The War is Over? / Italy Update 05 14 25

PADA: The war is over!

Thanks prabhu, yes -- Srila Prabhupada does say near the end of his time here "the war is over" regarding his God brothers. And he invited some of them to work with him. That has unfortunately morphed into, he endorses his God brothers and their claims to being pure devotees and gurus. That simply is not the case, he never said he believed these God brothers are qualified to be acharyas.

But I understand his idea. I feel like saying the same thing myself, the war is over. I have fought hard and long against these GBC's gurus and their hand maidens like Sridhara and Narayan Maharaja. But what can be accomplished now at this stage if I keep fighting them? Not much. Basically, almost everything that is happening now is sort of set up rolling along -- set in stone so to speak -- and will be hard to change or challenge. We are still changing a few people here and there, which is some sort of accomplishment.

However! Most of the GBC people, and Sridhara and Narayan people -- have set up their own camps or societies and social networks, and thus it is hard for their people to see another viewpoint, or change, or break away -- even if they wanted to. They now have husbands, wives, children, "society, friendship and love" all based on these systems. People tell me that all the time, I like your idea ... but.

As Timothy Leary said, one person having an illusion is considered to be a mental nut case, but many people having the same collective illusion -- is called a religion. If one person says he has been told by God to do something, he will be locked up. But if a bunch of people say they have been told by God to do something, that is called a religion. Hee hee, good point.

So now a lot of these collective illusions, for example that conditioned souls can be gurus, has been established as factual and bona fide in many of these ISKCON guru cults, or their spin offs like the Gaudiya Matha or Narayan Maharaja cults. Some of the ritviks have also married GBC guru disciples as their wives, and so on and so forth, because the circle of devotees is so small, thus there is a lot of cross breeding going on. Then they cannot preach against their circle of family and friends.

That makes it harder to establish a purely Prabhupada centered project, because there are so many social and economic issues that bind people to various other projects. In short, not enough people supported the Prabhupada worship idea, and so all sorts of out croppings have evolved and things just splintered off into many off shoots. That cannot be repaired easily. But if people do not understand the requirement to worship the bona fide acharya, we do not want them in our camp anyway. They will just be a nuisance.

Let us be clear, I was saying at the OUTSET in 1978-9 these ISKCON children are going to suffer severe psychological distress just due to the fact they are being trained to worship highly defective conditioned souls. That is going to cause their spiritual compass to get spun all around.

The children will then lose faith in the religion, and once their faith in Hare Krishna is destroyed, that means their entire spiritual lives will be destroyed. And that basically destroys their entire lives. Of course, we already know that from the teaching of the VEDAS, the atma hana people, the faithless, they destroy the souls of others by robbing them of faith with their false teachings. "Killers of the soul" make false religions which harm other souls from making progress, or stops them or worse, makes them curse at religion.

In sum! The killers of faith are killers of the soul of others. And that is why a number of these ex-kids now curse at the religion, they may even hate Hare Krishna, and some of them eat meat. They are done with Hare Krishna for this entire lifetime, their faith was shattered and broken. Which is more or less what I predicted in 1979, their faith will be shattered by worshiping these hokey monkey messiahs.

I honestly cannot blame them, they were given the wrong idea of the religion, and they now mistake the false version of Krishna with the real Krishna. In short, we cannot tell children to worship the GBC's: illicit sex with men, women and children; homosexual and pedophile; drunk and disorderly; porno swami and minor aged dating gurus etc. -- "chain of gurus from Vaikuntha" without them wholesale rejecting the whole process -- as they have done.

No sane person wants to worship a guru chain that contains fools and lusty dogs as their messiahs -- and that is only popular in a very teeny sized bogus cult now called ISKCON. I also said to the 4 GBC gurus that I had to help a distressed lady get her baby girl out of Bhagavan's zone in 1978 because the mother was not getting proper diapers, baby formula and sanitary napkins. And then I had to go to France and bail out householders with babies who had been abandoned at the train station, with no baby supplies.

And it was colder than the North Pole in the chateau, not a good place for a new baby, or any baby, or any kid. I had to go get the baby who had been kidnapped back to France and bring her back to UK -- and the story was in all the newspapers in UK. I had no legal papers or documents for the baby at the customs office, but the the customs folks knew right away "that is the baby," and they let me go in. It was a huge public media scandal.

In sum, it was known right out of the gate children were being deprived of necessary items, in fact it was public media news. Later on in mid 1980s I was reporting child abuses in Mayapur, New Vrndavana, LA and other places. When leaders say they did not know, that does not ring very true to me, since I knew 5,000 miles away. Moreover, they removed me from ISKCON for complaining about these issues and had me hunted for assassination, then they took out my associate and wanted to take me out.

I was saved by help from the FEDS. But they did not know? I would say, the leaders must have known. And a lot of other people must have known. And when we are discussing industrial levels of child mistreatment, more than few people knew. I am really tired of these "I never knew" arguments. Why was I being removed and hunted if no one knew why?

Anyway what can I say? I tried to raise a red flag on the child abuse, book changes and poison issue, and many other issues, and got lots of push back from leaders and rank and file. So now we have what that process has created, which is -- a shrunken down movement full of deviations, a bad media image, a bankrupted society -- with a huge track record of abuses of citizens, and thus -- a religion abandoned by its children. But this result was easy to predict.

I remember telling people, we cannot worship a lusty intoxicated dog like Jayatirtha, and all sorts of people telling me no, we need him as our acharya. Hell or high water, he is going to be our acharya. And then everyone later left, and the messiah was decapitated due to his lusty dog behaviors. OK you guys played with matches at the petrol station, and blew the place up. But that was another problem, almost everyone left and did not stay and correct the mess they made.

I tried to say -- playing with matches here is a bad idea, and -- got kicked in the head. OK so that means almost everyone who either co-conspiracy / commission or omission collectively co-created this, is thus co-responsible for these events unfolding. Just like with Draupadi, the aggressors were condemned, and those who silently did not oppose the aggressors were also condemned.

And Krishna then cursed that all of them will be punished. So yeah, the war is over. And the people who opposed us -- lost the war. And lost their society, its children, its temples, its purity, its aim and object, its original books, its money and assets, its manpower, and everything else connected to it. Because?

They wanted to establish a false religion in place of the original and pure one, and that always fails. And the war is over because, the people who sided with the Kauravas were destined to be defeated before the war even started. Their process has been defeated whether they admit or not. Those who side with adharma -- and illicit sex with men women and children acharyas -- will always lose eventually, and that is what history teaches repeatedly.

So I really do not feel any urgent need to fix things that much nowadays. I've learned that we can lead a horse to water, but cannot make him drink. Or in fact he might kick you in the head for trying to help.

In other words, most devotee are having to learn the hard way because they did not listen to Srila Prabhupada, or me, or the children who were being victimized, or even the mass media who was condemning their bogus society over and over and over and over. And then after they found out their ideas were failing, they wholesale sneaked off to avoid answering for this mess. But they will have to answer eventually, because karma's chakra cannot be defeated, diverted or ignored.

"Bhagavan Das, Narayan Maharaja and Indradyumna Swami: Spiritual Corruption and Betrayal of ISKCON" (ENGLISH TRANSLATION BELOW)

A friend and colleague has written an article on his blog raising fundamental issues regarding the management of ISKCON and the tragic evolution of its gurus, particularly referring to the figures of Bhagavan Das, Narayan Maharaja and Indradyumna Swami.

This article, which I intend to summarize (link to the full article below), raises not only spiritual but also moral concerns about current ISKCON leaders and their actions, which continue to be ignored or even justified by some within the community.

The Guru "Messiah" of ISKCON and His Connection with the "New Gurus"
Despite ISKCON’s spiritual tradition of inviting us to worship and follow authentic masters, it is evident how the process of selecting and worshiping gurus has been distorted over the years. Bhagavan Das and Narayan Maharaja are at the centre of this distortion. Bhagavan Das, a controversial figure, has continued to exert his influence on many devotees, and his connection to depraved practices like child sexual abuse has not been adequately addressed.

These practices have been promoted and removed from the shadows by those who, like Narayan Maharaja, defended ISKCON gurus with sword, never following any form of accountability or redemption.

The concept of guru and "messiah" that is presented to us today is a distorted reflection of true spirituality, where the "new gurus" are, unfortunately, associated with abuse of power, dishonorable actions and degenerate attitudes. The idea that these gurus can lead devotees towards liberation is a lie, obvious to those who observe with a keen eye the developments within the movement. Many of them, like Narayan Maharaja himself, were condescending to unacceptable behaviour, promoting the idea that only through their program, however spoiled, one could attain salvation.

Indradyumna Swami: The Central Role in Proliferation of Corruption

Indradyumna Swami is playing a decisive role in this operation of spiritual destruction. With his support, he perpetuated the cult of personality around gurus like Bhagavan Das, fostering his influence. His presence in the 'New Mayapur' saw dozens of devotees expelled, including families with children, without regard to their condition of vulnerability. His acts of cruelty have not only been ignored, but even covered up, leading to the degeneration of an entire community.

His conduct, and that of others like it, helped push ISKCON into a moral crisis that seems irrecoverable. With his authoritarian attitude and influence wielded over other leaders of the movement like Tamal Krishna Goswami, Indradyumna has perpetuated a culture in which the moral deviants are seen as spiritual leaders. This is a complete betrayal of the fundamental principles Srila Prabhupada taught.

The "Offenses" and Spiritual Consequences of Guru-Tattva Deformation

This guru-tattva distortion is not just a moral matter, but a spiritual matter of life or death. The Srimad Bhagavatam (5.5.18) emphasizes that those who are unable to free their disciples from the cycle of birth and death cannot be considered a true guru. He who leads to perdition, not only cannot save us, but condemns us to an irreversible spiritual descent. Yet, these false gurus were exalted and followed as messiahs, and those who opposed were expelled, mistreated and, in some cases, killed.

The truth is, ISKCON, under the leadership of gurus like Bhagavan and Narayan Maharaja, has embraced a programme that has seen systematic human rights violations, sexual abuse and immorality. Not only are the victims being ignored, but systematic justification and lack of repentance by spiritual leaders has perpetuated a vicious cycle of corruption.

Conclusion: The Loss of Truth and Real Spiritual Way

The tragedy of ISKCON is that the true teachings of Srila Prabhupada have been distorted and corrupted and those who were once rightly regarded as true spiritual masters have been replaced by figures who embody exactly all that authentic spiritual teaching condemns. The responsibility of those who have protected and perpetuated this state of affairs is enormous. Instead of helping the devotees attain spiritual liberation, these “gurus” are dragging them lower and lower, into the darkness of falsehood and perversion.

The current situation of ISKCON has not only compromised the spirituality of millions of devotees but has also corrupted the message of Krishna himself, replacing true devotion with a farce that has unfortunately been accepted by many as a genuine expression of bhakti.
