Govinda Dasi RE: Poison Issue 03 16 25

GOVINDA DASI:

THIS one is easy to answer. If he was being poisoned, as HE HIMSELF SAID, and some of the other disciples found this out, there would have been fratricidal war. The amazing part of this lila is that although Srila Prabhupada said this, talked about it, and even alluded to some of the people around him, he became quiet when he was asked who was poisoning him.

I think you need to listen to the tapes, as you obviously have not. And if you are in fact in the legal profession, then you will get a glimpse of what was being said by Srila Prabhupada direct.

I was not there. I was told not to come just like the rest of Prabhupada’s disciples. Srila Prabhupada sent a telegram asking all his disciples to come to Vrindaban, but certain leaders blocked this, according to one of them, due to financial concerns (how will we pay the mortage if the devotees don't do the marathon, and never mind that Srila Prabhupada is calling them to his bedside….)

I respect that you may know law, but I also suspect that you weren't around in those days, and you don't really know much about what really happened. Maybe you should do more investigating.

So far as I am concerned, I had a front row seat. Before and after. I was traveling with Srila Prabhupada from November to Late February. He was preaching like a lion. We were with him at Kumbha Mela and he was roaring at the sanyasis he was so displeased with them, saying, “this is not the meaning of sanyas, you have made a mockery of sanyas, no more sanyas initiations from now on….”

See a similar tape on Feb 7 1977 marked as Bombay, though the Mela tape was “lost.” Srila Prabhupada himself told me our parents may try to kill him. I think you don't know much about governments, because Srila Prabhupada became a huge threat to the rakshasa governments of the world.

And I think you don't know who Chandra Swami was, the assassin associated with the Rajiv Gandhi assassination, and other similar events. And I think you also don't know that Chandra Swami supplied the makardvaj medicine that suddenly disappeared after Srila Prabhupada left this world — though his soap, cloths, and other things remained.

And I think you also dont know that Chandra Swami was seen traveling with Adi Kesha Swami. The “devotee” who sold New York Temple, and whose father was a government agent. And you may also not know about Srila Prabhupada writing a letter to Adi Kesava Swami warning him to be careful of such men as Chandra Swami.

In fact, I think there is really a lot you dont know about, and before you speak about it, you should do more research. Unless you are being paid by someone to decry it that is.

PADA: Yep, I am seeing more comments by folks in and around ISKCON who are accepting the poison issue as valid. As Mayesvara says, the poison issue is spreading like a cancer all over ISKCON. OK but the people who started the cancer are the people in charge, and / or the people who were in charge of Srila Prabhupada's health in his final days here.

Even Narayan Maharaja originally tried to join with Tamal and say PADA is a rascal for bringing out this issue, but he later agreed it is valid. As soon as we introduced the issue, GBC guys, and other guys like Krishna Kant, Kamsahanta, the IRM etc. all told me not to bring it forward. They wanted to defend the regime. It is not working, the cracks in the regime's explanation of all this are bad and getting worse. Anyway, the fact that Govinda Dasi is on board is a bad sign for the regime, she does have a circle of influence and it is going in our direction.

Overall, all sorts of naysayer said I was a lunatic for bringing this out, but it looks like -- our opponents are the ones looking like lunatics. Srila Prabhupada is the person who started "the poison theory." And the fact they hid the tape means, they knew he was making much more than a theory complaint. ys pd

PADA: Yes. When I got the tape in 1997, I was unable to transcribe it my self because I don't know Hindi enough. I also could not trust any GBC person to help me either, they would destroy the tape, or notify the GBC to come after me (again)? So I took it to a Bengali newspaper writer. He made the original transcript, which was pretty good, Naveen made a few minor tweaks later. The Bengali man listened for 30 seconds, stopped the tape and said, "this is a homicide." He also begged me to never give out his name since he has relatives in Bengal and they could be in jeopardy. "These people are very dangerous." So that was the first transcript ever, because I wanted to compare it with an existing transcript, but there was none. Then I walked around Santa Monica mall with my sony walkman and played the tape 100 times or more. I knew that bringing it out would re-write history, and I wanted to make sure that it was going to be accurate. I believe it is accurate. ys pd
