[PADA: This is also why ISKCON has lost a lot of credibility, whacked leaders on on a crusade to take people to heaven via -- taking them to hell first. Anyway, it is a good lesson for one and all, take care before we dive off the deep end in some program that promises heaven, but gives us the opposite.
It is too bad that so many people have a lot of nice superficial religious sentiment -- they would maybe like to attain God in heaven -- but then there are all sorts of scams, and a host of bogus gurus, priests, yogis, swamis, avatars and cults that exploit those sentiments.
Srila Prabhupada says -- false religion leaders are destined for the lowest regions. They wanted to take a ride to heaven, and ended up experiencing hell. Very sad that this has happened over and over in history, and unless we heed history, we are condemned to repeat it. ys pd]
