My godbrother, Badarayana prabhu had met Gunagrahi Maharaja’s brother, at Rockefeller Center. Here is an inspiring, interesting little story that he so kindly shared with me through the agency of another dear friend of mine, Jay Govinda.

Below is a message from Badarayan Prabhu regarding Gunagrahi Maharaja’s brother having received a book from B at Rockefeller Center. Nice story. Sounds like Gunagrahi Maharaja left this world in the most wonderful, auspicious way possible; in Vrndavan, surrounded by wonderful sanyasi godbrothers, amidst kirtan.... inspiring to us because although he had his personal difficulties through the years, Lord Krishna saw his sincerity and immense service, and thus freed him from suffering forevermore, bringing him back to Goloka Vrndavana forever.

PADA: First of all, Gunagrahi thought he was a reincarnation of Jesus who can absorb sins. Nope. Srila Prabhupada told us -- over and over -- repeatedly, if we neophytes absorb sins -- we will get sick, fall down or both. He said we cannot even allow people to touch our feet, or we will take karma, and we will have to suffer. Gunagrahi fell down, got sick, and got sick enough to die (cancer).

Of course a number of others also fell down, got sick and died prematurely. A neophyte is not qualified to take sins, plain and simple. Very oddly, I saw where Gunagrahi was going out of a door on crutches, wincing in a lot of pain, on his way to go somewhere. And a person runs up and -- touches his feet -- adding more karma to his overloaded situation. 

Srila Prabhupada warned us a number of times, if we take karma "we will have to suffer" and -- they are. At that time, they all knew his cancer was terminal. I am not blaming the person who touched his feet, the GBC trains them that way, just like they trained people to touch the feet of Bhakti Tirtha swami, Kadamba Kanana swami and others who suffered and died. Hansadutta, Bhagavan, Kirtanananda, Satsvarupa, Jayapataka and others have also suffered odious reactions.

It is amazing -- the more these bogus Jesus people are suffering, and badly, from taking sins, the more some of their "loving God brothers" encourage them to -- take even more sins, even when their bogus Jesus is failing in his devotional standards, or his health -- in so many ways, or even if they are dying. 

Oh yeah we need to load that guy up with EVEN more KARMA. That way he will get MORE sick, fall down MORE, and maybe -- MORE of them will die. We all see how they get sick, fall down, and die prematurely, and so we encourage them -- all the more -- to take more sins. OK that means you are helping your brothers to fall into a ditch and maybe die.

Sorry, loading these people up with karma, if not more and more karma, is not helping them in this life or the next, because they will have to take that karma load with them into the next life -- and go to hell to burn off that karma. Neither their followers are getting fully free of karma, they might give off some karma to these bogus Jesus, but the followers are still carrying a boat load of their own karma -- because they are not in a process to get freed of their sins. 

So it is a lose / lose / dead end for all involved. It amazes me that the more these bogus sin absorbing Jesus guys suffer from taking karma, the more some of their God brothers want to LOAD them up further, and add MORE and MORE KARMA to these suffering fools by having them TAKE MORE KARMA. Boo hoo! We didn't kill the guy -- yet -- so lets have him add MORE KARMA to his overwhelmed load. OK you are killing your brothers. I saw some senior devotees cheering when Jayapataka was rolled out in his wheelchair, oh yeah, he needs to take MORE KARMA. Sheesh!

I almost thought that is Bhakti Vikas in this photo! Burying them in samadhi ... is making their sins even worse. Next thing is ??? they will put Bhakti Vikas in samadhi next to Gunagrahi ... he too can join the brotherhood with pedo and porno swamis. Then the fools will be doing parikramas around their samadhis, while the people in the samadhis are dancing in hell.

PADA: Certainly Gunagrahi was very merciful and kind -- to the other members of his homosexual and pedophile messiah's club -- a program that has been banning, beating, molesting, suing and killing Vaishnavas. As for us Prabhupada folks? Umm, not so kind to us. 

Gunagrahi sided with the GBC guys who were purging us -- and our people -- out of ISKCON. And I am told he is not appreciated much in South America for making mayhem and purges down there. And as a result, South America has run off to the Gaudiya Matha and Narayan Maharaja. Gunagarhi was called "Goonda-grahi" by some of his victims.

Thank you for your beautiful rendering and offering to Gunagrahi Maharaj. I shared it with a few people. I was not fully aware of the history and found it very enlivening. We were friends but not close, there was always a sweet sense of bonding and appreciation - music, KC and the heart connection.

PADA: Yep, people keep telling me that, the original 11 bogus messiahs -- and those who are 2/3 show of hands voted into the homosexual and pedophile messiah's club -- and their supporters -- are connected in the heart, they are one team. They are all unified in promoting the homosexual and pedophile messiah's project. Some have suggested many of these swamis are -- gays.  

And other folks told me, the reason porno swami Gunagrahi got a samadhi in Vrndavana is -- the same people who made the homosexual and pedophile samadhi for Kirtanananda helped make Gunagrahi's. They are a team. I dunno, but that seems to make sense.  

A few years back before he was sick I received a call from him - out of the blue. It was the first and only ever time he called me. “Hello Badarayana, this is Gunagrahi swami”. I said, “Maharaj, to what do I owe this honor?” He said with great emotion and wonder, “Badarayana, what did you do to my brother?!?” I queried, “what do you mean?”

He proceeded to say that he’d been trying to preach to his brother for the last 35 + years to no avail. However his brother called him in great jubilation just recently to tell him that he met a devotee at Rockefeller Center in NYC (it was my humble self) and that devotee had him and his wife in stitches laughing. Then he said, “he got me to chant that mantra, and had us raising our hands in great joy while chanting. And then he gave me one of your spiritual masters books! To my surprise I’ve been reading it and am finally seeing what KC philosophy and you are all about - and it’s wonderful! It was such an amazing experience meeting this devotee - and he says he knows you!”

He wanted to call to thank me and inquire how this was possible. I said, “well, it’s Prabhupada and Krsna’s mercy of course. It’s kinda what we do and we’ve being doing it for quite some time - it’s very natural and people pick up on that.”
I felt very honored and humbled to have been an instrument that inspired an old friend and great devotee.

I pray that he shines his loving mercy upon me so that I may attain the lotus feet of Guru and Krsna as he has. I thought you’d appreciate this little anecdote.

PADA: Great. What does Charles Kirk have to do with Gunagrahi's homosexual and pedophile guru system? OK, nothing at all. I forgot, as soon as someone says they want to worship Srila Prabhupada, they are "promoting the bogus Christian ritviks idea." PADA: One of the followers of this crowd from Hawaii named Markandeya Rishi Dasa told me that Gaura Govinda Maharaja was doing a good job supporting the GBC's gurus, because "he has to stay in ISKCON." 

And -- "what do you expect from a bunch of stoned out acid heads"? What I expect is -- that a senior Indian born swami like GGM will be telling us to STOP the worship of stoned out lusty acid heads as Krishna's successor acharyas. 

I expect Gaura Govinda Maharaja to lead us away from worshiping homosexuals and pedophiles as acharyas, instead of being their group's position paper writer, apologist, hand maiden, enabler and co-sponsor of their whacky GBC resolutions. Anyway it looks like there are problems in their system. Ooops, like ISKCON, i.e. not containing abusive people. 

Markandeya told me that all we have to do it chant Nitai and it will all be fine. Ummm, we cannot have deviants posing as acharyas, and supporters of abusers posing as acharyas, and have stoned out acid heads being worshiped as good as God etc., and have a connection to Nitai.

I hope this letter finds you in good health and good spirits, especially so that you may listen and understand what I must communicate to you publicly before the community, to whom it may concern, as a sign of respect and good faith.
My name is Janardan, but the name you gave me back in the distant decade of 2011 was “Jayadeva Das.” 

Since then, I was your disciple for more than 13 years.

I opened the doors of my home to you. You ate my food. You met my friends and lived alongside my wife and children. Every year you sat as the member we believed was the most important in our community. You directly benefited from my money and that of other Chileans (money that, in the end, we do not regret spending because those were years full of human learning and sharing with our friends); yet we never saw a single cent from you or your people. 

Although our community is composed of workers and generally poor people, we were always the ones tirelessly financing all the activities out of our own pockets. This proves the powerful spirit of our Chilean people, always ready to carry forward a cause they believe to be just. Therefore, I have every right to address you publicly, and considering that we never had any real response from you, I have even more right to do so.

Subal, I remind you that my wife, my friends, and I always stood up for you and for our community. But when the time came for you to stand up for us and protect your own community, of which you claim to be the spiritual sustainer, did you? Did you also stand up for us and confront the abusers, the corrupt ones, the exploiters, and the filthy malicious ones?

No. You did not.

Rather, you did quite the opposite. Do you remember that in 2020, when I presented to you several reports of abuse, you asked me to remain silent? That I should look the other way and carry on with activities as if nothing were happening?

But thank God our small community was able to stay united and continue against adversity and suffering. Do you know why? Because my wife (ex–Chaitanya Priya) and I always stood up for them (the victims), and for us, for our people. Good and humble people who, as you sadly demonstrated once again, always have to endure the abuses of those who think themselves superior, whose voices are always silenced, and whose spirits are crushed by the corrupt, fearful that we may unite and raise our powerful voice.

I began this short letter calling you “fellow,” because in the end, isn’t that what we are supposed to be? Fellows who accompany and care for one another in the sankirtan movement of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, whose rebellious and transformative spirit was once able in the Middle Ages to gather thousands of people with the roaring chants of “Hari! Hari! Haribol!” and fiercely bring down the palace of the Muslim governor Chand Kazi, the abuser who precisely sought to silence the voices of the devotees by smashing their drums and threatening them simply because his petty political power felt threatened by Chaitanya and his dignified people.

Isn’t this the very spirit and the original message of Chaitanya, as can still be witnessed in the ancient Bengali scripture Chaitanya Bhagavat?

Was it not Chaitanya himself who spread among his people a fiery message of emancipation, freedom, community, and revolution against the corrupt religious leaders and their sects of torment and spiritual slavery?

Was it not Chaitanya himself who personally empowered all people, without any distinction, to raise their voices in the cry of “Hari bol!” and unite against injustice?

So what on earth are you doing, my friend Subal?

Why do you make people believe that in order to be saved they must submit to you and to a band of corrupt abusers whose only purpose is to enslave people and strip them of the most valuable thing they have remaining — their humanity?

Through this letter, I respectfully call upon you, and also upon others who may be in your same situation:

Please, realize everything I am telling you and get out of the hell in which you are burning, and burning along with you those who listen to you. Please, immediately abandon your corrupt position of prestige and power, for it is a poison that may lead you to commit unforgivable crimes. Please, my friend (and I call you friend with all the knowledge I have of you), you still have time.

Repent and ask forgiveness from your followers and the community at large, and renounce your position as guru to become one more among us — friends from all over the world united by faith in God / Krishna, mutual respect, truth, and human dignity.

Personally, I believe that despite all the serious mistakes and serious actions you have done, directly and indirectly, you have not yet committed anything that is unforgivable. So please repent, ask forgiveness, and correct your behavior, stop falsifying the position of guru, and I am sure the entire community will forgive you and thank you forever for such a display of practical courage in the authentic message of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

I hope one day you may return to Santiago de Chile, this time with money from your own pocket, and ask forgiveness personally from all the people who believed in you and whom you tried to destroy because of the poison you swallowed without thinking: my family, my friends, the entire community of devotees and their families, and finally me, who being your first disciple in Chile started all this on this side of the world, betting everything on the real message of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu which today shines brighter than ever.

We are both human, you and I. But do you know what the difference is between you and me? That I can stand with dignity and full peace before the people who believed in me and who still believe in me, for the simple reason that I asked them for forgiveness personally and openly for all my mistakes. I am not afraid, because my conscience is clear, my family and friends are with me, and I am able to look them in the eyes every day because I love them and they know I have fought and will continue to fight for them against the spiritual corruption that rules us today.

Do that, and I will forgive you, and even if we do not become friends again, at least you will be able to return to Santiago de Chile with dignity, sharing with the humble and great-hearted people who once also believed in you, opening to you the doors of their souls and whose faith you mercilessly damaged, but which fortunately you still have time to amend.

It is solely in your hands, because what was in ours we have already done.

AMD: In July 2020, we issued an official statement as a temple addressing a serious complaint — in a private group at the time—. Today we show it publicly for the first time to prove that Bhaktivedanta Vana NEVER did anything help to this kind of abomination and worse things, but quite the opposite: he asked us to silence the abuses, facilitating their deliberately cover-up.

Today the time came to make public this statement that at the time was private to show the community that our Temple always remained dignified, firm in its resolution to protect the devotees and devotees, and that we were systematically silenced by the Guru himself, who all the years and with his actions in the real world he always proved that human dignity cares little and nothing to him and his minions scattered around the world, while humble and decent people silently suffered the atrocities of this abusive bloodsuckers troop.

Finally the Temple ended up dissolving unanimously of all its active components and more than 20 people throughout Chile abandoned BV Vana on their own to determine how all their spiritual speech are pure lies to continue attracting followers, continue covering up abuses and even reports of se*ual attacks, and continue parasitizing decent people who do work and want authentic spirituality without lies or nastiness.

At the extinct Sri Narayan Goswami Gaudiya Math Temple Chile we NEVER tolerated any grossness and therefore decided to finish an intense preaching work that lasted more than 10 years. To date, none of the abusers have apologized and continue to freely ridicule everything and everyone.

ISKCON: The Challenges of Succession 09 24 25

In honor of the 60th Anniversary of ISKCON’s Founder-Acarya Srila Prabhupada's first arrival in the United States in September 1965, the ISKCON Communications Ministry has released a film entitled "The Hare Krishnas: The Challenges of Succession and Leadership." 

PADA: OK first of all, after 1978 the ISKCON GBC announced that they are creating a "guru parampara of God's successors" aka "Vishnupada / Acharyapada / Tirthapada / Krishnapada etc." -- which as we all know by now, contains -- homosexuals, pedophiles, perverts, deviants, drunks, drug addicts, porno swamis etc. What kind of respect for God is represented by the GBC people who are declaring deviants -- including pedophiles -- to be "God's successors"? 

Worse, even recently some "senior devotees" were telling our associates that they are "missing the boat" by not taking initiation from the GBC's homosexual and pedophile guru parampara. The GBC has emphasized the need to accept "a living guru" from their "living" homosexual and pedophile guru sampradaya, which has now morphed into the worship of DEPARTED homosexuals and pedophiles in samadhi. 

And as soon as someone is not on board with their homosexual and pedophile guru sampradaya, the "dissenter" can be banned -- or sued for $20,000,000 -- as the GBC has done with Bangalore -- or beaten, or assassinated. The result is that there has been a mass exodus from ISKCON by people who have no interest in worshiping conditioned souls and deviants as "God's successors."

Meanwhile, my associates recently noticed that their local ISKCON temple is placing demigod's murtis on the temple altar -- and is sponsoring a "Raas Garbha" Durga Puja type ceremony, which even my "newer devotee" associates knew is forbidden to be promoted in ISKCON under Srila Prabhupada. They sent me photos and asked my opinion, and I said -- this is not authorized.    

In other words, even some newer people can see that ISKCON is deviating more and more from Srila Prabhupada's ideals. These associates agreed -- the whole Raas Garbha program is a means of ATTRACTING HINDUS to get their $$$ donations. It is a Hindu business. 

To say that deviants are -- or were -- or could have been -- God's "gurus and acharyas" and "the successors to Krishna" really indicates how low class the GBC is, and it is self evident they have a very poor opinion of Krishna and His successors. Even an atheist would never claim that homosexuals, pedophiles, and assorted deviants, are the "guru successors to God." It is an insult to God.  

For starters, even the atheists would ALSO know -- making perverts into messiahs is placing children in a lot of peril -- since the children are then forced or coerced into worshiping deviants if not homosexuals and pedophiles as their messiahs. That will corrupt the worship process of children, and it has.

Never mind we also said in 1979 -- the GBC policy of worshiping pedophiles will act as a magnet to attract more and more pedophiles and perverts to the society -- a society where deviants and predators are being worshiped as good as God / God's successors etc. This perverted form of worship will attract -- perverts. 

As happened. 

Other newer persons just now said their blood is boiling after I told them that just after the GBC kicked me out in 1979 -- for protesting their "pedophile pooja," then by 1980 a pedophile group was using chloroform on children in the UK to seduce them. These newer folks said, these GBC people will be boiling in Hades as a result. Of course this begs the question, why were none of the perps, or leaders responsible for orchestrating this mess, ever charged with crimes? 

The film documents the history of Srila Prabhupada's creation of the Governing Body Commission (GBC) of ISKCON, as well as explaining the various functions and departments of the GBC today. "Many ISKCON devotees don't know what the GBC is, how it functions, why Srila Prabhupada created the GBC, or even that Prabhupada created the GBC before he established the BBT," said Kumari Kunti, Co-Director of ISKCON Communications in North America, who is interviewed in the film. 

PADA: The GBC's main and primary function is to insure that the standards are being held up, and thus to make sure that homosexuals, pedophiles and deviants are not being worshiped as acharyas / parampara members / messiahs in ISKCON. And that automatically protects the citizens from being entangled in these deviations, and protects children from these deviations. 

Instead, by all appearances, the worship of deviants has been encouraged and protected, while the dissenters are booted out, maybe sued and maybe beaten, and maybe killed by GBC enforcers.

She continued, "It's important that ISKCON members know what our leadership does, and how they do it." The film includes interviews with independent academics, members of the GBC, GBC Deputies, GBC Ministers, members of the ISKCON Sastric Advisory Council, and members of SABHA (the organization that reviews GBC resolutions and has the power to send resolutions back to the GBC for reconsideration). 

The footage also includes interviews with Bhakti Caru Swami and Gopal Krishna Swami, both former GBC members who have now departed this world. 

PADA: Gopal Krishna swami was one of the people who helped coordinate making the Kirtanananda swami samadhi, along with Radhanath and others. There is no such thing as a "homosexual pedophile samadhi" -- which is what even the mundane media people asked me. "What is a homosexual and pedophile samadhi"? Ummm, it is the handiwork of these guys. 

The Communications Ministry, in conjunction with Karuna Productions, worked for several years to create the film. The Ministry chose to release the movie now to honor the 60th Anniversary of Srila Prabhupada's landing in America. "As a member of the GBC for more than twenty years, I've seen our leadership deal with both opportunities and serious challenges," said Anuttama. "I'll be the first to acknowledge that we, the GBC, have made our share of mistakes over the years, but I'm also convinced that the GBC is composed of very genuine followers of Srila Prabhupada, and that without the leadership of the GBC, ISKCON would not have survived its first 60 years." 

PADA: These GBC guys chased out / purged out / most of the first generation, second generation, and the third generation of small kids is mostly being raised up outside the walls of ISKCON, because the mass of people have rejected the authority of the GBC. 

To say that all the systematic banning, beating, molesting, lawsuits and murders "are mistakes we made" is also not correct. These evil programs have been well orchestrated, well planned, and highly coordinated. For example, I said there is a pedophile program, and I was harassed ever since, and not one leader has ever stepped up to defend my position. 

ISKCON has grown substantially since Srila Prabhupada arrived in the US and later founded ISKCON in 1966. As the Society has grown and its membership diversified, the responsibilities of the GBC have also grown, and the GBC has added several layers of management support and checks and balances to help carry that load. For example, as part of its effort to connect with and effectively offer leadership to devotees around the world, the GBC recently created the Executive Support Office (ESO). 

Part of the ESO mission is to better inform ISKCON members about the ongoing discussions and decisions of the GBC, and to provide better opportunities for two-way communication. Professor Larry D. Shinn, former President Emeritus of Berea College, USA, (who passed away in early 2025) comments in the film, "I see ISKCON growing up, maturing from a charismatic movement to what Max Weber called a rationalized institution. It's when you have to then put your beliefs in writing. You have to formalize the rituals. You have to make sure you understand what all the roles are, what the ethics of the community are, and all the rest."

Radha Devi Dasi, ISKCON Vaishnavi Minister, USA, and an attorney and former professor, is also featured. She appreciates the need for international leadership in this way, "There are some things on which we have to have an international policy. We all have to be on the same page. 

"In addition, there are large legal issues that have international implications that only an international governing body is going to be able to deal with." As the film points out, all has not been rosy for the GBC or ISKCON. 

It highlights shortcomings in providing opportunities for women and youth, as well as the need for greater openness to new expressions of devotion and devotional culture. "The film hopes to further connect ISKCON's ever-expanding membership to the leadership structure that Srila Prabhupada created, and to help ensure that the message of Lord Caitanya, and the principles of unity in diversity that Srila Prabhupada stressed, are never diminished," concluded Anuttama Dasa.

PADA: It seems like the current GBC guru program is oblivious to what is the reason ISKCON is being rejected wholesale in the West. And the temples are mainly attracting Hindus. 

As Hansadutta pointed out some years ago, the Governing Body Commission of ISKCON was never given the job of managing, and thus 2/3 show of hands -- voting in, sometimes voting out, the pure devotees and acharyas in the parampara. Hansadutta said -- a governing body is supposed to work UNDER the authority of an acharya, and not be the managerial directors -- acting as the superior over lords and authority over the acharyas. There are no examples in shastra of any acharyas being voted in, voted out, suspended, monitored, corrected, excommunicated and overall controlled by a managerial body. Especially when that body is prone to constant "mistakes."

Meanwhile, these GBC annointed acharyas have often been acting like -- out of control mavericks -- in many cases, and it looks like the GBC is not even doing its alleged job of "managing" these acharyas. As the book Monkey On A Stick points out, the GBC are often seen as "gutless wonders" when it comes to addressing deviations in their acharyas.  

All that being said, it seems the GBC is totally oblivious to the fact that any corporation, institution, religious organization, government leader etc. who seems to have allowed or orchestrated child abuse, is not going to be recognized as a proper civil, religious, moral and righteous management system. 

It is going to look corrupt and even evil. OK, or as some of the ex-Krishna kids would say, it looks like a pro-pedophile Satanic cult that orchestrates Auschwitz for kids. That impression has to change if the GBC wants to start to improve its credibility.

Even the current problem with "The Epstein Files" is not going away soon either. The perception that child mistreatment is being allowed, or has been allowed, or covered up, is not something most people will forgive or tolerate. So the first problem the GBC has is, they appear to have enabled, covered up, excused and facilitated the abuse of MANY children. 

And worse, they orchestrated the oppression of us whistle blowers, which means, they defended the regime. All of that is not going to be fixed by making "another committee." Anyway, GBC these folks don't seem to get it. When Jayadvaita says their guru parampara lineage contains -- illicit sex with men, women and possibly children, that is the end of the line for most people. 

Most folks are never, ever, ever, in trillions of years, going to accept and worship a guru line that contains these deviations. On the other hand, some have suggested the GBC is promoting a pedophile guru line on purpose, to disgust everyone, and have them leave, so they can transform the buildings into a Hindu business. Anyway we want to look at it, the GBC has lost credibility, and they have not done hardly anything of substance to fix that problem. Meanwhile more people think our view is the credible one. 

So we are winning more and more hearts and minds over to our side all the time, and in that sense, we are winning, albeit slow but steady. There is no challenge of succession, deviants are not part of the succession, end of story.

PADA: Kinda interesting if not funny discussion on the Bangalore case, with video clips from the GBC's legal advisor Dayarama. Dayarama keeps saying things about Srila Prabhupada registering ISKCON and all that, but at the same time he admits to me that the GBC is making homosexuals and deviants into acharyas. 

Sorry, there is nothing in Srila Prabhupada's written orders or corporate documents claiming that he wants to have ISKCON worshiping an illicit sex with men, women and children guru process. So this is not solely about property, it is about the siddhanta and philosophical facts, we cannot have the worship of homosexuals and pedophiles and other deviants in his society, he has not authorized that. 

I did not watch the whole thing, but it shows that Bangalore's ritvik idea is on the minds of a lot of folks these days, and is being discussed all over the place. I think they are trying to be friends with both sides, and that means we are gaining credibility and authenticity, and de facto support. 

Yeah, why didn't Bangalore just cave in and not bother going to court? Because we have to have at least one sector of ISKCON that does not allow the worship of homosexuals, pedophiles, predators, drunks, drug addicts, porno swamis etc. -- as acharyas; and / or 84 years old acharyas getting married to much younger women, gurus who are dating minors, sex in the motorhome acharyas, etc. Some parts of ISKCON should be exclusively worshiping pure devotees, or all of ISKCON will look foolish.

September 23, 2017: On this date in history 8 years ago, in a Facebook comment, Ramesvara declares, “I was not involved in this heinous murder [of Sulochan], . . . there being no truth to this false accusation.”

The author replies to Ramesvara, “Considering your knowledge of the plot, did you try to stop or impede the murder? Did you try to warn Sulochan that hit men were hunting him? I think not. If this is not aiding and abetting, I don’t know what is. You were very, very lucky that you were not questioned or subpoenaed to appear in court. 

Why don’t you, like your disciple Mahamantra, just say, ’I was misguided and I regret my involvement in this crime.’ Please do not continue to live in denial. Your dishonesty looks very bad for you. Please, I beg you, become an honest disciple of Srila Prabhupada.”

Perhaps Ramesvara speaks the truth; but if he is, then his two former disciples, Krishna Katha and Mahamantra, were lying when they implicated their “spiritual master” in the murder of Sulochan, when they testified under oath in court in Martinsburg, West Virginia in March 1991.

MMD: Dare I say it? ISKCON is chocker block full of people who are enemies of children. That is clear. It seems the pedophiles always get the benefit of doubt, while the people defending the ISKCON children ... and exposing abuses ... are being beaten around the head. Or sued. Or worse.

Very strange, they often claim to be followers of Lord Narasimhadev, who has no tolerance for mistreating of children. Even more strange, some of the children's enemies have names like "Prahlad das," "Narasimhadev das" etc when they are cheering on children getting beaten and worse. 

I wanted to have people remember what is our duty ??? to be followers of Lord Narasimhadev. I would like to present some mediations on who is the person Prahlad -- and what is our duty to serve the ISKCON little children Prahlads. Under no circumstances should we EVER tolerate mistreating children! And it is so sad so many people need to be reminded of this fact. 

"Prahlada Maharaja, he was put into so many difficulties by his atheist father, Hiranyakasipu, but he was simply remembering Narayana, Krsna. Because he was a child, five years old, how he can fight with his father? His father was the greatest demon, powerful, and he was against the child. So he used to simply think of Krsna, smaranam."

"Prahlada Maharaja, a five-year-old boy, had to undergo a great deal of suffering at the hands of his father, who was torturing him for being a devotee. The boy was trampled by elephants, thrown from a mountain, placed in burning oil and thrown into a snake pit, yet he was silent during this whole ordeal. Similarly, Haridasa Thakura, a Muhammadan by birth, was a very great devotee and was always chanting Hare Krsna. That was his only fault. 

However, the Muslim Kazi called him forth and said, "You are a Muhammadan, born in a great Muhammadan family, yet you are chanting this Hindu Hare Krsna mantra. What is this?" Haridasa Thakura mildly replied, "My dear sir, there are many Hindus who have become Muhammadans. Suppose I have become a Hindu? What is wrong with this?" The Kazi became very angry and ordered Haridasa Thakura to be whipped in twenty-two bazaars. 

This essentially meant that he was to be beaten to death, but because he was such a great devotee he did not actually feel the pain. Although a devotee may sometimes have to suffer, he tolerates the suffering. At the same time, he is very kind to conditioned souls and tries to elevate them to Krsna consciousness. This is one of the primary features of a devotee's life. People are always putting a sadhu into difficulties, but he does not give up his job, which is to spread Krsna consciousness so that others may become happy. 

It was Prahlada Maharaja who said: "My Lord, I am not suffering, for I know the art of being happy." How is this? "Simply by hearing about You and chanting about You I am happy." This is the business of a devotee--hearing and chanting about the Lord. This is sravanam kirtanam visnoh smaranam. Now this sravanam kirtanam is taking place all over the world through the Krsna consciousness movement."

Teachings of Lord Kapila, Verse 23

"Prahlada Maharaja said: Hearing and chanting about the transcendental holy name, form, qualities, paraphernalia and pastimes of Lord Visnu, remembering them, serving the lotus feet of the Lord, offering the Lord respectful worship with sixteen types of paraphernalia, offering prayers to the Lord, becoming His servant, considering the Lord one's best friend, and surrendering everything unto Him (in other words, serving Him with the body, mind and words)--these nine processes are accepted as pure devotional service. One who has dedicated his life to the service of Krsna through these nine methods should be understood to be the most learned person, for he has acquired complete knowledge."

Purport: "When Prahlada Maharaja was asked by his father to say something from whatever he had learned, he considered that what he had learned from his spiritual master was the best of all teachings whereas what he had learned about diplomacy from his material teachers, Sanda and Amarka, was useless. Bhaktih paresanubhavo viraktir anyatra ca (Bhag. 11.2.42). This is the symptom of pure devotional service. A pure devotee is interested only in devotional service, not in material affairs. To execute devotional service, one should always engage in hearing and chanting about Krsna, or Lord Visnu."

Srimad-Bhagavatam 7:5:23

"My dear Lord Nrsimhadeva, I see that there are many saintly persons indeed, but they are interested only in their own deliverance. Not caring for the big cities and towns, they go to the Himalayas or the forest to meditate with vows of silence [mauna-vrata]. They are not interested in delivering others. As for me, however, I do not wish to be liberated alone, leaving aside all these poor fools and rascals. I know that without Krsna consciousness, without taking shelter of Your lotus feet, one cannot be happy. Therefore I wish to bring them back to shelter at Your lotus feet.

Purport: "This is the decision of the Vaisnava, the pure devotee of the Lord. For himself he has no problems, even if he has to stay in this material world, because his only business is to remain in Krsna consciousness. The Krsna conscious person can go even to hell and still be happy. Therefore Prahlada Maharaja said, naivodvije para duratyaya-vaitaranyah: "O best of the great personalities, I am not at all afraid of material existence." The pure devotee is never unhappy in any condition of life. This is confirmed in Srimad-Bhagavatam (6.17.28):

na kutascana bibhyati
svargapavarga-narakesv
api tulyartha-darsinah

""Devotees solely engaged in the devotional service of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Narayana, never fear any condition of life. For them the heavenly planets, liberation and the hellish planets are all the same, for such devotees are interested only in the service of the Lord."

"For a devotee, being situated in the heavenly planets and being in the hellish planets are equal, for a devotee lives neither in heaven nor in hell but with Krsna in the spiritual world. The secret of success for the devotee is not understood by the karmis and jnanis. Karmis therefore try to be happy by material adjustment, and jnanis want to be happy by becoming one with the Supreme. 

The devotee has no such interest. He is not interested in so-called meditation in the Himalayas or the forest. Rather, his interest is in the busiest part of the world, where he teaches people Krsna consciousness. The Krsna consciousness movement was started for this purpose. We do not teach one to meditate in a secluded place just so that one may show that he has become very much advanced and may be proud of his so-called transcendental meditation, although he engages in all sorts of foolish materialistic activity. 

A Vaisnava like Prahlada Maharaja is not interested in such a bluff of spiritual advancement. Rather, he is interested in enlightening people in Krsna consciousness because that is the only way for them to become happy. Prahlada Maharaja says clearly, nanyam tvad asya saranam bhramato'nupasye: "I know that without Krsna consciousness, without taking shelter of Your lotus feet, one cannot be happy." One wanders within the universe, life after life, but by the grace of a devotee, a servant of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, one can get the clue to Krsna consciousness and then not only become happy in this world but also return home, back to Godhead. 

That is the real target in life. The members of the Krsna consciousness movement are not at all interested in so-called meditation in the Himalayas or the forest, where one will only make a show of meditation, nor are they interested in opening many schools for yoga and meditation in the cities. Rather, every member of the Krsna consciousness movement is interested in going door to door to try to convince people about the teachings of Bhagavad-gita As It Is, the teachings of Lord Caitanya. That is the purpose of the Hare Krsna movement. The members of the Krsna consciousness movement must be fully convinced that without Krsna one cannot be happy. Thus the Krsna conscious person avoids all kinds of pseudo spiritualists, transcendentalists, meditators, monists, philosophers and philanthropists."

Srimad-Bhagavatam 7:9:44

"Purport: "There are three stages of transcendental development in devotional service, which are technically called sthayi-bhava, anubhava and mahabhava. Continual perfect love of Godhead is called sthayi-bhava, and when it is performed in a particular type of transcendental relationship it is called anubhava. But the stage of mahabhava is visible amongst the personal pleasure potential energies of the Lord. It is understood that the grandson of Diti, namely Prahlada Maharaja, would constantly meditate on the Lord and reiterate His activities. 

Because he would constantly remain in meditation, he would easily transfer himself to the spiritual world after quitting his material body. Such meditation is still more conveniently performed by chanting and hearing the holy name of the Lord. This is especially recommended in this age of Kali.

"He will be a virtuously qualified reservoir of all good qualities; he will be jolly and happy in others' happiness, distressed in others' distress, and will have no enemies. He will be a destroyer of the lamentation of all the universes, like the pleasant moon after the summer sun.

Purport: Prahlada Maharaja, the exemplary devotee of the Lord, had all the good qualities humanly possible. Although he was the emperor of this world, he was not profligate. Beginning from his childhood he was the reservoir of all good qualities. Without enumerating those qualities, it is said here summarily that he was endowed with all good qualities. That is the sign of a pure devotee. The most important characteristic of a pure devotee is that he is not lampata, or licentious, and another quality is that he is always eager to mitigate the miseries of suffering humanity. The most obnoxious misery of a living entity is his forgetfulness of Krsna. A pure devotee, therefore, always tries to evoke everyone's Krsna consciousness. This is the panacea for all miseries.

"Your grandson will be able to see, inside and outside, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, whose wife is the beautiful goddess of fortune. The Lord can assume the form desired by the devotee, and His face is always beautifully decorated with earrings.

Purport: It is predicted herewith that the grandson of Diti, Prahlada Maharaja, would not only see the Personality of Godhead within himself by meditation but would also be able to see Him personally with his eyes. This direct vision is possible only for one who is highly elevated in Krsna consciousness, for the Lord is not possible to see with material eyes. The Supreme Personality of Godhead has multifarious eternal forms such as Krsna, Baladeva, Sankarsana, Aniruddha, Pradyumna, Vasudeva, Narayana, Rama, Nrsimha, Varaha and Vamana, and the devotee of the Lord knows all those Visnu forms. A pure devotee becomes attached to one of the eternal forms of the Lord, and the Lord is pleased to appear before him in the form desired. A devotee does not imagine something whimsical about the form of the Lord, nor does he ever think that the Lord is impersonal and can assume a form desired by the nondevotee. The nondevotee has no idea of the form of the Lord, and thus he cannot think of any one of the above-mentioned forms. But whenever a devotee sees the Lord, he sees Him in a most beautifully decorated form, accompanied by His constant companion the goddess of fortune, who is eternally beautiful."

Srimad-Bhagavatam 3:14:48-50

"Krsna is never morose or full of anxiety. Why? Why God should be full of anxiety? Krsna, you will never find that He is in meditation. Whom He will meditate? He is the Supreme Personality of God Himself. You will find Lord Siva is in the pose of meditation, but you will never find Krsna in meditation. Therefore, He is the Supreme Lord. 

And He says personally that mattah parataram nanyat kincid asti dhananjaya. "Dhananjaya, Arjuna, just take it from Me. There is no other superior authority than Me." And that's a fact. So when Krsna was present on this planet, He showed that nobody in the history of the world is superior than Krsna. He showed as much as possible you can understand. Otherwise, still He has got immense power, unlimited power. So the point is Prahlada Maharaja is trying to convince his demon... The demons cannot understand that the God can be a person. That is demoniac. They cannot... Because they cannot understand, the difficulty is a demon tries to understand God, comparing with him."

RE: DEATH THREATS TO PADA UPDATE

PADA: Thanks for your questions Mama Bear Dasi prabhu, "don't I get discouraged by all this"? Well yes and no. When I started in 1979, maybe 99.999% percent of my God brothers opposed me, and they thought I was making severe offenses to His Divine Grace Srila Jayatirtha Tirthapada, for my repeating Srila Prabhupada -- saying that a guru's sex with a disciple is a pedophile process. 

I was saying this is a pedophile guru program -- right out of the gate, and almost no one believed me. Fast forward to today in 2025, and it is almost the complete opposite, 99.999% of the people DO agree with me. Yep fer sure, there is a pedophile problem here. Which is why the temples are empty and the children are missing in action. 

Unfortunately many kids -- maybe thousands -- had to be tossed into a wood chipper to prove my point, so yeah, that is very discouraging. I could not save them. Discouraging is not even the proper word, it is worse. But we did what we could.

Your next question, what started the "bad blood" war between PADA and HKC Jaipur? OK HKC Jaipur's "senior man" Prahlad wrote to inform me that I had a small window of time to erase and remove all my complaints against the HKC folks who were promoting the cheer leaders of the homosexual and pedophile guru program "or else." He was clearly making a threat of violence. 

And Prahlad said he was thus going to send my photo to the GBC enforcers to have me attacked violently, or maybe killed. And then he did circulate my photo to them, trying to get me attacked or killed. My photo is still on his site? My own kids said at the time, and still say now, he followed up to make you a target for violence. The HKC Jaipur senior man wants to see Vaishnava's blood. 

OK even various kids knew, HKC Jaipur's senior enforcer wants you to be attacked, and violently. Or killed. This was well known at the time. My own kids were going, oh duh, looky over here at their site! They are trying to get you killed. So right out of the gate, the HKC Jaipur goons were trying to place my kids into anxiety, so they will oppress and severely harass my kids -- never mind other's kids. OK they are not kid friendly, plain and simple. They wanted children to believe their dad would get whacked, all because their dad opposes mass child molesting. 

And that proved PADA's point right away, the HKC Jaipur program is in bed with the homosexual and pedophile messiah's squad's project -- actively feeding violent hit jobs to the GBC's goonda squad, trying to have opponents of the pedophile messiah's project -- violently oppressed -- or taken out. OK they are trying to have Krishna's devotees violently attacked, or worse. 

Then the HKC Jaipur pal Mathura Pati says he would like to come over here and punch me in the head. Same thing, another case of their violent goonda-ism. I am self evidently a threat to these violent pedophile guru defender programs. Or what? After all that, then they say I have to apologize to them. Because I survived their attempt to put a hit on me? 

Ummm really, I have to apologize to violent enforcers of homosexual and pedophile messiahs' projects. Sorry, as soon as someone tells PADA -- either erase complaints -- against the homosexual and pedophile messiah's project -- "or else" we are going to help the GBC's enforcers come get you, then we know right away, we are 100% correct. Violent oppression means -- they have no siddhanta, they are simply violent thug goonda GBC ilk enforcers. 

Worse -- it proves -- we are in fact fighting violent pedophile guru cult defenders. And they have just proven who they are -- all by themselves. And now they are saying that our reports (on things like the abuse etc.) are "PADA lies," which is what the pedophile messiahs like Kirtanananda say.  

Can't they find a superior authority? So (A) they wanted to promote the cheer leaders of the Saint Radhanath and Bhavananda molester messiah's project, (B) we objected, and (C) they decided to have us oppressed, (D) self evidently encouraging and inciting violence. Fine. But this is what the cheer leaders of the homosexual and pedophile messiah's club has done to me ever since 1978. Another walk in the park day for me.

Sure, I am somewhat cautious with them, but not actually that frightened of them -- at least not too much. My much bigger fear is? That I will die and be judged by Lord Narasimgha's agents in Yamaraja's court for not taking action in protecting Krishna's children. 

I decided to take some action at least, and I do not regret doing that. I still probably will end up in Yama's court, but at least the crime of neglecting and not helping those children, which will be on the plate of many of the 99.999% percenters who opposed me, won't be one of the charges he reads against me. 

At least I will not be part of that camp, and that is encouraging for me. But it is not something that is like a sweet tasting victory, too many people suffered too much, especially children. And that is the bitter part of the pill, and that is all there is to it. So it is a mixed result, some sweet, some bitter. 

Anyway, after Kurukshetra Yuddhisthira lamented, "we won, but there has had to be so much devastation for us to win." I understand why he felt that way. The good news is, more people agree with PADA -- we need to jettison the molester messiah's project, and its allies, supporters, defenders, apologists, sycophants etc. -- so we will have a brighter situation in the future. On that issue, I feel encouraged. And hopefully -- the future devotees will look back at our history and say "never again." That is a hopeful -- and probable -- outcome.

MORAL COURAGE / WHAT IS MORAL COURAGE?

There are those who know what is right and speak out about it. And there are those who know but do not speak, and there are those who do not know so they have no voice of wisdom.

Those who know but do not speak lack moral courage. We see examples of this everywhere, especially in politics, religious institutions, and even families.
In our case, those disciples, especially leaders, of Iskcon who did not have the moral courage to stand up to the 1978 hijackers of Srila Prabhupada’s Iskcon lacked moral courage. 

Instead, they chose their vested personal interests or ambitions rather than showing moral courage. We can all see their fates.

Now, most Prabhupada disciples are in the later years of their lives, 60’s, 70’s, even 80’s. We are at the threshold of death. I truly believe we will very soon have to bow before our master, Srila Prabhupada, in gratitude for all he has given us. 

But I also foresee that he will ask each one of us:

“Why didn’t you defend my books? Why did you not stand up for me and protect my life’s work, my books, from those who would dare to call them “horrible” and dare to change my words? Do you not know the ancient principle of “arsha prayoga”? It means that whatever the Acharya or sage speaks, that is considered sacred and cannot be “improved upon.” This principle is from Vedic times, and I taught you this. Did you forget?”

“Or were you more concerned about your position in society, your income, or your name and fame than about me and my wishes? I need an answer.”

Each one of us must be ready to answer these questions, because each one of us is at the very threshold of death. It can come any time now.

Now is the time to start thinking about how we will reply. There is no doubt in my mind that these are some of the important questions that will be asked. So now is the time to start contemplating our reply. We will answer for our every word and deed; of that there is no doubt.

But those of us who are initiates of Srila Prabhupada will be thoroughly tested. He expected more of us. He has given us the greatest of gifts — Krishna 

consciousness, and the opportunity to enter the spiritual world. This doesn’t come without a price. And the price is moral courage. The courage to stand up for what is right in every situation, and especially in regard to the wishes of our beloved spiritual master Srila Prabhupada.

PADA: Yeah, what happened to the brahmana devotees, the vulnerable women, the children, the cows, the deities, the temples, the books, the good name of the society, everything he worked to create. Where did it all end up? And who acquiesced with the evil doers and allowed it to get there?

PADA: Not admitting this guy was never a guru. Now Trivrikrama is going to be another "messiah in rehab." Sheesh! 

Sridhara Srinivasa ilk say that it is common for pure devotee / assistants of the gopis no less / to become intoxicated skirt chasers in the material world, which is called "thinking guru to be an ordinary man." Srila Prabhupada said these "gurusuh narah matih" people are not going to naraka, they already live in naraka already. ys pd

Spiritual "rehabilitation" in the GBC ISKCON gurus:

How fallen gurus are "rehabilitated" at your expense.

(Exposing the system of hypocrisy and showy repentance).

1. How does "rehabilitation" work in the GBC?

The scenario is standard:

1. Guru/sannyasi is caught:

- Having sex with disciples.
- Drugs.
- Stealing temple money, pedophilia, etc.

2. GBC publicly announce: "He repents! Sent to spiritual rehab in Mayapur/Vrindavan."

3. After 1-3 months, the "rehabilitated" one returns:

- With a different title (for example, "Das" instead of "Swami") or even with a different name.

- With a fake story: "Krishna forgave me!"

Reality:

- No one is excommunicated.
- Money for "rehab" is taken from donations.
- Victims (e.g. raped students or children) are hushed up.

2. Why "rehab" does not work?

3 reasons for failure:

1. No real punishment.
- Instead of expulsion - absolution for "sincere repentance".

2. The cult of "guru-infallibility".
- GBC teaches: "Even a fallen guru is holy".
- Result: Devotees are afraid to criticize "returned" teachers.

3. Financial gain.
- "Rehab" is a business:
- Renting housing in "holy places" ($$$).
- Donations for "purification" ($$$).

3. Shocking examples of "rehabilitation".

▸ Case: Bhavananda.
- Crime: Sex with disciples + pedophilia.
- "Rehab": a couple of months in Mayapur.
- Result: Returned as a "humble servant".

4. What is the GBC hiding?

1. "Rehab" = PR move.
- So that devotees do not leave after scandals.

2. Double standards.

- If an ordinary devotee falls, he is expelled.
- If a guru or an important leader, he is given a second chance (and a third, and a fourth...).

3. No therapy.

- No psychologists, no work on mistakes - only formal lectures.

5. How should it be?

Real rehabilitation according to Prabhupada:

1. Disqualification from the post - forever.

2. Compensation - if stolen, must return.

3. Sincere repentance - without public shows.

4. Service on general rights - without the status of "guru".

If a sannyasi falls - he is a sudra and let him earn trust again.

Conclusion: GBC "Rehab" is a fraud.

This is not purification, but a system:

Corruption (money for "rehab" = kickbacks).
Personality cult (gurus can do anything).
Cynicism (victims are not important).

Real purification is in Prabhupada's books, not in Indian hotels for fallen gurus.

Sajjana – Nirdoṣa (A Devotee is Without Fault) was written by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda and published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol. 20, Issue 6 in 1917. Sarasvatī Ṭhākura discusses twelve faults mentioned in the Mahābhārata and how it is imperative to avoid finding fault with a pure Vaiṣṇava.

In Śrī Mahābhārata, Sanat-sujāta* (1) says:

Anger, lust, greed, delusion, selfishness, cruelty, envy, vanity, grief, desire, jealousy, and hatred, are the faults of men. These twelve faults should always be given up by people. (Sanata-Sujātiya2.16)

Humans should give up all these twelve faults:

1. Anger – due to the obstruction of desire, one becomes abusive, physically violent, or causes mental anxiety.

2. Lust – Desiring the association of women.

3. Greed – Anxiety about money and expenditure.

4. Delusion – Being devoid of the intelligence of knowing what should be done and what should not be done.

5. Selfishness – Even after successive gains, one remains unsatisfied and desires more.

6. Cruelty – Possessing a lack of compassion.

7. Envy – Finding fault with the virtues of others.

8. Vanity – Admiring one’s own intelligence.

9. Grief – Mental agony due to the destruction of one’s self interests.

10. Desire – A fondness for various kinds of enjoyment.

11. Jealousy – Jealousy of the success and prosperity of others.

12. Hatred – Slandering others.

These twelve kinds of faults can lead to the total destruction of any individual. When these twelve combine together, the result is so disastrous for a person that it is beyond description. Devotees do not harbour any of these twelve kinds of human faults.

Apart from the aforementioned twelve faults, there are eighteen more faults in an uncontrolled person. Sanat-sujāta states that there are twenty-four more faults, including eighteen kinds of faults leading to delusion, and six kinds of faults related to lack of renunciation. 

*(2) A Vaiṣṇava sādhu is free from all these faults.

The māyāvādī is an offender to the lotus feet of Hari, and he is the instigator of those who are adverse to the service of Krishna All his faults do not affect the devotee.

An unintelligent pseudo-devotee, who does not intrinsically identify as a Vaiṣṇava, falls into various kinds of faults. Unable to comprehend the inherent wretchedness within himself, and perceiving wretchedness in the pure character of a devotee, he becomes an offender at the feet of Vaiṣṇavas. The attempts of the kaniṣṭha to imitate the maha bhāgavata devotees creates obstacles to progress in their position (adhikāra). 

Hearing the intense statements of Vṛndāvana Dāsa Ṭhākura directed towards those who are envious of the devotees, they perceive a lack of humility in them. If one considers those who endeavour to avoid the sinful character of the sahajiyās, or those who reveal one’s lack of understanding in subjects related to the nadīyā-nāgarīs, to be lacking in humility, it will result in no gain beyond one’s own loss.

*(3) The conclusions of those with komala-śraddhā (weak faith) are inaccurate and one-sided. Taking an axe to their own legs, they consider their well-wishers to be their enemy, and by probing for flaws in those that follow the path of virtue, they manifest their own lack of humility.

Understanding the inherent nature of humility, devotees do not closely associate with the ignorant in order to try and gain prestige. This is because they are devoid of faults. Instead of encouraging the māyāvādī from Bengal with sweet words and soft statements, Śrī Dāmodara Svārūpa left aside deceitful humility and desired his auspiciousness. 

*(4) For the welfare of Śrī Vallabha Bhaṭṭa, and to rescue Śrī Kāla Kṛṣṇa Dāsa from the Bhaṭṭathārīs, the Teacher of the supreme truth of tṛṇādapi sunīcahas not committed any fault. On the other hand, people with komala-śraddhā and inexperience, being unable to see the intrinsic nature of tṛṇādapi sunīca in a pure Vaiṣṇava, intend to criticise him, considering him to be an enemy. If they conclude that a Vaiṣṇava lacks humility then their komala-śraddhā will be tainted by these faults.

If a devotee is understood to be faultless, then his truthfulness, his genuine modest nature and his humility will be perceived. When there is good fortune, the defects of those who are innocent will diminish and they can become faultless like the devotees.

(1) Sanat-sujāta is another name for Sanat Kumāra, one of the Catuḥsana. In the Udyoga-parva of the Mahābhārata, Vidura invokes him to answer the questions of Dhṛtarāṣṭra concerning the ātmā. This section of the Mahābhārata is called the Sanat-sujātīya, and was given prominence by Ādi Śaṅkarācārya, who wrote a commentary on it.

(2) The eighteen faults leading to delusion are 

– 1) Showing ill-will towards others. 2) Creating problems for noble acts. 3) Minimising others. 4) Speaking lies. 5) Being tempted by sense-objects. 6) Lack of contentment. 7) Over-dependence on others. 8.) Telling someone their defects to their face. 9) Finding the faults of others in order to gossip. 10) Wasting one’s wealth. 11) Quarreling. 12) Lamenting over past sorrows. 13) Ignorance. 14) Disrespecting those who are honourable. 15) Committing forbidden activities. 16) Harming others. 17) Failure to attain perfection in dharma. 18) Inability to tolerate duality such as heat and cold etc.

The six faults related to lack of renunciation are – 1) Being overly attached when one becomes prosperous. 2) Attachment to materialistic rituals. 3) Attachment to material possessions. 4) Grieving when one’s actions fail. 5) Attachment to family members 6) Not giving donations to those who are worthy recipients.

(3) Nadīyā-nāgarī is another name for the gaurāṅga-nāgarīs, a sect of pseudo Vaiṣṇavas who erroneously believe that Mahāprabhu was a nāgara (an enjoyer of women) and sported with the women of Nadīyā in His youth.

(4) This incident refers to Svarūpa Dāmodara’s chastisement of the Bengali scholar found in Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya-līlā, Chapter 5.
