Hare Krishna, Radhe Radhe, Namaste

My name is Naveen Krishna Das. I am from Vrindavan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. I am a devotee of Lord Krishna and so is my family. My family desperately needs your help.

Due to COVID19 situation here in Vrindavan city is totally deserted and isolated, no tourists , no visitors , jobs are lost and my family is the worst affected with this situation here in Vrindavan. I request you to help me and my family with a little donation from your side so that we can sustain here. We do not have any other resources for surviving.

Let me know if it is possible from you .

Sincerely
Naveen Krishna Das

[PADA: It is somewhat distressing that the India government seems to have little ability to take care of many of these types of citizens, even residents of their holy places. There are many bhaktas and bhaktins who are in a dire situation due to the virus problem, and there seems to be no coordinated effort to address these suffering folks. Of course organizing anything in India is a struggle, I'll grant that.

ISKCON should have had some sort of big food relief program going on by this time in India, but there seems to be little of that happening. Instead, they have been having big meetings trying to decide if some of their very elderly ladies should be worshiped as the new messiahs of ISKCON as their diksha gurus.

OK these elderly ladies will be the next living gurus, but "living" for how long? Yep, when I have one foot in the grave, make me the next living messiah of the Jagat! That will fix things!

Anyway, I have no way to check to see if this person is really a resident there or what his story is for sure, but we have had reports that many other citizens there are suffering so -- it is quite feasible this person is among them. If someone wanted to help this fellow, that would be nice and please send us details of how that works out.

There does seem to be some sort of collective karma coming down the pipeline all over the world at this stage, with people losing their jobs and incomes all over the place. Even in the USA there is a huge amount of unemployed people who cannot pay their rent and they are relying on food banks for their food. The struggle for existence has just got another new layer of struggle added to it. No doubt this is due to the collective sinful behaviors of the citizens and the reactions are starting to pour in.

And the movement that was meant to save the world from all sorts of calamity, namely Lord Chaitanya's harinama samkirtana movement, has been hijacked and contaminated. That will accelerate the sinful reactions and subsequent calamities. In any event, all of this should encourage us to really seriously take shelter of Krishna's lotus feet, we should see clearly at this stage that there is no other shelter, and that is becoming more self evident every single day. ys pd]
