Jayapataka's people sent us a nasty note: PADA's helping the BBT lawsuit, child molesting lawsuit, giving documents to the Bangalore lawsuit, etc. -- has cost ISKCON $100,000,000. Someone has a spare $100M for legal fees?
One Russian devotee say that because of driving people away in Russia, they have lost $3 billion income -- just in Russia alone. And that does not count the alleged embezzled funds that got lost over there in the shuffle. The "plan" is all too obvious, we will fund and finance legal attacks, legal defense, and lawsuits generally. That is priority #1.
OK but then -- will we fund the elder citizens, deteriorating properties that need repair, varnasrama, book printing etc.? Well nope, the priority is -- we need to make sure our lawyers have new Mercedes so they can get their chicken tikkas in style.
Malati does not get it yet? There is no one to write complaints to from the GBC. None of them seems to care about these issues and problems all along, or they would have started to do something 20 years ago. Malati needs to first of all tell us, who is the contact person in the GBC -- who will actually respond reasonably to these issues? Santa Claus? The tooth fairy? Donald Duck? Who or whom?
