[PADA: Yep, even the secular people know enough about religion to know -- sexual predators / molesters / illicit sex / is not authorized in any religion, especially when this deviation is found in the leaders. What is amazing in ISKCON is, people found their guru was falling, then they got "re-initiated" by another falling person, and / or the people who certified the fallen person as guru in the first place.
And similarly, one of the problems found in the Christians, they leave one Church that has falling down leaders, and end up in another. These guys are not actually able to explain how this process can be avoided fully, and neither does ISKCON. The good news is, more of this is being exposed and it shows people the better idea is to worship Jesus and / or Srila Prabhupada direct. That is what we recommend.
Oddly, when the Christian leaders are exposed, they often resign and leave, but ISKCON's leaders almost always hang on almost no matter what kind of a mess they create for ISKCON. And these guys say all of this scandal problem is causing many people to "jump ship" from the faith, same thing as ISKCON.
