PADA: Evidently Govinda dasi was trying to visit some ISKCON farms to deliver her important recent message -- the material society is falling apart, and we need to build up ISKCON's farms. But she was surprised to find out, there is hardly anyone on these farms nowadays. Well yep, the GBC has not had much interest in the Varna-ashrama projects, and the farms. For that matter, most of the temples are empty ghost towns as well. 

A lot of devotees, ok guys like ISHAN DAS, kept telling me not to worry because "Krishna is going to fix ISKCON soon." "Krishna won't allow ISKCON to fall apart." "The cavalry will arrive soon and rescue ISKCON." 

Umm, well maybe, but what if Krishna thought ISHAN DAS ilk are supposed to be one of the cavalry soldiers, and he was instead sitting around telling everyone to not bother fighting, and that made ISKCON lose the battle with the evil doers? 

Of course if ISHAN has a cock roach running around his kitchen, he will fix that problem himself and not allow that. But if there are cock roaches running around in Krishna's house, "so what, who cares, too bad, let Krishna fix His own mess." Told ya!

WRONGFUL DEATH LAWSUITS?

PADA: A lawyer friend told me -- the GBC will never agree to admit fault, because that would make them criminally and legally liable. You'll never hear the MAFIA leaders agreeing to any fault in public, because they are lawyered up. The same lawyer friend just asked me, when so many people -- including ex-children -- ended their lives due to the leader's mis-managing, thus many people are no longer here due to such bad mismanaging, then why has there never been a "wrongful death" lawsuit?

He thinks there should have been many such lawsuits already. He said, that means most people in ISKCON don't care about either the living -- or the departed. There is a self-evident lack of concern for others among leaders and acquiescing and compliant rank and file. 

But there might be at least one wrongful death lawsuit in the works, let's see.

All glories to Guru Maharaja!

Guru Maharaja had low hemoglobin so he needed to go to Rela hospital for getting iron transfusion. He successfully completed one session of Iron transfusion in Rela hospital on 16/8/23 without any complications. It was a day care procedure and Guru Maharaja was discharged as soon as the transfusion was over. He would require a few more such doses in the subsequent weeks, and we are hopeful that this would increase his hemoglobin level and Guru Maharaja's complaint of fatigue.

Guru Maharaja's platelet level has increased because of the new medications and the doctors are happy about this. Guru Maharaja was visited by one of the Transplant Nephrologists, Dr Chandrashekhar. He evaluated Guru Maharaja at home and suggested some more tests.

The blood tests related to the kidney is slowly improving but is still not yet back to normal. Guru Maharaja's Xray of the chest showed some water collection in the lungs, because of which his oxygen level had come down a bit and he has shortness of breath. The doctors have started medicines for removing this water collection.

We humbly request everyone to pray for the speedy recovery of Guru Maharaja's health back to normal.

UPDATE: His Grace Nanda Kishore das

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the departure of Nanda Kishore Prabhu at 10:58am this morning of Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was 78 years old.

He was surrounded by Srila Prabhupada chanting and his family chanting along side. He was comfortable and peaceful. Although his eyes were closed most of the time, he was conscious of his surroundings especially the dramatic readings of the Ramayana and Mahabharata, and the Kirtans.

The family is grateful to all the devotees for their prayers and especially to those who sat in vigil for him this past week. Your support is very much appreciated.
The family is planning a private cremation. Details about the Memorial to follow.

Nanda Kishore Prabhu came to the temple and moved in that same Sunday feast. Two weeks later Srila Prabhupada initiated him by letter in 1967. He married HG Jahnava devi dasi in 1969 in the famous wedding Srila Prabhupada performed of the trio couples Nanda Kishore & Jahnava, Rukmini & Bardaraj and Saradiya & Vaikuntanatha prabhus. They had beautiful twin daughters Jaya Radhe and Radha Priya.

Nanda Kishore prabhu has given his life to the service of Srila Prabhupada. His most memorable service was theatrical productions and scripts. The Dramas include the Ramayana of Valmiki, Yudhisthira - Emperor of Mahabharata, The Advent of Lord Krishna, The Killing of Kansa, and The Kidnapping of Rukmini.
He rewrote many popular songs and turned them into devotional songs. He wrote a beautiful Ballad about Srila Prabhupada.

Please give your blessing to this wonderful Vaishnava.

BHAGAVAN DAS

A woman from France left the farm because she was not getting enough supplies for her and her baby, like sanitary napkins, diapers and baby formula. So then the husband came up from France and kidnapped the baby back to Paris. So I was sent to recover the baby girl and bring her back to her mom. This story was in all the European media, "Hare Krishna baby kidnapped." 

And the whole story of how the Hare Krishna's do not supply their mothers and babies with basics was also in all the media. I had no problem getting the baby though the customs because they all knew who she was. Meanwhile Bhagavan was riding around in a luxury BMW 740 and living at a five star hotel. 

He lost touch with reality self evidently and he thought he was someone who could exploit others, but that is not acceptable to Krishna. They all did service at some point, but Srila Prabhupada said we can undo our service and end up with zero service, or less than zero service, he said we could become less than we started with if we make offenses. I know what happened in France, and I also had to go bail out the 30 devotee couples Bhagavan had kicked out and left stranded at the Paris train station with no money, no diapers, no nothing. France yatra went bankrupted after all his purges, he was destroying the movement there. ys pd

THE CASE FOR RADHANATH SWAMI’S COMPLICITY IN MURDER 

Radhanath Swami has not been honest about his role in the murder of Sulochan das, a dissident devotee who was ordered eliminated by New Vrindaban leaders, including himself. He was second in command in New Vrindaban in 1986, and knew everything that went on there, very involved in the administration of the community. He delivered the “escape to India money” to Tirtha das days after the murder in 1986, and he contradicts the testimonies of several devotees as to his role in the murder. 

All is fully revealed in Henry Doktorski’s very compelling book Killing For Krishna: “Radhanath Swami appears prominently in the tenth chapter of this book: the evidence implicates him without question in Sulochan’s murder, and yet he consistently denies it.” RS’s involvement, arrangements, planning, execution, and after-the-fact expenses payment in Sulochan’s murder has been verified by Janmastami, Dharmatma, others, and by all the evidence. 

At Jagat-Guru Swami’s South India ashram, RS is reported to have said: “What was I supposed to do under those circumstances in 1986? We were convinced that Bhaktipada was a pure devotee and that Sulochan was determined to murder him, so we thought we were obligated to stop some demon from killing a pure devotee by any means possible.” (Doktorski, 2016) 

On Aug. 26, 1994, Dharmatma wrote to Hansadutta: “Recently, they made RS a GBC. With all due respect, as I do like him as a person and a sweet devotee, but still he was involved to some degree or had knowledge of Sulochan’s murder. I know this for a fact. Not only that, he supported Kirtanananda Swami to the end, causing many devotees much anguish and suffering. My feeling is that he, like many of the others, is motivated by profit, adoration and distinction. It’s too bad, but not at all surprising. A truly advanced devotee is a rare commodity.” 

Around 2011, after Hansadutta had posted Dharmatma’s old letter on his website, Radhanath privately visited Dharmatma at his Alachua home and convinced him to sign his lawyer’s affidavit that his memory was faulty in these matters.

Dharmatma signed it, but immediately regretted it and ever after maintains the same original position of Radhanath’s involvement in the murder.
