OK this is why Srila Prabhupada said we need to start our own farms. People living on the street, under the freeway, and in their vehicles is simply expanding all over the place, and every day, here in the San Francisco area. More of these people even have little kids, as we have seen.

And some of the North East USA states are giving their homeless $1,000 and a one way ticket to San Francisco, because they will freeze to death in the cold in the North. So we are getting some excess folks from other states here. 

Overall, it is part of the general societal collapse Srila Prabhupada predicted would gradually evolve. It is sad that the Krishna devotees as a group did not take this problem very seriously, and prepare hardly at all for this situation. Anyway, all we can do is hope the devotees can weather this storm by some means or other. 

This situation is bound to get a lot worse before it gets better. The Kali Yuga train is picking up speed.
