=================
MY KARMA WAS TOO BAD FOR ISKCON GURUS
A DASI (On Namarasa Video):
Want to explain why I brought up ritvik in Live chat. My spouse and I had a guru within ISKCON, but he kept putting off my initiation. Granted, I was quite messy emotionally, but clearly sincere, as I stayed in strict ISKCON Temples for 5 years.
I believe he was afraid to absorb some of my clearly bad karma; I notice he mostly initiates very pious Indian devotees.
PADA: Yes, many of the "pious Hindus" eat fish, mutton, perhaps even beef and so on and so forth. My lady landlord had a "Hindu boyfriend" and he ate every type of Western meat dishes -- including fish heads, beef etc. She was always cooking horrendous smelling meals.
Honestly, it made the whole house stink badly. The one Vegetarian Hindu restaurant around here I sometimes went to -- now serves meat, because the Hindus want that. But notice, the GBC gurus are sometimes afraid of taking karma from a Western person, which means they are aware they are taking karma.
The gurus seem to have no problem taking karma from Hindus, which is not always pious -- by a long shot. The Hindus running the 7-11 over here were eating some of those gross pizzas they have over there, which I personally would not feed to a dog because I would be afraid of making it get sick. But yeah, catering to the Hindus, duh!
We married in courthouse only, as a fire yajna seemed impractical due to my large family all living far away. This Swami got extremely offended by that act since we didn’t inform him of it (meanwhile he was the one who arranged we meet to see if we’d be compatible) but we saw no need as he clearly approved. When he heard I was pregnant a couple years later, he wrote in a letter to us that this was just “a biological arrangement”, in other words, not Krsna’s kind blessing.
He basically cut off any sign of affection or care towards us and was clearly bitter due to our “offense”. Not surprisingly, when I met ISKCON Revival Movement devotees (I.R.M.) who ran a Temple that was super vibrant, I gravitated to it. Knowing how this guru of ours (and his disciples / most ISKCON Temple devotees in general) felt about this group, since they practice the ritvik style of initiations, we just stopped attending ISKCON's Temple gradually.
As Deva Madhava prabhu (Harmony Collective) said, ritvik followers can get (forgot word he used) obtrusive /aggressive towards those who think you need an “in the flesh” devotee as guru.
PADA: Yes, the in the flesh gurus being produced by ISKCON are -- according to Jayadvaita swami -- often falling into illicit sex with men, women and maybe children. That is their idea of guru in the flesh.
A lady (jokingly) told PADA I should not be offensive to ISKCON's holy men. Why? They have sex with every hole in the human body, and maybe some holes in animals too. So that shows how they have equal vision and do not see ANY difference in various living entities, which shows how they are truly holey men! Yep, their gurus will have sex with anyone and any hole in the house, which is equal vision. Hee hee. But this Deva Madhava guy is upset we are not worshiping these holey men? Why should we?
But not all of us are like that. So in mid 90s anyway, there was this mood that if you followed ritvik path you are a great offender, and many were banned from serving ISKCON, which I’m sure displeased Prabhupada & Lord Krsna because I knew a couple of them and they were very sincere, and still chant & serve but on their own. Prabhupada was very broad minded and hopefully you in new generations will be also, and not ban people, unless they insist on arguing and disrupting the faith of new people, which of course is also not good.
PADA: Yeah I have told that many times by ISKCON people. You are disturbing the faith of the members of the homosexual and pedophile messiahs club! Forsooth!
Thanks for anyone who listened to my story. I truly hope it can help unite ISKCON and I.R.M. slowly but surely. Every one of us needs to humble ourselves and learn true compassion, with Krsna’s help. I have a long long road ahead but I’m still chanting and attached to hearing from Prabhupada, ~his books & talks. Pray I can develop the courage to begin rising early again! SO hard for me, after years of not doing it now. Thanks!!!
PADA: I am glad you are banned. No one should eat food offered to a homosexual and pedophile guru club, it is contaminating. ys pd

Srila Prabhupada came to the United States in 1965 on the Jaladuta, an Indian cargo ship. He convinced the owner of the shipping company, Srimati Morarji, to give him free passage. According to Sally Agarawal, the wife of Gopal Agarawal, who sponsored Srila Prabhupada's trip and made the arrangements for the first three weeks he was in the United States:
"The Swami came with so few possessions. He came with the clothes he had on his back, He had a typewriter and he had his books. And he had a bag of cereal. Imagine coming to a country on the other side of the world with so little. And yet he came with so much in himself."
The books Srila Prabhupada brought with him from India were the first three volumes of the Srimad Bhagavatam he had printed in Delhi between 1960 and 1965.
In Srila Prabhupada's letter to Hanuman Prasad Poddar, written 2-05-70 in Los Angeles, Srila Prabhupada narrates some of the history of his Delhi Bhagavatams:
".... In 1936, my Spiritual Master left this world leaving a message for me that it would be better for me to preach in English language. So I was thinking very seriously, and then, as late as 1944 I started my paper, "Back to Godhead." Gradually, in 1954, I retired from my family life and began to live alone in Mathura Vrindaban. In 1959, I was awarded Sannyasa by one of my Godbrothers.
"Then I began translating Srimad-Bhagavatam in 1960; and, perhaps in 1961, I was your guest in the Gita Bagicha. You were very kind to help me partially for publishing my first volume of Srimad-Bhagavatam through the Dalmia Charitable Trust. With great difficulty, I then published the second and third volumes of Srimad-Bhagavatam until 1965, when I prepared myself to come to this country with some books.
"With great difficulty, I was able to get the "P" Form passed by the Controller of Foreign Exchange, and, someway or other, I reached Boston on 17th September, 1965. I was thinking, while on board the ship "Jaladuta," why Krishna had brought me to this country. I knew that Western people are too much addicted to so many forbidden things according to our Vedic conception of life. So out of sentiment I wrote a long poetry addressing Lord Krishna as to what was His purpose in bringing me to this country.
"At that time, I was sponsored by a friend's son, Gopala Agarwal, who is settled up in this country by marrying an American girl, Sally. I was their guest, and I feel very much obliged to Gopala and his wife Sally for their nice treatment and reception. I was with them for three weeks in Butler, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and then I came to New York. I was getting some money by selling my Srimad-Bhagavatam, thus I was maintaining myself in New York.
After some time, I rented one apartment at number 100 71st Street West, but after a few months, all my things--typewriter, tape recorder, books--were stolen. Then for some time one of my students gave me shelter at Bowery Street.
"I then rented one store-front and an apartment at 26 Second Avenue for $200 per month, but without any source of income. I started my classes and sometimes, on Sundays, I used to chant Hare Krishna Mantra in Tomkins Square Park from three to 5 P.M. During this time, all the young boys and girls used to gather around me, sometimes poet Ginsberg would come to see me, and sometimes a reporter from the New York Times came to see me. In this way, the Hare Krishna Mantra chanting became very popular on the Lower East Side."
Until now devotees have been searching for these incredibly rare copies of the first three volumes of Srila Prabhupada's Original Delhi Srimad Bhagavatam he printed in India. They are practically impossible to find and if they should become available they are collectors items worth thousands of dollars.
The wonderful news is that a limited edition of exact replicas of those original Bhagavatam volumes Srila Prabhuapda carried with him from India to the United States in 1965 is now available.
The book is presented in exactly the same way as Srila Prabhupada himself personally printed it. As hard-bound, cloth covered 6" x 9" volumes with the beautiful original color dust jacket Srila Prabhupada designed and had an artist paint for him.
This is a strictly limited printing and as you can imagine the books are selling very fast. This three volume set of Srila Prabhupada's original Delhi Bhagavatam is truly a priceless treasure that you will keep and cherish for your whole life and will be valued by generations to come. These books are printed on the best quality paper, with the best quality binding and will last for hundreds of years.

Bhaktvtsal Das I am for everything includes Varnasrama. But when you say temple goshallas are temporary and independent programs are the ones lasting for time, that is not realistic. Temple programs continue for centuries, even thousands of years. And independent programs may or may not last.
PADA: Bhaktvtsal Das When we were in India we visited a brewery where the owner made apartments all around for the workers. And he made a temple in the center and all the workers went to the temple before work. Srila Prabhupada said -- this is ideal Vedic culture. Kris Drboy says that this program of making temples is a pyramid business. It is, one temple is making devotees and then sends some devotees to another city to make another temple.
Bangalore followed Srila Prabhupada's process here. First they made a small temple program here, which gathered some support members. Then they imported a few South India brahmanas for the pooja. Then they gathered up more and more congregation, enough to buy land for a temple and cows. Then they started Sunday schools for kids. Then they got some land where they could make a temple and have cows.
Dusyanta dasa : As this purport has progressed Srila Prabhupada reveals more and more for the FUTURE candidates to follow and become His Diksha disciples.
FISKCON has had pyschopath gurus, rapist gurus, murderer gurus, paedophile gurus, homo-sex gurus, drug gurus, alcoholic gurus, thug gurus, manipulative con man gurus, embezzler gurus, book changer gurus, mad man gurus, womaniser gurus,sex-yasi gurus, sin-yasi gurus, GBC conditioned soul factory produced rubber-stamped gurus.
