PADA: According to Hladini's female associate in Africa (Mahavegavati dasi) Bhakti Tirtha swami (John Favors) had been writing some sort of "love letters" to Hladini. And Hladini had confronted Bhakti Tirtha swami, saying they should be married. Then Hladini and Mahavegavati were sent to a very dangerous area of Africa -- where a known civil war was going on. Mahavegavati says -- this was done with the intent that neither of them would return alive.
Hladini's husband confirmed that she had fallen under the sway of the New Vrndavana managers (like Radhanath and Bhakti Tirtha swami) and she was being sent to Africa without any good plan to oversee her safety and welfare. He felt something bad could easily happen to these two un - accompanied females in such a dangerous place. And he has been -- right -- the whole time.
Later on Mahavegavati was living alone in Buffalo New York. She says she was "discarded by ISKCON and tossed into the trash like used shoes." She said to me the one thing she feared the most was -- dying in an old folks home, but that is where she ended up. And she was lucky to be there, because otherwise she would have been homeless in -30 freezing weather in Buffalo. She said that after blowing the whistle on Bhakti Tirtha swami, "ISKCON people made my life hell."
Another lady, one of the senior most females of early ISKCON, also died near San Francisco in an old folks home. Her cigarette dropped down when she fell asleep, and started her bed on fire -- and she died from inhaling the poisonous fumes. So there is a sort of pattern of neglecting these elders.
When Bhakti Tirtha swami was sick with melanoma cancer, his followers were saying he as sick from taking their sins. Wow, these followers have been actually believing that Bhakti Tirtha swami is equal to Jesus -- and he can absorb their sins. That shows the levels of misconceptions going on in and around ISKCON.
Bhakti Tirtha swami was also famous for all sorts of whack doodle preaching, for example about the lost continent of Mu, subterranean demons, and all sorts of tin foil hats crazy-ness. And that is why he was made a big shot in GBC land?
Anyway, we do not believe these guys can absorb anyone's sins, including their own. And when a person claims to be able to absorb sins, and he cannot, he takes all those sins with him into the next life. And that is one reason false gurus are destined for the lowest regions of the universe. They are dragging a huge collection of sins along with them. Of course those sins can also make them sick, and get cancer and etc.
Anyway, we wanted to present the other side of this story. Mahavegavati says she survived so that people would know what really happened to Hladini. That seems to be the only reason I also survived, so people could hear the counter history of ISKCON than that presented by the leaders. ys pd

Mahananda Dasa: I can't even begin to explain the shock I experienced when I turned on You Tube to find some wonderful lectures by Srila Prabhupada and there was my beloved wife Hladini dd and Prince Yommi Johnson (her murderer) staring back at me. I almost fell off my chair and filled with emotion being reminded of the brutal massacre of the seven humble and dedicated devotees. They have made some errors in telling her story and as time goes by I plan to set the record straight. With all love and humility, Mahananda dasa
ReplyDelete[PADA: Just about everything they do is full of "historical errors." That is what they have done with the Sulochan death story as well. I believe Mahavegavati more than anyone else, because she was a direct eye witness and was right there at the scene at the time. And she told me the story a number of times ... so I know her version well. ys pd]
LD: Hladini got into bad New Vrndavana leader's association. I remember people arguing if Bhakti Tirtha Swami "Krishnapada" thinks he is higher than "Prabhupada" because "Krishnapada" is a MUCH higher title. What an arrogant fool! I am Krishna's pada! No ... you are fool and rascal pada.
ReplyDeleteThese ladies got involved in some very heavy deviation. Krishnapada is not something to joke about. What happened to these ladies is ... no doubt ... tragic and horrible ... but they had to be stopped from promoting all this nonsense. Sometimes Krishna just pulls down His giant hammer ... to stop us from such bogus things.
I remember people saying ... some African American fellow from the hood does not all of a sudden become the superior of Prabhupada and he is now Krishnapada! These people lost their minds and became heavy offenders. So Krishna cut them all down ... and I believe ... it is all for the best ... in the long run of things. We cannot cheat Krishna and Prabhupada and give false titles to foolish New Vrndavan people ... and not expect some serious reaction.
I hate to be such a pragmatic ... but Krishna sometimes saves us by getting rid of us. He also got rid of Bhakti Tirtha ... same technique. I feel bad for all of them ... but they do not understand what they were dealing with. We cannot fool around with Krishna's and His acharya's titles meant for His pure devotees ... being given artificially to the unqualified. There will be payback ... and it might not be pretty.
By now ... all of them know for sure that we cannot use these titles without superior authority. Amazing !!! that many people even knew all that at the time ... we cannot say anyone is the superior to Prabhupada by calling them Krishnapada ... it is never to be done. It is insult to the pure devotee.
And if it is done ... there will be sad results. But not totally surprising results. I feel bad for all of them ... but they had to learn this one ... the hard way. They did not listen to those of us who doubted the whole scheme ... so they had to learn by hard knock school lessons.
M Dasi: Just looking at BTS with all of his crazy-ness dress up outfits ... like his African Prince clothes ... other times wearing gold chains and weird ancient Egypt head gear ... we already know he is not all that glued together. A few of his brain parts are not working ... or missing.
ReplyDeleteHis books and lectures were sometimes banned from some ISKCON places ... considered as WAY too far off from Srila Prabhupada's teachings. It was VERY well known he had some major mental hospital crazy things going on ... by a lot of people. And we knew many other leaders were doing crazy things too ... it was like a crazy house.
How did he attain Krishnapada status? Because ... he went along with the other crazies who thought they were Vishnupada, Acharyapada, Gurupada, Bhaktipada etc. More madness. He was an eccentric with many mental issues ... but so were most of the rest of them. BTS was simply out doing the rest of them. You are only Vishnupada ... I am your superior ... because I am Krishnapada. This was some sort of ego driven grandiosity battle.
Therefore ... almost all devotees were placed in bad situations due to their bad management ... and numbers of devotees suffered ... if not died ... from some form of trouble caused by these leaders. Even gurukulis were dying from suicides.
The people who went along with them are victims ... that is true ... but the victims should also have seen what most other people were seeing ... these leaders are five bottles short of a six pack.
His crazy-ness was like an open secret. It was obvious to most of us ... this man has some real problems connecting to reality. But so did Hansadutta, Bhavananda, Kirtanananda and many others have same problem being connected to reality. That means ... more people should have simply rejected their orders and authority.
Bhakti Tirtha swami thought he was something he was not. That is a sign of madness right from the start. If we follow the mad house's leaders ... we fall into their madness ourselves. We can say the leaders are mainly to blame ... and they are ... but it is also our duty to stop following the wrong leaders ... when they tell us to jump off a cliff ...
