PLEASE PRAY FOR HH GOPAL KRISHNA GOSWAMI MAHARAJ 

Dear respected Maharajas, Prabhujis, and Matajis,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

On the morning of May 2nd, 2024, HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja slipped in his bathroom and suffered an injury. While there were no external injuries, he has developed a dark red scar on his lower right back.

As a precautionary measure, we took Maharaja to the hospital for an x-ray and comprehensive examination. The doctors' findings revealed that Maharaja has sustained two rib fractures and pneumothorax (air in the lung area).

He was admitted to Synergy Multi Specialist Hospital for a two to three day observation period where he is being closely monitored. We are relieved to report that Guru Maharaja is feeling better now. We kindly request the global community of devotees to offer their prayers for Maharaja's health and well-being. We will continue to provide regular updates on his progress.

PADA's Messiah Complex!

PADA: Thanks G Dasa for telling me that I am another person suffering from "messiah complex" -- because I am not any different than the GBC gurus -- and thus I believe I am -- "God's agent on Earth" -- same as many psychiatric patients. Well ya got me there pardner! 

However, I have also said that the Berkeley police are "agents of Krishna," because they saved my life from the dangerous Hansadutta Harry Critters. In one sense, every living entity everywhere is an "agent of Krishna," because Krishna is dictating to -- and directing -- all the wanderings of all of us. Of course, some of us are acting, or trying to act, in cooperation with Krishna. 

Some others, ok not cooperating so much. I just polished some outside lights here, and the next day they were covered with a swarm of those teeny red clover mites, about the size of a pin head. These living entities were once humans, and they wanted to continue to be forgetful of Krishna. I am pretty much just trying to avoid being back in that situation rather than being the next messiah.   

But I do NOT think that just because a person is making an attempt to fix a corrupt organization, even a mundane organization, or to serve Krishna, that means the "reformer" person thinks they are some sort of ultimate agent of God or a messiah. Any person who tries to serve Krishna is certainly trying to be "an agent of Krishna," or a representative of Krishna. That would include all devotees. A kindergarten child might be trying to become another PHD professor, but he generally realizes he is not yet a professor himself.

To say anyone making an attempt to serve God is thinking they are on the same level as a messiah is simply, incorrect. I think you are telescoping a neophyte -- who is at the beginning stage -- with the completely realized person. The neophyte might be doing the same external activity as a pure devotee, but that does not mean the neophyte has the same internal realization.

Anyway! I had to bring out issues -- like the molesting issue -- and that made me very unpopular with almost all the Harry Critters. And my atheist lady friend thinks pretty much as you do -- she thinks I have a sort of psychotic death wish to become a sort of martyr, thinking I am some sort of agent of divine law, because my opponent people wanted to take me out. But the problem is, she is also going to die, so will you, and so will all of us. Our lives are an ongoing process that goes on forever. 

And where we begin in the next life -- is all according to what credit or discredit we get in this life for either serving or not serving Krishna. I am just trying to get a little credit for doing a little service, and hopefully, I won't end up as a clover mite. 

But many people have said -- I just wanted to be another guru, I wanted to take over ISKCON, I wanted ISKCON's money -- and all that. Honestly, the money ISKCON has -- all of it -- was ultimately stolen or usurped from the pure devotee, the children of ISKCON, the deities, the BBT etc. and therefore I sort of see it as blood money. I am not really that interested in taking the karma of handling that money.  

   

All that being said, look at what happens to actual messiahs. Jesus, Srila Saraswati Thakur, Srila Prabhupada and others -- not treated very nicely. I would not want to be in those shoes --  unless Krishna absolutely insisted I had to. It is no picnic being a messiah, and to think I would want to be in those shoes, is a mistake on your part. Apart from all that, I am not sure how you would have done any better than me, or that you have a better plan to fix things right now. 

To criticize is easy, to do better, not so easy. But yeah, Krishna wanted some folks to bring out some of these issues, and He could not find too many volunteers. I signed up to help, and therefore He used me -- at least for some part of the show -- not because I am a great helper -- it is just that since others were not volunteering, Krishna had to use the -- not so great -- helper volunteers He could find. 

In the end -- I am an agent of Krishna, but so are the Berkeley police, and so are the many other people who helped us. But that does not mean any of us are thinking we are messiahs, it means -- Krishna uses different tools to get the job done. 

And that is also why it is said that the bee can chase the bear. The bee is very teeny, the bear is very huge, but the bee can chase away the bear, and that is how Krishna sometimes gets things done, he uses different methods, and we are all part of His process. And if you want to become free of being in the material world, then me, you, my Atheist lady friend, all of us, will have to become an agent of Krishna ourselves. Or we stay here and become clover mites. There is no other option.

GBC Shastra Advisors 

Lenny Sislac: ISKCON's Sastric Advisory Council (SAC) and Spiritual Advisors Bhagavata Assembly (SABHA) teach that there has to be a living guru to give initiation. The diksa-guru has to be physically present so to speak -- to absorb the karma of the disciple. 

PADA: Oh great, how is that working out?

However, the main guru of the Brahma-sampradaya is Narada Muni. Narada Muni is the guru of almost all important devotees - Valmiki Muni, Prahlada Maharaja, Druva Maharaja, Srila Vyasadeva, etc., etc. But Narada Muni has a spiritual body. He does not appear in a physical body in front of his disciples. 

Narada Muni can travel everywhere even to Vaikuntha. His disciples lived in different yugas like Satya yuga, Treta yuga, Dvapara yuga. But Narada initiated them all without being the current guru in the line of disciplic succession, parampara. So this is wrong that a guru needs to be physically present and when a guru passes away he can no longer initiate new devotees.
