Prosecuting Attorney Kelden Waltjen announced that 51 year-old, Mayapur Das Fiorentino, formerly of Hawai‘i Island, was arrested by Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputies on May 7, 2026 in Miami Beach, Florida. Fiorentino was later escorted by Hawai‘i County Prosecutors’ Investigators, back to Hawai‘i Island to face his criminal charges. According to police reports, Fiorentino had moved and was living in Miami Beach prior to his arrest.

Back in March 2025, Fiorentino was indicted by a Hilo grand jury on charges related to the sexual assault of a minor for incidents that occurred between March 2013 and July 2014. On June 4, 2025, Fiorentino made his initial appearance in Hilo Circuit Court. Prosecutors filed a motion to increase bail. After hearing arguments by the parties, the Circuit Court increased Fiorentino’s bail from $150,000.00 to $400,000.00 and ordered him to appear for a Further Proceedings hearing on June 15, 2026.

As the Indictment alleges, Fiorentino is charged with four counts of Sexual Assault in the First Degree (with a minor, who was at least fourteen years old but less than sixteen years old). Sexual Assault in the First Degree is a class A felony offense and carries a penalty of a twenty-year prison term. The charges are merely allegations, and the Defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

The case was initiated by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department – Hillsborough, North Carolina. The felony investigation was led by Lieutenant Patrick Aurello, South Hilo Patrol, formerly of the Area I Juvenile Aid Section, and Detective Kelsey Kobayashi, Area I Juvenile Aid Section, Hawai‘i Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Heipua Ah Loy.

PADA: OK folks, allegedly this is Srutakirti's son / Urmila's son in law. He was a disciple of Bir Krishna, although it seems Bir Krishna has renounced him. If the charges were initiated in Hillsboro NC, then that means folks from the Bir Krishna program, evidently where the victim's complaint was launched. But this is rare, because most ISKCON related abuse cases are never reported. 

Anyway according to a source close to the family, he was molesting his own daughter from the time she was 12 until 17. It is amazing that someone could have a baby girl, and then later on have sex with his own baby -- when she was older. It just seems so sick and twisted. And thus a number of people in ISKCON just do not believe a lot of these type complaints because they sound so off and awful, and hard to believe.

But Srutakirti himself has a reputation for having different wives or girlfriends, and he seems to have a problem of -- keeping it in his pants so to speak. Then we add to that, the Srutakirti program is promoting all sorts of illicit sex with men, women and children predators as gurus -- and we know we become what we worship -- then we wonder why -- by worshiping predators -- we keep producing more of them? 

And this would be itself sad -- if we only produced people with evil desires -- but it is a catastrophic failure to the victims when we produce people who act out on these evil desires. And the long term consequences for some of these victims is lasting their whole lifetimes. 

Srutakirti is -- in our opinion -- an opportunist. He hangs around ISKCON to get some side benefits of being "the senior devotee" while he is exploiting the society, and some of the females in it. And he trains his kids to worship members of the illicit sex with men, women and children messiah's club, and then we wonder why his kids have a distorted -- or wholesale corrupt idea -- of predators, sex, guru, Krishna consciousness etc. So I would say this son is a victim of Srutakirti giving him wrong training, and then he in turn victimizes others. 

Whole thing is very sad. But we cannot monkey around with Vedic mantras, potencies and programs, and dilute and contaminate them, because it will be a force multiplying effect of severely enhancing evil. If the name of Krishna is used for purification, it has potency that way, and if we use it for evil agendas, it has potency to take things down. 

How low down? To the most obnoxious regions -- further down in hell than the karmis. I don't know what else to say except, we told ya so! A person who knows the victim says -- Srutakirti owes the Vaishnava community, and the victim and family of the victim, a serious apology for making such as disaster case for his own son, and leading his son to worship a predator sampradaya, with self evident results. 

Did I forget to mention child predators are treated badly in prison, they are the lowest rank even in prison. What happens when we worship such persons as our messiahs? I did try to alert Urmila to all this way back in the day when I was using snail mail for my news, and she returned my letter "no interest in this topic." OK well this is what happens next -- when the senior devotees have no interest in this issue. The good news is, Pratyatosa got a lawyer to at least help some of the victims. He understood the gravity of the issue.

KD: Son of Srutakirti  das (well known former servant of Srila Prabhupada) and Tarani dasi.  Former husband of Champakalata dasi daughter of Urmila dasi. The extradition back to Hawaii is a result of the charges against him in a confession by the alleged victim. It’s not my place to name this (now) woman however it is shocking on many levels.

KD: About 7 years ago maybe. He left her to be with another woman. They had been married at least 20 years.  

NC: The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. That ENTIRE family needs to undergo therapy for sex addition. Sruta is on his 5th wife??? Seems to always get younger.

I also hate the fact that he hides behind the “I personally served SP” line.

Someone should confront him in Vrindavan.

PADA: He was evidently having s*x with his daughter. I think that people have never understood the consequences of worshiping illicit s*x with men, women and children, drunks, drug addicts and predators, and persons 2/3 show of hands voted in by same, as a society's messiahs. NEPAL UPDATE

PADA: OK so the managerial team at Nepal was suspended by the GBC for a major molesting issue going on there, then these same managers go to Vrndavana and are given the Vyas seat to lecture. What up? Can someone tell us what is really going on here? ys pd 

What kind of shamelessness is this?

GBC, which is the highest administrative body of ISKCON, say they have been punished, has been suspended. Then! They are still preaching openly in dysfunction, that too -- sitting in the temple of ISKCON. What kind of fraud is this to devotees? And how stupid are the devotees who listen to such a person's discourse?

Why wasn't such a person removed from the administration? Why was there no obstacle to give such discourse by sitting in the temple of Srila Prabhupada?
Now it's not just a discussion of Bhagwat; it seems to be a delusion of the tendency of hiding and displaying his own likes. 

Twisting the decision of GBC talking "I don't agree", "don't move on," "fight hard" etc, is it trying to make himself as great as them by bringing context of Acharyas and great devotees? Is Srila talking about Prabhupada's level? This is too much. This has become too difficult for devotees to bear. 

This is a challenge to GBC.

Now such people are not even worth calling a devotee. He is a person of Asuri trend, who has entered into ISKCON of Srila Prabhupada to destroy this movement. Why can't such people be expelled from Nepal, and everywhere else?

Are Nepalese so coward and busty? How long will you live by doing such extreme injustice in an organization, sitting in the post, hurting the devotees, and submitting your orders on such divine institutions, making it your personal company and misleading the devotees?

How long will the devotees do blind devotion? How long will we do blind devotion?
This has become so unbearable. This is the attack on Srila Prabhupada and all the former Acharyas. This is the attack on the chest of Srila Prabhupada. It is a attack like a kick on the chest.

How helpless are these devotees who can tolerate this much? This is a very serious topic. Everyone please think seriously about this. Don't try to challenge the right of supreme administrative and regulatory bodies like the government body (GBC) established by Srila Prabhupada. Otherwise, if such disobedience is continuously committed, the concerned person must partner in the most strict disciplinary action and punishment according to institutional rules.

Coming live saying 'Shrimad Bhagwat Live Class', but presenting political talks, interpretations and own selfishness on the same platform? Vyasasan is not just a place to sit and speak—it is a posture of responsibility towards scriptures, Acharya and Guru-traditions.

Quoting some sentences of Acharya and presenting it according to your intelligence, saying one thing outside but having another purpose in your mind does not increase the dignity of religion. Politics in the name of Bhagwat, wrist interpretation in the name of scriptures and personal selfishness in the cover of religion—how can this be called service to religion?

If you really speak Bhagwat, then let's speak what Shastra says honestly. If you want to do politics, let's not do it under the cover of Bhagwat. Let's not make the platform of religion a political platform. Let's keep the dignity of addiction. Say Hari.

The citizens and the common people who listen to morons should not be used in the game of their selfishness, influence and religious covering. Religion is a subject linked to the faith, beliefs and emotions of the people. This is why people in charge of religious institutions should show more transparency, truth, dignity and accountability. 

The simplicity and religious beliefs of the general public should not be made a medium to fulfill one's personal influence, strength or selfishness. A serious question arises today—what is Shrimad Bhagwat’s class really for?

Is God, to teach devotion, righteousness, truth, compassion, hatred and self-purity or to advance politics, coalition, accusations and institutional dispute in its name? If subjects beyond religion and scriptures are given priority by sitting on a religious platform, it is natural for the public to question.

Intuitive trends can cover religion outwardly, but the true meaning of religion should be seen from conduct. If you speak Bhagwat with mouth but truth, goodness, compassion, justice and accountability seem weak in behavior, it is natural to question them.

For years, common Nepalese citizens have been believing in religious institutions. Whether someone has been affected for political or personal interests based on the same belief—it requires a clear and fair answer. In the name of religion, not politics, we need the conduct of religion.

Truth is needed not conspiracy in the name of religion. In the name of religion, not influence, we need service. In the name of religion, the common people need respect, not use. It is not our intention to target someone personally. But it is the right of every devotee and civilian to ask answers to the serious questions raised in religious institutions.

Let's keep the platform of Shrimad Bhagwat on the purpose of Shrimad Bhagwat.
Let's not make the beliefs and beliefs of common citizens a means of political or personal interest. Let's protect religion as religion.

Bhagwat live class or political arena? Let's not sell our agenda in the name of scriptures. Let's not do politics under the cover of Bhagwat. Let's not break Acharya's words according to our own interest. If you want to live in Vyasasan, let us carry the dignity of Vyasasan, truth of scriptures and principles of Acharya.
Religion is not just about speaking Bhagwat with mouth—it is about showing Bhagwat in your behavior.

Let's not make science a weapon of politics.
