time. So we knew all along that just bombing a few buildings randomly here and there was never going to conquer those guys, and this would end up as a -- sealing the straits problem. We knew this would happen the whole time.
So Russia is running low on oil, the West is running low on oil, maybe the planet is getting too destroyed by all the petrochemical burning (and thus heat waves) and the planet is taking down the oil production in different ways to curb the use.
Cannot say for sure. But this is good news, these Russians won't be driving to their military drone, missile and aircraft manufacturing plants, they will have to park on the side of the road and wait for the horse and buggy taxis.
That will slow down their killing of civilians in Ukraine. I am for all of that. Russia wanted to take over more than Crimea, they got greedy, so they wanted all this giant kerfluffle -- and they have only themselves to blame for making their own crisis. One Russian guy said, the only gas in Russia is being used to fill the drones that go to Ukraine, so the little gas we have -- is going to Ukraine and not us. Hee hee.
