ISKCON Italy Scandals Update 10 14 25

 

PADA: I cannot understand why ISKCON has banned the followers of BV Puri from participating -- citing that BV Puri was hi-jacking ISKCON followers -- and then Dayanidhi openly attacks anyone who criticizes the Gaudiya Matha guru BV Puri, evidently he is still in the BV Puri camp. Meanwhile he seems to also be part of the ISKCON camp? 

This seems to happen a lot. The GBC decrees that followers of Sridhara, Narayan, BV Puri and others are not allowed in ISKCON, but the followers somehow or other seem to be able to infiltrate back in again. And unfortunately, a lot of child abuse regime leaders and sometimes even perps are allowed to roam around ISKCON, and in a number of cases they were never banned or censured in the first place. 

Anyway, here we go again, lots of manipulation seems to be going on in an around the ISKCON situation, because -- self evidently -- the leaders are not able to clean up other people's mess because they are incompetent, or colluding with other evil actors. 

I recall when some competing Narayan Maharaja camp followers were calling the police on each other for welfare and food stamp fraud. And the police came and said, "You people all hate each other's guts, you should all avoid one another and never see or talk to each other. Move away from one another and avoid ever talking to each other because -- you are hateful people." Yep, even the police could figure this out. 

Anyway, it looks like the Italy scandals problem is gradually getting uncovered, as are scandals in many other places. This is good news and bad news. Good, the boil needs to be popped, bad, this discourages regular Joe people from participating in the whole religion. I see now why Srila Prabhupada says the false followers are going to a lower birth than the regular Joe karmi, because they make religion into a cesspool, and give Krishna's name a black eye.

The Cursed Temple of Tribogna and Malini Devi Dasi of Satvatove

Concerns from America

Some of our colleagues have reached out from the United States, alarmed by what is happening in the Italian Yatra in Liguria. Before diving into the details, it is necessary to provide a brief introduction.

Owner of the Tribogna Temple

The temple of Tribogna (Genoa), the so-called Prabhupada Dham I.S.K.CON., is owned by the Turin-born Govardhanapuja Prabhu, nicknamed “Massimo Boldi” (bottom right in the photo). A man who has been posing as a brahmachari for over thirty years, yet is an openly homosexual individual with a fondness for very young boys. His excessive wealth makes him untouchable in the eyes of devotees, who bow to him not out of spiritual respect but greed. 

They all know he regularly hands out thousands of euros left and right, especially to the most corrupt temples such as Villa Vrindavana. His figure is the caricature of a spiritual philanthropist: money tainted by vice, paraded as devotion. 

The Dayanidhi Vanacari Fraud

Less than ten years ago, this “benefactor” was conned like the most naïve fool by Orlando Cecchini, alias Dayanidhi Vanacari (top right in the photo), one of the most infamous swindlers in the history of the Hare Krishna movement in Italy. He competes only with the parasite Pietro Giarola, alias Prabhu Das. Dayanidhi extracted around €200,000 from him with the tale that he would buy the current Prabhupada Dham temple on behalf of ISKCON Italy, promising the money would be returned. 

A crude lie. Govardhana never saw a cent, neither from Dayanidhi nor from his worthy accomplice Prabhu Das, with whom Dayanidhi has now shamelessly reconciled. In the end, to avoid losing everything, Govardhana had the property retitled in his name again, paying another €20,000. A complete farce.

Intrigue and Violence in Tribogna

That temple soon became a foul sewer of intrigues, plots, and low blows against the mafia-style figure of Massimo Brioli, alias Madhusevita Prabhu, the Italian GBC head – but we’ll return to that later.

The Israeli Danesvari and her husband Francesco Brambilla, alias Gopinatha Dasa, nicknamed “Homer Simpson,” ran the place like a dive bar, to the point that two years ago local authorities had to intervene to break up a brawl between resident devotees. The devotee Mangalai grabbed Muraricaitanya Dasa by the neck, causing bruises, scratches, torn shirts, and even damaged cars. A miserable, disgraceful spectacle. Later, the violent Claudio Scatolini, alias Keshava Das, punched another devotee in front of the elder Mahachandra Das. Is this supposed to be a spiritual centre?

Murari and Dayanidhi’s Debts and Scandals

Murari was recalled to India by his guru Jayapataka Maharaj, but he left behind only ruins and about six thousand euros in unpaid debts. His predecessor Dayanidhi remains the mark of misfortune. Everywhere he goes, he leaves behind wreckage and scandal. He opened several temples in Liguria: all failed, all closed. 

His private life was a disaster – his wife Nandimukhi left him because she had already started an affair with their son’s teacher. And worse: eyewitnesses saw him slapping his wife in front of other devotees. In our previous articles we reported the horror of the cigarette lighter burns inflicted on the then little Sanaka Rsi (manager of the page Vedic Enquirer). Violent, deceitful, and a serial liar. This is Dayanidhi Vanacari.

Abuse and Exile

Not content with having extorted hundreds of thousands of euros from Govardhanapuja, Dayanidhi scammed other devotees with false promises. He squeezed €15,000 from Gopinath and Danesvari, never returning a cent. In 2020, after his advances towards a foreign female devotee visiting the temple, whom he harassed with perverted behaviour, Madhusevita banished him to Athens. It was Danesvari herself who reported his actions to Madhusevita by phone, revealing that the “monk” was no longer able to control himself.

Construction Debts and Corruption

His miserable reputation hit rock bottom with the case of foreman Mauro: 

construction work already discounted to €10,000 but never paid. Only Nitai, son of Madhusevita, stepped in to represent his father (who should have acted on behalf of ISKCON) and settled for €6,000 to avoid a lawsuit. Then came an illegal building addition: during a municipal inspection, a door built without a permit was discovered, installed by Dayanidhi as a personal whim. 

A pompous clown who dragged the public image of ISKCON Italy through the mud. Many also remember how nearly forty years ago he fled with the temple’s cash box from Padua, amounting to 180 million lire, along with his wife and his servant Silvano.

Prabhu Das and the Plot Twist

After this disgrace came Prabhu Das, the scavenger who leaves debt and destruction wherever he goes. In Tribogna he did the same: disappeared like a petty street thief, leaving only wreckage behind.

The Triumphant Return of Dayanidhi

But the real twist is that Dayanidhi, despite everything, continues to return triumphantly as if nothing happened. Welcoming him with open arms is Maurizio Pace, alias Mahachandra, nicknamed “Topo Gigio.” The same man who for years had called him “a psychopath” now treats him like a brother. Mahachandra himself is a criminal who served four years in prison for heroin trafficking. This is the level of so-called spiritual leaders of Prabhupada Dham – a circus of criminals and hypocrites disguised as devotees.

Malini Devi Dasi: the Spiritual Manipulator

The worst came with the arrival of Marie-Hélène Glasheen (bottom left in the photo), alias Malini Devi Dasi, invited to manage the temple by Gopinatha, Danesvari, and Govardhanapuja. Nicknamed “the witch,” she prefers to be called “prabhu” to blur gender distinction and give herself an air of authority. 

Her reputation as a manipulator and spiritual predator precedes her: in Florida, she left a trail of scandals and misconduct. Fleeing from America, she chose Italy as her new field to poison, settling in Tribogna with American disciples completely brainwashed (between them there is Ananga Manjari, initiated through the "Permanent Link" system, who was spiritually trained precisely at Satvatove). Our American contacts warned us: Malini is not there to serve Krishna but to carry out a dark agenda, exploiting the complicity of the corrupt.

Satvatove and Lifespring

Together with David Wolf, Malini is co-founder of Satvatove (Alachua, Florida), a provider of “transformative communication” and coaching. Behind the spiritual façade, dozens of testimonies speak of manipulation, hard-sell pressure, and emotional exploitation. Satvatove is seen as Lifespring disguised as Hare Krishna – an insult to Srila Prabhupada. American commentators state it clearly: David and Marie are monsters who use the name of Krishna to enrich themselves and destroy lives. The same Malini, now transplanted to Tribogna, brings that toxic shadow into the heart of the Italian Yatra.

The link with Lifespring is not a minor detail. Lifespring was a notorious LGAT (Large Group Awareness Training) engulfed in lawsuits, media investigations, and even deaths during seminars. In the United States, it became a symbol of psychological manipulation and mental pressure techniques disguised as “personal growth.” Despite this, it is David Wolf himself who openly admits on Satvatove’s official blog that he imported the concepts directly from Lifespring:

– Mandatory arbitration: victims cannot sue in court

The Double Game of the Prominent Link

Behind Satvatove lies an even more insidious and poisonous theological and strategic project: the Prominent Link, devised by David Wolf, aka Dhira Govinda. They do not declare themselves as ritviks, but only out of convenience: they know perfectly well that, if they did, they would be expelled from every ISKCON temple and lose access to donations and facilities. 

They therefore remain inside, feigning devotion, while secretly implanting a network of corrupt ideology, suspended between opportunism and heresy, poised to undermine the system of living gurus from within.

As early as 2002, the GBC issued an official condemnation of Wolf’s book “Śrīla Prabhupāda: The Prominent Link”, accusing him of attacking the principle of living gurus and spreading dangerous, misleading theology. Despite this warning, Wolf and Malini have continued their systematic infiltration, moving from ISKCON temple to temple, weaving networks of influence like ruthless spiritual predators.

In 2016, in Alachua, Malini took part in a fully ritvik-style initiation, personally placing the neckbeads on a initiate (Hladini-śakti), a symbolic act that exposed their true agenda: a spiritual shortcut disguised as devotion, designed to remain inside ISKCON and “take what can be taken,” while quietly promoting an ambiguous, corrosive, and deceptive cult.

They are neither reformers nor ritviks: they are spiritual predators in the grey zone, able to infiltrate, manipulate, exploit, and drain vitality from both sides. Their network is built on calculated hypocrisy, subtle lies, and strategies of control, where bhakti becomes a commodity and sincerity a hurdle to be destroyed.

Malini Devi Dasi has never truly left Satvatove: her Facebook profile states that her role ended in 2021, yet in 2024–2025 she is still presented as a speaker for “Advanced” seminars, continuing to give lectures and public talks within the Satvatove project, even if she no longer holds an official leadership position. It’s merely a clever attempt to avoid the looming legal storm.

Two personal GoFundMe campaigns – one for her birthday and another to support her Bhakti Yoga Retreat project – solicit money for herself and her centre, while Satvatove courses remain paid events. The so-called “Virtual Bhakti Yoga for Women” is part of her Bhakti Yoga Retreat project, an online ashram with no independent reviews, no safeguarding policy, and no grievance channels. Total internal control, zero external guarantees: the same Satvatove logic, but even less transparent.

Conclusion

In short, this Malini Devi Dasi “prabhu,” now financially supported by the devotees of Genoa, is yet another plague that has fallen upon the Italian Yatra, already devastated by scandals, illegality, abuse, and corruption. Behind her façade as a “spiritual trainer,” she carries a technology of manipulation derived from Lifespring, with the same toxicity and legal traps. The image of Srila Prabhupada and bhakti has been defiled beyond repair. Tribogna is not a temple: it is a cesspit of violence, greed, and betrayal. A living insult to Srila Prabhupada’s mission. Whoever enters that place will not meet Krishna, only the ghosts of lies, corruption, and manipulation.
