for Covid-19 and is currently in critical condition in the ICU at a hospital
in the USA.
We request the worldwide community of devotees to offer heartfelt prayers
for Maharaja's prompt and smooth recovery.
As you all know, HH Bhakti Charu Swami is a most respected Vaisnava leader
who has generously given his life to the service of his beloved spiritual
master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Maharaja is an
initiating spiritual master, a member of the Governing Body Commission, a
renowned speaker on the Vedic scriptures, a most melodic kirtan leader, an
innovator in Krishna conscious arts and culture, and above all, a dedicated
servant of Srila Prabhupada in whichever capacity he serves.
He began his life in Krishna consciousness as Srila Prabhupada's personal servant and secretary and continues every day to serve Srila Prabhupada in the same personal manner.

[PADA: I wish these guys well, honest. I just wish they would explain that we cannot worship a parampara that contains sexual predators, drunkards and debauchees and expect to attain Krishna. That will never work. Can they just admit that, before they die?

HH Bhakti Caru Swami. UPDATE
"Subal Sakhā Dāsa Dear devotees, I'm writing to inform you of HH Bhakti Charu Swami's current condition. Yesterday HH Bhakti Charu Maharaj had a temperature of 104°F, so he was taken in an ambulance from DeLand farm to the hospital and was admitted into the Adventist hospital in DeLand. After 4 hours they discharged him.
He decided to come to the preaching center near our house. My husband moved there to take care of him together with Shyama Murari prabhu and Anish prabhu. Maharaj's temperature was up again to 104°f in the evening. He was administered 2 tablets of Tylanol and was given tepid sponging to bring his temperature down.
Maharaj had no appetite and was feeling very uncomfortable. After 3 hours he took another fever reducing medicine and by 10pm his temperature was down 97.5°F. He slept for the first time in days and my husband woke him up at 3am to give him medicine, some light potato soup, and some liquids.
His temperature remained at 97.5°F. At 6:45am he was chanting and sitting in a chair when my husband went in the room. He said he felt fine and didn't want to take medication because it's not good for the liver. My husband pressed him to take it but he refused. He broke his ekadasi fast with a small piece of toast and avocado but his appetite was not there.
Maharaj continued to chant most of that morning. At 11am he called my husband and said his temperature was high again, at 104°F. His pulse oxygen level was 79%-90%. When my husband saw that it was so low he suggested Maharaj go back to the hospital. Maharaj agreed. We called the hospital in advance and they informed us that he tested positive for covid-19 because they had tested him five days ago.
We then immediately rushed him to advent health hospital in Altamonte Springs. The doctors found out that he is in grave condition and wanted to immediately ventilate him. Maharaj had previously said that he didn't want to be put onto a ventilator because he didn't want to be unconscious. At 8pm the doctors called my husband and said Maharaj had named him as his health surrogate, they also said that if Maharaj is unable to make a decision they'll call my husband to make the decision of whether to put him on the ventilator or not.
My husband called Maharaj's doctor and Sesa prabhu, the local GBC, was connected to the call. My husband told them that this responsibly should not be on him and that the GBC should make the decision. Sesha said he will call HH Ramai Swami, the executive chairman of the GBC and get back to my husband. 20 mins later Sesa prabhu and Maharaj's doctor called Guru Gauranga and informed him that in the event that Maharaj is unable to make the decision, they decided that he should be ventilated because the doctor said Maharaj will pass away if he isn't put onto the ventilator.
At 9:09pm Maharaj called my husband and told him he was feeling very uncomfortable, very stressed, and was finding it very difficult to breath. My husband mentioned to Maharaj that it was the consensus of the devotees that he should take the ventilator. They spoke for 10 mins and Maharaj said he would leave his life in the hands of the devotees and do what they wanted.
The call ended at 9:23. Maharaj called at 9:29 and informed him that he told the doctor he will accept the ventilator and he also asked my husband to thank the devotees for their prayers and keep in touch with the doctor while he is unconscious. During the last week that maharaj was so sick, he had been continuously speaking of how to spread Krsna consciousness vigorously in Orlando and had not cared much about his own health but rather about how much still has to be done to fulfill Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya's mission.
Not a moment of his time while he was sick was lost, but rather he kept working, up until today, even though his health was deteriorating rapidly. We are all praying to Krsna that he comes back to us healthy, quickly. Please also pray for his rapid recovery. Your servant Sucitra dd"

ReplyDeleteGuru Maharaj’s condition is more stable. There is remarkable progress in the respiratory condition. Ventilator was on 90% and now the doctors reduced to 70%. That means Guru Maharaj’s dependency on it is gradually reducing. There are less signs of stress.
Doctors gave the positive affirmation that Guru Maharaj is doing very well. They can’t tell how long Guru Maharaj has to be on ventilator. However, they are hoping for the complete recovery of Guru Maharaja.
Please continue remembering the love and affection Guru Maharaja has showered on each and every one of us and continue to pray in the lotus feet of Sri Sri Radha Krishna for the complete recovery our beloved Guru Maharaja. The Ventilator has greatly helped him.

ReplyDeletePADA: Bhakti Charu was being groomed to take over Mayapur after the departure of Jayapataka. Many Bengalis don't like the Western leaders, and a few of them told me they are disgusted with the big fancy apartments of the gurus while they neglected to cows and farms. They are also not happy the leaders are spending $20,00,000 suing Bangalore while they neglect the citizens there. So Bhakti Charu's health crisis tosses a monkey wrench into that plan. They really don't have many other leaders with credible stature there so its going to be a big power vacuum with this crisis. Overall that is good for us, they are having big problems convincing even Jayapataka people to make women gurus, and so on. Its all part of the overall meltdown of their power structure. Meanwhile Bhakti Chaitanya swami is having his own health crisis and so on and so forth. ys pd

ReplyDeleteBhakti Charu Swami, Gopal Krishna Goswami were included in the ISKCON management to not unsettle the public that the leadership of ISKCON is kind of nepotism of the American ISKCON members. So they know that they are needed. But still, they always would back down when it came to the GBC making wrong decisions. What we have today is what Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaja would describe as watering down a spiritual institution so that "the masses of people are able to exploit a spiritual movement for their own purpose." Since Lord Chaitanya "especially instructed the Indians to take up that task of spreading KC", one might have expected a better performance of Bhakti Charu Swami & co.

We are currently formally meeting twice daily on zoom as the physician critical care group to support HH Bhakti Charu Swami.
Our team was started at the directive of HH Jayapataka Swami, Guru Gauranga Prabhu and Mahavaraha Prabhu.
We are currently awaiting bacterial cultures result for Maharaj as we speak, in order to add on another medication to decrease inflammation and to see if he can do better. Still the doctors on the ground that are treating Maharaj are very conservative in their outlook for prognosis for Maharaj, and his ICU stay may be for at least 10 days.
Today we will be starting a therapy called convalescent plasma.
We are in hopes that HH Bhakti Charu Swami does not have another source of infection and actively trying to rule this out.
Over night there was a trial to try to wean Maharaj off of the ventilator, however, Maharaj still needs the ventilator.
We are in massive need of your prayers and blessings to serve Maharaj at the highest level.

Latest Update about my dear Gurumaharaja, HIS, HOLINESS BHAKTI CARU SWAMI who is becoming 75 years, but looks like in his fifties because very pure devotional lifestyle. The doctors evaluated Maharaj’s progress in the last 12 hours. His condition is critical but stable.

His blood pressure and ventilatory requirements are unchanged. There is no clear indication of sepsis but this situation is being closely monitored. The team spokesperson is in touch with the treating doctors on a regular basis. Please continue the prayer with intensity and intent. Our next update would be in approx 12 hours.

The medical team has reviewed Maharaja’s progress in the last 12 hours. Maharaj remains continuously stable.
At this time the next milestone we are looking forward to is waking up of Maharaja as he has been on some medications to help him rest. This is a long process generally and during this, some fluctuations are expected.
Please pray intensely and wholeheartedly with intent for His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami during this time.

HH Bhakti Charu Maharaj has become critically unwell. He has suffered a heart attack in the last few hours and this is affecting all his organs and bodily functions. At this time the doctors are working full time to stabilise Maharaj. The coming hours are the most critical Maharaj has been and we will be giving updates as soon as we can.
At this time we are asking for full attention, prayers and focus on the wellbeing of HH Bhakti Charu Swami. We humbly request for massive worldwide prayers to Lord Narsinghadev at this time

[PADA: Yes, its odd that some people are praying to Lord Narasimha to protect BCS, while we had to pray to Lord Narasimha to protect us from the BCS guru process that bans, beats, molests, sues and kills our Lord's Vaishnavas. In any case I don't wish BCS either well or unwell.
His karma is -- to have supported the wrong side. He has been a cheer leader of the molester messiah's project, and he cannot escape that karma now. He also covered up for the poison issue to save the main suspects in that process, and so on and so forth. All of this and more will have to be paid with interest eventually. More than not, we feel sorry for these guys. They had a chance to serve Krishna and instead they chose to serve their illicit sex / debauchee / child molester / devotee assassinating / guru poisoner program. At this moment of extremely difficult time we request you to please intensify prayers, chanting and sanga more intensely than ever before. The medical team has reviewed Maharaja’s progress over the last 12 hours. At the time of writing this update HH Bhakti Charu Swami remains in intensive care, on the ventilator and requiring support for his heart and kidneys. Maharaja’s breathing through the ventilator is worse than before and measures are being taken to attempt to improve this. Maharaja’s kidneys may need support as they are functioning less than normal. The test for Maharaj’s heart has shown stable function.
We remain in a dangerous and extremely critical period. We earnestly request Lord Narasinghadev’s mercy and blessings to pull maharaj out of this situation. Your aspiring servants

Dear Disciples of HDG Srila Prabhupada, devotees, disciples and well wishers of HH Bhakti Charu Swami,
We remain eternally grateful for all the intense prayers with intent. The medical team has reviewed Maharaj’s progress over the last 8 hours. HH Bhakti Charu Swami remains in intensive care, on the ventilator and the ventilation is becoming increasing difficult and Maharaj is requiring support for his blood pressure.
Maharaj is now established on dialysis to support his kidneys temporarily till kidneys start working on their own. His heart remains stable and is working well.
Maharaj remains in a dangerous and extremely critical condition and the level of seriousness has increased. We continue to pray for Lord Narasinghadev’s mercy and blessings to pull Maharaj out of this situation. Considering the current situation we request to please increase the intensity of prayers with intent and pray for Krishna’s intervention.
