[PADA: The ISKCON temples are empty but lots of people come out of the wood work for some festivals. That also happened after 1936 in the Gaudiya Matha. The temples were empty, sometimes two or three old men living there, but the mass of devotees would appear for some special festivals.
That means, the mass of devotees cannot participate in bogus guru's temples, but they still want to worship Krishna. OK. These bogus gurus are blocking the mass of people from participating in the day to day temple's programs. The mass of devotees have to boycott the bogus guru's programs, whether 1936 or now. ys pd]

JD: I always go to the big festivals too. But as soon as the part comes where the "senior devotee" gives the lecture ... I have to leave. I cannot listen to the people who went along with the whole child molesting program.
ReplyDeleteThey disgust me. Senior devotees would never have allowed all this to happen. They are not even qualified to speak at the Church barbeque festival ... those people are more advanced than them.
They are just arrogant fools posing as big shots. They do not know what is the path of religion. All they have are some faded memories of the good old glory days ... but what did they do after that ... and what happened to the children ... maybe even their own children ... they cannot explain or justify.
Nor would they even talk to us about it. They know they are wrong when it comes to that point. And that is the real point isn't it? You are either serving Krishna ... or serving a bad cult that abuses children. And they don't know which is what. What did they understand from supposedly listening to Krishna in all this time?
