Glastonbury Krishna's Join Nityananda Parivars

[PADA: Well there you have it. After 40 years of serving in ISKCON, he quits and goes to another sampradaya. To be honest, cannot blame the guy. Unfortunately, the "Nityananda Vamsa" program is not considered as bona fide by Srila Prabhupada.

I don't really see this guy's idea of uniting and having the various groups coming together -- working out, since there is a lot of infighting just within most of the groups to start with. One of these so-called Nityananda Vamsa people wrote me some very heavy handed insults and attacks recently. He thinks I am wrong to point out that various leaders from other groups supported the GBC's gurus.

I don't think they are always making level headed arguments either, which is why some of their people resort to personal attacks, insults, and etc. This guy who was insulting me claimed to have also been also formerly in ISKCON. Well it looks like ISKCON is spinning off its own competition. As Srila Prabhupada says, false religion creates rejection of religion, and we see that all the time.

At the same time, I wish them well. If people can come to Krishna through them, it is better than not coming to Krishna at all. Oftentimes people come through other platforms, and then later they find out about our sites and etc. They are bringing customers to us.

PODCAST: The Hare Krishnas In Britain - Episode 35 - Friday 15th April

"I lost my heart in Glastonbury"

We're pleased to welcome Tirthanatha das as the guest on this week's podcast.
It's another record-breaking episode with Tirthanatha being the first ever guest from the Nityananda Parivar (family) to appear on the show.

Tirthanatha is one of the driving forces behind the new Hare Krishna temple in Glastonbury. After serving in ISKCON for 40 years, running small groups in the north of England and serving swamis, he "lost his heart in Glastonbury" in 2019 when he met his spiritual guide, Sri Raman Bihari dasa Babaji.

On this week's episode we'll talk about the new temple, Sri Gour Krpa Dham, and the plans for the future. Check out their Facebook page:

Tirthanatha is also a strong advocate for greater links between Maths in the Gaudiya Vaishnava family and runs the 'Vaishnavas United' Facebook group:
