It has become quite the fashionable and cool thing in Iskcon these days to think that there is no real difference between mayavadis and vaishnavas, whereas of course there is a vast gulf of difference between the two categories of individuals [Rama Krishna Mission vs Srila Prabhupada].One would think that the ISKCON gurus should be ALREADY explaining all this to their disciples. If some of the gurus don’t want to do their job properly, then what are we paying them for? The gurus should be required to write an essay explaining the difference between mayavadis and vaishnavas, and should be able to list at least five famous mayavadi figures from the 20th century.
The gurus who fail the essay exam should be fired, and some new gurus should be hired to replace them. Perhaps we can hire some illegal Mexican immigrants who will work for low wages. Very little initial training would be required for their new guru job, as their philosophical understanding is already about the same as the understanding of some of the current guru guys.

Official Health Update on HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja, 18th April 2023
Dear Maharajas, disciples, devotees and well wishers,
Guru Maharaja arrived in Dallas, Texas from Los Angeles on 8th April.
There was a smriti Vyasa Puja celebration at Sri Sri Radha Kalachandji temple in Dallas on 9th April, his calendar birthdate.
Since past few years, Guru Maharaj has been having skin cancer on some parts of his forehead and nose, and this is common especially for those who are fair skinned and with sun exposure. In Guru Maharaja's case, this is also amplified by immunosuppressants due to the kidney and liver transplant he underwent earlier.
These have not been resolved with topical medications over the last few years and so we consulted various specialists in Dallas. Post biopsy, the two on his forehead were confirmed as basal cell carcinomas (BCC). An area on the left temple and on the nose came back as squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in situ. While the SCC are of concern, they are still in an early stage. They become more difficult to treat later.
We consulted multiple specialists as to the best treatment for these lesions and the two main options are image guided superficial radiation therapy and surgery along with plastic surgery reconstruction. We are in communication with the transplant team in Chennai as well for the best way forward.
The health forum will give a final summary to Guru Maharaja and his decision is expected soon. Whichever way the treatment duration will depend on the outcome of the treatment. We will keep you posted. Guru Maharaja will start topical preventive therapy today, to prevent cancer on the other areas of the scalp that are prone to cancer. Please pray for the best outcome for Guru Maharaja.

Potential Summary of ISKCON History (Nityananda das)
In Chaitanya Charitamrita Adi Lila Ch. 9-10, it is described that the transcendental Sankirtan Movement descended with Lord Chaitanya from the spiritual world to Mayapur, India some 500 years ago. The Sankirtan Movement has since grown as the “Chaitanya Tree” with many personalities and their groups being its branches, with 90 branches enunciated during and in the generation after Lord Chaitanya’s 1486 AD appearance. When Lord Chaitanya disappeared in 1533 AD, Kali sent her agents to subvert the Sankirtan Movement and it became almost lost, filled with sahaijiyas, abberants, and imposters.
In the mid-1800s Bhaktivinode Thakur wrote of 14 deviant apa-sampradaya sects of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, and by his vigorous preaching he re-established the purity and correct siddhanta of Lord Chaitanya’s teachings. His son Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur took up the same cause and in 1920 organized the Gaudiya Mission.
By 1936, when Bhaktisiddhanta left this world, he had founded 64 temples and trained thousands of disciples, and Lord Chaitanya’s movement was making substantial progress in freeing the conditioned souls from material existence. Unfortunately his leading disciples disobeyedy

his instructions and installed false acharyas, leading to a chaotic breakup and subterfuge of his accomplishments. Tamal led a major split in ISKCON to Narayana Maharaja’s rasika bhakti camp. Initiated by the New Jaipur farm community, since 1989 a new and diverse Prabhupadanuga movement based on the July 9 Order has been expanding (including the Bangalore split). Meanwhile ISKCON’s GBC struggled to deal with schisms (see Vol. 5) and the anomalies caused by their weird, illogical, and ashastric guru-initiation system. ISKCON’s first female diksha guru appeared in 2022 and its temples and secondary leaders in India were threatening to secede.
Thus the Sankirtan Movement has evolved and the Chaitanya Tree has many new branches, although there is a strong case to be made that most of the branches from 1937 onwards are diseased, dying, or dead due to severe offenses and disobedience to the instructions of [[[Srila ]]] Bhaktisiddhanta and Srila Prabhupada. A cancer patient will die unless his disease is cured by proper medical methods. The majority of the Chaitanya Tree’s branches today are not healthy, and many are likely effectively expired. The disease in question is false guru ambition, or Tamalism, or “DADS,”

Srila Prabhupada’s unchanged books and teachings are to be widely distributed, and temples opened to accommodate sincere souls worldwide. Srila Prabhupada’s divine personal mercy as the bona fide spiritual master is to be made available everywhere. Doctrinal, administrative, and conflict issues are to be justly and properly resolved based on open brahminical discussions and decisions made without material compromise or conflicts of interest. The GBC mandate from Srila Prabhupada is to manage his followers and society for the spiritual success and benefit of the devotees. But this theory is not reality.
These ideals and goals are merely talking points to justify the GBC’s existence and wrongly-assumed absolute authority. In practice, as seen from decades of history and GBC dis-management, the actual order of business is crises, scandals, schisms, deviation, disobedience of the Founder-Acharya, unaccountability, corruption, cover-ups, hypocrisy, dishonesty, duplicity, and dirty politics. All this is employed to hide the GBC’s real agenda: to facilitate their gurocracy, a regime of guru franchise operations whose purpose is to compete and gather ever more assets for bogus gurus. Temples, disciples, prestige, power, wealth, worship, and a God status... is what the GBC is dedicated to. Serving Srila Prabhupada’s divine mission as per Srila Prabhupada’s instructions is secondary, while those instructions are twisted, violated, adulterated, re-interpreted, disobeyed, modified to cultural norms, and neglected, with the guru interests accommodated and keeping ISKCON fit for further exploitation as its top priority.

However, the prediction in the shastra is that the Sankirtan Movement will thrive and spread to every cowpath village on the planet, lasting for 10,000 years. These times of difficulty and darkness are, in one way, like Lord Narasimha playfully letting go of the demon Hiranyakashipu before finally killing him. In another way, it is the opportunity for Srila Prabhupada’s and Bhaktisiddhanta’s sincere followers to meet the call of duty to rectify and restore the Sankirtan Movement, in as many branches of the Chaitanya Tree as possible.
Either way, the unbreakable Madhva-Gaudiya disciplic succession and Hare Krishna movement is destined to continue, to open the floodgates of love of God all over the world.
