Die to Live? / Bhakti Niskama Shanta / Mahatma / Revatinandana 09 25 24

Bhakti Niskama Shanta Maharaja: What does the phrase 'die to live,' often used by Om Visnupad Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaja, Founder Acharya of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, truly signify? Death marks a transition between planes.

Our mundane existence is characterized by a misguided self-identification with our physical bodies, resulting in a 'living to die' reality, driven by false ego. This pursuit is inherently self-destructive. In contrast, 'die to live' entails the surrender of false identity, revealing our true essence. This transformation necessitates submission to the Absolute, achievable through the guidance of Sadhu-Guru-Vaisnava.

By embracing their discipline and loving service, we gradually recognize our eternal servitude to the Absolute, yielding a profound and beautiful transformation.

PADA: Die to live? No idea what Sridhara Maharaja is going on about here. First, he sets up false gurus, over and over. And then the "dissenters" are getting banned, beaten, sued and killed, and whacked in general, never mind all the scandals, lawsuits, child abuse and other crimes his false gurus generate.

And he thinks he has the authority to set these things in motion because -- ok because he wants to have us dissenters -- die to live? I have to get whacked from his false gurus, to live? This makes absolutely no sense.

Yep, we are going to make false gurus, and yep, dissenters are going to be purged, maybe murdered, and all that will help the dissenters -- die to live. OK but they won't be living anymore, at least not here. But that will be fine because, they died -- to live. The dissenters might go back to Godhead, and maybe not, but there is no authority to send them packing from their current bodies.

Sridhara Maharaja also says "none should protest" his false gurus. OK that sets us up as targets when we protest, just like he set up dissenters in the 1940s to "die to live" because some of them were beaten and assassinated, and never mind the lawsuits, bad media etc. Sorry, this is not authorized. Us small time dissenting devotees are little teeny insignificant entities, and we should not be made into cannon fodder for the "greater cause" of establishing the worship of illicit sex with men, women and children, therefore we have to die -- so Sridhara's pedophile messiah's project can live.

This is what some people were saying at the time, in a war -- sometimes a few soldiers have to die for the greater good of the overall army. Great, who made us into soldiers to die in your wars? Sorry, none of us volunteered to be whacked in the 1940s, and we did not volunteer to be whacked in the 1980s. You guys volunteered us to participate in your war, i.e. your idea of establishing debauchees as messiahs, and then said -- ok now it is your time to -- die -- to live. Really?

Sorry, you people are nuts, and dangerous cult fanatic producing nuts too. You have no authority to create conditions where Vaishnavas have to die, in any way, shape or form. And that is why Srila Prabhupada says -- Sridhara Maharaja acted without authority. And so now, the higher authority will want to know -- why he and his minions were orchestrating having people -- die -- at all? Die to live? Hee hee, honestly people, where do they come up with this stuff?

Beware of Sahajiyaism in our society

Srila Bhakti Niskama Shanta Maharaja, Ph.D.

At present, after the sudden disappearance of Srila Acharyadev, we see in our society that many have adopted a naïve process of choosing someone as Guru based on some public opinion and rumours circulated by a cook and a room / dress cleaner (two personal servitors) of Srila Acharyadev. Has Srila Acharyadev ever given any instructions or directions to anyone to accept spiritual directions from those two personal servitors of Srila Acharyadev?

Has anyone considered the level of spiritual realization of those personal servitors of Srila Acharyadev? Are they spiritually qualified to give our mission its spiritual successor? Hardly anyone in our mission has considered all these things. On the other hand, they simply want to follow a pope without any consideration of how that pope is being selected.

PADA: Yep, Sridhara Maharaja never asked how did the 11 actually become appointed as gurus, after Srila Prabhupada said guru by appointment is bogus for 40 years? He accepted blindly without ever seeing any evidence.

We notice a significant difference in conception between Bimala Prasada (Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur) and his own brother (son of Srila Bhakti Vinoda Thakur), Lalita Prasada. Being a proponent of Diksha Guru Parampara, Lalita Prasad was a staunch opponent of the Bhagavat / Siksha Sampradaya concept that Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur was preaching in society.

PADA: Correct. Sridhara Maharaja said our idea of having proxies or ritviks (the shiksha parampara) is bogus, and we need to worship his living deviants as gurus. That is what he said, we need the living person, and these 11 are his living persons, never mind they had no qualifications.

People want to adopt an easy (sahaj) way to achieve the highest things and thus adopt cheap methods (shajiyaism).

PADA: Correct, the sahajiyas worship bogus persons as acharyas, which is what Sridhara Maharaja advocated.

Following Srila Saraswati Thakur, Srila Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar Maharaja has explained that Diksha is more or less a formal thing. Therefore, Srila Sridhar Maharaja has said that, according to his Guru Maharaja, Siksha is a more substantial thing. Srila Sridhar Maharaja has said that his Guru Maharaja considered them as Sahajiyas who have accepted the Diksha Guru line as the real Guru Parampara.

PADA: Right, so worship of Sridhara's 1936 guru was bogus, and worship of his post-1977 11 gurus is also bogus, or at best -- sahajiya. Because the sahajiyas make unqualified persons acharyas.

All these historical teachings are now completely forgotten, and many in our society have adopted Sahajiyaism by embracing the Diksha Guru lineage. It is very sad to see that the majority of people in our community have gone against the very foundational concept that our Gurus have practiced and preached. We have to pray for them, and because some are very passionate and adamant about following this Sahajiyaism, thus following the advice of Srila Sridhar Maharaja, we have to wish them good luck.

PADA: But Sridhara was the biggest cheer leader of making artificial diksha gurus in 1936, and after 1977.

HG Mahatma Das’ Health Update, September 25, 2024

Hare Krishna,

Jaya Srila Prabhupada!

The doctors have reported that the setbacks have been resolved. HG Mahatma Das is currently in the hospital, stable, and in a more favorable condition for a full recovery. It is still very early in his recovery process, so please kindly continue with your prayers and kirtans.

They are helping so much!

Radhapriya Devi Dasi

PADA: I have to say -- it always amazes me that when the leaders / founder fathers / defenders / apologists of the illicit sex with men, women and children guru sampradaya fall into bad health, as they do on a regular basis, then people pray for their good good health. Save these leaders. Meanwhile, I know ex-children who are victims of their regime who tell me, we are praying every day that all of them will leave the planet. Evidently, Krishna is getting opposing orders. From the looks of it, a lot of them are getting wiped out. ys pd

Chandra Dasi

Remembering my stepfather, Robert Cusimano also known as Revatinandana Das aka Shambhu.

January 20, 1947 - December 16, 2021.

He was a scholar, was offered a scholarship to Stanford but attended UC Berkeley and was a world class astrologer, a musician, a chef, and spent many years living the life of an ascetic monk.

But to me he was ultimately a first class gentlemen.

He had several articles published in the Back to Godhead magazine on the philosophical discourse of the nature of the soul and reincarnation. Most of which I only have read in the last few days. He spoke throughout Great Britain lecturing consciousness to college audiences and left a vast impact on many he met during those days.

He was a prominent ‘Sannyasa’ an ascetic or wandering monk, in the early days of the Hare Krishna movement and spent several years in his early 20’s in a renounced order of life, dedicating his life to learning and preaching about the ancient Vedic culture and spiritual teachings of India. His first cousin was the person responsible for bringing him out of the dirty commune conditions he was at the time living under and into the cleanliness of Temple living.

Where rising very early in the morning and bathing and offering prayers to the tulsi plants is the norm. Where the temple floors are wiped and mopped down daily. And where fruit and flower offerings are of the utmost importance. His cousin, known as Vishnujana Swami -- is famous for his melodic voice and kirtans. I still to this day will play his album on YouTube where he is singing in Sanskrit in glorification of Lord Krishna and it brings me so much peace of mind.

My stepfather was most humble and singlehandedly cooked a feast for an entire festival. He scrubbed toilets and acted as janitor at the London Temple he served in when everyone around him was more fixated on hobnobbing with the higher ups. He sat and ate with George Harrison of the Beatles and never once boasted about it to us kids, my mother only recently found out herself.

He -- for one reason or another -- eventually left his position and ended up in Hawaii where his only child, his sweet son Nila Chandra lived with his mother, Dear Pushpanjali. It was here in Hawaii that he met my beautiful mother. I admit I was hard on him in the beginning for I was only a young child who had recently had my family ripped apart and was not ready for someone else to take my father’s position.

In hindsight I wish so badly that I could have expressed my gratitude for his caring nature. To take a family of 4 children with 3 wildling boys and a wallflower shy daughter was no easy task. But he did so with chivalry and grace. There were no doubt times of roaring raging fights between us all but in the end he was most respectful. And I owe him the honor of sharing his story.

At least the little I know as he certainly left an impact on my life as well as my brothers. He could make an Indian samosa like no one else spending hours in the kitchen perfecting every batch. It was an absolute delight to bite into one.

He was socially awkward like so many highly intelligent folks are and I believe it was hard for him to carry on mundane conversations as his mind was moving at warp speed in a distant realm. He loved music and I can remember how he used to snap his fingers in the most goofy but fun loving way. It made me chuckle every time he’d do it.

He instilled a love of astronomy in my younger brother and a love of astrology in me. I can remember being so utterly in awe and excited hearing my astrological chart calculated and read by him. It was like a map of my life laid out before my young self. I still have the cassette tape that he recorded it on. And I still follow astrology in reverence of the stars and all the mystery and wisdom they carry with them.

He was truly a sannyasa in every sense, for he lived a simple peaceful life in the forests over the last two decades of his life in the most remote part of the Big island of Hawaii and did not own a computer or use a cell phone. There aren’t many souls left like him in this world.

And if I can so humbly share my favorite memory of him I recently came across after my younger brother Dhruva shared it with me. It is taken from an Interview of him describing his experience with the founder of the Hare Krishna movement, his Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada…

So I said “Prabhupada can you answer me a question about the consciousness of a pure devotee?” And he said yes, well he said “ask.” So I said, “Sometimes it may appear that a pure devotee is very very angry or very happy. How does that affect him?”

Prabhupada replied “the consciousness of a pure devotee is very very deep. It is like the ocean. Near the surface of the ocean there may be so many waves that are kicked up but as you go down even a few feet into the ocean you will find that it is very still.”

I understood what he was saying immediately. Prabhupada continued “so in this way the consciousness of a pure devotee is so deep that nothing really disturbs it. There may be some ripples on the surface but underneath it remains very very deep and still.” And I said “is it like that even at death?” And Prabhupada replied “yes.”

All glories to his recent departure, may his spirit carry on into the heavenly realm.

Was Srila Prabhupada Poisoned? / Mahatma Health Update 09 25 24

“Was Srila Prabhupada poisoned? Examining the new evidence”

PODCAST: Episode 142 – Thursday 26th September 2024

We’re delighted to welcome Dhira Govinda Prabhu as our guest on this week’s podcast.

A member of the global ISKCON community since 1980, he has held a wide range of positions from Temple President to ISKCON’s Book Distribution Coordinator in the Middle East, and from Temple Board of Directors Chairman to the role that he is probably most well-known for – that of being the founder (and first director) of ISKCON’s International Child Protection Office.

And today… he is one of the founders of the new ‘Justice for Srila Prabhupada Foundation’ – an organisation that is committed to shedding light on what ‘really happened’ that led to Srila Prabhupada’s physical departure from the world in November 1977.

After years of research, advances in information technology and forensic analysis, Dhira Govinda presents evidence to suggest that ISKCON’s Founder-Acharya was poisoned with homicidal intent.

In this week’s podcast, we discuss the evidence. All of which is available for public pursual at the Justice for Srila Prabhupada Foundation website:

PADA: Sheesh pilgrims. When we first announced the "poison tape" audio in 1997, we had no idea that all sorts of additional testimony and evidence would be later on added. At the time, not only the GBC's folks but so-called "ritviks" like Krishna Kant's IRM, Kamsahanta, Sanat, Mukunda and others were openly saying "PADA is a crazy mad man" and so on and so forth.

Sanat and Mukunda also insisted that I not have Nityananda work on the forensics, because they knew we would find other problems among their poisoner pals. Of course they also did not want me to work with Hansadutta to get original books, to save their book changer pals. In other words, a lot of people tried to block us when we introduced these issues. Of course even now people like Mathura Pati / Mathias sabji are saying PADA is a liar and crazy man, because he has to join kissing the jack boots of the Judas defenders.

Ummm, not so fast there little crickets! Maybe PADA is not a crazy mad man -- after all! Did that ever occur to you folks?

Anyway, the "poison issue" has now taken a sort of life of its own, and many people are on board with it, including people in the former Soviet states, Russia, China, Australia, Europe and etc. It is moving ahead, despite all these naysayers complaints. Of course, same thing with the book changes issue, molesting issue, and other issues, all of that is ALSO moving forward as well.

I congratulate Narada for helping bring myself and others onto his forum for us to speak out on some of these things. Bravo. Meanwhile someone else said to me, even if PADA is a mad man, sometimes it takes a mad man to tell the "sane" people the emperor has no clothes, because the sane people are too afraid of losing their precious social status to speak up and point out the obvious. Whereas the crazy guy has nothing to lose, so he will speak up, hee hee!

*HG Mahatma Das’ Health Update, September 24, 2024*

Hare Krishna,

Jaya Srila Prabhupada!

The doctors have reported that HG Mahatma Das is experiencing a setback in his recovery process, and his condition is very delicate. I don’t have more details at the moment.

Your prayers are very much appreciated. Please continue with your prayers and organize kirtans in your local communities for his smooth and successful recovery.

Radhapriya Devi Dasi

PADA: OK we never actually recover from pretending we are another Jesus and we can absorb other's sins acting as another diksha guru messiah of the Jagat. "Yes, as a matter of fact, me Jesus are equals." Not so fast there -- little teeny snail on my sidewalk!

And you will never "recover" from orchestrating ISKCON's children to worship your anal reconstructive surgery epidemic messiahs program, which caused numerous of those children to be starved, beaten, and horribly abused. We don't recover from any of that, other than, we go to Yamaraja and he places us in various hells so we can burn off these masses of sins.

But Mahatma is very proud of himself. He has made his illicit sex with men, women and children messiah's project to be an alleged "part of Krishna's guru parampara"; he has made many of his God brothers suffer terribly and then go to hell by encouraging them to be gurus and take sins; he has created an epidemic of child abuse by supporting the regime that orchestrated that process etc.

He has now got rid of almost all of the Western devotees so he could make his Hindu hodge podge out of ISKCON -- where my friend says -- 50% or more of these Hindus eat meat and 33% of them are mayavada. All this, so Mahatma could convert ISKCON into his homosexual, pedophile, intoxicated fool messiah's club, and a meat eating and mayavada hodge podge congregation religion, just what he wanted all along! And then he could have his homosexual and pedophile pals buried in samadhi, so children could worship these deviants as "previous acharyas."

OK well guess who is going to have to go to Yamaraja to take credit for all this? Yeah, so he is in bad health now, but his spiritual health has already tanked a long time ago, and now it is just catching up on the physical plane, just like it has for his other messiahs, such as Jaya-potato head. Good luck Mahatma, making an anal reconstructive surgery epidemic messiah's club means, the hounds of Yamaraja are simply drooling in anticipation of coming after your soul, to take you where you belong, and they will.

Wow, just saw another nurse testimony that she knows for sure "evil entities" are coming to take certain people's souls. She cannot see them, but she knows FOR SURE they are there, because her patients for sure see something horrible coming for them. And that is what Mahatma's future is, they will come for his soul, or they already are and it has not manifest fully yet ...

“CHAPTER 87: CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE (Cont.),

THEY ARE PRAYING FOR ME TO DIE

Nanda Kumar das testimony, continued: “The situation was very intense, very heavy. Prabhupada's body was frail. Baradraja was singing beautifully as he always did. [...] So, one day in Vrindavan Baradraja was singing for Prabhupada, and it was a somber mood. [...] Baradraja was emotional and his voice broke on a note. This person, who was a singer and a musician himself, elbowed Baradraja and laughed. He made fun of the mistake. I realized that I have a situation here. I have to decide what to do.

I'm Prabhupada's guard, and Prabhupada has told me that this person prays for his death. I see this person in that mood. What do I do? My alternatives were to either kill this person or to go to the senior God-brothers and share what I knew. Of course, the first one was out. I thought about the second one and realized that I wouldn't be heard. This person wields power that I don't have.

The third alternative was to leave because I couldn't be there and see that. So I left. At that time [Oct. 1977], Kirtanananda was sincerely spearheading a group of devotees who were begging Prabhupada to stay. Kirtanananda was crying, "Please Prabhupada, we can't carry on without you. We're not advanced enough, we need you here." Prabhupada yawned and said, "All right, I'll stay." Because Prabhupada said that, I thought he was going to stay. I didn't want to stir up trouble at this special time, and I couldn't watch it. So I left Vrindavan and left India, and two weeks later Prabhupada passed away.”

In 1977 Upendra was caring for Srila Prabhupada, who was surrounded by his disciples. According to Upendra, Srila Prabhupada said: “You are all standing here outwardly saying, ‘You can’t leave us at this time. What will we do without you? Who will finish the Bhagwatam?’ But inwardly you are rubbing your hands together thinking, ‘When will the old man die so we can spend his money?’

"Srila Prabhupada had spoken this between tears, and Upendra also cried. Upendra told Vatsara das what Srila Prabhupada had just said. Vatsara is a close friend of Vatsala das and Sashikala dasi, who related this incident in 2000.
In the Dec. 1980 Topanga Canyon talks, Tamal said: “Jayapataka read an ultimate point that Hansadutta Maharaja was praying for Prabhupada's death.

Sridhara Maharaja heard this and he said, ‘Yes, the same thing was there in my guru Maharaja's time. There was one disciple who guru Maharaja said was in the same mentality. My guru Maharaja chose to see the bright side. Yes, because he feels checked right now in his preaching determination. He wants to preach for me and for Krishna, and he cannot.’ The fact is that whatever we say, still Prabhupada named him [Hansadutta] after this incident to be a ritvik or a guru, according to your interpretation. I've been accused of the same thing. ‘That you tried to kill Prabhupada.’" (Srila Prabhupada’s Hidden Glories 1.518)

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/civilians-leave-lebanon-in-mass-exodus-as-israel-bombards-hezbollah/ss-AA1r7qFJ?

LEBANON IS A MESS

PADA: Yes prabhu, Lebanon is another classic case where almost all the money is going for the military machine, at the expense of the citizens. Agreed, the military equipment and missiles situated there are worth probably hundreds of millions, if not billions, but there is not enough money to fund keeping the electrical power stations operating for the citizens, and there has been a series of power black outs etc. Never mind there are a lot of very poor people there who have very little. But there is always billions on hand for weapons.

And now they are getting even more sophisticated missiles, which probably cost millions each, whereas there has been hardly no $$$ millions for their own electrical power generation. And now there are hundreds of thousands of refugees leaving the south, many of whom did not even have time to take a bed with them etc.

So now all these refugees need all sorts of supplies, such as beds, clothes, food, water, medicine, transport, electrical supply and so on, and how will that be supplied and -- paid for? There has not been any actual planning for the welfare of these citizens.

Of course, if Israel knocks out the few power generators still operating, the whole place will go into darkness, and retreat back into the non-industrial age, which may happen if this continues. Again, hard to see how that benefits the citizens. Sorry, that is just going to increase the misery of the citizens and not help them.

That does not mean I favor Israel, it means I do not favor causing trouble for these citizens. The civilian by-standers should not become implicated in the plots and schemes of the leaders, but hey it is Kali Yuga.

Yeah, it is like ISKCON. There is a spare $100,000,000 laying around for lawyers and lawsuits, but what about money for caring for the women, children, elders, cows etc.? Dried up, to be spent mainly on legal defense / offense / stuff.

Speaking of which, another departed devotee's family is in financial distress. There does not seem to be hardly any provisions for caring for the living or the departed citizens, but it seems -- the ISKCON elites always have the latest Apple laptops? ys pd

RAGHUNATH (CAPPO)

I have a question, why does the gbc and iskcon allow ragunath "the wisdom of the sages" podcast guy to bring people to take initiation from dhanudhar? I see that he is very involved in preaching but most of the yoga people he brings on his tours eventually get initiated by dhanudhar. Why is he allowed to do this?

PW: We have a saying that if you don't know what it's about, it means it's about money, and when you have money, it's easier to control and manipulate people.

KR: They are not acting under an official ISKCON banner or management so I don't think it matters in their case.

May be and image of 1 person and text that says 'RAGHUNATH CAPPO'

PR: If they want to take diksa from an abuser, it's on them. They chance to look into his history online.

PADA: My friend -- who still works part time at ISKCON said to me, if ISKCON ever actually cleaned house, and took out all the bad leaders and their followers, there would be no one left in the house. It would become a vacant building overnight. Of course, it is nearly a vacant house already, because people are voting with their feet. ys pd

SR: I don't know if the GBC and ISKCON "allow" what you describe since there is a 2007 GBC Resolution stating that anyone with a CPO Decision against them can not be an initiating guru. However, if we look around, we will see some ISKCON leaders promoting, endorsing, and defending Dhanurdhara.

NC: He’s pretty much funded via his book “From Punk to Monk” and these “Yoga/Kirtan retreats” you see so many Kulis try lure people into. You pay a few thousand, he pockets the majority, gives small donations to local Indians and at the end you get to meet Radhanatha Swami. Rinse / Repeat. Also there are Kulis who are charging for music lessons as well as one devotee charging for Japa lessons. They all lead to Radhanatha or IDS. Stay away.

BHIMA PRASAD DASA

Dear Ohana & Friends,

It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of my brother-in-law, Bhima Prasada Das, on September 15th. He was an extraordinary individual, a "life force" cherished for his spiritual devotion, love, and dedication as a wonderful father, cherished son, and loving husband.

We are deeply mourning, particularly my sister, Fontaine, and their son, Loki. Your prayers, thoughts, and understanding are crucial during this trying period.
Please respect our need for time and space. Details of memorial services will be communicated once available.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
Yours truly,

NEW TALAVAN

BB: I lived at New Talavana for about ten months, from November of 2016 until September of 2017. I had not even lived there for a month before I started regularly buying weed from one of the residents there. I smoked almost every single day that I lived there. It was not hard to find weed there, and it was not especially expensive.

I've heard stories, believable stories, about how all that land was financed through cannabis sales. Anyway, I did not drink there at New Talavana but I sure smoked. A lot of devotees did, especially among the youth. And I technically did not live on New Talavana property, which is how I was able to smoke so much. Almost every day I lived there, for months and months, I smoked a lot of grass at New Talavana. A lot of grass.

It was easier to get your hands on than booze, weed was. The closest liquor store was miles away, but weed was easy to come by right there. Yep. Two hundred an ounce, very high quality.

POSTED BY HARIDAS THAKUR ACBSP:

(For those who dont know, Kurma Rupa had a cowcare center for many years, in Vrindaban that still continues, and was well known for giving shelter to injured and homeless cows in the Dhama. He was a great devotee.)

A little while ago I received this copy of a letter written by my good friend Kurma Rupa in 2012.

I thought it educational and interesting enough to post, so hear it is (unedited).

"RUMINATIONS"

BY: KURMA RUPA DASA (ACBSP) Jan 14, 2012 — VRINDAVAN, INDIA.

After working with cows in close proximity for twelve years I'm convinced that substantial telepathic communication takes place among them. Likewise I'm convinced that cows send thoughts to humans as well and if we tune into the right frequency, we can effectively receive non-verbal messages from them. A recent example: A street bull I know well entered the small garden to be served.

That cold morning I offered him hay sprinkled with hot ginger tea, gur, flour and bran, a mixture he most relishes. After consuming his fill, he sniffed the ground and found a suitable place to sit and ruminate. I sat next to him to chant japa and relish his peaceful company. I thought, "How fortunate am I that I can serve Dharma Personified in Vrindavan."

The thought he sent me was, "I am grateful to you for that wonderful meal. I especially liked the tidbits of ginger and gur as it takes the chill out of this winter morning. "In return I offer you this to carefully ponder:

A former sannyasi recently attributed his fall from grace to the coercion by his godbrothers to take celibacy vows though he was not fit. Later, his godbrothers again coerced him to take on administrative duties which he lacked the nature to perform. Again the same godbrothers ordered him to accept disciples, though he knew he could not set the proper example to guide them.

Following their advice forced him into constant travel, which again went against his grain. His struggle to follow their insalubrious advice for thirty-five years caused him such mental anguish that he could no longer carry out his spiritual responsibilities and collapsed.

Yet in his resignation letter he encouraged his disciples to take shelter of the very same godbrothers who misguided him during his entire monastic career.

Does this make any sense?" asked the noble bull, ruminating with half-closed eyes. My brow wrinkled as I prepared to answer in the negative. He caught it,
swallowed and continued: "It makes sense only if you understand the silent rule of the institutional power elite: THE CARDINAL SIN IS TO CHALLENGE OR UNDERMINE OUR AUTHORITY.

All other sins are pardonable. "Since the fallen sannyasi accepts the silent rule he knows that when the contents of his scrotum, prostate gland and bank account become depleted, he will be welcomed back to bolster the faith of the flock in the fallible elite and again earn the privilege of being on the institutional payroll.

I pondered this as I watched him regurgitate a large wad of rumen into his mouth and studied the muscle between his eye and the base of his ear expanding and contracting in time with his chewing. The bull swallowed and concluded, "The highest Truth is to distinguish reality from illusion for the welfare of all. Such Truth uproots the threefold miseries." Then he withdrew and I understood the transmission was over.

While I cannot verify the accuracy of the bull's thoughts nor claim with certainty that they were received without distortion, I think they are something to chew on.

PEAS IN A PADA

HINDU-BINDU

PADA: Yeah my friend, who still part time serves at ISKCON, says he is good friends with many of the India congregration people. He says at least 50% -- or more -- still eat meat. And they regularly go to meat restaurants, and some of them own and run meat restaurants, and some of them manage places like Subway sandwich stores etc. In fact, he says one of the higher up managers in the ISKCON temple "management beard" team there -- is in fact -- an owner of a Subway sandwich franchise store.

Meanwhile, he says many of the congregation people are not clear if Krishna is a demigod, or not, or if some of the India swamis are incarnations of Krishna, because there is no real emphasis on training people correctly. And he says if it was not for a few hired Bengalis from Jayapataka's zone at his temple, there would be no morning program, at all. And these hired Bengalis are also not really dedicated to Srila Prabhupada's teachings, because they can leave and go work at a meat restaurant when they get their green cards.

As some already have done. So he says, people seem to have no clue that ISKCON is now an official compromised Hindu congregation hall business, which has little -- if any -- connection to Srila Prabhupada's original mission. And the more that they keep placing more and more Hindus on the ISKCON managerial boards, as they are doing just about everywhere, the more watered down it gets -- every day.

And that is why Srila Prabhupada told us, if the Hindus take over my mission, it will become a business. A business has no interest in making itself into a religion, it does not make money the same way. Guru Prasad swami was crying many years ago that he has to "manage everything myself," he has no good senior managers -- well yeah he took the seniors out -- and thus he has to manage everything himself, and so they expanded his zone and gave him more stuff to manage, when he already says he can barely manage what he already has. OK, it is a business. They will never make any of us the managers, because we want it to be a religion and not a business. ys pd

LOKANATH HAS ADMITTED

Incredibly, Lokanath has admitted his wrongdoing in writing

https://lokanath.net/lokanath-swami-child-molestation-admission-letter-2010/

And here is the whole story, including the actual words of Lokanath’s victim, Satya, who has grown up living with the shame of what Lokanath did to her:

https://groups.google.com/g/istagosthi/c/WQGn4Vr4bg0

Yet, when after his own admission has been shared on public media, Lokanath demands a quarter of a million dollars for his lost business. Huh? What “businesses” do sannyasis have? Oh, right! It’s not business, it’s “reputation.” I get it!

In ISKCON, sannyasa is seen as quite a different species of animal from the traditional understanding defined by Vedic culture. Left to right (l) “Hmmm, how to collect $270,000? (center) When the cover of a book is cut-and-paste, how can anyone with a teaspoon of sense believe the contents? (r) Hi$ Holine$$ Lokanath $wami cutting the guru profile. In ISKCON, the householders obey the rules, they live austerely and humbly, and contribute their hard-earned money to sannyasis, so that their “gurus” can live like kings and mercifully spend the free money they get on their luxurious lifestyles.

Hmmm... And now it looks like, Old Lokanath needs a quarter of a million bucks because the truth of his own admission hurts so badly that the money has stopped coming in. So … he is suing a mom whose real interest is in protecting her children from predators dressed as renunciants.

Go figure — this sort of twisted, backward scenario can only happen in Kali Yuga, and ISKCON has had its fill of sexy swamis and child rapists that are more than happy to separate you from your money while the GBC sits on its collective thumbs.

Hare Krishna. Your A.I.S.F. Team

After publicly sharing documents of Lokanath's child molestation case, Lokanath "Swami" sued myself and another child protection advocate Damodara Dasa in November 2022 for defamation. Defamation laws in India are different than other countries like the United States where truth is the best defense. “Indian criminal defamation law appears, in both letter and spirit, to have become only more regressive since it was first enacted in 1860. Truth is not an absolute defense.”

“India and other major democracies have taken two different approaches in the area of defamation law. In the U.K. and U.S., defamation law has been transformed.

In early 2024, a judge in the High Court of Delhi ordered Lokanath to withdraw his lawsuit, so he did. Lokanath has now filed another defamation lawsuit against us, asking us to pay 2.25 Crores (about US$270,000).In this lawsuit, Lokanath is disturbed that "several such people in and from Delhi... have personally approached the Plaintiff [Lokanath] discussing the defamatory contents..." and that we are "impugning his character and discussing the same with other people associated

With ISKCON and Hare Krishna movement in Delhi thereby causing huge damage to the reputation of the Plaintiff in Delhi."What Damodara and I (and others) have done is publicly asked ISKCON leaders to follow their own rules with Lokanath and give his child molestation case to their ISKCON Child Protection Office. Or remove him from leadership, per the ISKCON GBC's 2018 Resolution that child abusers can not hold positions of leadership in ISKCON.

We also publicly shared this information for people who were taking spiritual guidance from Lokanath, or who were considering taking spiritual guidance from him, as this information might inform their decision. I have heard many stories of Lokanath's disciples wishing they had known he was a child molester before they took initiation from him, as it would have impacted their decision. Please help us in this cause for child protection and free speech by donating and sharing.

A Chronological Cornucopia of Confusion

IRM

Back To Prabhupada

When a hoax is perpetrated via a series of fabrications, invented as one goes along, one fallout will be that even those who are supposed to be upholding the hoax will not be sure exactly what they are supposed to be doing, and why. The Great Guru Hoax in ISKCON exemplifies this phenomenon, with the guru hoaxers descending into confusion, contradiction and outright absurdity, the further the hoax continues.

We detail below, how from the very beginning right up until the present day, the guru hoaxers have become so afflicted with confusion and madness due to the continuation of this offensive guru circus, that they have difficulty distinguishing whether they are coming or going, and indeed whether or not they are even gurus!

We weren't sure - 1977

"Srila Prabhupada's disappearance left us struggling to understand exactly how to continue the initiation process. […] As usual, I appeared to vacillate between the strong opinions of others."

Satsvarupa Das Goswami, self-authorised guru, November 17 - 29 1977 GN Press, 1997

We are told repeatedly that Srila Prabhupada had 'clearly' instructed his disciples to become successor gurus. Yet we see here the founder of the Guru Hoax, Satsvarupa Das, admitting that they had no idea what they should be doing, and instead he simply flip-flopped depending on what others were saying.

We did the greatest disservice - 1980

"Actually Prabhupada never appointed any gurus. He appointed eleven ritviks. He never appointed them gurus. Myself and the other GBC have done the greatest disservice to this movement the last three years because we interpreted the appointment of ritviks as the appointment of gurus."

(Tamala Krishna Goswami, self-authorised guru, Pyramid House confession, Topanga Canyon, December 3rd, 1980)

Three years later, another architect of the Guru Hoax, Tamal Krishna Goswami, admits that actually they had only ever been appointed ritviks, and taking this appointment of ritviks as the appointment of gurus, was the "greatest disservice to this movement". Yet this appointment of gurus remains in place to this date, since these ritviks, such as Tamala Krishna Goswami himself, never relinquished their appointed guru posts (unless having been caught in gross illicit activity).

Rather, these self-admitted bogus gurus stayed in their falsely appointed posts to help authorise all the new ISKCON gurus which followed subsequently, and three of them are still at large today. Therefore, the "greatest disservice to this movement" also remains in place to this day in ISKCON.

Guru falldown perplexity

"And when it comes to the subject of gurus, who trusts the spiritual guidance of the GBC? […] To boost your confidence: On one hand the GBC encourages you to be initiated by a bona fide, authorized ISKCON guru and worship him like God. On the other, it has an elaborate system of laws to invoke from time to time when your ISKCON-authorized guru falls down. One might perhaps be forgiven for thinking that for all the laws and resolutions the role of guru is still a perplexity even for the GBC."

(HH Jayadvaita Swami, GBC voted-in guru, Where the Ritvik People Are Right, 1996)

As the unauthorised gurus began to rapidly fall down, the GBC invented a bunch of "laws" detailing how gurus can fall, how they can be "rectified", how we can still worship them in a limited way whilst they are fallen, how we can worship them in an unlimited way later on following their "rectification", and so on.

Stopping initiation by initiating even more - 1999

"After Harikesa fell down in 1998, in 1999 I proposed that it's obvious that we are going in the wrong direction. Now, when you go wrong, when you know you're going in the wrong direction, what do you do? You stop to find the right way. So for the time-being, let's stop giving initiation and find out what is actually the problem and what is the solution to this problem, whether we can find a solution and until then, let us stop."

(Bhakti Caru Swami, GBC voted-in guru, recording, July 20th, 2003, Toronto)

Following another big guru falldown, Bhakti Charu Swami ("BCS") admits this meant they should stop initiating right away, as they were "going in the wrong direction". To this end he decided to lead the way by setting the example, by immediately conducting the biggest initiation ceremony seen in ISKCON in fifteen years!:

Largest Initiation since days of Bhagavan before international assembly
By Vipramukhya Swami

(Bhaktivedanta Manor, UK) - August 14, 1999:

Bhakti Charu Swami, Radhanath Swami and Bhakti Vikasa Swami initiated 32 devotees this morning at Bhaktivedanta Manor,
England, the day before the London Rathayatra. It was the largest initiation to take place at Bhaktivedanta Manor [...]"

(Chakra website)

And yet BCS has the cheek to pontificate regarding "truth and honesty":

"A vaisnava is honest and truthful. Therefore he is fearless."
(BCS Letter, April 3rd, 2007)

The definition of "acharya", or spiritual master, is "one who teaches by example". Since BCS's "example" has shown to be diametrically opposed to what he "teaches", we can safely assume that he is not qualified in any way to act as an "acharya". And by his own definition of honesty and truthfulness, he does not even qualify as a Vaisnava either, having confessed that the current initiation system in ISKCON is completely wrong and should stop altogether; and yet he continues initiating in large numbers to this current day, never having stopped to "find the right way", preferring instead to "continue going in the wrong direction".

Am I saying I am a guru? - 2005

Sankarshan Das, a GBC-voted-in guru, gets confused over whether he is claiming he is a guru or not:

"I just visited your site for the first time. I can't believe it! The way you promote yourself as a bonafide guru, even selling your own picture."
(E-mail from John Garcia to Sankarshan Das Adhikari, 14/10/2005)

In reply, Sankarshan Das states:

"So far as I know I am not advertising that I am a guru. Kindly point out to me where I am advertising that I am a guru and I shall see about changing it."
(E-mail from Sankarshan Das Adhikari to John Garcia, 15/10/2005)

However, the above statement is made in relation to his website on which he says:

""Thought for the Day" is brought to you by Sankarshan Das Adhikari, author of The Ultimate Self Realization Course (TM) and an authorized spiritual master in the Brahma - Madhva - Gaudiya sampradaya, the world's oldest lineage of gurus."
(Sankarshan Das Adhikari website, emphasis added - archived)

In addition, our confused "sum total of the demigods" ISKCON guru also states:

"Srila Prabhupada personally told me that I could advertise myself as a spiritual master, and you are telling me that I should not. Should I follow you or should I follow Srila Prabhupada?"
(E-mail from Sankarshan Das Adhikari to John Garcia, 25/10/2005)

So if Srila Prabhupada had actually told Sankarshan Das Adhikari to advertise himself as a spiritual master, why did he initially claim he did not follow this supposed advice and state that "I am not advertising that I am guru"?

Should we be called gurus? - 2006

"[…] 'Spiritual masters', I hate to use the word, I don't like it so much I would rather prefer sannyasis, senior vaisnavas, GBCs; when they are preaching in public they should be advertised, but such advertisement is necessary but not on the basis of their being gurus"
(Sivarama Swami [SRS], "GBC resolutions on the worship of guru", podcast July 21st, 2006)

Faith in the ISKCON guru system has now reached such a low, that an ISKCON guru himself actually hates to use the word "guru" to refer to himself, and prefers that they are called anything but this! And yet another ISKCON leader says that "guru" is not even a position in ISKCON, though, in contradiction with SRS, it is alright to at least "advertise" it as such:

"The event, staged by the students, was advertised as: 'Interview with a Guru' which made me smile considering my previous blog on the use of the word in ISKCON. However, this was advertising and not social designation."
(Kripamoya Das, The Vaishnava Voice, October 12th, 2007)

So confused are they about their crumbling guru system, they cannot even agree what status, if at all, should be given to the "guru" title!

Grappling with being a guru - 2007

"I have grappled with being a diksa guru […] I've put out a public moratorium on carrying out further diksa initiations. I'm stopping at about 100 disciples. I'm not spiritually advanced enough to have more."
(HH Mukunda Goswami, "Vyasa Puja" offering to HH Jayapataka Swami, 2007)

Thus, having been artificially elevated by the GBC to the position of a diksa guru (initiating spiritual master) who is worshipped as Srila Prabhupada's successor, HH Mukunda Goswami now tells us that imitating Srila Prabhupada's position is something he has been "grappling" with, and further that he would cease to function as a spiritual master should his disciple headcount exceed 100.

We are unaware of any teaching from Srila Prabhupada which states that a bona fide spiritual master "grapples" with being a spiritual master. Indeed, the very definition of a bona fide spiritual master is that he is a completely self-realised soul.

Gurus are actually ritviks! - 2007

"If for some unfortunate reason gurus leave ISKCON, at least the institutional empowerment doesn't go with them, it stays here, and devotees should be wise enough and selective enough in that case to stay in Srila Prabhupada's line, and Srila Prabhupada's direct service is going on."
(Sivarama Swami (SRS) Initiation Lecture, Bhaktivedanta Manor, January 7th, 2007, emphasis added)

Here an ISKCON guru tries to justify why ISKCON devotees should remain in ISKCON, even if their guru hoaxers fall down by claiming that the "institutional empowerment" of the initiation conferred upon disciples does not leave with the bogus gurus when they themselves leave ISKCON. But this would mean that the real empowerment for the initiation obviously cannot come from the bogus gurus themselves, but from some other source, since nothing changes even if your "guru" leaves - your initiation stays intact.

However, this can only happen if the "initiator" is simply a functionary for the initiation ceremony, and not a bona fide diksa guru himself - and such a functionary, who simply imparts an initiation without affecting the status of the initiation even if he himself later leaves ISKCON, is called a "RITVIK". Hence, SRS is here conceding the ritvik argument in order to try and keep hapless disciples, whose "gurus" may deviate in the future, to stay in ISKCON.

SRS also claims that one can give "direct service" to Srila Prabhupada, even if there is no longer any connection to the "guru" who "initiated" you. This again means that actually Srila Prabhupada must be one's diksa Guru, since we do not require an intermediary guru through which to DIRECTLY serve Srila Prabhupada. The ability to render DIRECT service to a Guru, even though one is not connected to the person who "initiated" one, can only happen if the "initiator" in question was a "RITVIK" who initiated on behalf of the Guru to whom we are actually performing the DIRECT service.

Conclusion

So from start to finish, the gurus themselves admit that:

a) They struggled to know what should be done.

b) What they did was the greatest disservice to the movement, a disservice which continues to this present day.

c) A whole series of seemingly perplexing laws are needed to "manage" gurus.

d) They should have stopped initiating as they were going in the wrong direction.

e) They are not sure if they are calling themselves gurus, or better still, don't call us gurus at all!

f) They are grappling with being gurus, and thus have decided to stop when they reach a certain number of disciples.

g) We can understand that when the guru falls down, this does not matter since he is effectively no more than a ritvik!

Such self-confessed uncertainty by ISKCON's Governing Body is only to be expected when one is trying to prop up a guru hoax, rather than institute the ritvik system that was actually prescribed by Srila Prabhupada for ISKCON. Such madness and confusion can only result when one fabricates an illegal guru system in direct disobedience to the order of Srila Prabhupada; such confusion could certainly not arise if one was actually following the perfect orders of Srila Prabhupada, to keep him as the only diksa Guru for ISKCON.

Ukraine BBT Imbroglio / Adikarta Melt Down / Dhira Govinda Writes 9 22 24

Don't let the material energy fool you.
I am always around -- here, there and everywhere.
And I always will be.

UKRAINE UPDATE

GBC ISKCON Ukraine has banned the sale of Prabhupada's books published by ritviks. National Council 6.09.2024

Agenda:

2. Ritviks and BBT books. Resolution:

2. Temple presidents and yatra leaders (as well as book distributors) in Ukraine and Moldova are prohibited from distributing and/or purchasing books (articles, lectures, talks, etc.)), since this, in particular, violates the current copyrights of BBT. The decision was taken unanimously."

PADA: We have some devotees in these areas who are distributing original books, and the GBC's molester messiah's project's folks are starting to take notice. Of course -- the GBC leaders of Ukraine want the person (Jayadvaita swami) who says our gurus are maybe falling into illicit sex with men, women and children -- to edit their books.

Sounds like a good plan! I think they forgot to mention that their gurus maybe might also be engaged in sex with goats! Yep, the person who says Krishna's successors are often debauchees -- needs to edit their books!

Meanwhile, some of Purujit's folks are seemingly coming to a dead end. They rejected the 1972 Gita, then they found out Purujit's Gita also contains errors, so now they are not able to advertise any Gita at all. Dead end. He is creating more problems than solutions. Sorry! The 1972 Gita is still the best tool in the tool shed, and it has a proven track record of making many devotees. No other editions even come close.

Anyway, we have some brave folks in Ukraine who are preaching that Srila Prabhupada is the actual acharya, and we should read his original books, and they are making progress, which is why the Ukraine GBC / homosexual / pedophile / molester messiah's program is starting to harass them.

ADIKARTA MELT DOWN

OH oh! Adikarta says we should not be too quick to judge the fellow members of his anal reconstructive surgery epidemic messiah's club! Yep! Who knows, maybe training children to be worshiping illicit sex with men, women and children as their messiahs lineage -- and / or worshiping homosexual pedophiles in samadhis etc is a good idea! Who knows!

Nobody should pre-judge all this as a bad idea! Maybe the members of his pedophile messiah's club are pure devotees, who can say! Ummm, we know people who would say -- these folks are all servants of a Satanic child sacrifice cult -- and they would pre-judge them. I also know that some mundane media people think these people are all diabolical agents of Beelzebub.

Did I forget to mention that a group of Krishna kids were sitting together at a recent program, and they were smoking pot together etc. and we think -- this is because -- Adi Karta's program has made a mess and no small amount of trauma of their existence. And he thinks we should not pre-judge the people who made this mess, or who enabled it, or who cheer lead it, or who are the next wave voted into it?

Did I also forget to mention, I was told some of these kids are living a dangerous life being drug dealers. They were once babies in the hands of our religion, and Adi Karta's program took them to this state. And we should not judge what happened here.

Adi Karta and Rucira have acted as cheer leaders for their anal reconstructive surgery epidemic messiah's club, which Lord Yamaraja has already judged them for. Of course, the dogs of Yamaraja have already been biting up the other members of this group, like Gopal Krishna swami, who helped bury a known homosexual pedophile in a samadhi in the dham. Yeah, we should not judge, but if we don't do it for ourselves, then Yamaraja will do the judging for us.

I just captured a teeny tiny version of a daddy long legs today, grabbed him between my fingers, because it was the only method I had handy, and took him outside, and I was glad to see him run off unharmed. Yep, that is what happens when we make deviants into messiahs, we go down to that platform. And our already insignificant selves become all the more insignificant by Krishna's arrangement.

The Weightiest Argument

by Dhira Govinda dasa

"Leaving one or both 'initiated's will strongly imply that the use of the phrases 'direct disciple' and even 'accepted [as his disciple]' indicate formal initiation as we know it in ISKCON, which is far from the truth...This last was the weightiest argument, in my view, for changing the passage" [Letter excerpt from BBT representative regarding the change on Sri-Caitanya-caritamrta page 1].

"The revision is small and in itself, we believe, of no great consequence" [Jayadvaita Swami, regarding the revision on Sri-Caitanya-caritamrta, page 1].

In May, 2005 I fortuitously encountered Jayadvaita Maharaja at a Sunday feast program in Alachua, and he shared with me about recent, somewhat extended deliberations, and conclusions, of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT) directors concerning the revision on the first page of Sri-Caitanya-caritamrta. In July, 2005 I received the article that he wrote, on behalf of the BBT, about this matter.

This article is now apparently receiving increased attention. Jayadvaita Maharaja wrote "In particular, Dhira Govinda Prabhu questioned it and asked us to reconsider it. We took his request seriously." The BBT directors did devote extended hours to this topic, and I sincerely appreciate their earnest attention to the matter.

My perspective is that the revision is of profound consequence. Perhaps of even greater moment is the fact that the BBT directors believe that the revision is "in itself,... of no great consequence.”

On June 16, 2000, about half a year after he wrote the letter from which the excerpt at the start of this posting is taken, the BBT representative who had written "This last was the weightiest argument...", wrote to me as follows:

"Aside from the passage itself, I can easily see the following syllogism flowing from your notes on diksa: Diksa is really the imparting of transcendental knowledge. Srila Prabhupada is the pre-eminent imparter of transcendental knowledge for all generations of ISKCON devotees, now and in the future.

"So Srila Prabhupada is giving diksa to all who take knowledge from his books, tapes and other media. He who gives diksa is the diksa-guru. One is enjoined to have only one diksa-guru because the acceptance of more than one is strictly forbidden in the sastra. Therefore Srila Prabhupada is the only diksa-guru for all ISKCON devotees for the next ten thousand years.

"I don't think I want to go down that road."

[end of letter excerpt from BBT representative]

I feel compelled to state that this article is not about whether "Srila Prabhupada is the only diksa-guru for all ISKCON devotees for the next ten thousand years." My views about Srila Prabhupada's relationship with the members of his movement are expressed in Srila Prabhupada: The Prominent Link (available at http://geocities.com/pointofsurrender/index.htm) and other essays.

My original correspondence with BBT representatives concerning the book change on the first page of Sri-Caitanya-caritamrta is available in Appendix C of the second printing of Srila Prabhupada: The Prominent Link, and a short chapter discussing ramifications of this change is included as Chapter Three in Srila Prabhupada: The Prominent Link.

This article is about an apparent knowledge filter that is active in decisions regarding revisions to Srila Prabhupada's books. From what I am able to discern, the psychology underlying the emendation under discussion embraces a priori assumptions regarding which roads may be traversed. Rather than impartially presenting Srila Prabhupada's words with an eagerness to discover which roads open, there seems to be an attitude, albeit subconscious, of pre-determining which paths are permissible for visitation, and accordingly adjusting Srila Prabhupada’s writings.

While recognizing the attempts of the BBT representatives to transparently represent Srila Prabhupada, it seems that in this instance Srila Prabhupada’s clear intentions are obscured for the reader due to a filter composed of presuppositions. These assumptions perhaps have not been closely examined, or at least are not readily apparent to many current and future readers of Srila Prabhupada’s books.

In an article dated May 6, 2006, Bala dasa Prabhu similarly addresses the topic. “This is a very troubling development for yet another reason. For this justification is laying the ground for making ANY further change to Srila Prabhupada's teachings that the GBC deems fit." Notwithstanding the distinction between the GBC and BBT, Bala dasa’s essential point seems to be a caution regarding the peril implied by application over time of this “weightiest argument” to revising Srila Prabhupada’s books.

Apart from future considerations of damage caused by this gatekeeper mentality, I believe it relevant to contemplate present effects. The revision to the first page of Sri-Caitanya-caritamrta (CC) is one of thousands of changes to Srila Prabhupada’s books. Perhaps the knowledge filter has been productive in more than this one case. Maybe it has had its effect in two or three, or perhaps dozens, of the changes to Srila Prabhupada’s books. We might fruitfully deliberate on the influence this has had on the Vaisnava society.

I suggest that sober reflection on the substance of this one change, to CC page 1, and the paradigm of thought that engendered this change, would tremendously impact the philosophical, political, economic, social and spiritual culture of persons and groups that are influenced by the consciousness and determinations of the BBT and GBC. Acknowledgement of this “great consequence” by the BBT directors, or any one of them, would in itself provide momentum for this impact, and would launch torpedoes at embedded institutional structures.

In his Foreword to Srila Prabhupada: The Prominent Link Ambarisa dasa Prabhu quotes Herbert Spencer. “There is principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all information, which is proof against all arguments, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance. That is contempt prior to investigation.” Contemporary ISKCON policy and thought as a basis for changing Srila Prabhupada’s books carries serious risk of “contempt prior to investigation.” Such a strategy seems to be dedicated to institutional preservation more than to authentically representing Srila Prabhupada. I assert that we may trust that authentic representation of Srila Prabhupada is the strongest assurance of protection, integrity and healthy expansion that an organization may enjoy.

Thoughts and Prayers / Kutichak Departs / Kashava Funeral / Book changes 09 21 24

Challenging this Person is called:
A futile endeavor.

Thoughts and prayers / AMERICA's GUN CULTURE

Oh oh, another cherub faced child (15 years old girl) has been charged with murder. She was a little hostile to her mom, and maybe a little crazy. OK, so why was she, and a number of other cherub faced assailants, given access to a loaded gun? No one can spot the problem here?

And whenever kids are taken out with guns at a school, usually by other kids, the solution is always "thoughts and prayers." But when someone tries to take out a politician, then he gets millions of dollars of added armed security, more snipers on the roof, and thicker glass on his limousine. Oh, you mean -- thoughts and prayers are only good for protecting children -- but more snipers are needed to protect the politicians? Yeepers! Yep, thought that is what you were saying.

Same type thing as ISKCON. The children's lives were messed up and badly. Are we going to fund an out reach program to help the ones who are suffering now? Well no, but they do have our thoughts and prayers!

KUTICHAK DEPARTS

It’s with a heavy heart that I share the sudden passing of my father, Kutichak Das (Francis Bolte), from a heart attack. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humor, goofy jokes and tall tales. He was a devout Hare Krishna devotee who dedicated much of his life to his faith, and was always preaching, even in his final days.

Nothing can prepare you for the death of a loved one, but the idea that death isn’t our final resting place brings some comfort. I’m reminded of this verse from the Bhagavad Gita: “The soul is neither born, nor does it ever die; nor having once existed, does it ever cease to be. The soul is without birth, eternal, immortal, and ageless.” I’d like to think of his soul as embarking on its next adventure, that it’s not the end, but a new beginning.

Thank you to everyone who was a good friend to Kuti. I am forever grateful for the impact you made on his life, and for creating a community for him.

PADA: Kutichak said he was happy that PADA was taking the GBC to task. Anyway! God speed spirit soul! ys pd

INDIA ARMS UKRAINE / SPUTNIK / KREMLIN POOL

According to Reuters, the Italian defense systems manufacturer is purchasing empty missiles in India, filling them with explosives, and sending them to Ukraine. Vladimir Putin is highly dissatisfied with this, as he was counting on strengthened trade relations with India and influence over its economy.

As reported by Reuters, India has been supplying artillery ammunition to Ukraine for over a year through European countries. Vladimir Putin is obviously not pleased with this. The Kremlin has repeatedly pressed for a halt to this trade.
In July, this issue was discussed in a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

PADA: I do not take one sentence out of the context in any book, especially one line from a book, or as you are doing, a few words from an entire sentence, even from one purport among many others, or one book from a series of books. I understand the whole process is to make ourselves Krishna's servants, and everyone else who reads that book has got the same message.

I understand that some errors were made in the 1972, and we were not able to correct them because we are not able to due to the licence we have with the BBT. However, there were also tons of technical errors in the original Bhagavatams, but I loved those books and still do.

In other words, I understand the overall idea is, Krishna is not our devotee, and actually I never even had any idea of that before you came along with it. The overall message is what I get, and is what everyone else gets. But a lot of this was all "the Gita is a rascal book" made emphasis by Purujit, who made his own Gita over three years editing his own. And he was booted out of Spain -- supposedly -- at least as was reported to me -- because his host caught him pleasuring himself.

And in any case he spent three years making his own version, which has its own mistakes. So, yeah, there are some mistakes in the 1972, and we cannot correct them, but it is the best thing we have to make new devotees. And if you have a better plan, you keep failing to provide it.

So basically, you are not going to give people this book, and then they will stay here rotting in the material world. I am in favor of trying to save them. And this book has been doing that, and we have a number of 1972 Gita distributors all over the world, and some who are making them into different languages, and none of them think Krishna is going to be their servant.

It is not the common understanding people get from that book, in fact no one else has ever told me that Krishna is going to be our servant is the message of that Gita. It is not the idea that I, or thousands of others, get from that book. I keep asking you what your plan is to fix any of this, and what book you are going to give people -- and you have evidently -- none.

"None" is not fixing anything. We just had a Bhagavad Gita class online today, none of the participants think Krishna is going to be their devotee, none, as in zero. How many sincere people who read the Gita think Krishna is going to be their servant? I think if you did a survey, the answer would zero, or close to it. Srila Prabhupada said give this book out, and it will make devotees, and it is, and we are. If you have no better plan, then what? ys pd
