This is criminal.

PADA: Ajamila ACBS is also a giant fan of the GBC gurus like Jayapataka. It seems the real problem is -- most of our God brothers went along with the GBC guru system, and they are the ones who orchestrated the books changes. They sort of "went along to get along" and thus aided and abetted the hi-jack of ISKCON, which included the hi-jack of the books. It is only a small handfull of devotees who realize the changes are detrimental. Worse, a number of our God brothers see nothing wrong with the re-editing program.

LB: Another interesting aspect is just how powerful idols and celebrity worship can become. People’s desire for hero-worship often supersedes everything else. Their determination to preserve the image, no matter what happens, is almost formidable. The case of Michael Jackson is one of the best examples because, in his case, there seemed to be additional obstacles that ordinarily would have weakened mass appeal: race, apparent sexual ambiguity, and eventually even his physical appearance.

Despite widespread racism in society, despite even stronger homophobic prejudice at the time, despite his increasingly affected high-pitched voice and effeminate mannerisms in later years, despite visibly botched plastic surgeries and deeply disturbing public incidents — including dangling a child over a high balcony in front of the entire world — masses of people still refused to reconsider their devotion.

At a certain point, it almost stops being about the idol himself. The worship develops its own momentum, and people become psychologically incapable of stepping away from it because too much identity, emotion, and meaning have already been invested. Which is why I doubt that ISKCON’s pedophile enablers and abusive swamis will ever truly lose all of their followers either. Once a movement of absolute loyalty forms around charismatic authority figures, evidence alone is often not enough to break it.

Why would we win this time -- when we did not win previously over and over already? And Iran is much more formidable and well armed than Afghanistan, Gaza etc. Sorry, this was never going to end well for anyone IMHO. But didn't we already know that? 

A previous report said taking down Iran would require a ground operation of at least 1,000,000 (1M) boots on the ground. And we are wondering why no one is signing up to do that, when we cannot either? Meanwhile Coronel Mc Gregor says escorting a ship through the strait is "a suicide mission." And no one is signing up? Wonder why? Yeah, looks like -- this whole thing was never planned out from the get go.

• Military action was necessary sooner rather than later

Every US president before Trump resisted fully committing to that vision.

• Obama refused direct war with Iran
• Biden avoided full-scale military confrontation
• Even former Pentagon officials warned attacks could backfire

Because once war starts … controlling the consequences becomes impossible. The Iraq War was also sold as:

• Quick
• Necessary
• Strategic
• Liberating

Instead it became:

• A regional disaster
• A trillion-dollar war
• A source of instability for decades

Now people fear the same logic is being repeated again with Iran. And the biggest question is this:

If Iran was supposedly “about to collapse” in 2009…  and the same thing was repeated year after year… was the threat exaggerated to push America toward another war? Regime change sounds simple in speeches … but in reality it usually creates:

• Chaos
• Civilian deaths
• Refugee crises
• Regional instability
• Endless military escalation

And many Americans are now asking: How many times can leaders sell the same prediction before people stop believing it? If multiple US presidents refused to fully accept Netanyahu’s Iran strategy for years… why are tensions now moving closer to war than ever before?
