Raksana Das / Narada Muni Quotes / Kadamba Update

Hare Krishna Prabhu,

Thank you as always. The below is for publication if you wish.

Taking Shelter of Srila Prabhupada

Thank you Puranjana Prabhu for your continued forthright presentation of the facts related to the history of Srila Prabhupada’s mission. I support your words pretty much 100%. Although I was initiated by one of the 11 ritvik representatives in 1982 I have always considered Srila Prabhupada my primary guru. It helped that I had stayed on a rainforest farm next door to a couple of nice gay guys for a time prior to journeying to New Govardhana, Australia.

I could quickly see that the lovey-dovey eyes of Bhavananda were not the same as the merciful gaze of a pure devotee. However, not one Prabhupada disciple bothered to tell me the truth about anything happening in ISKCON at the time. Everything had to be learned by overhearing whispers and clandestine meetings between what I have now established to be mostly a bunch of boofheads masquerading as important Vaishnavas.

Fortunate boofheads, but boofheads nevertheless. Some of them were very intelligent, and if intelligence was in and of itself a spiritual quality all would have been good, but misused intelligence … that’s another story.

Bhavananda gave an interesting insight sometime around 1986 during his falldown excuse lecture tour of Australia. He mentioned in one lecture about the occurrences in Vrindavan the day after Srila Prabhupada’s departure, and I paraphrase, “We were all downstairs in shock, crying, and not knowing what to do. Then one devotee came bounding down the stairs totally happy and smiling widely. He looked at me (Bhavananda) and said excitedly, ‘now the whole world is ours!”. You can guess who that devotee was.

By 1991, I had been told by both Brahmananda and Gargamuni Prabhus, plus other senior Prabhupada disciples, that they had rejected the then-current GBC and guru program as it wasn’t representative of what Srila Prabhupada wanted. There was no argument from me. As far as I could ascertain, ISKCON leaders mostly looked like greedy people trying to conceal their wealth, and the bluff has become only more obvious over time. After all, the face is the mirror of the mind and the eyes are the window to the soul. What more evidence is required!

Unfortunately, not only the original magnificent 11 but also the B-team and every other new wave of ‘gurus’ and ISKCON leaders are also supporting the bluff by using a cone of silence, similar to the one Maxwell Smart and the Chief use. Someone should tell the GBC already that the cone of silence aint working too well. More and more devotees are waking up and rejecting the leaders embroiled in crimes, cover-ups, deviations, and complicit behaviors.

The present ISKCON leaders do, however, still have many obedient minions who blindly accept whatever they are told. These people are both sad and dangerous, so it’s worth remembering to be compassionate but also cautious, as they will naturally turn on anyone they see as a threat to their guru’s legitimacy.

There are others also who reject the GBC in some circles but still secretly hope to be praised and adored amongst the general body of devotees. These so-called devotees can be among the most dangerous as they are two-faced and put their own desires for name and fame ahead of anything or anyone else.

The points I wanted to make first but have taken this long to preface are:

* By our extraordinary good fortune in this life or some previous life where we accidentally or purposefully served a Vaishnava/Vaishnavi, we have been introduced to Srila Prabhupada.

* By Srila Prabhupada’s mercy and the mercy of the Lord and the Vaishnavas, we developed a taste for service and a desire for initiation into the disciplic succession.

* Instead of initiating us as followers of the most recent Acharya (Srila Prabhupada) the rubber-stamped gurus initiated us as disciples of themselves.

* The original rubber-stamped gurus all fell down, went mad, got sick, or died early.

* We did not choose the wrong guru. We were guided to Srila Prabhupada and surrendered to him. We were sneakily diverted to the so-called gurus after the fact.

* The merciful shelter that Srila Prabhupada provides is available now and forever for all of us.

It’s not rocket science folks!

It’s time to get back on track and take shelter of Srila Prabhupada. His shelter has always been there. He is just waiting for us. I don’t want to minimize in any way the important service some brave devotees are performing in their attempt to bring the GBCs and ‘gurus’ to account, both legally and philosophically, and I wish you all the best. But my overarching emphasis is to establish Srila Prabhupada as the Acharya whom we can all happily serve.

My best advice is to fight that good fight but simultaneously encourage everyone to take safe shelter of Srila Prabhupada and take as many friends and family members as possible with you, leaving the carnage of present-day shadow ISKCON behind. You will still be in ISKCON, only now you will be in the real ISKCON under the safe guidance and shelter of Srila Prabhupada. It’s not easy, but it can be done.

All of us, seniors and juniors, should be working together and serving in our respective capacities for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada and the Lord. Taking shelter of the most recent acharya is the means by which the Parampara continues unbroken. Srila Prabhupada is the most recent Acharya.

The positive approach should be first to understand that we are followers of Srila Prabhupada, and those of us who have been initiated (and those who haven’t) can take full shelter of Srila Prabhupada in confidence that we are connected to the disciplic succession, without needing to diminish other devotee relationships or appreciation for the assistance any nice devotees have given us.

We should then search out association with like-minded souls, either in-person or online. The devotees of Bengaluru, for example, are outshining so-called ISKCON in every department at present, yet hardly anyone on any devotee website, with the exception of Puranjana Prabhu, ever praises them. They are performing amazing feats of prasadam/meal distribution and original book distribution and should be honoured widely for their achievements for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada.

The alternative for those of us who take shelter of Srila Prabhupada and are still allowed in the temples is to shuffle around the corridors of present-day ISKCON as non-entities, unwanted and unappreciated pieces of nothing, of no importance to anybody, or even worse, ritviks, although according to what I have read in Srila Prabhupad’s books, a ritvik is a good thing.

P.S. Just wanted to say something to those of you who were kids at New Govardhana, Australia, between 1981 and 1984, after which time I started traveling full-time with Ramai Swami. I was mostly away for weeks or months at a time selling those awful paintings, but nevertheless, I want to apologize for not having the smarts to notice some of you were suffering terribly at the time. I should have known better.

In my eyes, you were a dazzling display of childhood youth and beauty multiplied many times over by the mercy of Lord Krishna. I thought highly of you all, and I still do. I’m so sorry for playing my part by being so ignorant, not noticing things, and letting you all down. Most of you don’t know who I am as I generally keep a fairly low profile, but I ask you to take a chance and forgive me anyway in case I unknowingly committed an offense against any of you.

Thank you,

Your servant,

=========================

"Nārada Muni, the great soul, plays a stringed instrument called a vīṇā, vibrating the sound rādhikā-ramaṇa, which is another name for Kṛṣṇa. As soon as he strokes the strings, all the devotees begin responding, making a very beautiful vibration. Accompanied by the stringed instrument, the singing seems like a shower of nectar, and all the devotees dance in ecstasy to the fullest extent of their satisfaction.

While dancing, they appear madly intoxicated with ecstasy, as if drinking the beverage called mādhurī-pūra. Some of them cry, some of them dance, and some of them, although unable to dance publicly, dance within their hearts. Lord Śiva embraces Nārada Muni and begins talking in an ecstatic voice, and seeing Lord Śiva dancing with Nārada, Lord Brahmā also joins, saying, “All of you kindly chant ‘Hari bol! Hari bol!’ ” The King of heaven, Indra, also gradually joins with great satisfaction and begins dancing and chanting “Hari bol! Hari bol!” In this way, by the influence of the transcendental vibration of the holy name of God, the whole universe becomes ecstatic."

Srimad Bhagavatam

Canto 7: The Science of God

Chapter One : The Supreme Lord Is Equal to Everyone
Text 24
SB.7.01.24

My dear King, the conditioned soul, being in the bodily conception of life, considers his body to be his self and considers everything in relationship with the body to be his. Because he has this wrong conception of life, he is subjected to dualities like praise and chastisement.

PURPORT

Only when a conditioned soul accepts the body as himself does he feel the effects of chastisement or praise. Then he determines one person to be his enemy and another his friend and wants to chastise the enemy and welcome the friend. This creation of friends and enemies is a result of one’s bodily conception of life.

PADA: Oh oh, here we go again! The molester messiah's project leaders glorifying the other molester messiah's projects leaders. A society of crows. Yep, Kadamba kanana got shot in an assassination attempt -- "trying to clean up the mess in Vrndavana." I forgot, who made that mess?

Oh yeah, it is Bhakti Marg swami and his pals. Kadamba later said "It was an inside job." Yah think? At least he is going to die and meet his spiritual master, and his spiritual master is none other than -- Jayadvaita swami.

And Jayadvaita swami says -- their guru parampara contains "illicit sex with men, women and children." Who wants to die and be with such masters? You mean to say -- they have a guru parampara that maybe has sex with every person in the house, and also maybe the family goat, and this is part of a "chain of gurus from God."

And we can't wait to go to the planets where that parampara is going. Never mind, you are already almost on that planet, it is just a short time and you will be fully there.

OUR KK SWAMI (Dedicated to Kadamba Kanana Swami)

Life was good when he was young
He then got wed, then became a monk
A man of the Dutch touch genre
In venturesome pursuit he found Chaitanya
Intelligent, musical, with so much talent
He also displayed a warrior's trait so valiant
Like most of us in the early days of the mission
Active responsibility was the only true vision
He became an admin at the Vrindavan temple
For cleaning up a ring of sin – nothing simple
He received a vengeful bullet in his back
Imagine the pain and sacrifice in taking such flack
He once told me he was a natural bloodhound
For any deviant whose philosophy was out–of–bounds
When put on a podium or sent on a stage
He became a heart and brain shake-up sage
He was a tremendous success on many counts
A pure force, to illusion he would pounce
It didn't matter which country or continent
What he delivered had substance and content
A mobile swami for New York, India, Europe
And South Africa, so sweet, like thick, running syrup
He was persistent, determined, and all about giving
Convinced that loving God is the only way of living
There is no doubt that he gained incredible favour
From guru to Krishna and the regular neighbour
He is charging ahead to a greener pasture
After fighting cancer to meet his Master
For the sake of unity among the diverse
He made a contribution to a vast universe
We miss him for his candid consciousness
And appreciate the kindness he launched on us

Thanks JD, yes the GBC gurus have for the most part -- took the material side -- and that means -- they will not get Krishna. True! ys pd
