The letter started out so well and then sympathy for a demonic child abuser? The worst ISKCON has ever seen? I am so extremely saddened. I can only guess that we do not know just how intelligent, crafty and silver tongued BVP is. How do we think he got away with it all these years? Looking 'saintly' makes for excellent cover. Please remember, milk touched by a serpent has a poisonous effect.

Yes, BVP is very 'saintly'. Apart from abusing boys and girls sexually, physically, emotionally, spiritually and educationally he is so 'saintly' that he refused to teach Srila Prabhupada's books in his school, only Manusamhita, which, btw, Srila Prabhupada said we should only read after reading all his books first.

Years back he requested my Mom to kidize some books. My mother asked which of Prabhupada's books he wanted her to kidize. "Oh, Prabhupada's books? We don't teach Prabhupada's books in our school. I was talking about Manusamhita." were his exact words. My Mom told him she was too busy. To be fair, after I spread that little episode around Mayapur, I did hear that he had started teaching some of SP's books.

I personally saw the abusive situation those poor boys were in when I came to Mayapur when I was 16 years old. I had heard rumours before that but then I saw for myself. I am almost 50. A very 'saintly' soul.

When my mother took over Bhaktivedanta Gurukula Village and the children realised that they could trust us they began to tell us what they had been through. After telling me about being raped, beaten, whipped, starved, in some cases tortured, almost no education whatsoever, they told me that they couldn't tell me any more because I was too pure of heart and they didn't want to pollute my mind! That has always haunted me. What could possibly be worse than all of those horrors?! Yes, very 'saintly'.

Maybe Maharaj doesn't know about the separate prasadam lines for fee payers and non fee payers where the non fee paying children had to watch the fee paying kids get 3 subjis, rice, dahl, chapatis and sweet while the non fee payers only got a little fat rice and datta (drumstick) subji? Does he know about the little 5 year old boy who would sneak out in the middle of the night to cut down a baby banana tree, make a little fire, cook it and eat it because he was so starving hungry? Does he know about how BVP used to force to boys to chose which stick they thought they deserved to be beaten with (BVP's preference was the whip sticks, btw. They hurt more.)? Yes, BVP is very sadisticlly 'saintly'.

What about the little girls he insisted on bathing? Rubbing his hands over their chests and bodies? What about the intimidation so strong and intense that people feared for their very lives?

What is so horrible is that I am down playing it for the more sensitive souls. BVP was far worse than I have portrayed. I could go on...and on...and on...30 years worth of on and on ... but I feel too nauseated. 

Srila Prabhupada said that ISKCON was indestructible. That the only way to destroy it was from the inside. He said that demons would join up and take on the guise of vaisnavas just for that purpose. What better way for a demon to do damage than to hurt the children of ISKCON? To harm and destroy generations of children?

But demons are 'saintly' too. I mean look at Ravana and Hiranyakasipu. They knew the Vedas inside out, upside-down and backwards. They could spout mantras even better than BVP can.

If ISKCON gives BVP financial compensation, does BVP plan to use it to pay for the counseling of 40 years worth of kids and in several cases, their medical bills resulting from his abuse???

At the very least, put BVP in jail. Inmates are very partial to child abusers.

These are our children, our future hopes, nothing is more precious than them. Srila Prabhupada said that every child born or raised in ISKCON comes with a mission but if they are not raised properly, they will leave and their mission will be lost.

Anyone harming, defiling them in any way, shape or form deserves the harshest punishment possible. Just make sure to make it fit his 'saintly' crimes. And calling for the dismissal of the heroes who FINALLY managed to get BVP?! Have we gone mad? Someone finally comes along who actually protects our children and we want to kick them out?! Are we serious?!
