The Nepal Police have arrested an operator of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in Budhanilkantha Municipality-5 for a case related to a child sexual abuse incident.

ISKCON member Suraj Krishna Shrestha is in police custody for investigation into child-related offences, said SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, spokesperson for the District Police Range Kathmandu, told The Himalayan Times.

He confirmed that Suraj Krishna Shrestha is in custody for an offence under the Children's Act. The case is still being investigated, and according to police, there is only one complaint and no multiple charges at this time.

"He is in our custody," said Bhattarai. "He has been arrested in connection with an offence under the Children's Act. It is under investigation," he said regarding the status of the case, adding, "There are no multiple charges."

SP Bhattarai further said, "There is one complaint, and the investigation is being carried out on that complaint." When asked about reports of a rape allegation, the officer said, "That is not the case. Shrestha has been taken in for investigation over an offence under that Act." He also stated that the arrest took place around four days ago.

Meanwhile, a series of shocking criminal complaints filed at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, have exposed an institutional nightmare of extreme physical torture and sexual exploitation of minor children at the Bhaktivedanta Gurukul run by International Society for Krishna Consciousness in Budhanilkantha.

Official case files reviewed by The Himalayan Times expose an internal conspiracy involving high-level institutional threats, destruction of evidence and manipulation, revealing systemic brutality against a five-year-old boy and multi-year sexual abuse of a young girl.

The victim's relative has lodged an official complaint, claiming that the operator of the Gurukul, Suraj Krishna Shrestha, has terrorised the relative's minor son from April 2023 to January 2024. The child endured repeated, horrific physical punishments. Shrestha systematically tortured the five-year-old, forcing him into painful stress positions and hanging him upside down with sharp iron pins piercing his thighs, calves and soles of his feet.

Other instances of psychological and physical terror involved pressing the child's chest against iron railings and dragging him repeatedly in front of an aggressive bull inside the compound while the administrators threatened to let the animal attack him, one of the victim's relatives told The Himalayan Times.

"The boy was also made to do forced labour, made to wash heavy institutional dishes and starved for seven days in a row on a punitive diet of dry beaten rice (chiura) only, which resulted in severe malnutrition and emergency hospitalisation," the relative told THT.

As per details mentioned in the complaint, the minor was forced to sleep next to communal toilets during an institutional trip to Vrindavan, India, and was brutally beaten for not washing heavy blankets. "The child was removed from the facility in a state of severe trauma and physical deterioration," one of the relatives confirmed.

PADA: OK so this same child cruelty stuff was reported going on in Vrndavana in the 1980s, and evidently -- still is now. That is what PADA has been saying, as long as the same managerial structure is in place, nothing will change. If anything, it looks like it could be getting worse.   

Moreover, the documents obtained by THT revealed that another investigation is underway concerning long-term child sexual abuse of their daughter at the same facility. As per the complaint, the main accused, 19-year-old Ishwar Shrestha, used his position in the Gurukul to repeatedly assault the victim between August 2021 and September 2022.

The detailed formal complaint said the victim was given a "bad touch" inside the kitchen of the institution, pinned down and forcibly kissed inside the main temple hall and repeatedly violated on the rooftop of the building. The constant abuse caused serious behavioural degradation in the minor, who began to have unprovoked crying fits and deep depression. The girl eventually confessed the trauma to a teacher, who alerted the family.

PADA: We heard reports of this same thing from other cases, terrorizing the victims not to speak up -- threatening harm to victims, or parents of victims etc.

Following the teacher's information, the victim's family and relatives decided to pursue legal action. The victim's relatives told THT that the girl is traumatised as a result of abuse and is recovering from a severe psychological impact.

"I do not know whether my child is ever going to recover from this," one of the parents said. The accused Ishwar Shrestha has since gone underground and is believed to be hiding in the ISKCON temple chain in Mathura, India, sources said.

PADA: Oh great, the perp was moved from one ISKCON temple to another to "hide from the authorities." That means ISKCON is evidently involved in moving perps, which has happened already. A Satsvarupa disciple said one of the perps at SDG's school had ALREADY been molesting in another zone, and he was moved to SDG's zone with no alarm sent to the SDG teachers from the previous zone. 

And he left SDG's zone with no alerts sent to the temple he moved to. It is like giving these perp guys free license to roam around and cuddle up -- with children in another zone.

The case files also show a concerted effort by the leadership of ISKCON Nepal to 'cover up' the crimes. A total of 13 high-profile individuals - including ISKCON Budhanilkantha President Sabin Regmi and operators Suraj Krishna Shrestha and Devina Shakha - have been formally named as co-conspirators in a plot to bury the allegations.

PADA: What about Mahavishnu swami, the head leader of the zone? I forgot, he was promoting the pedophile messiah's program in the West, and it bankrupted ISKCON in the USA. And he has moved shop over to Nepal and other "second and third world" places.

The institutional resistance escalated into outright lawlessness on April 22, 2026 (2083/01/09 BS). An independent internal body, the ISKCON Child Protection Oversight Committee, came to Kathmandu to investigate. A hostile mob of 30 to 34 people, led directly by Suraj Krishna Shrestha and Devina Shakha, raided the flat of the investigators at the Buigal Bagan Apartments.

The mob beat up the investigation team and threatened to kill them. They forcibly deleted electronic evidence from their laptops and mobile phones. The principal of the Gurukul surrendered himself and, in police interrogation, initially admitted to these crimes, but the victims' families have expressed deep alarm over a massive institutional cover-up.

PADA: OK so the investigators were beaten up and threatened with death. And they had their electronic devices seized. Hey like they beat up and threatened, and even killed, our people over when we exposed their molesting project. 

The offenders have massive financial resources and high-level influence, and they have hired a team of defence lawyers who are actively manipulating the case, as per victim relatives.

PADA: Ok they always lawyer up. "The offenders have massive financial resources" and they hired a team of defense lawyers. Wow, same thing they did in the USA, hired big time law firms to defend the molester messiah's project. 

Someone told me -- poor ISKCON legal team guy Mrgendra has been sent out on missions to defend the molester messiah's project's BBT rights. And he was sort of originally sincerely trying to help ISKCON, but once it morphed into the molester messiah's program, he was sort of stuck there with that lot. He probably would like to get himself out of there, but he has made his bed with them and cannot free himself. 

Sura told me the same type thing, he hates the GBC, he agrees -- there is for sure a lot of child molesting -- and he personally would not send ANY child EVER to their program, but -- they pay his rent and give him subsistence money. So he has to go along with their process. 

That is very sad, I feel sorry for those guys. They are serving Kamsa's empire, knowingly or not, OK at this stage they probably know it, but he is their paymaster. In any case, this is what happens, they orchestrate God awful things and then --lawyer up to defend their regime. And then all the perps, their thug defenders, the defense lawyers etc. are implicated in the karma of supporting the regime, and that karma will be severe. 

OK the karma is catching up. 

"In a bizarre legal manoeuvre, defence counsel falsely claimed in court that the Gurukul had shut down four to five years ago, completely ignoring concrete evidence that the school is still operational," the victims' relatives told THT.

PADA: OK first lie, then lie again, then cheat and cheat, and then bully people when all that fails. So this Mahavishnu guy floats around with a clown hat and clowns around like everything is some sort of comedy show. But if we cross his program, the knives come out, go get the dissenters. The investigators get beat up, have their phone devices seized, they get death threats etc. 

And did I forget to mention someone said Mahavishnu had Nepal boys sent to Mayapur and they got abused there. And he was thus "engaged in human trafficking." I dunno, but we do know the track record of their program is not good. 

Sulochana said these ISKCON leader guys come across as all smiles and lovey dovey, but if we cross them, we will get beat up -- or killed. He said the ISKCON leaders are "the velvet glove that covers the iron fist." 

But this is good news, get the police and media involved, and shake them down. That is the best -- if not only -- way that works factually. Of course as soon as anyone takes their sacred molester messiahs program to task, then we have GBC folks and their HKC Jaipur aliied guys crying that their molester messiahs program leaders will no longer have money for their Mercedes. 

Sorry, we need to take this operation down, it is harming children, sometimes -- or often -- with irreparable LIFETIME damage. It needs to be stopped. Pronto! Honestly, I am always amazed it is still going on at all. None of these leader guys has learned anything in all this time, and the followers often have become fanatical die hard supporters. This is a DANGEROUS cult.

JPS ex-Servant

My name is Aniruddha Chandra Das and I was initiated by Jayapataka Swami in
1986. From 1990 to 1995 I was his assistant and bodyguard, I traveled with him all over the world while my family lived in Mayapur. In all those years I witnessed
the same things that Prem Sagar das mentioned in his letter, and that is why I
agree with him.

When I traveled with JPS to Dallas in 1994, the wife of the temple commander of that temple, who collected hundreds of thousands of dollars for her guru, Tamal Krishna Gosvami, and who had their children in that city's gurukula, presented JPS with a folder with a detailed report on the abuses suffered by her children there.

First, her first son was abused, and she reported this to her guru, who told her that he was going to take care of the matter and sent her to travel to continue collecting. When she returned, she found out that her first child had been abused again and that the second had also been abused. She told JPS all the details in front of me and handed him a folder containing the full report on both cases.

JPS gave me that folder, and in Mayapur he asked me to file it in a cabinet in his office In other words nothing was done about it. The only one who read the content of that folder was me and that is why I can confirm to what had happened No GBC or authority had access to that information.

On another occasion, when the gurukulis had sued ISKCON for millions of dollars for the abuse case, JPS was upset and complained that why should they give anything to them if he and other GBCs had not done any direct abuse to them, in fact they should the abusers directly not the GBC.

At that time I gave my life for him and as his bodyguard in Mayapur I carried a 38-caliber pistol. One day, speaking directly about this matter, he told me that if anything happened, that if I even used the gun to defend him, he would say that he knew nothing about it as a result would be leaving me at the mercy of whatever could happen to me. 

It was that moment that I realized, I thought that for years I had been giving my life for this person who told me that I would have to take care of myself, I would have to face the consequences by Indian Law if I ever use the gun in order to protect JPS.

Decoding Karma

Dhritrastra and the Karma That Awaited Him

After the Kurukshetra war ended, the palace of Hastinapura was filled with unbearable silence. The battlefield had become quiet, the conches had stopped, and the warriors who once shook the earth were gone. But the greatest sorrow was inside the heart of one old king: Dhritrastra.

He had been blind from birth, but now his life had entered a darkness far deeper than physical blindness. His hundred sons were dead. Duryodhana, Dushasana, and all the sons whom he had loved, protected, excused, and favoured were gone forever. The king who once sat on the throne of Hastinapura now sat helpless, broken by grief.

In that terrible pain, Dhritrastra turned to Krishna and asked, “Why has this happened to me? I know I have made mistakes. I know I was attached to my sons. But what terrible sin have I committed that I should be born blind and then lose all my hundred sons?”

Krishna, who knows the past, present, and future, did not answer to wound him. He answered to awaken him. With compassion, Krishna revealed the truth of his past karma.

He told Dhritrastra, “Fifty births ago, you were a hunter. One day, in the forest, you saw a tree where many birds lived with their young ones. Out of cruelty, you threw a burning net over that tree. The helpless baby birds were trapped in the flames and died. The parent birds managed to escape, but the heat of the fire blinded them. They flew away crying, unable to see, unable to save their children, carrying unbearable pain in their hearts.”

When Dhritrastra heard this, he trembled. The suffering he had caused to those innocent birds had returned to him. Because the parent birds were blinded, he was born blind. Because the young birds were burnt and destroyed, he had to experience the loss of his own hundred sons.

But Dhritrastra had another question. “Krishna, if I committed this sin fifty births ago, why did the reaction come only now? Why did it not punish me in that life itself? Why did it wait for so long?”

Krishna explained the subtle working of karma. To suffer the pain of losing one hundred sons, Dhritrastra first needed the good karma to receive one hundred sons. That sinful reaction could not fully manifest until the proper condition was created. Over many births, he accumulated enough pious merit to be born as a king and become the father of one hundred sons. Only then did the old karma ripen and strike.

This is the frightening precision of karma. It may wait, but it does not forget. It may remain silent, but it does not disappear. It may sleep for one birth, ten births, or fifty births, but when the right time comes, it awakens.

In the laws of this world, a person may sometimes escape. A criminal may find a loophole. A clever person may hide evidence. A powerful person may avoid punishment. Human law can be delayed, manipulated, or even defeated. But the law of karma cannot be cheated. There is no bribing it, no hiding from it, no technical escape, no clever argument, and no secret place where one can run. The witness is within the heart, and nature records every action.

This is why karma is not ordinary justice. It is divine arrangement working through material nature. Every action becomes a seed. Every seed waits for the right season. Good karma brings its own fruit, and bad karma brings its own fruit. One does not simply cancel the other. Dhritrastra’s good karma gave him kingship and one hundred sons. His bad karma brought blindness and the pain of losing them.

This story should not make us hopeless. It should make us careful. No cruelty is small. No pain caused to the helpless is forgotten. No selfish action vanishes just because time has passed. But the same truth also gives hope. No prayer is lost. No service is wasted. No sincere chanting of Krishna’s holy names disappears.
Dhritrastra’s tears teach us that karma may be delayed, but there is no escaping it by material means. The only real shelter is not cleverness, power, position, or argument. The only shelter beyond karma is surrender to Krishna.
