DB: ISKCON will eventually have to allow for female gurus not necessarily because it wants to, but because it has to and it should. One day there will probably be all kinds of gurus; initiating gurus will be all kinds of people: gay, straight, old, young, male, female. ISKCON has to adapt to the times.
[PADA: That is what worries me, ISKCON will no longer have any connection to the teachings of Krishna and Prabhupada. We have already had all kinds of "new idea gurus" and its just not working out is it? The descriptions of the qualification of guru will not change with the times, at any time, guru is an eternal standard and eternal principle. ys pd]
