PADA: Looks like Kalakantha and his crew. We will get more details in time. Some of them are heading into the Female Diksha Guru program full steam ahead. Actually only certain sectors of ISKCON will be doing that, there are other sectors that disagree. It is more splintering into factions. Conditioned souls cannot absorb the sins of another conditioned soul, "male or female conditioned soul" is not the real issue. ys pd]

ReplyDeleteThe male leaders have destroyed Prabhupada's mission so badly that they actually have no right to say anything about female Vaishnavi etiquette. The ritviks split into hundreds of fractions. The "male-guru" performance was/is catastrophic, to say the least. Devastating. In Europe, ISKCON has not only lost the status of being an "authorized spiritual movement" it is rather considered similar to an extremist group. Same category like Guru Maharaji, Satya Sai Baba, Mahesh Yogi, Osho, Ramakrishna Mission. Fifty fallen gurus so far, ten thousand ex-disciples who demand from their local governments free psychological treatment when having their lives spoiled by false GBC gurus and permanently living on social benefits. Practically ex-disciples turned into a mental wreck after coming into contact with a GBC "guru". Additionally, 125 fallen sannyasis and hundreds of male TPs ran off with trunks of temple Laxmi. So male devotees who know ISKCON history in toto can only keep their mouth shut and better don't talk -- when it comes to female gurus.
[PADA: Well yup, more women are now saying "even we can to a better job than this joint mess," hee hee. Maybe so. Unfortunately, being a guru is not something where we are "better at" or -- "doing a better job than" others. It is person who is in contact with God. It is not being done better or not better, it is absolute. The idea of guru is now watered down substantially. ys pd
