Protest of ISKCON Bologna and Radhanath swami 05 03 25

Vaishnava Theology Rejects Spiritual Monopoly — and Exposes Mafia Puppeteers Disguised as Saints

A Murder That Still Haunts the Movement: The Sulochan Dasa Case.

In 1986, Sulochan Dasa — a devotee known for his rigor and determination in exposing abuse within ISKCON — was coldly assassinated. His writings, compiled into an explosive dossier, denounced serious sexual crimes, manipulation, and abuse of power by ISKCON leadership, naming names, including Radhanath Swami (known as Richard Slavin).

He was shot twice in the head in front of his car while attempting to publish a book containing detailed evidence. Two devotees were convicted for the crime: Tirtha Das (Thomas Drescher), who is serving a life sentence as the gunman, and Tapahpunja Das, who served five years in prison as an accomplice.

Internal testimonies and accounts from former devotees point to a well-organized network built on cover-ups, silence, and mutual protection. In this context, Radhanath Swami was not a passive observer, but a figure who, though never dirtying his hands directly, operated as an invisible director, skillfully manipulating people and situations with cunning and apparent meekness.

Decades later, the carefully crafted image of the “compassionate saint” cannot erase the smell of sulfur and death that surrounds him. The Theological Foundation: God Has No Owners.

This dynamic directly contradicts the foundations of Gaudiya theology. The authentic conception rejects any human centralization of divine grace. As clearly stated in the Chaitanya Charitamrita:

saṅkarṣaṇaḥ kāraṇa-toya-śāyī
garbhoda-śāyī ca payo ’bdhi-śāyī
śeṣaś ca yasyāṁśa-kalāḥ sa nityā-
nandākhya-rāmaḥ śaraṇaṁ mamāstu

(Adi-lila 1.7.5)

"Saṅkarṣaṇa, Kāraṇa-toya-śāyī, Garbhodaśāyī, Kṣīrodakaśāyī, and Śeṣa Nāga are all expansions or portions of the portion of Nityānanda Rāma. I take shelter of His lotus feet."

This verse shows that even the various divine expansions have a common origin and coexist in harmony. There is no exclusivity in the Absolute. If God Himself manifests in multiple forms for different purposes, how can a single path, a single authority, a single “authorized lineage” be legitimate?

The principle of pañca-tattva is a spiritual antidote to any institutional monism. Plurality is not a deviation — it is a manifestation of God’s mercy. Institutionalism as a Cage: The Case of the Vaikuntha Center in Bologna.

When a spiritual center like the Vaikuntha in Bologna demands submission to a single authority — in this case, Radhanath Swami — it betrays the spirit of bhakti, which is spontaneous, personal, and rooted in love, not blind obedience.

In such environments, spirituality is transformed into a mechanism of control: judgments are made about who is "authorized" and who is not, who may speak and who must remain silent, who belongs and who is excluded.

But bhakti is the opposite: it is welcoming, open, and service-based. Who the Accomplices Are: Krishnaloka Devi Dasi, Traidas, and Other Spiritual Enforcers
under the direct direction and intentional influence of Radhanath Swami, Krishnaloka Devi Dasi and Traidas have turned the Vaikuntha Center into a personal fiefdom, where devotion is practiced only if it conforms to the standards set by their inner circle.

Alongside figures like Shyama Govinda Das — still immature and often driven more by ego than spiritual realization — they have constructed a system where the appearance of harmony and service conceals an internal structure based on obedience, control, and submission.

This is no longer about spiritual guidance. This is personality cult. The unspoken question is always the same: “Whose guru do you belong to?” And if the answer is not “Radhanath Swami,” you are ignored, discredited, excluded, and removed using various tricks. Srila Prabhupada’s Teachings Have Been Betrayed.

Srila Prabhupada stated clearly:

“Krishna consciousness is not sectarian. It is a universal spiritual science.”

His vision was broad, inclusive, and accessible to all. When walls are built around the name of Krishna, when a human “permission” is required to approach God, we are no longer in the realm of spirituality — we are in sectarianism disguised as devotion.

Those who impose protocols, invisible rules, and forced loyalty are not serving Krishna. They are serving themselves. Or worse — they are serving a mafia structure dressed up as a spiritual community.

An Appeal to Conscience: Defending Yourself Is Not Hatred.

In light of all this, silence is no longer an option. The Vaikuntha Center in Bologna is no longer a neutral place. It is an active node in the power network constructed by Radhanath Swami and perpetuated by his local representatives. I therefore call on every sincere devotee, every authentic practitioner, every spiritually minded person: do not attend, do not support, and do not promote this center.

This is not hate.
This is not vengeance.
This is protection.
Protection of your spiritual integrity.
Protection of the community.
Protection of the pure message of Srila Prabhupada.
