Cyril Wohrer (Chandrashekara acharya dasa) Writes

Cyril Wohrer (Chandrashekara acharya dasa)

I wrote this email to Anuttama prabhu (GBC, USA), about Badrinarayana Swami, who can have whatever position he wants to have. But I dislike hypocrisy when and if it is present.

"Dear Anuttama prabhu (and other respected GBC members),

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I have a question, and I have cc’ed Badrinarayana Swami herewith.

In the ISKCON North American leadership letter from late May, it was written, as a “note” at the bottom of the letter, that -- "Badrinayana Swami was not on the calls to discuss the Lokanath Swami case and did not sign the letter. He chose to personally write to Lokanath Swami and urge him to resign."

In the video below, however, we hear the opposite, namely that Badrinarayana Swami fully supports Lokanatha Swami. Indeed, Pancaratna prabhu, who is speaking here, says, “Even Badrinarayana Maharaja is very clear; he is supporting Lokanatha Maharaja.”

The link is here:

When and if you have time, could you, or Badrinarayana Swami, clarify this conflicting information please?

Thank you.

Your servant,
Chandrashekhara acharya dasa"

[PADA: Yes, this type thing evidently happens all the time. We are concerned about the child molesting issue -- and we are going to fix the issue. Then, the leaders -- often as not -- end up  not fixing -- and worse -- defending the molester regime.  Let us see how Badri narayan responds.  But good luck with that!

Of course when we have a guru parampara allegedly from Vaikunatha that contains illicit sex with men, women, children, and cats, it might be hard to get a cohesive reply from the participants in that parampara.  Hee hee!

Chandrashekhara wrote me a nasty note saying that he does not know me and does not want to know me.  Yep, he writes to the founder fathers of the molester messiah's project -- but not us?

Prayer Request for Rajendrananda Prabhu

(Rajendrananda on left)

URGENT REQUEST FOR PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS! AND PLEASE SHARE THIS POST.

Our dear friend, and disciple of Srila Prabhupada, His Grace Rajendranandana Prabhu has stage 4 cancer.

Rajendranandana prabhu requested that I convey his offering of prostrate humble obeisances at the feet of his friends, well-wishers, and all the Vaisnavas. He also asks to not pray for his health, but for his ability to embrace the will of Srila Prabhupada and Krishna's plan, and to blissfully remember Srila Prabhupada and Krishna while facing whatever circumstances that unfold.

Please send prayers, love, well-wishes and blessings to this determined, wonderful servant of Srila Prabhupada and his devotees. And the same for his dear wife, Catura Mata and loving son, Aja.

ALSO, KINDLY SHARE THIS POST SO RAJENDRANANDA RECEIVES THE OPTIMUM BENEFIT OF POWERFUL VAISNAVA LOVE, PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS!

[PADA: Srila Prabhupada says -- devotees will specifically NOT get cancer since they are living a pure existence. Yet, every month, week, or even every few days, we have yet another "devotee's cancer episode" to report. My (karmi?) nurse friend -- who is a vegetarian Christian -- says something is very wrong to have so many "Krishna devotees" getting terminal illness -- such as cancer -- sometimes when they are in the 30s, and more often in their 50s, 60s, and many are not even reaching their 70s, never mind many so-called "karmis" live to be in their 80s, or beyond. Devotees of God should be faring way better, not way worse.

That means Srila Prabhupada's declaration is not happening, evidently because people are not following Prabhupada correctly. Something is wrong with this picture pilgrims!

Rajendrananda was always friendly with me -- and I consider him a friend. At the same time, he was a little disappointed by PADA's approach -- not unlike many other brothers and sisters. OK fine, but what approach is better? Going to Mayapur to hang out with the molester messiah's project's leaders -- is not what I would consider as a solution. OK it is not a solution.

A devotee in another land just chatted and told me -- Bhakti Vikas swami's saying that surrendering to Krishna's guru parampara is many times like entering a dangerous death trap jumbo jet that crashes with all the passengers, and kills all on board, is what is really wrong with ISKCON.

The parampara from God, is more often than not -- like a death trap jumbo jet that crashes and kills everyone. Why is this preaching even allowed? Surrender to Krishna, and die in a fireball jumbo jet crash. It is a bad advert, turning away the mass of people, actually millions and billions of people.

The "pure as Krishna" guru parampara has been converted from its former "perfect chain of gurus going back to Krishna" into "a death trap of many doomed jumbo jets -- that often crash and burn at any second, and kills all on board." Thus, as long as we promote the idea that surrendering to Krishna's guru parampara is often just like a death trap of crashing and burning jumbo jets, burning people alive, and basically killing everyone on board -- including the bogus guru pilot, nothing else can be fixed.

And this devotee said, it is therefore no surprise that anyone who is "going along with the crash and burn jumbo jet guru death camp," or is allowing, or is acquiesced with this process will tend to -- become sick, and maybe die, since they are now linked to the jumbo jet death trap guru system, which is a severe offense to Krishna and His guru parampara, and is harming thousands or even millions of people by giving Krishna's guru parampara a rotten reputation.

What kind of religion preaches that surrendering to God and His guru is just like -- being involved in one bogus guru jumbo jet crash after another -- of repeated jumbo jet's fiery crashing and burning programs -- that kills the people who boarded and participated? Surrendering to Krishna is -- a death camp of doom and gloom, crashing and killing the passengers -- over and over and over. OK the parampara from Krishna is one huge pile of crashed jumbo jets, with thousands and thousands of dead or mortally wounded. And that is the path to God?

And he said -- Lokanath is just another jumbo jet that crashed 30 years ago, that they quickly and sloppily patched up -- artificially -- and put back into the air, knowing he was 100% not air-worthy. And now his crash and burn process will be -- simply another jumbo jet crashing and burning -- and killing more and more and more of the passengers.

So, the people who sit back and watch all this death and destruction without really helping the burning up crash victims, or worse they are enabling this process, they are co-mingling themselves -- and their spiritual essence -- with the guru death camp's karma, and are thus implicated in the overall guru death camp's karma. The planes are crashing, you are sitting like the Kauravas and not protesting, then you have to suffer the result. And the results of allowing other's deaths, is perhaps your own death.

And thus he said, allowing thousands and thousands and thousand of people to crash, burn in hell fire jumbo jet fuel -- and die, including most of the children, will cause those who acquiesced or enabled that process to -- also crash and die. It is called collective karma. I agreed with his assessment.

Anyway Rajendrananda, good luck and God speed. I wish you well ys pd]

Bhakti Vikas Swami: Crashing ISKCON's Jumbo Jets (VIDEO)

[PADA: Really true. Bhakti Vikas Swami loads up hundred and hundreds of Krishna's devotees into his bogus jumbo jets, knowing in advance the engines are making horrible clunking noises -- the wings are stuck on with duct tape -- and many of the BVKS "pilots" are not qualified -- if not: engaged in illicit sex; drinking Vodka; dating a young female student at the karmi cinema movies; gambling in Reno; watching porno; and so on and so forth.

And then he sends us all flying off into the air, knowing in advance his ISKCON jumbo jets are crashing left, right and center. Once again, he starts off saying that the victims are guilty because -- they made the wrong choice of guru -- forgetting that his program crams these gurus into people's faces and coerces them into taking these gurus. Moreover, those of us who reject these gurus are often banned, beaten, sued, removed -- if not killed. Basically we have to accept or promote one of their gurus or we cannot participate in ISKCON. And he fails to explain how three years old children being initiated, is their wrong choice?

Then he tries to establish all these "crashing guru" problems are going on all the time "in the past" in our parampara on a regular basis. The parampara is full of fallen people -- in the past? No, this is an insult to the parampara, it is not full of people falling down, left, right and center. It is eternal and pure.

And! Gurus are often engaged in illicit sex in the parampara, and those falling people -- voted in more gurus -- like BVKS? And he thinks the Lokanath issue is also in the past, when it is front and center an issue now.

Oddly Bhakti Vikas swami now goes to Bangalore GBC's ISKCON, whose followers wrote to complain to me that I (PADA's editor) cost ISKCON $100,000,000 by supporting various lawsuits. So he goes to a place that wants lawyers to have nice Mercedes so they can go out and buy chicken tikkas, while many among the mass of ISKCON senior devotees are struggling to get basic housing and health care. He has a nice lawyer care program, not so much for the devotees.

Never mind many of the ex-kuli children are struggling too, with no support. Then it turns out Bangladesh devotees have no security forces, when $100,000,000 would have hired an army over there. But nope, BVKS wants to make sure his lawyer has a Mercedes for going to the chicken tikka store.

BVKS really does not explain why he keeps loading thousands and thousands and  thousands of people into these dubious airplanes, knowing in advance these airplanes are generally not flyable -- because for starters  -- the "ISKCON spiritual pilots" are not pure devotees, and he surely knows that in advance. They are not qualified to fly a plane, or be gurus.

-- "Gurus crashing like Jumbo Jets"?

-- Loading thousands and thousands of little children into ISKCON's bogus guru's "Crashing Jumbo Jets";

-- Engines clattering and clunking -- duct taped wings;

-- BVKS's jumbo planes crashing left, right, center;

-- Thousands and thousands of people dying and being severely wounded;

-- Thousands of children being molested, some commit suicide;

-- Entire ISKCON is officially bankrupted;

-- Dissenters sued, beaten, murdered;

-- Tons of bad media;

-- And that is expected and fine!

Happens all the time in Krishna's guru parampara! It's Krishna's eternal parampara leela! Who knew! And BVKS is working behind the scenes with Basu Ghosh to keep a pedophile in the post of acharya. Sorry, none of this ever happens in Krishna's guru parampara. There are no illicit sex with men, women and children acharyas, ever, eternally. The ISKCON parents trusted the BVKS airline -- and put their children on the plane with his assurances of safety, not knowing that BVKS airline is flying deadly Jumbo Jets that could crash and burn.

BVKS is now trying to normalize the ruination of the lives of thousands and thousands of devotees, and the children of those devotees, and the mass molesting of many of these children ... as "business as usual" in the Krishna religion. "It is just crashing giant Jumbo Jets that kills a lot of people every once in awhile, what is the problem, it is normal."

Ummm nope, false gurus are not normal, rather they are destined to go to the most obnoxious regions -- because they are NOT only NOT normal, they are from hell -- and thus they go back to where they come from. BVKS cites Kripamoya saying that people fall down all the time in other religions, and that is the same thing as ISKCON.

Ummm nope, ISKCON says these fallen people are Krishna's successors and gurus in Krishna's parampara. BVKS is saying Krishna is a debauchee because His successors are debauchees. That is what the demons say all the time?

Why is BVKS placing thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of people into -- his crashing Jumbo Jets? And now he says, crashing and killing and injuring tens of thousands of people is -- a normal event in Krishna's guru parampara. Happens all the time, because Krishna's gurus are -- drunk pilots flying unsafe planes? Krishna is a drunk who flies unsafe and crashing planes all the time and therefore, His successors will be the same way.

What! It seems like now, BVKS is starting to recognize that he is responsible for placing thousands and thousands of people into his death trap planes, so he is trying to say these Jumbo Jet crashes "acharyas" and subsequent thousands and thousands dead -- are normal in Krishna's religion.

No, BVKS made the bogus Jumbo Jet's airline corporation, and he invited (coerced) people onto his dangerous planes. He is co-responsible for all these deaths. There is no such thing as a crashing Jumbo Jet acharyas, this is another crude attempt to explain away their criminal airline -- that killed tens of thousands of passengers. Nope! This bogus and dangerous airline was made by you, and you are responsible for the result. ys pd

BVKS: Which is why the acharyas are just like:
Death trap Jumbo Jets that crash, burn --
and kill everyone on board!

Rukmini Writes RE: ISKCON's Horrid History (Lokanath case)

Rukmini Dasi: I write in despair regarding the recent resurgence of extremely serious allegations on a leader within the movement. While my intention is not to publicly shame anyone and I will not be using any names here; I also don’t want my silence to be understood as condoning the incident.

I humbly agree that I am a nobody and some problems need to be dealt with at a managerial level. Some members of the community have chosen to remain indifferent and for them this is the peril of an institution.

However, for me ISKCON has not just been an institution. It is a community in which my parents were wedded, my siblings and I were born and raised. I pray to Srila Prabhupada to have the good fortune and spiritual intelligence to raise my children under HDG’s guidance in Srila Prabhupada's movement.

I don’t want to hold my silence because of the fear of upsetting the sentiments of my elders, friends and the devotee community (The threats and condescending comments that I have received and am expecting after writing this will not deter me).

[PADA: Right, it is common in pedophile cults to insult, attack and threaten the people who expose the problem. We should expect that in -- pedophile cults -- and not in bona fide religions.]

I am speaking up today because I don’t want to pass on the battle of zero tolerance for child-abuse to the next generation. In 55 years, and with our horrid history, we should have resolved and implemented this.

[PADA: Years and years of "horrid history" should be enough to wake people up, unless they are participating in -- or acquiescing with -- the horrid-ness and are part of the horrid agenda. Clearly, most devotees have created this horrid history by omission or commission, it did not happen in a vacuum.]

In the light of the recent (refutable) statement given by the accused's team, it has become even more clear that this needs to be further investigated. In the case of (probable or possible) child sexual assault, as a community it is better for us to err by being too cautious than by choosing to be too negligent. And burying the case is not a solution.

After the release of the recent statement, the situation now has clearly become: Her word against his word. But there is the third angle to it which is the truth. Paramatma sitting in both their hearts know what had happened and I pray that the investigation churns out the truth.

We have all made mistakes, whether with intent or accidentally. However, if what happened according to the testimony is true, then it was not a mistake. It was a crime. Within a spiritual community, I would think that one’s conscience would have more weight than what the law states.

Yet, our leaders seem to be erroneous by taking it so lightly and by appealing for the case to be dropped without further investigation. Since we are past the stage where I can appeal to the conscience of people, I am quoting the Indian Penal Code (verbatim):

"C- SEXUAL ASSAULT AND PUNISHMENT THEREFORE

Sexual assault:

7. Whoever, with sexual intent touches the v****a, p***s, a**s or b****t of a child, or makes the child touch the v****a, p***s, a**s or b****t of such a person or any other person, or does any other act with sexual intent which involves physical contact without penetration is said to commit sexual assault.

8. Whoever commits sexual assault shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which shall not be less than three years, but which may extend to five years, and shall also be liable to a fine."

In his defense, please do not state the good he has done as it cannot undo, nor can it negate -- the charges against him. And please don’t use verses from the Bhagavad Gita as a plea for forgiveness. Let us not cherry pick the philosophy and use it in such a distorted manner to defend the accused.

The community deserves an answer. The incident needs to be objectively re-examined by qualified professionals. The only right decision would be to hand over the case to the CPO. First and foremost, the truth of what happened needs to be established and meanwhile, it is only right that the accused is suspended from all leadership roles within the movement.

It is not right for the leadership to suggest that public discussion of this issue is not the right thing to do, when meanwhile you have taken decisions and have unsuspended the suspension of the accused.

I leave you with a question: If your child came to you with this very testimony regarding being sexually assaulted, what stand would you take?

In the mood of defending the truth, and serving the community and Srila Prabhupad,

- Das-anu-das-anu-dasi

[PADA: Yep, more and more people are saying -- enough horrid history is enough, it is time to change. Lokanath has been a lead army general in his horrid Vaishnava's assaulting and killing program -- that bans, beats, molests, sues and kills Vaishnavas. He is going to be crushed in Yamaraja's stone rollers department for his orchestrating devotees of God being violently banned, beaten, molested, sued and killed, if shastra is correct.

And guess what?

Shatra is correct. No one is allowed to treat the Lord's Vaishnavas worse than people treat their dogs, there are severe consequences. And unless we start to defend devotees now, the horrid history and legacy of continued Vaishnava abuse will -- continue. We need to break the cycle, and we need to start somewhere, and the Lokanath case is a good cause celebre start.

We have friends born from India and living in India who are mortified by all this, and they are afraid to speak up, because Lokanath's horrid pedophile guru cult is -- known to be violent -- if not murderous. In sum, Lokanath is the horrid leader of a horrid pedophile cult. He needs to be removed from a position of power.

And all the people who said "PADA is a crazy man" seem to be falling by the wayside as we are getting more and more intelligent and courageous people on our team every day. ys pd]

Ghosts and Spirits Are Real! (SP Quotes)

Ghosts and Spirits Are Real!

When a man dies, he is called dead, but when he again appears in a subtle form not visible to our present vision and yet acts, such a dead body is called a ghost. Ghosts are always very bad elements, always creating a fearful situation for others.

It is practically experienced. I know that the ghost, if you go in a house ghostly haunted, if you chant Hare Krsna mantra, they’ll go away. They cannot tolerate. In my life there was several incidences like that. In my household life, I was doing business in Lucknow. So there was one house, very big house, worth thousands of rupees’ rent, but it was ghostly haunted. So nobody would take that house. I took it at two hundred rupees, (laughter) and very big house. And I was… All the servants, they complained, “Sir, there is ghost.” So I was chanting. He was living in several spots, especially on the gate side. So I could understand, but I would chant Hare Krsna, and I was saved. Everyone was saved. There was… And, say, in 1969 I was guest in the house of John Lennon in London. So there was a ghost in… It was a big plot. There was a guest house. So they complained, “Sir, here is ghost.” So I advised them to chant Hare Krsna, and the ghost went away. Yes. This is fact. When there is Hare Krsna chanting, these ghostly, demonic living entities, they’ll not be able to stay there. They’ll go away. [750203BG.HAW]

Those who are very sinful and attached to their family, house, village or country do not receive a gross body made of material elements but remain in a subtle body, composed of mind, ego and intelligence. Those who live in such subtle bodies are called ghosts. This ghostly position is very painful because a ghost has intelligence, mind and ego and wants to enjoy material life, but because he doesn’t have a gross material body, he can only create disturbances for want of material satisfaction. It is the duty of family members, especially the son, to offer oblations to the demigod Aryama or to Lord Visnu.

From time immemorial in India the son of a dead man goes to Gaya and, at a Visnu temple there, offers oblations for the benefit of his ghostly father. It is not that everyone’s father becomes a ghost, but the oblations of pinda are offered to the lotus feet of Lord Visnu so that if a family member happens to become a ghost, he will be favored with a gross body. However, if one is habituated to taking the prasada of Lord Visnu, there is no chance of his becoming a ghost or anything lower than a human being. In Vedic civilization there is a performance called sraddha by which food is offered with faith and devotion. If one offers oblations with faith and devotion–either to the lotus feet of Lord Visnu or to His representative in Pitrloka, Aryama–one’s forefathers will attain material bodies to enjoy whatever material enjoyment is due them. In other words, they do not have to become ghosts. [SB 4.18.18]

The word eka-pada, “one-legged,” refers to ghosts, for it is said that ghosts walk on one leg. [SB 4.29.2]

Because of his desire to enjoy the material world, the living entity is dressed with the material gross and subtle bodies. Thus he is given a chance to enjoy the senses. The senses are therefore the instruments for enjoying the material world; consequently the senses have been described as friends. Sometimes, because of too much sinful activity, the living entity does not get a material gross body, but hovers on the subtle platform. This is called ghostly life. Because of his not possessing a gross body, he creates a great deal of trouble in his subtle body. Thus the presence of a ghost is horrible for those who are living in the gross body. [SB 4.29.6]

Sometimes the living entity is forced to give up his body and enter another one according to the judgment of Yamaraja. It is difficult, however, for the conditioned soul to enter another body unless the present dead body is annihilated through cremation or some other means. The living being has attachment for the present body and does not want to enter another, and thus in the interim he remains a ghost.

If a living being who has already left his body has been pious, Yamaraja, just to give him relief, will give him another body. Since the living being in the body of the King had some attachment to his body, he was hovering as a ghost, and therefore Yamaraja, as a special consideration, approached the lamenting relatives to instruct them personally. Yamaraja approached them as a child because a child is not restricted but is granted admittance anywhere, even to the palace of a king. Besides this, the child was speaking philosophy. People are very much interested in hearing philosophy when it is spoken by a child. [SB 7.2.36]

After giving up the body, one is transferred to another body, but sometimes, if one is too sinful, he is checked from transmigrating to another body, and thus he becomes a ghost. To save a diseased person from ghostly life, the funeral ceremony, or sraddha ceremony, as prescribed in authorized sastra, must be performed. Ravana was killed by Lord Ramacandra and was destined for hellish life, but by Lord Ramacandra’s advice, Vibhisana, Ravana’s brother, performed all the duties prescribed in relation to the dead. Thus Lord Ramacandra was kind to Ravana even after Ravana’s death. [SB 9.10.29]

We have heard of people’s being haunted by ghosts. Having no gross material body, a ghost seeks shelter of a gross body to stay in and haunt. The Sakatasura was a ghost who had taken shelter of the handcart and was looking for the opportunity to do mischief to Krsna. When Krsna kicked the cart with His small and very delicate legs, the ghost was immediately pushed down to the earth and his shelter dismantled, as already described. This was possible for Krsna because He has full potency. [SB 10.7.9]

If a man becomes disappointed and he cuts his own throat or hangs himself, some way or other, eats some poison, to finish, does it mean that he is finished? Na hanyate hanyamane sarire. He is rascal. He does not know. By finishing this body he is finished–no, that is not possible. The result is, because he violated the rules of nature, he becomes a ghost. That is his life.

One who commits suicide, he becomes a ghost. Ghost means he does not get this material body. He remains in the subtle body, mind, intelligence. Therefore ghost can go because he is in the mind. Mind speed is very strong. If you have got this material body, you cannot go immediately hundred miles off. But if you are in the mental body, you can go immediately, thousand miles immediately, within a second.

So the ghost, they can play something wonderful because… But they are not happy because they have no gross body. They want to enjoy. He’s materialist. He has committed suicide for some material want. So he is want of material…, fulfilling material desire. He could not fulfill in this body; therefore commits suicide, but the desire is there. The desire is there, and he cannot fulfill it. He becomes perplexed. Therefore the ghost create disturbance sometimes.

You mention ghosts. So far I have experience, the best way to remove them is to chant Hare Krishna very loudly and have jubilant kirtana until they leave. In England, on Mr. John Lennon’s house where I was staying in 1969, there was one ghost. But as soon as the devotees began chanting very loudly, he went away immediately. [71-12-03]

ISKCON Needs Pedophile Messiahs "For its Health"? (Govindanandini Dasi)

[PADA: Heh heh! Here we go again! ISKCON leaders after 1978 already added to its "chain of messiahs from heaven": illicit sex with men, women, children, oral sex with taxi drivers in the dham, and maybe sex with cats; and drug addicts, drunks, porno swamis etc. -- all as part of their alleged chain of God's successors and Krishna's guru parampara.

Now we need to add "inappropriate touching of young girls." What else can we add to their "links of gurus in a chain from God"? Hee hee, it never ends.

They keep adding new bogus species of gurus to their guru parampara more each day. More amazing, we need to worship pedophiles as Krishna's guru successors "to contribute to the health of ISKCON." Ummm, nope, that makes ISKCON more diseased than ever. Worship of pedophiles is "good for the health" -- of pedophiles and their enablers, not for the society at large -- or for children.

ys pd]

We need to worship persons who are in the grips of Maya Devi, to free others from the grips of Maya Devi? And we are teaching prisoners to worship an illicit sex with men, women and children, and cats "guru parampara from God" thinking that will save them? Worse, we are telling people worship of Jesus is "the bogus Christian ritviks idea," so worship of pedophiles is superior to worship of Jesus?

[PADA: Same Govindanandini? In any case, another follower of the Dandavats molester's messiah's project.]

=================

Well-written [by Govindanandini] and reasonable, Mataji. This letter is an important contribution to the good health of ISKCON. Thank you. Mahadyuti Swami

On 19. Oct 2021, at 05:20, Govindanandini Dasi (Secretary - NA LNS Support
Team) <govindseva@gmail.com> wrote:

Dear Basu Ghosh Prabhu,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

We, the undersigned, are more than twenty ISKCON leaders serving in North
America (NA). Our group is comprised of: Srila Prabhupada disciples, temple
presidents, leading congregational devotees, preachers etc. Each of our
group’s leaders represents anywhere from dozens to hundreds of devotees in good standing, residing and serving in NA.

All of us (ourselves and our constituencies), have become disturbed at how Lokanath Maharaja is being dealt with by the North American Leadership Council (NALC).

For many years now things have been going along fine between Lokanath
Maharaja and ISKCON NA. Maharaja has been invited by NA leaders to visit, give
classes, lead kirtan, conduct seminars, and give initiations. All of this has been
going on, without any difficulty. Recently though, some devotees complained on
social media about Maharaja’s case; a case which had long since been adjudicated, voted on, and fully closed by the entire GBC Body.

[PADA: But perhaps not closed for the thousands of molesting victims of the Lokanath regime, Satya being one of them.]

Keep in mind that no new evidence or allegations were presented in these online complaints. Nonetheless, within just a few days of some posts appearing on social media, the NALC chose to suspend Lokanath Maharaja from being an initiating-guru in NA. In our humble opinion, this was done quite passionately and hurriedly, without deep thought and consideration.

The NALC did not stop at suspending Maharaja in NA. Although the NALC does
not itself have the authorization to suspend someone globally, it went to the GBC
Executive Committee (EC), and convinced them to initiate an international
investigation knowing that such an investigation would trigger an automatic
global suspension of Maharaja.

[PADA: The investigation never happened in the first place, the CPO was blocked from doing that. Of course gurus do not need to be investigated for wrong doing.]

We think the EC made a serious error by acquiescing to the hurried demands of
the NALC, given that nothing was presented by the NALC that might warrant the
EC re-opening a case that the entire GBC Body had already formally voted to
close years prior.

It is our understanding that the EC’s authority doesn’t permit them to just supersede the decisions taken by the entire GBC body, especially without anything new being presented to them.

ISKCON’s own website and communication system was used to publicize
Maharaja’s suspension. These over-the-top, sudden actions, and the publicizing of them, can most readily be explained as the NALC bowing to the pressure it felt from social media. Again, things had been going along just fine with Maharaja in
NA for years, until some online complaints were made, and then everything
suddenly changed.

We are very concerned that the NALC became so easily influenced by social media. Perhaps the NALC was concerned about bad PR, or perhaps it was concerned about being criticized for how it had originally handled the case.

[PADA: The case was never settled originally. Satya was told Lokanath would not have a post of authority, and that was not done.]

Or maybe some on the the NALC had wanted to ban Maharaja years before (but had been out-voted by the GBC body). Or there might be some other reason that we are not aware of.

Regardless, these rash decisions were eventually challenged by the unanimous
vote of every Indian temple president (over 160 of them), and Maharaja’s
suspension was rescinded to some extent. However, efforts to remove and/or
retry Lokanath Maharaja are still continuing (and this time with international
GBC support).

[PADA: India's leaders bury pedophiles and sex with cats in a samadhi in the dham. Just because 160 people vote to promote a homosexual, pedophile and sex with cats guru parampara does not make it valid.]

It is now going on in the name of a newly - convened review panel, but functionally this amounts to a re-opening of the case. Given that no new evidence or allegations are being presented, this current course of action still seems to be committing the same fundamental mistake of double jeopardy, that the NALC made previously.

[PADA: They promised the victim Lokanath would not hold a post of authority, that was never done, so they case has never been settled.]

All of the above is very disconcerting to our group of NA ISKCON leaders and
our communities. We agree with the well-informed and unanimous decision of
160 + Indian TPs, namely, that the GBC needs to immediately and permanently close Lokanath Maharaja’s case. We are especially disturbed about any attempts
being made by outside forces, to control how ISKCON India chooses to deal with this issue within India.

[PADA: But ISKCON India already has people worshiping their homosexual, pedophile, and sex with cats samadhi. Why should the rest of the world want to agree to their sex with cats pooja idea? Worse, people in India like Bhakti Vikas swami are saying we cannot be like the bogus Christians, because -- they don't worship homosexuals and pedophiles in a samadhi? They worship a pure devotee and we cannot do that!]

Please consider that most of us became devotees because of the preaching of ISKCON India, and we are all still very committed to supporting them, even though we faithfully serve ISKCON in NA.

Just a couple of days ago, some NALC members and others tried to ban Lokanath
Maharaja from attending the TOVP’s Grand Prabhupada Welcome Ceremony. Like
before, this attempted ban was started by someone posting on social media,
with various NA GBCs immediately jumping on board to take up the cause.
Fortunately, the TOVP leaders stood up to these GBCs and publicly chastised them by writing:

“Any threat of a ‘boycott’ of the program by GBCs or anyone else is a grossly
materialistic and political tool not fit for the Krishna Conscious movement,
what to speak of Srila Prabhupada’s 125th Anniversary.”

[PADA: People who do not worship pedophiles are "political"? And why would any people want to see a pedophile being worshiped at the 125th Anniversary?]

The TOVP further stated:

“The TOVP Team has considered and decided that, regardless of any reaction
from anyone we will not permit or take part in any Vaishnava Aparadh to Lokanath Maharaj.”

Like the TOVP, we cannot just stand by quietly any longer, while aparadh is
being made to Maharaja, and so we now appeal to the International GBC and
Indian Bureau to begin working cooperatively with the Indian TPs, to resolve
this situation and permanently close Maharaja’s case without imposing any
further sanctions on him.

We are forced to reach out to all of you directly, because the NALC is not
representing our group and our constituencies on this topic. Instead, at
least some of the NALC members are themselves complicit in the very aparadh we are speaking up against. We have more NA leaders (many more than those signed
below), who agree with what we have written here, but are afraid to take a
more public stance for fear of reprisal by the NALC.

Regardless, we, the undersigned NA leaders, and our constituencies, are increasingly feeling that we may also need to begin taking a more formal
stance about this issue soon, especially if the NALC continues to be so influenced
by whatever is trending on social media, while continuing to ignore our valid
concerns.

Thank you. Hare Krishna

RE: Namarasa and Sanaka Sanatana das Video (S. Dasi)

Jaya Dayini: "[Sanaka Sanatana’s] kids were left unsupervised in the presence of some very dangerous ‘brahmacharis’ when they were all quite small and living in the goshala buildings... I once found his daughter crying on her own, and held and played with her for like three hours during a program when she was less than a year old ... Finally, at the end of the program, the mother walked by, and some mataji told her that her daughter was with me, and she was like, 'oh, really'?”

Surely the fact that he neglected his own three children to the point where they suffered hellish abuse for years is indicative that he should have nothing to do with children… or speaking on the topic of child abuse.

[PADA: The fox should be in charge of counting the hens?

Wow, so when Sanaka Sanatana das says he is personally living in Vrndavana and is overseeing, watching and supervising the situation -- he lied. He has not even been aware of what is going on with his own kids?]

GREAT! The Lokanath kingdom,
the kingdom of:
VERY DANGEROUS BRAHMACHARIS!
What could go wrong pilgrims?

Dear Namarasa,

Please consider my notes on your interview with Sanaka Sanatana:
“Ep. #087 | Lokanath Swami's Representation Speaks Out | feat. Sanaka Sanatana Das.”

In the future, when you do an interview on an active child abuse case, allow someone to speak on behalf of child protection. And if you are not going to include a voice for the victim, please research the topic fully. Educate yourself inside and out, and ask relevant follow-up questions, not allowing blatant lies to go unchecked. And allow commenting so people with evidence to the contrary can share that evidence.

----------

Namarasa said this is the first time Lokanath’s supporters are saying anything publicly. Actually, Basu Ghosh and others have been posting letters, commentary, and even going so far as to make a group dedicated to supporting Lokanath, which spends much of the time calling names to the child protection advocates and threatening them with violence, lawsuits, or death.

[PADA: Yep, even Naranarayan / Sanat / Mukunda / Prahlad / HKC Jaipur / Pancali / Krishna kirtan et al. started a lynch mob to have PADA removed from the internet. They were very angry that the suicides of their child molesting victims was being reduced.

Some members of this group were posting things like "we need to see a blood bath (of ISKCON's children) in Dallas" -- actually hoping their children victims -- will die. Then, they wanted me to advertise Bhakta das, who is has been a cheer leader of "Saint Radhanath." It seems always the same problem, anyone who advocates for children -- gets jack booted in the face -- treated badly, which explains, why children get treated badly ... it is the "enforced cult ritualistic worship of homosexuals and pedophiles as messiahs project," emphasis on "enforced."]

Namarasa has liked comments and / or posts in this group and / or elsewhere glorifying Lokanath, which makes him a biased party.

Regarding the title of this interview, Chaitanya Lila said, "However I find the sensationalization of the issue in the title very disrespectful to the victim, and all other gurukuli victims of abuse. The title is designed to incite sensationalization and controversy. Degrading this serious issue as if it is some TV show. How disgusting. Behind that eye catching title are hundreds of damaged devotees who are living through the impact of great trauma. Where is the sensitivity Namarasa?”

[PADA: Evidently it is more like thousands of victims of the Lokanath molester club, which one victim told me has been "industrial level child abuse."]

Namarasa deleted comments, blocked comments, and refused to let anyone ask questions during the live interview, giving a skewed / biased picture of the Lokanath case. As this is a child abuse, this behavior is highly irresponsible.

[PADA: Some of the victims have been saying this has been "Auschwitz for kids." This is an issue that should not be biased in favor of the head leaders of the Auschwitz process, like Lokanath swami.]

Namarasa referred to self-admitted child molester Lokanath as “His Holiness.” Badrinarayana Swami said in 1999, “I would drop the "H.H." all the way through it. It sets the tone which may not be the one we want.”

https://satyavrata.wixsite.com/.../private-gbc...

Namarasa and Sanaka Sanatana refer to the sexual abuse of a child as a “situation,” an “issue,” an “incident,” and “that situation.” Call it what it is - child sexual abuse or child molestation.

[PADA: Yep, when mass murderers go on trial and are asked to explain themselves, they often say "I will not discuss the incident." Oh for heaven's sake, we cannot upset the molester messiah's regime's advocates by calling a spade a spade.]

Namarasa said Sanaka Sanatana is giving “Maharaja’s perspective on this issue” - why can’t Lokanath give his own perspective? He speaks publicly online almost every day. Anything he says about Lokanath is hearsay or gossip.

Sanaka Sanatana said he got initiated in 1996 after 4 years of Lokanath not initiating. Lokanath’s initiations were delayed for 2.5 years, not 4. This was his “punishment" for sexually abusing a child. He was never once removed from being a guru in ISKCON.

[PADA: Yup, 1996 is the year when we were collating testimony and a list of victims for the Windle Turley lawsuit. Just when we are accelerating an expose of the molesting program, they are still initiating people? And Narayan Maharaja was upset with us for exposing their molesting program at the time as well.]

“Thus for two and a half years he performed no initiations.”

https://satyavrata.wixsite.com/.../gbc-public-account-of...

SS: “I’m working actively with child protection here in Vrindavan. Many times, I help with cases, bring out things. I took the seminar, took the course, read the books. I’m quite acquainted with the whole concept.”

He has never officially worked with the Child Protection Office.

He’s maybe taken the training. That’s it. Jaya Dayini witnessed that Sanaka Sanatana “got angry once in a CP training seminar by Kamlesh Krishna pr when prabhuji explained how children could not be left unsupervised on the temple compound... Ss pr got all antsy, saying, but how can I attend mangala-arati, then, if I have to take care of my kids?”

[PADA: And Sanatan says -- his own kids were molested there. So he was not heeding the advice of the CP? Other big ISKCON leaders also had their own kids molested, while they were kicking us to the curb. Even a number of parents were screaming at me for helping kids, they did not even care that there was a sucide problem evidently?]

In an ICC meeting which Sanaka Sanatana attended, Pancaratna spoke and wrote into their collective request to the GBC: “The ICC does not accept the ICPO.”

(ICPO is International Child Protection Office.) Video cued to that part:
https://youtu.be/iwVFyHMC7Nw?t=10181

[PADA: Well yep, the Basu Ghosh ICC is burying pedophiles in samadhi in the dham. Evidently, pedophiles are in samadhi meditating on the divine leela, of pedophile activity?]

Sanaka Sanatana’s cohort Basu Ghosh said that since the ISKCON Child Protection Office members are not demigods, they have no value and should not be honored. He went further to say, “Anyway, the establishment of the ICPO is to satisfy modern Western morality. Srila Prabhupada did not instruct that we form a ICPO.” (Srila Prabhupada also didn’t instruct us to use email, but we use it anyway in Krishna’s service.)

[PADA: Yep, the fallen Westerners do not worship pedophiles in a samadhi, and they do not think men having oral sex with minor aged boys is some kind of divine samadhi leela, hee hee.]

Maharaja “badly twisted his ankle, was in pain.” Lokanath is not the victim. Spending time talking about how Lokanath was dedicated to his service seems to be justifying his sexually abusing a child. Child protection is not something that can be compromised.

SS: “Robin Jones case” - no it was “Robin George case.” The Robin George case was another child abuse case. The temple management had kidnapped and held a minor, refusing to let her contact her parents.

When the father invited Lokanath to stay at his house, it was because the Philadelphia temple leadership had asked the father. The family had never heard of Lokanath. The mom didn’t even want him to stay there because the dad was working and she didn’t know what Lokanath would be doing during the day.

So the father said “well, my daughter is on break from school this week, perhaps you could share some Indian culture with her.”

Sanaka Sanatana is blaming the father for Lokanath's molesting his daughter, saying because the father asked Lokanath to share Vedic culture with his daughter, that it was essentially an invitation to molest her. Sanaka Sanatana is placing the blame on everyone else except Lokanath: the leg, the pain, doing service, the father, his “active nature.”

No one asked Lokanath to put his hands in between the legs of a girl, using KRSNA book as a ruse to sit close to her. Using harmonium to sit close to her. Chasing her into a closet and smacking her butt.

Sanaka Sanatana claims Lokanath was only “holding the book” and touched “the lower part of the leg.” However, Badrinarayan said in 1999, “His hand was palm down, it was over her private area, he moved it away when the mother or other family member came in the room and then moved it back when they left. The girl moved his hand and he moved it back.”

https://satyavrata.wixsite.com/.../private-gbc...

Yasoda, a social worker who interviewed Satya, said in 1999: “The report is inaccurate in two areas. If I recall it correctly, when she played the harmonium he caressed her thigh. He moved close to her on the couch when no one was there and pulled away when someone entered. His hand did not brush against her thigh while reading Krishna book...it was on top of her genitals and I think he pressed down. The girl felt so violated because it was her vagina and also because he pulled away when someone entered and resumed when they were gone. This made her feel dirtier.”

https://satyavrata.wixsite.com/.../private-gbc...

Sanaka Sanatan is saying that the mother and sister “didn’t think anything of it.”

Sanaka Sanatana should re-read the documents. In the 1993 interview with the mother, she says, “Maharaja, I had the respect for him, and since I heard from her I lose my respect to him.” and “Oh, I asked her several way, and she gave me the same answer. So I had to believe her. I got really mad, Prabhu. I got very mad on Maharaja”

The sister was not interviewed, but she is the one who disclosed the abuse to her new husband when they were living in Delhi.

Sanaka Sanatana said that the abuse was reported by Sunanda and Ram after they had moved to America. Not true.

They reported the abuse to Mukunda Maharaja in 1992 at the Mayapur meetings, while they were still living in India.

Namarasa says “What’s this interview?” This shows his lack of research on the topic. This “interview” was the first-hand testimony of Satya and her mother that much of this case is based on, as well as Satya’s public statements in 2010.
Sanaka Sanatana references CAP Behavior Associates who he says has worked with priests who have abused kids in the church.

Yes, just like you can find a psychologist to defend a serial killer in court, you can find a psychiatrist to defend a child molester. Even so, CAP Behavior Associates, led by Ken Cullen, said: “These findings do not negate the fact that he acted in a clearly inappropriate manner or that the girl who was a recipient of these acts may have experienced many traumatic sequelae common to victims of sexual abuse.”

And, “we strongly suggest that Swami Lokanath not allow himself to be alone with a woman or child.”

https://satyavrata.wixsite.com/.../gbc-public-account-of...

Namarasa: Is [the CAP psychiatric evaluation] documented somewhere?

SS: Yes.

The full report is not publicly available. Only a small portion has been shared publicly. The GBC further twist the report to say that because the 11-year-old was “entering womanhood” that is why Lokanath touched her between the legs. 11 years old is not “entering womanhood” and it is not right to grope a full-grown woman either.

Eight years after examining Lokanath, Ken Cullen, lead mental health professional who evaluated Lokanath and who provided a report to the GBC, was found guilty of fraud by the NY State Attorney and surrendered his license to practice.

https://satyavrata.wixsite.com/.../mental-health...

Sanaka Sanatana said Lokanath apologized to Satya in person. (At this apology, Satya asked him if he would tell his disciples what he did. He refused, saying “The pain I have caused you, I will cause them much more pain. I can not tell them.”)

At this time, Lokanath had approximately 400 disciples. Lokanath went on to initiate another 4,000-5,000 disciples after he sexually abused a child. The promise from leadership that Lokanath would never hold a prominent position was broken - every time Lokanath initiated someone, every time he led a public kirtan, every time he gave a public lecture, every time he was featured in an ISKCON publication, and every time he was appointed a GBC Minister role.

Not only was the victim lied to, but the worldwide ISKCON body was lied to, and thousands of future disciples were lied to when they took shelter of someone they did not know had sexually assaulted a child.

The GBC said in one of their reports, “Lokanath Swami's leading disciples were also informed of the incident, and, in consultation with the GBC, guidelines were established for informing prospective initiates of Lokanath Swami's transgression and its resolution. These guidelines were applied according to time, place, and circumstance.” Let’s look at that phrase again - “according to time, place, and circumstance.”

This means “tell the prospective initiates, don’t tell them, we don’t care.” Many disciples were never told and are now learning, for the first time, that their guru, their spiritual master of whom they have entrusted their faith, is guilty of sexually assaulting a child many years prior, and that this information was actively concealed from the greater ISKCON body of devotees. Many of Lokanath’s disciples still don’t know what he did.

SS: Sridara Maharaja from Mumbai, Yasomatinandana, and Narayan from Delhi brought up the Lokanath case in 1998.

[PADA: Yup. Our good friend Hanuman Croatia still advertises Sridhara swami as a guru, but he was up to his neck in supporting all sorts of deviations.]

Sanaka Sanatana said Lokanath had a lot of disciples in Delhi so he “suffered a lot from that time.” LOKANATH IS NOT THE VICTIM. He acted on his thoughts to molest a child. His case was never properly dealt with and that’s why it keeps coming up again.

ISKCON GBC can remove Lokanath, or Lokanath can resign and that will solve all the problems. Many devotees find it difficult to take inspiration from a leader who has molested a child. Rightfully so. This is a major transgression, a violation of a child, harming a child’s innocence.

Sanaka Sanatana says that in 2017 Lokanath was “cleared” to go to North America and initiate. He skipped over the GBC’s secret 2012 resolution placing restrictions on Lokanath, banning him from initiating anywhere in the world
except India.

Namarasa: Every few years [this case] seems to be coming back.

SS: It is double jeopardy.

It is not "double jeopardy" because that is a legal concept used by court systems, capable of issuing guilty verdicts and enforcing jail time, and other punishments. ISKCON is a religious institution that has the right and ability to make ecclesiastic decisions about who it does and doesn't allow to hold institutional leadership roles and lead public worship.

SS: He got punished by the publicity in India.

Yes, people are going to wonder why ISKCON is endorsing a leader who has committed sexual abuse against a child. Lokanath is not the victim. He caused this. He can step down and live a humble life of service any time he wants. Being worshipped as a guru is not a necessity for doing service. If any of his disciples want to seek guidance from him, they can do it outside of the ISKCON institution.

SS: It was out in the open. It wasn’t hidden anymore.

No, it absolutely was not “out in the open.” If it was so widely known, why are people finding out about it now, including his own disciples? The case has been actively hidden for 30 years. There are still many people that don’t know what Lokanath has done, including his own disciples.

SS: In 2011, the GBC punished Maharaja. And basically that is the Supreme Court right?

If you say it’s the Supreme Court, then why aren’t you letting them give the Lokanath case to the Child Protection Office. You are not honoring their “ruling.” Also, the GBC is an ecclesiastic body. It is not a federal court, capable of adjudicating and hearing appeals for civil criminal cases.

SS: Lokanath held the book. It was the “downside” of the hand.
SS: It was an accidental touch.

Not the way Satya describes it. She has no reason to lie. She has stood by her statements for 30 years. Yasoda who interviewed her and the GBC members who read more of the case file than any of us have, have also confirmed that Lokanath molested her. If the GBC thought it was an accidental touch, why would this be such a contentious issue? No, it was sexual abuse of a child.

SS: “Satya is a victim and she obviously got violated. That is not the point here.”

Um, yes it is actually. That is the whole point. A child was sexually violated by an spiritual authority figure in her life and there were no consequences. Delaying initiations is not consequences. Prison is consequences. Being removed from leadership is consequences (and ISKCON law agrees).

If Lokanath is saying he did not intentionally touch her, why is he only saying this now? Let him give a public comment. One sentence. He speaks publicly every day. He can give one sentence on this. It appears that Lokanath is telling the GBC members what actually happened, and telling his disciples something totally different. This is the problem. There is misinformation being spread and the lies are creating an atmosphere of confusion, betrayal, and resentfulness.

SS: [Lokanath] is not a child abuser.

Lokanath: “I sexually abused her.” https://satyavrata.wixsite.com/.../letter-of-admission-by...

SS: There are many changes between Satya’s interview from 1993 and her statements from 2010.

Our human memory is not perfect. Some victims recall details over periods of time. Satya’s stories are for the most part compellingly similar. Her memory of how she felt is real and honest. We must believe the victim. Anyway, if you are concerned there may have been child abuse, give this case to the Child Protection Office.

SS: “Who is more qualified than CAP and Associates? Is any CPO has that much training that they are professors in child psychology and have dealt with that much abuse cases in the Christian Church? Who is that much qualified? These people are the most qualified.”

Who is more qualified than CAP Behavior Associates to handle child abuse? Well, since CAP Behavior Associates specializes in working with only child abusers, and not victims - not them. The victim is the most important person to consider in abuse and CAP Behavior Associates “specializes in evaluating and treating clergy (from a variety of religious traditions) implicated in child molestation” (GBC Account of Incident, 1999). CAP did not deal with victims.

However, the ISKCON Child Protection Office has two directors who both have Master’s Degrees in Advanced Child Protection. They look at a child abuse case as a complete whole, perpator AND victim - not just the perpetrator. The ISKCON Child Protection Office has been handling child abuse cases since it’s inception in 1998, 24 years ago.

[PADA: Right, as soon as the Turley lawsuit started, all sorts of interest in child protection magically emerged from nowhere.]

SS: “Maharaja was punished.”

Delaying initiations for a few years is not punishment. Prison is punishment. Removal from leadership is punishment.

SS: “A vaishnava is judged by how many people he can turn into devotees.”

That’s a strange statement. So basically one’s sexual abuse on a child can be overlooked if they “make a lot of devotees.” Gotcha Sanaka Sanatana.

[PADA: Well yup, the are making devotees -- i.e. people who will ban, beat, molest, sue, and kill us. They are on a jihad against Vaishnavas, and they are recruiting more jihadis.]

ISKCON Desire Tree has a different view of who is a Vaishnava:

“In the Vishnu Purana: "He who does not abandon his specific varna-dharma, who is equiposed, who is a well-wisher to his enemies, who does not steal, who does not injure anyone, and who is steady in his mind, he is understood as a Vishnu-bhakta." Thus a simple definition of being a Vaishnava is presented.”

DOES NOT INJURE ANYONE - that includes not sexually abusing a child
SS: Yes, Satya and her mother suffered…. There are 5,000 disciples of Lokanath Maharaja.

How many disciples does one need to have to make it okay to molest a child? Is 5,000 the magic number?

SS: So the very GBC should have in 1993 decided that this person is not fit to be a guru, and said that’s it. Again they could have decided in 1996, and again in 2011.

Yes, that is absolutely correct. ISKCON should have stopped endorsing Lokanath as a guru in 1993, when he only had 400 disciples. That would have saved the society and the disciples a lot of grief. However, ISKCON can still do the right thing. As Deva Madhava said in his interview with Namarasa, “It’s always the right time to do the right thing.”

SS: 50% of the disciples are probably mothers and have children. So how much distress are we in now?

Earlier in the interview Sanaka Sanatana said “Who is more qualified than CAP and Associates?” CAP Behavior Associates said “we strongly suggest that Swami Lokanath not allow himself to be alone with a woman or child.” So if Sanaka Santana thinks CAP is so qualified, as he says, then he should tell these 50% disciples who are mothers with children what CAP said: Lokanath should not be allowed to be alone with a woman or child.

Namarasa: No one is thinking about the disciples that you are talking about who are under so much distress regarding what the situation that’s continually happening now where he’s being put under trial again and again and again.
When a Catholic priest is punished for sexually abusing a child, the judge doesn’t say “Well, how many parishioners does he have? Maybe we should just let him stay in the church and keep advising people.” NO. They say, “What harm has he done?” Period.

SS: The devotees in India have a different culture. We have a culture of Vedic thinking. We are more old-fashioned. Conservative. I’m part of the IIAC body.
Does old-fashioned conservative Indian Vedic culture say it’s okay to molest children? No.

[PADA: Right, Krishna's successors are illicit sex with men, women, children, taxi drivers in the dham, and cats. And that is the INDIA ICC's conservative view? Let us hope we never have to see their radical view!]

Namarasa: What is Maharaja’s attitude during these times? (When does he ask about the victim or her family? Never. Not once in the 1 hour plus interview.)
Maharaja is totally undisturbed. In 1998 Maharaja was very disturbed, then when the issue came in 2010/2011 he couldn’t sleep, he was suffering very great.

LOKANATH IS NOT THE VICTIM.

SS: Maharaja did not have anything bad in his mind.

"When questioned, Lokanath Swami could recognize the various individual episodes that had caused her disturbance, and he confessed to the emergence
in himself, during the incident of reading together, of shameful feelings."

https://satyavrata.wixsite.com/.../gbc-public-account-of...

SS: I have always felt something bad had happened. After studying the whole thing, I got my conscience cleared. It was inappropriate, accidental touch. There wasn’t any bad intent in Maharaja’s mind.

If Sanaka Sanatana had always felt something bad had happened up to this point, why didn’t he ask Maharaja before? By his account, he blindly followed his spiritual master, while thinking he had something bad.

SS: Why is a sannyasi interacting with a girl? He felt as a repayment as hospitality for the family that that is what he had to do. That was his service for when he was staying there.

Hold up. A family graciously invites Lokanath - at the behest of the Philadelphia temple - to stay with them. Lokanath grooms and molests their daughter over the week, and now his disciple is publicly saying that Lokanath interacted with the daughter as “repayment.” This is outrageous.

(50:10)

NR: Now what would you say to those devotees who are continually now bringing this up and pushing very hard that Maharaja do this, Maharaja must do that, Maharaja step down, etc.?

SS: Everyone has a right to think whatever he likes and in the West everyone has a right to express that.

Only in the West can someone express themselves?

SS: Why are you going for someone who has done a wrong 31 years back?

Ultimately Krsna takes care. Nobody escapes.

Justice never happened in this case. If we as an ISKCON society claims to be spiritually elevated, we must act like it. That means following our own rules and following our child protection mandates, and letting the CPO handled child abuse, without interference from the GBC!

NR: Their point of view is there needs to be more checks and balances, things were covered up by the GBC because Lokanath was their friend.

SS: No, Maharaja is not a GBC member. He is definitely not part of the club.
“He is not from a particular religious community which is prominent among the American GBCs. He is definitely not part of the club and he is definitely not their friend.”

Namarasa has a guest who’s initials are SS, speaking with a German accent, pointing out how many Jews there are in ISKCON, heading a team who is claiming one race is superior to others. One can’t help but think of a certain political party that took a certain symbol from India.

SS: If he was their friend, they wouldn’t be treating him now as they are treating him. He is not part of the club, at all.

NR: Are there any other details you’d like to talk about that I didn’t ask about?

SS: Saraswati can say whatever she wants.

Thank you. I will.

SS: I don’t think child abuse is neglected in ISKCON. I can only tell you about two places, Vrindavan and Mayapur. I am here in Vrindavan. I won’t go too deep. My own kids have suffered abuse. My daughter was abused, more than once, and one was kind of severe and that fellow has been thrown out and he has not been seen again, the second fellow has been thrown out and he has not been seen. One of my sons got somewhat abused and he was thrown out and he was never seen again in ISKCON. I am in Vrindavan and there is no question of anyone getting away with anything here.

NR: It shouldn’t happen in the first place though right?

SS: You can’t fully avoid that. If you have a big society with thousands of people. We are trying our level best but it is difficult you know. Your kids are roaming around in the temple. How can you stop that? They are interacting with other members of the temple. You want that. Isn’t it? You don’t want to keep your kids at home. And once they are interacting with so many people. If you have a small temple with only 5 people that maybe won’t happen. (No, actually anyone can abuse children, whether the community is 5 or 500. It just takes one person to abuse a child.)

SS: But here in ISKCON Vrindavan we have at least 300 full-time devotees and 5 or 600 workers. You can’t 100% control everyone. (No, but you can watch your children. That is the first step to protecting your children. Watching them. In child protection trainings they say neglect is the worst abuse because it can lead to other people preying upon and abusing your children.)

Jaya Dayini: "[Sanaka Sanatana’s] kids were left unsupervised in the presence of some very dangerous ‘brahmacaris’ when they were all quite small and living in the goshala buildings... I once found his daughter crying on her own, and held and played with her for like three hours during a program when she was less than a year old... Finally, at the end of the program, the mother walked by, and some mataji told her that her daughter was with me, and she was like, oh, really?”

Surely the fact that he neglected his own three children to the point where they suffered hellish abuse for years is indicative that he should have nothing to do with children… or speaking on the topic of child abuse.

NR: I also want to ask, what do you want to say to your godfamily in these troubling times, your perspective as being a senior disciple, someone who’s studied this, your conscience has been cleared by it.

SS: I would advise anyone - be careful with any information you take from the internet. Anyone can write anything on the internet. (By Sanaka Sanatana’s logic, we should also not listen to him since he is speaking on the internet.)

SS: There is another important thing, on the internet, there is that letter, Maharaja’s apology letter. (The apology letter was given to Satya’s family in the early 90’s. This has never been made available to the public. What Sanaka Sanatana is referring to is an admission letter that was meant to be distributed to his disciples. It never was.)

NR: What year was that?

SS: That was written in 2011. It was never published because Lokanath Maharaja did not write it. (False. Lokanath’s admission letter was written October/November 2010.)

NR: So you’re saying there is a letter out there that Maharaja did not write?

SS: Yes.

NR: That’s horrible. (Biased response. He says later he is a “neutral party” which he clearly isn’t.)

SS: It was done by the GBC with some legal expert; it was put in front of Maharaja and Maharaja clearly objected and said that is not what happened.
Bhakti Caitanya Swami said in 2011, "The letter Lokanatha Maharaja wrote last year, with input from myself and final editing by Amarendra prabhu, intended to be distributed to his disciples and aspiring disciples, as well as to ISKCON Temple Presidents and other relevant authorities who may deal with initiation recommendations, explaining what he recalls having happened, and apologizing for his transgressions in that regard." https://satyavrata.wixsite.com/.../bhakti-chaitanya-swami...

What motivation would the GBC have to frame Lokanath? None. If they wanted to, they would have done it already. Why would they frame Lokanath for child sexual abuse, then cover up the framing? Repeatedly. Because this case keeps coming up. That doesn’t make any sense. The most logical conclusion is what has been done in ISKCON for decades. When a leader is accused of child abuse, other leaders, friends, allies, rally around the abuser and call the victims liars. This is what Guru Prasad Swami did with his child abuser friend Dhanurdhar.

https://seekingtheessence.wordpress.com/.../guru-prasad.../

SS: The first reference to that letter was in 2017 in a Russian version. Someone in the GBC must have leaked it. Many disciples were reading that letter and losing faith in Maharaja because it looks like Maharaja did serious child sexual abuse. But Maharaja has said that is not what happened.

The GBC and other investigative members have a big, fat, case file on the Lokanath case. They researched the case and realized there was some terrible abuse that happened. The question is not whether abuse happened or not, that has already been established, the question is to what degree was it mishandled.
NR: That’s a large detail that many people probably don’t know.

SS: I know some of my close friends have lost faith in Maharaja because they have seen that letter.

NR: WOW. Hmmm…

SS: You can not fully trust what you see on the internet. (Like this interview?)

NR: Right.

SS: Shastra says don’t gossip and don’t offend vaishnavas.

In 1997 the GBC Resolved that child abuse is Vaishnava Aparadha. Not just Vaishnava Aparadha, but “serious” Vaishnava Aparadha.

SS: We all have done something wrong in our life. But we shouldn’t be flies. We didn’t look for the stool at the side of the road. We are supposed to be bees, find the flower and take the nectar.

If we’d like to hear only good news about ISKCON, we have to address the things that give it a bad name.

SS: You have to have a positive outlook. And always give the person the benefit of the doubt, before you just put him in a bad section and say “he’s like this, he’s like that.”

Again, the GBC and others have researched this case. You are the outlier. Also, you don’t have access to all the evidence Sanaka Sanatana.

NR: Playing devil’s advocate, the same can be said what you’re saying. Sanaka Sanatana is just speaking from his perspective. It could be untrue.

SS: I’m Lokanath Maharaj’s disciple, I have to advocate for him, right? (Not necessarily. Some of Lokanath’s disciples understand that the truth is he sexually abused a child, and have cut off their relationship with him.)

NR: (laughing) Right... right.

SS: What else should I do? Obviously.
----

SS: This is the first time you are actually giving me a chance to speak our side of this thing. And who knows, maybe it will backlash on you also. (Yes, backlash will happen when the interviewee is basing his whole premise on an unfounded speculation, and the interviewer nods in agreement the whole way through, appearing to not understand the details of the case, doing little to no research on the topic.)

NR: I mean, I’m just, I’m just interviewing you as a neutral party. (If Namarasa was neutral he would have opened the interview to someone advocating for the victim as well. He would not have deleted comments. He would not have blocked comments.)

NR: That could happen. I’m ready for that. I’ve already gotten backlash from other different episodes that I’ve done so I’m not new to that. But also, now I’m trying to understand why is your perspective something that is authoritative? You being the representative of Maharaja’s team. Why should they take your perspective into account?

SS: Everyone can make their own opinion. I have read everything that has been written and said over the last 31 years.

Have you? The Lokanath case has a very big file and you do not have access to all the documents. The GBC have and they have based their (mishandled) actions on the founded premise that Lokanath sexually abused a child.

NR: Is there any authoritative documents that people can read to come to their own conclusion? Or is it that we have to kind of figure out what is the authoritative documentation?

SS: We have a lot of research documentation on the issue that would be helpful. This is the first time we have come out on social media. Saraswati can write. Our issue is with the GBC, with the ISKCON society.

SS: I’m worried about the cultural and philosophical break between ISKCON India and ISKCON America. This is one more issue that is putting a straw on the camel’s back, that will eventually lead to a break. There is a big group in India that is hopefully looking forward to that. I hope that ISKCON can come out of this crisis more strongly.

SS: I hope that whatever Maharaja has been done wrong can be forgiven by the family, and by other people. And once they have forgiven, they can again focus on something more positive.

There can be forgiveness for the perpetrator and there can be consequences for the perpetrator. The two do not have to go hand in hand. Forcing forgiveness is tantamount to more abuse. Putting the burden of forced forgiveness on the victim, her family, and her advocates is irresponsibly and compounds the abuse.

Justice and and should be carried out whether forgiveness is there or not. Forgiveness is NOT a factor in whether the GBC should follow their own child protection policies. Giving preferential treatment to one child abuser sets a terrible precedent for other child abuse cases in the future, where the perpetrator may point to the Lokanath case and say “Well what about him? I want to keep being a guru even though I molested a child.”

NR: Yeah.

SS: If you focus on other people’s faults on negativity, I don’t think it is very beneficial for anyone. I hope we can join together and preach without any further disturbance.

It’s disturbing to one’s Krishna Consciousness to see a child molester being worshipped in one’s society. Many of us are disturbed by Lokanath’s presence and would hope that either he steps down, or ISKCON removes him from leadership. His presence is actually the opposite of inspiring. It is painful, hurtful, and begs the question “why is someone who caused so much harm to an innocent Vaishnava child being worshipped with awe and reverence?”

NR: Thank you. Thank you for sticking your neck out and coming on and talking about this. I think this will be helpful to hear other perspective from what’s being said. We’re entitled to someone else’s perspectives. It’s not that we have to demonize someone or villainize someone or a group of people for their different perspective that may be different from someone else in North America, or wherever it is.

Hey Namarasa, the victim is Indian too. By your suggestion, giving a biased interview in defense of the perpetrator, you and Sanaka Sanatana are demonizing and villainizing the victim, whose origin is also from India. For shame. You are compounding the abuse all over again, questioning whether she is telling the truth or not, refusing to allow any evidence to the contrary. Highly disappointing.
Namarasa asks multiple times about the distress of Lokanath, Sanaka Sanatana, Lokanath’s disciples, but never once mentions the victim, or asks about the victim.

“Both sides” are not the same. Only one reality includes a victim of abuse. Any distress on the other side is called consequences.
If you fight to hide the child abuse and the corruption of the legacy if Srila Prabhupada you are the enemy of ISKCON.
