ISKCON Gurukula Abuse (VIDEO)

PADA: Me, and my various friends from the police, FBI, media and courts are always baffled. Why was this all this horrible abuse going on for years, maybe decades, yet none of this was ever reported to the police? 

Why didn't the parents at the very least stage a public protest in front of their temples? Why was nothing done? And that made the victims feel -- all the more -- like they are worthless, unwanted progeny (varna sankara) which multiplied their grief. And that has resulted in trauma and -- sometimes -- suicides. 

I get it -- how the victims could come to that stage of deep depression. The victims have just not had a voice, or advocates / defenders giving them a voice. Very baffling. 

Of course I always get a small taste of the repression they experienced -- because by me acting as their advocate -- this has caused me to be banned, beaten, threatened, and my friends were taken to their graves. I would have been taken out without help from the FBI. It is a conspiracy of silence? Well not exactly, it is a conspiracy of ENFORCED silence. Be silent, or else! But it was due to the collective silence that all of this was allowed to happen.

PADA: Right. When Kulashekhara dasa challenged the GBC's guru process at Bhakti Tirtha's temple, he was attacked by a BTS "temple enforcer." Kulashekhar told me the enforcer broke his bones and fractured his skull. He spent 3 months in hospital. After that he had to take pain medications for the rest of his life -- because he was in constant pain. There is psychological trauma, and in some cases, physical trauma. Kulashekhara was one of the first disciples of Prabhupada made in the UK and he was my personal friend. He died somewhat prematurely, possibly as a result of his previous injuries. An FBI agent recently revealed that I was on a "hit list" and the only reason I survived is, the FBI told the local police to intercept their 3 hit men, otherwise I would not be here either. ys pd
