Then he says that the biggest ISKCON program i.e. Alachua is mainly the geriatric set (old people) because they are not bringing in hardly many young people. And these older people sector are managing just about everything else around ISKCON worldwide, and they are all dying off one by one.
And they are having a hard time finding new people to replace the older ones. So it is a crisis. Well yes and no. The Gaudiya Matha also became large empty temples with hardly any people, and the people there were almost all old. And we asked Srila Prabhupada about these few old men in their temples. And he told us: these old people chased out all the other devotees to take over the buildings. And now these old Gaudiya Math people are "fighting over who gets a room in the temple." ISKCON simply did the same thing.
The Gaudiya Math created their own devastation, and we did the same thing, our senior leaders drove out the God brothers and then made empty temples. Then they got some Hindus to give donations for "showing the deity."
We are simply doing the same thing. It is ironic that people like BVKS went to India after burning down the preaching in the West with their pedophile messiah's program, now he starts talking about solutions. There is no solution to "fix" a pedophile guru process, it has to be rejected and we need to move forward with the right process.
BVKS is a prime example of preaching in India while complaining, we cannot attract Westerners. Westerners are too intelligent, they will never worship an illicit sex with men, women and children guru process. That is why they are "not coming." And they never will. Human beings want to worship spiritual masters who are actually bona fide, and they do not want to worship falling down human beings, who are less advanced than they are already.
Why would I want worship the village drunk, if I am an ordinary man already? That means I would be worshiping someone less advanced than myself? This will never work. We need to give people someone who is bona fide, and if we give them people who are illicit sex, drunkards, drug addicts, homosexuals, pedophiles, and murder orchestrating criminals as their gurus, they will never be attracted. BVKS is with the so-called Hindu Bindu program, while complaining, it does not work. Well yup. He is arguing with his own shadow.
And now ex-Makhanlal (now Bhakti Madhurya) is evidently paralyzed, so one by one by one these senior elders are dropping away, and we have empty temples with a showing the deity business to -- the Hindus. Gaudiya Math pt. II.

PADA: Yes, Bhakti Vikas swami just gave a lecture that ISKCON is barely attracting new Western people and it is catering mainly to the Hindus. And BVKS admits he is part of that process because he stays mostly in India.

Srila Prabhupada told us -- few old men left, empty temples, and they are the ones who took over the property and made a deity showing business.
So now more of ISKCON is making Ganesh, Lord Shiva, Durga and other types of poojas in various temples, Hindu weddings, funerals and car blessings, and they even advertised a Bhagavat Sapta guy. It is all about showing the deity business, even Bhakti Vikas swami is pretty much saying that himself. Of course it is better to worship Ganesh than the GBC's deviant acharyas, so that is probably an improvement. ys pd
M Dasi: We all need to preach. And 'preach' that gurus are fools ... whose followers are trying to look up my dress. As they have done when I go up the stairs. What kind of preaching is that? And they did not even care ... when I reported the skirt watching.
ReplyDeleteThese people have no idea what preaching means. They want everyone to 'preach' that guru parampara means sex attachments ... then wonders why there are cases of illicit sex ... broke down marriages ... child molesting. And skirt watching.
We know how that happens, it is their bad preaching.
We need to preach what Srila Prabhupada preaches. And he says it is 'guru apradh' ... to say gurus are fallen ordinary people. This is cart before horse. First ... preach right things. Then preaching to others comes ... naturally.
Everyone was preaching the right thing ... and young people were coming. As soon as they began preaching ... the wrong thing ... the young people left. Who would blame them?
And if there are 'gurus' where children are molested in their schools ... these same children will grow up to leave that religion. Means ... the religion has already died and is in the dead graveyard. Religion that kills enthusiasm of their young children is already dead. Then it will be ... every day smaller group of old people ... dying off. It is dead.
At least Bhakti Vikas tries to revive the dead ISKCON horse. More progress than his guru friends. But he does not understand ... they beat the horse to death. It will not 'revive' ... unless the people who beat ISKCON to death are changed. He wants to change the bandage on a cancer patient ... but the patient needs much more than a bandage ...
At least he knows ... this is a big disaster. He does not know ... he helped cause this ... by being part of the bogus people. Most of the rest do not care at all. Soul - less people. At least he is caring to some point. Too little too late?
LD: Srila Prabhupada says ... a person in ignorance mistakes ordinary man as saintly man ... and saintly man as an ordinary man. He also says ... we either think of Krishna ... or we think of sex.
ReplyDeleteAnd Bhakti Vikas swami thinks people who are thinking of sex are thinking of Krishna. And they are Krishna's gurus. He is in ignorance.
He is a sahajiya ... if we could call it that at least. And Srila Prabhupada says the sahajiyas are dragging people down to hell. A person who is thinking of sex is not thinking about Krishna. Even the ordinary religion man knows that. Now he is in India ... hiding out ... after promoting sex addict and gurus. They burnt down ISKCON and then hide over in India.
I was angry ... but now only feel very sorry for them. They burned up their guru's house and think they can hide from the reactions. But Krishna's laws are very strict. A person who thinks ... thinking of sex is thinking of Krishna ... is an offender. And will be punished severely for that ... especially ... if he is preaching that to the innocent. So many times Srila Prabhupada says these sahajiyas are gliding to hell. And they are. No one is allowed to say ... thinking of sex is a guru who is thinking of Krishna ... they are the worst ... because they mislead the innocent. Anyone who misleads the innocent to fall into hell ... has to go there too. Then again ... good riddance ... will be what many say. We sometimes wonder how some living entities get very painful and suffering births ... this is why ... they made these kind of offenses. Thinking of sex is not guru ... everyone in ISKCON should know that already if they are sincere students.

Point is that ISKCON leaders have become Vedantists, "scholars of Vaishnavism". They even acquire doctor titles like HH Krishna-Ksetra Swami who meanwhile has three doctor titles in front of his name. This is their understanding of spiritual achievement. Put titles in front of their names, especially "Srila". However, there is no more transcendental ecstasy, no real spiritual bliss. That's why no Westerners are joining. Westerners figure that "the happiness of an ISKCON sannyasi is just like mine. Why should I do what he says?". When Prabhupada lectured people saw that a) Prabhupada is teaching Vaishnava philosophy but they also noticed b) transcendental ecstasy. That's why people joined because they saw there is real happiness. ISKCON leaders are surely Vedantists, always looking for new stories and interesting statements in vedic literature. But because they are not in the line of Prabhupada they are not connected to genuine bhakti-rasa, ruci, Krishna-sakti, bhava, transcendental happiness. They are disconnected from our parampara lineage so to speak. And what is this Hinduization, actually this has nothing to do with bhakti-yoga, Hindus joining to improve their material condition. This also explains why many gurus recruit now in 3rd world countries — they recruit poor people who want to improve their material situation. So this is the intelligence of ISKCON leaders, to create cheap followers and: "We make more devotees than Prabhupada". Self-aggrandizement.
