Good evening friends. 

It seems that many were unable to open the link that gives information about our upcoming festival . So here is the text. Most of the festival will be available by Zoom so please read and feel free to participate in any sessions that interest you. The links are provided here.

Locals are welcome to come to small gatherings here in Melbourne.

We are happy and honoured to present a 3-day festival to celebrate the opening of Govinda Gardens, hold a conference on Aged Care, including discussion on Radharani Gardens- Ashrama for Retired and Aging Bhakti Yogis, kirtan, bhajans, feasting, a variety of educational sessions, meeting new friends and a picnic in beautiful gardens..

Bhakti Festival Schedule

Saturday 5th February: Opening of Govinda Gardens

2 pm to 4 pm, 34-36 Wood St, Preston, Victoria, Australia.

Please join us for kirtan, a brief welcome by Subhalaksmi devi dasi, talks by Akhileshvari dasi, Mahasaumya das and other guest speakers, and refreshments. Please RSVP 0481 993 891 to register your attendance at Govinda Gardens.

Sunday 6th February: Bhakti Yoga Aged Care Conference via Zoom

All are welcome to join us via Zoom, to listen in as our guest speakers inform us on a range of topics. There will be time for questions and a brief discussion at the end of each speaker’s presentation.

We will discuss RKBYC projects possible for the future, collaborations, and affiliations. This will be a brainstorming and networking session. All are invited to participate. This session will be facilitated by RKBYC President Subhalaksmi Dasi and Secretary Akhileshvari Dasi.

Monday 7th February

Seminar on the Care and History of Tulsidevi Maharani in the Bhakti tradition at 
10 am

Michael Gressett (Mahasaumya Das) is the moderator of the Tulsi Facebook page which has over 35,000 members world wide. He will present an informative seminar on this popular subject, with time allowed for questions, comments, and discussion. Tulsidevi Maharani is the Mother of Devotion. This seminar will be via Zoom.

Community Picnic at Coburg Lake Reserve from 3 pm

Please join us on Monday for a community picnic and mellow bhajan (devotional singing) at Coburg Lake Reserve from 3.00 pm

Car parking is available off Lake Grove, which is accessed via Gaffney St, Coburg.
Everyone is welcome!

Bring folding chairs, picnic rugs, musical instruments, and vegetarian refreshments to share. Enter through the car park and look for flags. There is a great children's playground, so feel free to bring children to this family-friendly event. Looking forward to seeing some of your auspicious moon-like faces.
