The Jagannatha Ratha Yatra is a 3,000-year-old annual chariot festival that originated in a small town, called Jagannatha Puri, on the eastern coast of India in the state of Orissa. It is a hallmark of Indian heritage and culture.

This extraordinary festival encompasses all the facets of the ancient and profound Vedic civilization, namely music, dance, food, art, colors, apparel, poetry, architecture, grandeur, wisdom and compassion, all of them harmoniously culminating in glorifying the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Jagannatha (Krishna).

Festival Programs Include:

• Chariot Procession (Everybody can participate by pulling the chariot)
• Sankirtana (Musical congregational chanting of the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra)
• Dance Performance
• Prasadam Feast (Sumptuous 10-course pure spiritualized vegetarian meal for everyone)
