PADA: OK so Jayapataka's acting as the karma vacuum cleaner of ISKCON is "being defended." Why would anyone defend the idea that conditioned souls can take karma, when Srila Prabhupada says only an uttama has the brahmana tejyas to burn off sins? His Holiness Jaya Patākā Svāmī Mahārāja initiated MPD as his disciple certainly not as Śrīla Prabhupāda's disciple, acting as a initiating spiritual master (दीक्षा गुरु) not as ṛtvika. So if he (MPD) thinks that this initiating process was / is unauthorised then why he is still keeping the name given to him during unauthorised process by an unauthorised spiritual master? Why has he not taken the ṛtvika initiation from one of the ṛtvika (any disciple of Śrīla Prabhupāda.)
PADA: The Jayapataka / GBC authorized guru here in Berkeley was Handsadutta, who was having affairs with half dozen ladies and he was drinking Vodka. The GBC held an emergency meeting here, and I burst into the meeting (was not actually invited) and I said -- we need to get rid of this lusty drunken guy posing as an acharya, and the GBC said no -- he has to stay in Vyasa seat.
I am not sure why Jayapataka's GBC promotes intoxicated womanizers as Krishna's successors, but I already knew that such a person is not God's successor when I was ten years old. Why don't Jayapataka's people know that intoxicated womanizers are not Krishna's successors and acharyas?
This sastra caksus fellow is all worried about who is authorized and who is not, and we need to defend Jayapataka, a guy who makes homosexuals, pedophiles, drunken womanizers and who know what else into Krishna's acharyas.
What is interesting is that these folks are citing the paper [written by Gaura Govinda Maharaja?] at least evidently he authored such a paper, "what to do when your guru becomes and asura." This is a full on admission the GBC are making asuras into acharyas. These guys are saying when the guru is an asura you can reject him. OK why did the GBC promote this asura as guru in the first place?
So Hansadutta had 200 followers in 1980, all of them rejected Hansadutta, and the temple has been a ghost town ever since 1988. Everyone rejected Hansadutta and left. How can we manage a society when 99% of the followers are leaving and making the temples empty ghost towns?
And lets not forget that children who were forced to worship illicit sex deviants left ISKCON en masse. That means the GBC did not provide them with a proper guru, or even proper protection from mass molesting. Sorry, it is the job of the GBC to make sure people have a proper guru and it is not the job of the new people or children.

By the mercy of Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava, Śrī Pañca-tattva, Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva, Śrīla Prabhupāda, and the sincere prayers of devotees around the world, Guru Mahārāja remains medically stable in many important areas. His blood pressure and other hemodynamic parameters have remained stable. His lungs are also in better condition than they were previously, and he continues to remain free from active infection. These are important positives.
At the same time, we want to give devotees a clear picture of the main concern we are facing. It has now been more than two weeks since Guru Mahārāja experienced a sudden reduction in his external consciousness. For a few days last week, we saw encouraging signs of improvement, with more eye opening, recognition, interaction, and responses to commands. However, this improvement has not been consistent.
Particularly over the last two days, Guru Mahārāja has again become more withdrawn. He spends much of the day appearing to be asleep. At times he opens his eyes and responds to commands, while at other times there is very little external response. Sometimes his caretakers sense that he wants to interact externally, but his body does not seem to have the strength or energy to do so.
The hospital doctors and devotee doctors do not yet have a clear explanation for this. Extensive investigations have been performed, and many possible causes have been examined without identifying something that fully explains his present neurological condition. The new neurological treatment is also ongoing and is being tolerated well, but so far we have not seen a clear change in his sensorium that can be attributed to it.
At present, there is a contrast that the medical team is trying to understand: Guru Mahārāja is quite stable in many aspects of his physical condition, while his external consciousness remains significantly withdrawn. Throughout this time, his caretakers continue to chant, read Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, and speak to Guru Mahārāja about the preaching activities of devotees around the world. Whether he responds externally or remains withdrawn, the Holy Names and the words of Śrīla Prabhupāda continue to surround him. We also notice that during certain periods of the day, Guru Mahārāja chants using his clicker.
We humbly request all devotees, disciples, and well-wishers to continue offering their heartfelt prayers to Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava and Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva that Guru Mahārāja may remain stable and free from infection, regain his external consciousness and strength, and continue progressing toward recovery.

MORE GBC BLUFF ON THE POISON ISSUE

Well, well... after 29 years of institutional denials that there is ANY morsel of valid evidence that Srila Prabhupada MIGHT have been maliciously poisoned, the GBC, with a lot of counsel and coaxing, finally hired their own chosen "expert" Dr. Lemos to review the Truth Labs 2024 comprehensive report on this matter. And thus they have made an even deeper commitment to their five official cover-ups on the darkest episode in ISKCON history.

1. Dr. Lemos was hired only to review the 1998-2005 hair tests done by Dr. Morris at MURR, and he ignores ALL the other evidence, because the GBC never told him about it. This "expert" does not even know what the evidence is...
2. Dr. Lemos dismisses MURR's test results by giving his opinion, that there may be problems with chain of custody, testing methods,
and many other nitpicking tactics which create doubts but do not prove anything.

When Prabhupada Truth Commission did so, and the results revealed massive heavy metals poisoning over at least 10 months in 1977, the GBC was shocked and began their criticisms and denials.

This is the heart of Kali Yuga where truth is under constant assault. By sifting through websites for the "scientific expert" needed to counteract anything, the GBC found Dr. Lemos, whose specialty is accepting payments to "scientifically" debunk any other scientific findings. Corruption is not just in governments, courts, institutions, the medical industry.... it is there in the scientific community as well.

Why do I feel sorry for newcomers who joined ISKCON? Sorry, I didn’t answer all your questions in a previous post on this. Here’s my response:
You see, if you were involved in management and ISKCON Resolve as I was, you observe things best kept hidden from general ‘rank and file’ devotees, let alone newcomers.
When we know what’s going on behind the scenes that are all over social media and still invite unwitting newcomers to join, that is misleading, unfair and dishonest, I think. It’s why I recommend following the teachings at home, in your own life, free from clerical control.
