BTGs' Yamaraja Das Cancer Fundme

The Rising Moon of the Debauchee Acharya's Program

https://www.gofundme.com/yamaraja-prabhus-cancer-treatment

[PADA: There appears to be unlimted medical treatment funds for the top echelon ISKCON "gurus," not so much money left for the little peons? The peons have to raise funds independently for their treatments?

Yep! The "Back To Godhead" magazine was supposed to be the backbone of ISKCON, but it has instead become the backbone of the debauchee and sexual predator "acharya's" process. It became a vehicle to advertise all sorts of crack pot acharyas over the years, and still is the main propaganda machine for the bogus GBC's and their false guru's program.

Just the other day we were discussing some of these points with a small group of folks, and we read the "Sri Isopanisad" quotes about how bogus gurus go to the most obnoxious regions, and so do the people who follow / support / enable their process. It seems to us at PADA that a lot of these bogus gurus suffer fall downs, illness and premature deaths, and so have a lot of their advocates / supporters / enablers / hangers on / writers etc.

Unfortunately, the Isopanisad says false gurus and their supporters are better off not to have even heard of the Vedas, because they are going to go down worse destination than the ordinary person. Yep! Even the ordinary guy on the street will have a better future life, says shastra.

This explains also why mostly the average guy in the street could figure out that this post-1978 "appointed guru" process is bogus, almost right out of the gate in the early 1980s, while many / most of the "devotees" didn't. In sum! Following the Veda Vada Rata bogus guru process of making false acharyas helps even -- somewhat sincere -- devotees devolve to a less than average "karmi" mundane citizen person status, at least that is what shastra says.

In another discussion with a devotee from Ireland we were talking about how the GBC's guru program is out there containing "illicit sex with men, women and children." Apparently, their messiahs from heaven program are considered as spiritually perfected advanced "God's guru successors" beings, because they are not having affairs with goats? They may be having affairs with everything else that moves in the house?

Anyway we hope Yamaraja will explain some of this to the countless folks he confused before he departs. And we factually hope the best for Yamaraja dasa at this point, good luck and God speed! ys pd

Yamaraja's program has also encouraged folks like Jayapataka to make pretend they are another Jesus; i.e. they can be diksha gurus who will absorb sins like Jesus is doing. How is that program working out for these folks? You means no one notices something is amiss here? If a person is not pure and he cannot burn off all these sins and karma, he TAKES IT WITH HIM into the next life. Why are they encouraging a program that leads people straight to hell in a hand basket?

Encouraging Letter RE: Killing For Krishna

PADA: Book is available on Amazon site

HD: I just received this encouraging letter from a devotee who wishes to remain anonymous:

=======================

Hare Krishna prabhu. Respects. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I read your whole book. Amazing how Krishna is using you to expose the truth. Very inspiring. No doubt you are part of a huge and important block of service that Krishna is using you to do.

I want to help in regard to the distribution of your important book. I will copy you in an email to a devotee in India that I am sure would like to help distribute the book there. I also want to send copies to important people in the USA. I am only a humble Uber driver at present, so I cannot do a lot, but I’d like to donate $200 to get the book to important people. I would also like to get maybe 5 copies more to give to friends as gifts. Let me know if we can work together on this.

As your book will undoubtedly rattle some very powerful people in ISKCON, please try your best to have your life - family and the project in order, so in case these rascal people try to hurt you, all may continue okay. If they have done it before, they could at least try it again. See if you have the up to standard PC security, so they may not be able to hack your PC and get information of your contacts and progress.

Surveillance cameras for house and vehicle, are good and not too expensive also. You openly state in the book about future books that will expose even more information that would affect more ALL of ISKCON. This is the basis of my concern. Maybe a second secret place where you would do most of your work, is a good idea.

Thanks you very much. Srila Prabhupada ki jai!

======================

[PADA: Yep. We need to get this info out there. Good idea. It is amazing that after SO MUCH PUBLIC evidence surfaces of the murders, the Federal Marshalls raiding New Vrndavana, the $400,000,000 child molesting lawsuit etc. ad infinitum ... then the GBC hand selects the leaders from that regime like Radhanath, Devamrita, Umapati, Kuladri and others from New Vrndavana to be their "newly reformed leaders." And then the GBC's leaders went ahead and buried Kirtanananda in a samadhi in Vrndavana.

As a number of abuse victims told us, this is like poking a stick in the eyes of the victims. Its also poking a stick into the eyes of the reputation of ISKCON, if means they have no concern for that issue, or they would not annoint these people as their current leadership. And these are the leaders SURA DASA (Los Angeles) wants us to surrender to? ys pd]

Nitai Pada Kamala (Srila Prabhupada video + Quotes)

Srila Prabhupada in Cc Antya-lila 2.31 purport: “Worshipers of Sri Gaurasundara accept the four syllables gau-ra-an-ga as the Gaura mantra, but pure worshipers of Radha and Krishna accept the four syllables ra-dha krs-na as the Gaura-gopala mantra. However, Vaishnavas consider Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu nondifferent from Radha-Krishna (shri-krishna-chaitanya radha-krishna nahe anya). Therefore one who chants the mantra “gauranga” and one who chants the names of Radha and Krishna are on the same level.”

(Srila Prabhupada in Cc Adi 8.31 purport) ”A neophyte student who is not sufficiently educated or enlightened should not indulge in the worship of Shri Radha and Krishna or the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra. Even if he does so, he cannot get the desired result. One should therefore chant the names of Nitai-Gaura and worship Them without false prestige. In the beginning one should *** very regularly *** chant Shri Gaurasundara’s holy name and then chant the holy name of Lord Nityananda. Thus one's heart will be cleansed of impure desires for material enjoyment. Then one can approach Vrndavana-dhama to worship Lord Krishna."

Prabhupada: “Now, what is the difference, Nitai-Gauranga and Hare Krishna? Nitai-Gauranga and Hare Krishna, there is no difference. Nitai-Gauranga is also nice. Whatever he finds convenient, let him chant.” (Shrila Prabhupada's Room Conversation with Yoga Student specifically regarding Japa, March 14, 1975, Iran)

“It is very beneficial to chant the names shri-krishna-chaitanya prabhu-nityananda before chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra because by chanting these two holy names -shri-krishna-chaitanya prabhu-nityananda-one immediately becomes ecstatic, and if he then chants the Hare Krishna maha-mantra he becomes free of offenses.” (SP in Cc Adi 8.24 purport)

Srila Prabhupada in Cc Adi-lila 8.31 purport: “It should be noted in this connection that the holy names of Lord Krishna and Gaurasundara are both identical with the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Therefore one should not consider one name to be more potent than the other. Considering the position of the people of this age, however, the *** chanting *** of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s name is *** more essential *** than the chanting of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra because Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is the most magnanimous incarnation and His mercy is very easily achieved.”

On board the ship Jaladuta, September 13, 1965, Verse 3, by Shrila Prabhupada: “By his (my Guru Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada’s) strong desire, THE HOLY NAME OF GAURANGA will first spread throughout all the countries of the Western world. Then in all the cities, towns, and villages on the earth, from all the oceans, seas, rivers, and streams, everyone will chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra.”

Srila Prabhupada’s Letter to: Niranjana, Brooklyn, 21 May, 1973: “You mention that they have not even heard of Lord Gauranga. So that is their misfortune, and our misfortune also. _________________ in India, they could not preach Lord Gauranga’s name all over India.”

Srila Prabhupada in Cc Madhya 24.330: “The spiritual master has to select a mantra for his disciple according to the disciple’s ability to chant different mantras.”

Srila Prabhupada’s Letter to: Shachimata, Bombay, 8 December, 1974: “It is the advice of Narottama das Thakura to chant the holy name of Gauranga either if one remains at home or in the forest. Similarly, do not forget the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra either you live in the temple or at home.”

Srila Prabhupada in Shrimad-Bhagavatam Lecture 2.1.2, Vrndavana, March 17, 1974: “Then you become gosvami. Then, as Narottama dasa Thakura says, grhe va banete thake ha gauranga bole dake. Ha gauranga, ‘Always chanting Nitai-Gaura, and thinking of Nitai-Gaura,’ such person, Narottama dasa Thakura says... Grhe va... ‘He may be a sannyasi, or he may be a grhastha. It doesn't matter. Because he is absorbed in the thought of Nitai-Gaura.’ So narottama mage tanra sanga: ‘Narottama is always desiring to associate with such person.’”

Srila Prabhupada in Shri Chaitanya-charitamrita class, Adi-lila 7.4, Mayapur, March 4, 1974: “Narottama dasa Thakura is aspiring for the day when Nityananda Prabhu will be pleased upon him. Just like Jagai-Madhai was delivered by the mercy of Shri Nityananda Prabhu, so we have to pray Nityananda Prabhu. He's very merciful. He's so kind, Baladeva, He gives spiritual strength. Then we can approach the Supreme Lord. Therefore we chant “Nitai-Gaura.” This is the process. We cannot change this policy.”

Srila Prabhupada in Krishna Book Chp 20, Description of Autumn: “Srila Narottama dasa Thakura prays that he will have the association of a person-either a householder or a man in the renounced order of life-who is engaged in the transcendental loving service of the Lord and is always crying the holy name of Lord Chaitanya.”

Srila Prabhupada in SB 1.5.16 purport: “The expert devotees also can discover novel ways and means to convert the nondevotees in terms of particular time and circumstance. Devotional service is dynamic activity, and the expert devotees can find out competent means to inject it into the dull brains of the materialistic population. Such transcendental activities of the devotees for the service of the Lord can bring a new order of life to the foolish society of materialistic men.”

Srila Prabhupada in Cc Adi 7.31-32 purport: “Here is an important point. Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu wanted to invent a way to capture the Mayavadis and others who did not take interest in the Krishna consciousness movement. This is the symptom of an acarya. An acarya who comes for the service of the Lord cannot be expected to conform to a stereotype, for he must find the ways and means by which Krishna consciousness may be spread.”

Srila Prabhupada during a Room Conversation, August 14, 1971, London: Prabhupada: No. We are recommending “Chant the holy name of God.” So if you have got the holy name of God, you can chant that. Prabhupada: Anyway, if one chants Allah or Jesus Christ, we have no objection. We don’t say that you stop it. We say that you chant the holy name of God. If that name is of God, you chant.”

We have to follow "the authorities"? (Sura dasa video)

[PADA: Wow! This is the whole problem all along. When we said there is: the bogus guru program; the changed books program; the child abuse program; the banning, beating, suing and assassinating dissenters program; apparently also poison of guru program; then we were essentially told -- these are all fine programs because its "following the authority of the GBC."

And now these same GBC's folks buried a known sexual predator / convicted criminal / apparently orchestrator of murder in "a samadhi." As such, we now have to tell our children that the worship of this deviant is bona fide, lest we "are not following the GBC authority"? Following what? The path to hell? And when I was in Los Angeles these folks had a lot of goondas like Ratna Bushana das there, who would basically beat down anyone who did not agree with their policy -- that acharyas are often debauchees. So this is called blind following.

Wow! Yep, you have to tell your little kids that God's successors are often "illicit sex with men, women and children" deviants, or get kicked in the head with their giant jack boots! What religion teaches their children that God's successors are often debauchees?

Worse! We have to tell our little children that God's successors are often debauchees, or get banned, removed and maybe beaten down? And Govinda Datta sent his kids to the Los Angeles Christian school, apparently because he did not want them to have that idea? He told me he would never send his kids to the GBC's "guru schools" because they might get abused, but everyone else has to send their kids there? So everyone else has to suffer and surrender their kids to the GBC, but they save themselves or their own kids from their own program? So everyone else gets tossed under the bus, except them? And Sura told me he would never worship any of these GBC guys himself, but everyone else has to?

Its also very misleading to say that all this foolishness is "what Srila Prabhupada ordered." This is how a number of ISKCON children ended up rejecting the religion, they were told all this debauchee pooja / criminal imbroglio is "what Prabhupada wanted" and we should not protest. So the GBC says that gurus (God's successors) are often debauchees and we have to follow that process and "accept the authorities." What happened to Krishna's authority? He says we have to worship His pure representatives and not bogus / ersatz / self-appointed fools?

So the successors to Krishna and Lord Chaitanya are often fallen debauchees, if not criminals and sexual predators, and that is a valid idea because its "accepting the GBC authority"? And if a person does not believe that God's successors are not often -- or even usually -- degraded debauchees, he has to be banned from ISKCON for "rejecting the authority"?

Sura, this is called misuse of authority. Banning, beating, suing, and assassinating anyone who does not believe that God's successors are often debauchees places your GBC group in the -- promoting false gurus aka "Veda vada rata" category, and for those people, its better they never even heard of the Vedas because they go to far worse hells than the normal person on the street.

The normal persons on the street would never ban, beat, sue, and assassinate anyone who does not believe that God's successors are often debauchees because for starters, they do not even believe that God's successors are often debauchees. Your idea that God's successors are often debauchees is wrong, and that you have "a system of authority" to enforce your system, makes all of you guys -- "the enforced cult ritualistic worship of deviants as acharyas program," and you guys are simply -- the enforcers.

Did we forget to mention that God's enforcers (the Yamaduttas) will chase the people who enforce the worship of debauchees with the hounds of hell? Did we forget that your folks saying God's successors are often debauchees means -- you folks are actually saying God is a Himself debauchee -- because so are His successors? Yep, you guys hate God and so you are trying to paint Him as evil because His successors are evil. So your folks places in hell are guaranteed, since anyone who attacks God like this is bound to go down, and according to the Isopanisad, will go down without a doubt. ys pd

Of course Sura program is also killing their gurus by encouraging them to accept sins without authority.

Sri Varaha Dvadasi

Srila Prabhupada glorifies Sri Varaha dev

niśamya te ghargharitaṁ sva-kheda-
kṣayiṣṇu māyāmaya-sūkarasya
janas-tapaḥ-satya-nivāsinas te
tribhiḥ pavitrair munayo ’gṛṇan sma

niśamya—just after hearing; te—those; ghargharitam—the tumultuous sound; sva-kheda—personal lamentation; kṣayiṣṇu—destroying; māyā-maya—all-merciful; sūkarasya—of Lord Boar; janaḥ—the Janaloka planet; tapaḥ—the Tapoloka planet; satya—the Satyaloka planet; nivāsinaḥ—residents; te—all of them; tribhiḥ—from the three Vedas;pavitraiḥ—by the all-auspicious mantras;munayaḥ—great thinkers and sages; agṛṇan sma—chanted

When the great sages and thinkers who are residents of Janaloka, Tapoloka and Satyaloka heard the tumultuous voice of Lord Boar, which was the all-auspicious sound of the all-merciful Lord, they chanted auspicious chants from the three Vedas

Purport

The word māyāmaya is very significant in this verse. Māyā means “mercy,” “specific knowledge” and also “illusion.” Therefore Lord Boar is everything; He is merciful, He is all knowledge, and He is illusion also. The sound which He vibrated as the boar incarnation was answered by the Vedic hymns of the great sages in the planets Janaloka, Tapoloka and Satyaloka. The highest intellectual and pious living entities live in those planets, and when they heard the extraordinary voice of the boar, they could understand that the specific sound was vibrated by the Lord and no one else.

Therefore they replied by praying to the Lord with Vedic hymns. The earth planet was submerged in the mire, but on hearing the sound of the Lord, the inhabitants of the higher planets were all jubilant because they knew that the Lord was there to deliver the earth. Therefore Brahmā and all the sages, such as Bhṛgu, Brahmā’s other sons, and learned brāhmaṇas, were enlivened, and they concertedly joined in praising the Lord with the transcendental vibrations of the Vedic hymns. The most important is the Bṛhan-nāradīya Purāṇa verse Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare/ Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare

Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.13.25

teṣāṁ satāṁ veda-vitāna-mūrtir
brahmāvadhāryātma-guṇānuvādam
vinadya bhūyo vibudhodayāya
gajendra-līlo jalam āviveśa

Playing like an elephant, He entered into the water after roaring again in reply to the Vedic prayers by the great devotees. The Lord is the object of the Vedic prayers, and thus He understood that the devotees’ prayers were meant for Him

Purport

The form of the Lord in any shape is always transcendental and full of knowledge and mercy. The Lord is the destroyer of all material contamination because His form is personified Vedic knowledge. All the Vedas worship the transcendental form of the Lord. In the Vedic mantras the devotees request the Lord to remove the glaring effulgence because it covers His real face. That is the version of the Īśopaniṣad. The Lord has no material form, but His form is always understood in terms of the Vedas. The Vedas are said to be the breath of the Lord, and that breath was inhaled by Brahmā, the original student of the Vedas.

The breathing from the nostril of Brahmā caused the appearance of Lord Boar, and therefore the boar incarnation of the Lord is the personified Vedas. The glorification of the incarnation by the sages on the higher planets consisted of factual Vedic hymns. Whenever there is glorification of the Lord, it is to be understood that Vedic mantras are being rightly vibrated. The Lord was therefore pleased when such Vedic mantras were chanted, and to encourage His pure devotees, He roared once more and entered the water to rescue the submerged earth. Srimad-Bhagavatam, 3.13.26

sa vajra-kūṭāṅga-nipāta-vega-
viśīrṇa-kukṣiḥ stanayann udanvān
utsṛṣṭa-dīrghormi-bhujair ivārtaś
cukrośa yajñeśvara pāhi meti

Diving into the water like a giant mountain, Lord Boar divided the middle of the ocean, and two high waves appeared as the arms of the ocean, which cried loudly as if praying to the Lord, “O Lord of all sacrifices, please do not cut me in two! Kindly give me protection!”

Purport

Even the great ocean was perturbed by the falling of the mountainlike body of the transcendental boar, and it appeared to be frightened, as if death were imminent. Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.13.29

khuraiḥ kṣuraprair darayaṁs tad āpa
utpāra-pāraṁ tri-parū rasāyām
dadarśa gāṁ tatra suṣupsur agre
yāṁ jīva-dhānīṁ svayam abhyadhatta

Lord Boar penetrated the water with His hooves, which were like sharp arrows, and found the limits of the ocean, although it was unlimited. He saw the earth, the resting place for all living beings, lying as it was in the beginning of creation, and He personally lifted it.

Purport

The word rasāyām is sometimes interpreted to mean Rasātala, the lowest planetary system, but that is not applicable in this connection, according to Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura. The earth is seven times superior to the other planetary systems, namely Tala, Atala, Talātala, Vitala, Rasātala, Pātāla, etc. Therefore the earth cannot be situated in the Rasātala planetary system. It is described in the Viṣṇu-dharma:

pātāla-mūleśvara-bhoga-saṁhatau
vinyasya pādau pṛthivīṁ ca bibhrataḥ
yasyopamāno na babhūva so ’cyuto
mamāstu māṅgalya-vivṛddhaye hariḥ

Therefore the Lord found the earth on the bottom of the Garbhodaka Ocean, where the planets rest during the devastation at the end of Brahmā’s day.. Srimad-Bhagavatm 3.13.30

Books : Bhagavad-gita As It Is (1972) : Bg 6: Sankhya-yoga : Bg 6.47 :

PURPORT :

It is by great fortune that one comes to Kṛṣṇa consciousness on the path of bhakti-yoga to become well situated according to the Vedic direction. The ideal yogī concentrates his attention on Kṛṣṇa, who is called Śyāmasundara, who is as beautifully colored as a cloud, whose lotus-like face is as effulgent as the sun, whose dress is brilliant with jewels and whose body is flower garlanded. Illuminating all sides is His gorgeous luster, which is called the brahmajyoti.

He incarnates in different forms such as Rāma, Nṛsiṁha, Varāha and Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and He descends like a human being, as the son of Mother Yaśodā, and He is known as Kṛṣṇa, Govinda and Vāsudeva. He is the perfect child, husband, friend and master, and He is full with all opulences and transcendental qualities. If one remains fully conscious of these features of the Lord, he is called the highest yogī.

Books : Bhagavad-gita As It Is (1972) : Bg 18: Conclusion-The Perfection of Renunciation : Bg 18.65 : PURPORT :

These words stress that one should concentrate his mind upon Kṛṣṇa-the very form with two hands carrying a flute, the bluish boy with a beautiful face and peacock feathers in His hair. There are descriptions of Kṛṣṇa found in the Brahma-saṁhitā and other literatures. One should fix his mind on this original form of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa. He should not even divert his attention to other forms of the Lord. The Lord has multi-forms, as Viṣṇu, Nārāyaṇa, Rāma, Varāha, etc., but a devotee should concentrate his mind on the form that was present before Arjuna. Concentration of the mind on the form of Kṛṣṇa constitutes the most confidential part of knowledge, and this is disclosed to Arjuna because Arjuna is the most dear friend of Kṛṣṇa's.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 1:"Creation" : SB 1.1: Questions by the Sages : SB 1.1.17 : PURPORT :

As the supreme controller of both the material and spiritual worlds, the Lord has different incarnations of unlimited categories. Incarnations like Brahmā, Rudra, Manu, Pṛthu and Vyāsa are His material qualitative incarnations, but His incarnations like Rāma, Narasiṁha, Varāha and Vāmana are His transcendental incarnations. Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the fountainhead of all incarnations, and He is therefore the cause of all causes..

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 1:"Creation" : SB 1.3: Krsna Is the Source of All Incarnations : SB 1.3.5 : PURPORT :

In different millennia there are different incarnations, and they are innumerable, although some of them are very prominent, such as Matsya, Kūrma, Varāha, Rāma, Nṛsiṁha, Vāmana and many others. These incarnations are called līlā incarnations. Then there are qualitative incarnations such as Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva (or Rudra) who take charge of the different modes of material nature,.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 1:"Creation" : SB 1.3: Krsna Is the Source of All Incarnations : SB 1.3.26 : PURPORT :

The list of incarnations of the Personality of Godhead given herein is not complete. It is only a partial view of all the incarnations. There are many others, such as Śrī Hayagrīva, Hari, Haṁsa, Pṛśnigarbha, Vibhu, Satyasena, Vaikuṇṭha, Sārvabhauma, Viṣvaksena, Dharmasetu, Sudhāmā, Yogeśvara, Bṛhadbhānu and others of the bygone ages. Śrī Prahlāda Mahārāja said in his prayer, "My Lord, You manifest as many incarnations as there are species of life, namely the aquatics, the vegetables, the reptiles, the birds, the beasts, the men, the demigods, etc., just for the maintenance of the faithful and the annihilation of the unfaithful.

You advent Yourself in this way in accordance with the necessity of the different yugas. In the Kali-yuga You have incarnated garbed as a devotee." This incarnation of the Lord in the Kali-yuga is Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. There are many other places, both in the Bhāgavatam and in other scriptures, in which the incarnation of the Lord as Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is explicitly mentioned. In the Brahma-saṁhitā also it is said indirectly that although there are many incarnations of the Lord, such as Rāma, Nṛsiṁha, Varāha, Matsya, Kūrma and many others, the Lord Himself sometimes incarnates in person. Lord Kṛṣṇa and Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu are not, therefore, incarnations, but the original source of all other incarnations. This will be clearly explained in the next śloka.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 1:"Creation" : SB 1.3: Krsna Is the Source of All Incarnations : SB 1.3.28 : PURPORT :

For example, Lord Paraśurāma and Lord Nṛsiṁha displayed unusual opulence by killing the disobedient kṣatriyas twenty-one times and killing the greatly powerful atheist Hiraṇyakaśipu. Hiraṇyakaśipu was so powerful that even the demigods in other planets would tremble simply by the unfavorable raising of his eyebrow. The demigods in the higher level of material existence many, many times excel the most well-to-do human beings, in duration of life, beauty, wealth, paraphernalia, and in all other respects. Still they were afraid of Hiraṇyakaśipu. Thus we can simply imagine how powerful Hiraṇyakaśipu was in this material world.

But even Hiraṇyakaśipu was cut into small pieces by the nails of Lord Nṛsiṁha. This means that anyone materially powerful cannot stand the strength of the Lord's nails. Similarly, Jāmadagnya displayed the Lord's power to kill all the disobedient kings powerfully situated in their respective states. The Lord's empowered incarnation Nārada and plenary incarnation Varāha, as well as indirectly empowered Lord Buddha, created faith in the mass of people. The incarnations of Rāma and Dhanvantari displayed His fame, and Balarāma, Mohinī and Vāmana exhibited His beauty. Dattātreya, Matsya, Kumāra and Kapila exhibited His transcendental knowledge. Nara and Nārāyaṇa Ṛṣis exhibited His renunciation. So all the different incarnations of the Lord indirectly or directly manifested different features, but Lord Kṛṣṇa, the primeval Lord, exhibited the complete features of Godhead, and thus it is confirmed that He is the source of all other incarnations.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 2: "The Cosmic Manifestation" : SB 2.10: Bhagavatam Is the Answer to All Questions : SB 2.10.47 : PURPORT :

The present duration of a kalpa of Brahmā is called the Varāha-kalpa or Śvetavarāha-kalpa because the incarnation of the Lord as Varāha took place during the creation of Brahmā, who was born on the lotus coming out of the abdomen of Viṣṇu. Therefore this Varāha-kalpa is also called Pādma-kalpa, and this is testified by ācāryas like Jīva Gosvāmī as well as Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura in pursuance of the first commentator, Svāmī Śrīdhara. So there is no contradiction between the Varāha and the Pādma-kalpa of Brahmā.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 3: "The Status Quo" : SB 3.5: Vidura's Talks with Maitreya : SB 3.5.7 : PURPORT :

The Lord appears in this universe in different incarnations like Matsya, Kūrma, Varāha and Nṛsiṁha, and He manifests His different transcendental activities for the welfare of the twice-born, the cows and the demigods. The Lord is directly concerned with the twice-born or civilized men. A civilized man is one who has taken his birth twice. A living entity takes birth in this mundane world due to the union of male and female. A human being is born due to union of the father and mother, but a civilized human being has another birth by contact with a spiritual master, who becomes the actual father. The father and mother of the material body are so only in one birth, and in the next birth the father and mother may be a different couple.

But the bona fide spiritual master, as the representative of the Lord, is the eternal father because the spiritual master has the responsibility to lead the disciple to spiritual salvation, or the ultimate goal of life. Therefore, a civilized man must be twice-born, otherwise he is no more than the lower animals.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 3: "The Status Quo" : SB 3.9: Brahma's Prayers for Creative Energy : SB 3.9.4 : PURPORT :

The Lord expands Himself as the flames of a fire expand one after another. Although the original flame, or Śrī Kṛṣṇa, is accepted as Govinda, the Supreme Person, all other expansions, such as Rāma, Nṛsiṁha and Varāha, are as potent as the original Lord. All such expanded forms are transcendental. In the beginning of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam it is made clear that the Supreme Truth is eternally uncontaminated by material touch. There is no jugglery of words and activities in the transcendental kingdom of the Lord. All the Lord’s forms are transcendental, and such manifestations are ever identical. The particular form of the Lord exhibited to a devotee is not mundane, even though the devotee may retain material desire, nor is it manifest under the influence of material energy, as is foolishly considered by the impersonalists. Impersonalists who consider the transcendental forms of the Lord to be products of the material world are surely destined for hell.

Srila Prabhupada explains the significance of Varaha-kalpa.
Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 3: "The Status Quo" : SB 3.11: Calculation of Time, from the Atom : SB 3.11.35 : PURPORT :

According to Padma Purāṇa (Prabhāsa-khaṇḍa), in thirty days of Brahmā many kalpas take place, such as the Varāha-kalpa and Pitṛ-kalpa. Thirty days make one month of Brahmā, beginning from the full moon to the disappearance of the moon. Twelve such months complete one year, and fifty years complete one parārdha, or one half the duration of the life of Brahmā. The Śveta-varāha appearance of the Lord is the first birthday of Brahmā. The birth date of Brahmā is in the month of March, according to Hindu astronomical calculation. This statement is reproduced from the explanation of Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura.

ayaṁ tu kathitaḥ kalpo
dvitīyasyāpi bhārata
vārāha iti vikhyāto
yatrāsīc chūkaro hariḥ

ayam—this; tu—but; kathitaḥ—known as; kalpaḥ—the current millennium; dvitīyasya—of the second half; api—certainly; bhārata—O descendant of Bharata; vārāhaḥ—Vārāha; iti—thus; vikhyātaḥ—is celebrated; yatra—in which; āsīt—appeared; śūkaraḥ—hog shape; hariḥ—the Personality of Godhead.

O descendant of Bharata, the first millennium in the second half of the life of Brahmā is also known as the Vārāha millennium because the Personality of Godhead appeared in that millennium as the hog incarnation.

Purport

The different millenniums known as the Brāhma, Pādma and Vārāha kalpas appear a little puzzling for the layman. There are some scholars who think these kalpas to be one and the same. According to Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī, the Brāhma-kalpa in the beginning of the first half appears to be the Pādma-kalpa. We can, however, simply abide by the text and understand that the present millennium is in the second half of the duration of the life of Brahmā.

Appearance of Lord Varaha : SB 3.13.31 : PURPORT :

According to Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī, the Vedic literatures describe the incarnation of Lord Varāha (Boar) in two different devastations, namely the Cākṣuṣa devastation and the Svāyambhuva devastation. This particular appearance of the boar incarnation actually took place in the Svāyambhuva devastation, when all planets other than the higher ones—Jana, Mahar and Satya—merged in the water of devastation. This particular incarnation of the boar was seen by the inhabitants of the planets mentioned above. Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī suggests that the sage Maitreya amalgamated both the boar incarnations in different devastations and summarized them in his description to Vidura.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 3: "The Status Quo" : SB 3.18: The Battle Between Lord Boar and the Demon Hiranyaksa : SB 3.18.2 : PURPORT :

In a previous chapter we have discussed the incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead as Varāha, the boar. While Varāha, with His tusks, engaged in uplifting the submerged earth from the depths of the waters, this great demon Hiraṇyākṣa met Him and challenged Him, calling Him a beast. Demons cannot understand the incarnations of the Lord; they think that His incarnations as a fish or boar or tortoise are big beasts only. They misunderstand the body of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, even in His human form, and they deride His descent. In the Caitanya-sampradāya there is sometimes a demoniac misconception about the descent of Nityānanda Prabhu. Nityānanda Prabhu’s body is spiritual, but demoniac persons consider the body of the Supreme Personality to be material, just like ours. Avajānanti māṁ mūḍhāḥ: persons who have no intelligence deride the transcendental form of the Lord as material.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 3: "The Status Quo" : SB 3.21: Conversation Between Manu and Kardama : SB 3.21.3 : PURPORT :

Here we are speaking of Svāyambhuva Manu, but in Bhagavad-gītā we hear about Vaivasvata Manu. The present age belongs to the Vaivasvata Manu. Svāyambhuva Manu was previously ruling, and his history begins from the Varāha age, or the millennium when the Lord appeared as the boar. There are fourteen Manus in one day of the life of Brahmā, and in the life of each Manu there are particular incidents. The Vaivasvata Manu of Bhagavad-gītā is different from Svāyambhuva Manu.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 3: "The Status Quo" : SB 3.24: The Renunciation of Kardama Muni : SB 3.24.6 : PURPORT :

It is clearly stated here that the Lord is always the Supreme Personality of Godhead, although He appeared as the son of Kardama Muni. Fire is already present in wood, but by a certain process, fire is kindled. Similarly, God is all-pervading. He is everywhere, and since He may come out from everything, He appeared in His devotee’s semen. Just as an ordinary living entity takes his birth by taking shelter of the semen of a certain living entity, the Supreme Personality of Godhead accepts the shelter of the semen of His devotee and comes out as His son. This manifests His full independence to act in any way, and it does not mean that He is an ordinary living entity forced to take birth in a certain type of womb. Lord Nṛsiṁha appeared from the pillar of Hiraṇyakaśipu’s palace, Lord Varāha appeared from the nostril of Brahmā, and Lord Kapila appeared from the semen of Kardama, but this does not mean that the nostril of Brahmā or the pillar of Hiraṇyakaśipu’s palace or the semen of Kardama Muni is the source of the appearance of the Lord.

The Lord is always the Lord. Bhagavān madhusūdanaḥ—He is the killer of all kinds of demons, and He always remains the Lord, even if He appears as the son of a particular devotee. The word kārdamam is significant, for it indicates that the Lord had some devotional affection or relationship in devotional service with Kardama and Devahūti. But we should not mistakenly understand that He was born just like an ordinary living entity from the semen of Kardama Muni in the womb of Devahūti

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 4: "The Creation of the Fourth Order" : SB 4.8: Dhruva Maharaja Leaves Home for the Forest : SB 4.8.57 : PURPORT

The conditioned soul accepts a particular type of body, such as the body of a hog, by his work and by the superior authority of material nature. But when Lord Kṛṣṇa appears in the incarnation of a boar, He is not the same kind of hog as an ordinary animal. Kṛṣṇa appears as Varāha-avatāra in an expansive feature which cannot be compared to an ordinary hog’s. His appearance and disappearance are inconceivable to us. In the Bhagavad-gītā it is clearly said that He appears by His own internal potency for the protection of the devotees and the annihilation of the nondevotees. A devotee should always consider that Kṛṣṇa does not appear as an ordinary human being or ordinary beast; His appearance as Varāha-mūrti or a horse or tortoise is an exhibition of His internal potency.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 4: "The Creation of the Fourth Order" : SB 4.21: Instructions by Maharaja Prthu : SB-4.21.40 : PURPORT :

“Birth after birth I desire to serve the lotus feet of the ācāryas and live in a society of devotees.” A spiritual atmosphere can be maintained only by living in a society of devotees and by serving the orders of the ācāryas. The spiritual master is the best brāhmaṇa. At present, in the age of Kali, it is very difficult to render service to the brāhmaṇa-kula, or the brāhmaṇa class. The difficulty, according to the Varāha Purāṇa, is that demons, taking advantage of Kali-yuga, have taken birth in brāhmaṇa families. Rākṣasāḥ kalim āśritya jāyante brahma-yoniṣu (Varāha Purāṇa). In other words, in this age there are many so-called caste brāhmaṇas and caste Gosvāmīs who, taking advantage of the śāstra and of the innocence of people in general, claim to be brāhmaṇas and Vaiṣṇavas by hereditary right.

One will not derive any benefit by rendering service to such false brāhmaṇa-kulas. One must therefore take shelter of a bona fide spiritual master and his associates and should also render service to them, for such activity will greatly help the neophyte in attaining full satisfaction. This has been very clearly explained by Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura in his explanation of the verse vyavasāyātmikā buddhir ekeha kuru-nandana (Bg. 2.41). By actually following the regulative principles of bhakti-yoga as recommended by Śrīla Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura, one can very quickly come to the transcendental platform of liberation, as explained in this verse (atyanta-śamam).

Hanuman Croatia reviews "Killing for Krishna"

Hanuman das (Croatia): I was always wondering how it is possible that I was banned from coming to a local temple just because I don’t believe Ramesh baba is divine and because I couldn’t accept sannyasis with female secretaries. Well, little did I know, that this is standard practice in ISKCON, nonsense is always protected, especially if nonsense is done by “pure devotees”, and those who point out things which are very wrong are called “offenders.” Actually, I am lucky that I wasn’t killed.

[PADA: Right, now you folks are catching on. These 11 "pure devotees" were frauds from square one. The 11 were never appointed as pure devotees and gurus. Up to now, Hanuman / Torben / Ajit Krishna and others seem to think that these 11 GBC were appointed as gurus, and they were designated way beyond proxies (ritviks). Torben even says recently the ritviks have "a hole in their boat," apparently because we do not accept that these 11 (or those voted in by the 11) are "pure devotee gurus." OK, neither do we think that orchestrated banning, beating, suing, molesting and assassinating are the results of a guru sabha.

They were not appointed as gurus.

And up to now the Hanuman group seems to think folks like Bhakti Vikas Swami are gurus because BVKS was voted in as guru by some of these 11. Nope! If the 11 were not appointed as gurus, but only at best as ritviks, then they had no authority to "vote in" more folks as gurus either. And yes, the GBC / Bhakti Vikas swami group can orchestrate murders of "dissenters."

If they are bona fide gurus, why would dissenters fear being assassinted? A devotee told PADA that BVKS lectured in South India recently and he insulted the crowd and made a lot of local people angry. These guys are just making it harder for the sincere people to go there and preach later on. They are burning things down to make it harder for the mission of Krishna and Srila Prabhupada to go on.]

I am currently reading new book that just recently came out, called “Killing for Krishna”, which is available on Amazon. By reading this book, all pieces of the puzzle are coming together and it is becoming more clear why I was kicked from ISKCON. I was not the first one who had to pay the price of not willing to be “humble”. Humble of course, in ISKCON context, means to be stupid, and to remain quiet. Here are some examples of how other offenders were dealt with.

Few months before the murder:

This is statement was published by GBC body just a few months before Sulocana was killed, they pretty much called him offender and claimed that all problems of New Vrindavan community are his imagination:

"We find abhorrent the blasphemous and insinuating language, as well as the prematurely broadcasted and unsubstantiated allegations against Kirtanananda Maharaja, Srila Bhaktipada, by Sriman Sulochan dasa Adhikari. Although not included in his formal complaint to the GBC / PC, the allegations made by Sulochan dasa in letters and papers distributed widely in ISKCON, have merely served to demean, slander and blaspheme the character of Srila Bhaktipada in a manner unprecedented in ISKCON.

Such unsubstantiated allegations, especially when accompanied with blasphemy, are clearly vaisnava-aparadha [offenses] to the highest degree…. Thus any complaint, legitimate or not, becomes distasteful and disgusting to one’s brahminical sense when overshadowed by blasphemy and invective. Sulochan dasa should, therefore, seek forgiveness from Srila Bhaktipada for his offenses."

(GBC Privilege committee Report, cited by Steven Bryant (Sulocan), “GBC Findings”, 4-5)

[PADA: Right. The GBC's "privilege committee" folks like Mukunda swami, Rupanuga and others made it clear they sided with Kirtanananda. Sulochana said these people "painted a bull's eye on my back." So that means: the entire GBC and their complaints department "committee" has been implicated in boosting Kirtanananda, and they are still implicated NOW in boosting his top henchmen like Radhanath, Devamrita, Umapati, Kuladri and so on.

And so Hopefully Rocana, Hanuman Croatia, Torben, Ajit Krishna and these others are going to eventually figure out that their heros like Bhakti Vikas swami are implicated in all this imbroglio, because he is a card carrying member of their GBC guru group. And lets not forget, some GBC's guru folks allowed or encouraged Kirtanananda to be buried in a samadhi in Vrndavana, so they are still propping him up TODAY.]

Since Sulocana didn’t apologize to Kirtanananda, he was killed by that same “pure devotee” Kirtanananda Swami. GBC obviously sided with a criminal here, and therefore they are as guilty as Kirtananda’s gangsters who actually executed the murder.

Everybody is lying

Another “pure devotee”, Radhanath baba, said that all devotees who claimed something is wrong in New Vrindavan are lying. So, everybody is lying, only Radhanath baba is correct. Here is another quote (emphasis mine):

"It seems that Radhanath Swami didn’t really realize how serious the problem was with your wife. But after I talked with him and explained that you were getting the testimonies of many former devotees from New Vrindaban and other ISKCON areas, and that this was going to be exposed soon unless some action was taken, he began to realize the significance of the situation…. [I spoke with Radhanath Swami for] four or five hours that first session, but I don’t think the impact of it really hit him until he got back to New Vrindaban.

We had gone over a lot of the points you were making about New Vrindaban. That there were a lot of off things going on there. His reply was that they were all lies. That everybody was lying. All the disgruntled masses were just liars. I said that’s not so, that there were some very bona fide complaints. I said that if he was prepared to defend himself from all those statements to the media then he had nothing to worry about, but on the other hand if there was some genuineness to any of these complaints and problems, then they were definitely going to be in trouble. So he phoned me (two days after he left) [on Friday, October 25th] and he said, “Yes, I’ve thought about it, and I think this media thing will be a lot of trouble for us. I want to try and negotiate something now to resolve this so it doesn’t become a mass media issue.” He said that I should find out what your minimum demands were…." (Henry Doktorski’s new book, Killing for Krishna)

So, Radhanath baba claim that everybody is lying, and everything is great in New Vrindavan. After the murder happened, another “pure devotee”, Devamrta Swami, wrote an article in New Vrindavan’s paper, telling everybody not to speak with the police, because police are demons, and envious fault finders:

"Scarcely a week after Sulochan’s murder, one high-ranking ISKCON sannyasi who had come to live at the community a few months earlier, Devamrita Swami, wrote a feature article for the New Vrindaban News titled “A Word To The Wise Is Sufficient” which warned devotees to keep their mouths shut if questioned by the media or police. If anyone knew of any criminal activities, he said, they should report it not to the police nor to the media, but to the temple authorities, who would, it was implied, take whatever action they deemed appropriate. Devamrita Swami preached: Life in the material world is constantly full of upheavals, and a fruitive worker never ceases his efforts to squeeze out some sense gratification, regardless of whether the situation is one of so-called happiness or so-called distress.

Right now the media and some law enforcement officials are amusing themselves by harassing the New Vrindaban Community about the death of one great vaisnava-aparadhi (offender) on the west coast. The media and some police are clearly more interested in creating a sensationalistic atmosphere and profiting from it than in reporting truth or stopping violence. Therefore, if our devotees engage in wild rumors and gossip about the mundane affairs of L. A. street crime, they can actually help the karmis toward their sublime goal of an endless stream of “juicy” news to report and “suspicious” hearsay to interrogate innocent devotees about." (book Killing for Krishna)

[PADA: Well yes, law enforcement had to be called in to take these guys program down by raiding New Vrndavana, the GBC was apparently not going to fix it ever.]
Present day:

As I am reading through the book, it comes much clearer why Prahladananda lied to me, here is his letter from last year:

"Sacinandana Maharaja has not had Bhanu Nandini dasi as a secretary for more
than 2 years. Since then she has only had his association in the company of
many other devotees. After investigating I have found your allegations to be false. Therefore, I believe you have committed Vaisnava aparadha and it is in your best interest to apologize publicly.

Yours in the service of Srila Prabhupada, Prahladananda Swami (Prahladananda’s email to me)

Only problem that after these letter, couple of new videos and photos appeared on the internet, which prove that Sacinandana baba is still travelling with his female secretary, they were caught in New York, London, Vrindavan and many other places.

Conclusion:

I am still not done reading the book, after I am done, I will make a video review of the book, and that will probably be the last article regarding ISKCON and it’s problems for quite some time. It seems that people who are in the top management of ISKCON today, were murder accomplices in the past. So, my website and my articles about sannyasis with female secretaries look really stupid compared to that.

As long as murder accomplice Radhanath baba is member of GBC body and guru in ISKCON, I don’t want to have anything to do with this society of crazy people. They make Prabhupada looks like some kind of gangster, and that is a society which I definitely don’t want to be a part of.

[PADA: Right, who cares if they have a female secretary if they are orchestrating crimes? Why be part of a society of false gurus and criminals? At least the ritviks are worshiping a pure devotee and they understand that these false gurus are criminals and deviants. Hanuman should help us re-establish the worship of the pure devotee and expose these frauds. ys pd]

Kulimela 2018 Radhadesh

https://sitatbell5.wixsite.com/kulimela

PADA: Hey can we get some Prabhupadanugas to attend here? As we already reported awhile ago, the ex-gardener at Radhadesh was absolutely shocked when he returned after some years to see that his amazing flower gardens and pond on the rear of the property had turned into -- a tangled jungle of weeds. We called that "planting the weeds" -- heh heh heh. ys pd

Gurus and Thieves

Pusta Krsna: Srila Prabhupada, you mentioned two different types of servitors. One is seeking to steal the property of the master as soon as the master is gone, and the other is sitting waiting...
Prabhupada: He's thief; he's not servant. He's a thief. He has taken service as a matter of means that "If I remain as a servant, I'll get the opportunity of stealing." So he's not a servant, he's a thief.

Today is the disappearance day of Sri Madhvacarya

Today is the disappearance day of Sri Madhvacarya, who is the sampradaya-acarya of our Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya Vaisnava Sampradaya.
Compiled by Yasoda nandana dasa
Srila Prabhupada: “Srila Madhvacarya is the original acarya for those who belong to the Madhva-Gaudiya-sampradaya.” (Srimad Bhagavatam, 6.1.40.purport

"... This Madhva-Gaudiya-sampradaya is also known as the Brahma-sampradaya because the disciplic succession originally began from Brahma. Brahma instructed the sage Narada, Narada instructed Vyasadeva, and Vyasadeva instructed Madhva Muni, or Madhvacarya...” (Krsna Book, Introduction)

CC Adi 1.19 pp. — The devotees of Orissa are called Udiyas, the devotees of Bengal are called Gaudiyas, and the devotees of southern India are known as Dravida devotees. As there are five provinces in Aryavarta, so Daksinatya, southern India, is also divided into five provinces, which are called Panca-dravida. The four Vaisnava acaryas who are the great authorities of the four Vaisnava disciplic successions, as well as Sripada Sankaracarya of the Mayavada school, appeared in the Panca-dravida provinces. Among the four Vaisnava acaryas, who are all accepted by the Gaudiya Vaisnavas, Sri Ramanuja Acarya appeared in the southern part of Andhra Pradesh at Mahabhutapuri, Sri Madhva Acarya appeared at Pajakam (near Vimanagiri) in the district of Mangalore, Sri Visnusvami appeared at Pandya, and Sri Nimbarka appeared at Mungera-patana in the extreme south.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu accepted the chain of disciplic succession from Madhva Acarya, but the Vaisnavas in His line do not accept the tattva-vadis, who also claim to belong to the Madhva-sampradaya. To distinguish themselves clearly from the tattva-vadi branch of Madhva’s descendants, the Vaisnavas of Bengal prefer to call themselves Gaudiya Vaisnavas. Sri Madhva Acarya is also known as Sri Gauda-purnananda, and therefore the name Madhva-Gaudiya-sampradaya is quite suitable for the disciplic succession of the Gaudiya Vaisnavas. Our spiritual master, Om Visnupada Srimad Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami Maharaja, accepted initiation in the Madhva-Gaudiya-sampradaya.

The Life of Sri Madhvacarya

CC Madhya 9.245-278 pp. — Sripada Madhvacarya took his birth at Udupi, which is situated in the South Kanarada district of South India, just west of Sahyadri. This is the chief city of the South Kanarada province and is near the city of Mangalore, which is situated to the south of Udupi. In the city of Udupi is a place called Pajaka-ksetra, where Madhvacarya took his birth in a Sivalli-brahmana dynasty as the son of Madhyageha Bhatta, in the year 1040 Sakabda (A.D. 1119). According to some, he was born in the year 1160 Sakabda (A.D. 1239

In his childhood Madhvacarya was known as Vasudeva, and there are some wonderful stories surrounding him. It is said that once when his father had piled up many debts, Madhvacarya converted tamarind seeds into actual coins to pay them off. When he was five years old, he was offered the sacred thread. A demon named Maniman lived near his abode in the form of a snake, and at the age of five Madhvacarya killed that snake with the toe of his left foot. When his mother was very much disturbed, he would appear before her in one jump. He was a great scholar even in childhood, and although his father did not agree, he accepted sannyasa at the age of twelve. Upon receiving sannyasa from Acyuta Preksa, he received the name Purnaprajna Tirtha.

After traveling all over India, he finally discussed scriptures with Vidyasankara, the exalted leader of Srngeri-matha. Vidyasankara was actually diminished in the presence of Madhvacarya. Accompanied by Satya Tirtha, Madhvacarya went to Badarikasrama. It was there that he met Vyasadeva and explained his commentary on the Bhagavad-gita before him. Thus he became a great scholar by studying before Vyasadeva.

By the time he came to the Ananda-matha from Badarikasrama, Madhvacarya had finished his commentary on the Bhagavad-gita. His companion Satya Tirtha wrote down the entire commentary. When Madhvacarya returned from Badarikasrama, he went to Ganjama, which is on the bank of the river Godavari. There he met with two learned scholars named Sobhana Bhatta and Svami Sastri. Later these scholars became known in the disciplic succession of Madhvacarya as Padmanabha Tirtha and Narahari Tirtha.

When he returned to Udupi, he would sometimes bathe in the ocean. On such an occasion he composed a prayer in five chapters. Once, while sitting beside the sea engrossed in meditation upon Lord Sri Krsna, he saw that a large boat containing goods for Dvaraka was in danger. He gave some signs by which the boat could approach the shore, and it was saved. The owners of the boat wanted to give him a present, and at the time Madhvacarya agreed to take some gopi-candana. He received a big lump of gopi-candana, and as it was being brought to him, it broke apart and revealed a large Deity of Lord Krsna.

The Deity had a stick in one hand and a lump of food in the other. As soon as Madhvacarya received the Deity of Krsna in this way, he composed a prayer. The Deity was so heavy that not even thirty people could lift it. Madhvacarya personally brought this Deity to Udupi. Madhvacarya had eight disciples, all of whom took sannyasa from him and became directors of his eight monasteries. Worship of the Lord Krsna Deity is still going on at Udupi according to the plans Madhvacarya established.

Madhvacarya then for the second time visited Badarikasrama. While he was passing through Maharashtra, the local king was digging a big lake for the public benefit. As Madhvacarya passed through that area with his disciples, he was also obliged to help in the excavation. After some time, when Madhvacarya visited the king, he engaged the king in that work and departed with his disciples.

Often in the province of Ganga-pradesa there were fights between Hindus and Muslims. The Hindus were on one bank of the river, and the Muslims on the other. Due to the community tension, no boat was available for crossing the river. The Muslim soldiers were always stopping passengers on the other side, but Madhvacarya did not care for these soldiers. He crossed the river anyway, and when he met the soldiers on the other side, he was brought before the king.

The Muslim king was so pleased with him that he wanted to give him a kingdom and some money, but Madhvacarya refused. While walking on the road, he was attacked by some dacoits, but by his bodily strength he killed them all. When his companion Satya Tirtha was attacked by a tiger, Madhvacarya separated them by virtue of his great strength. When he met Vyasadeva, he received from him the salagrama-sila known as Astamurti. After this, he summarized the Mahabharata.

Madhvacarya’s devotion to the Lord and his erudite scholarship became known throughout India. Consequently the owners of the Srngeri-matha, established by Sankaracarya, became a little perturbed. At that time the followers of Sankaracarya were afraid of Madhvacarya’s rising power, and they began to tease Madhvacarya’s disciples in many ways. There was even an attempt to prove that the disciplic succession of Madhvacarya was not in line with Vedic principles. A person named Pundarika Puri, a follower of the Mayavada philosophy of Sankaracarya, came before Madhvacarya to discuss the sastras.

It is said that all of Madhvacarya’s books were taken away, but later they were found with the help of King Jayasimha, ruler of Kumla. In discussion, Pundarika Puri was defeated by Madhvacarya. A great personality named Trivikramacarya, who was a resident of Visnumangala, became Madhvacarya’s disciple, and his son later became Narayanacarya, the composer of Sri Madhva-vijaya. After the death of Trivikramacarya, the younger brother of Narayanacarya took sannyasa and later became known as Visnu Tirtha.

It was reputed that there was no limit to the bodily strength of Purnaprajna, Madhvacarya. There was a person named Kadanjari who was famed for possessing the strength of thirty men. Madhvacarya placed the big toe of his foot upon the ground and asked the man to separate it from the ground, but the great strong man could not do so even after great effort. Srila Madhvacarya passed from this material world at the age of eighty while writing a commentary on the Aitareya Upanisad. For further information about Madhvacarya, one should read Madhva-vijaya, by Narayanacarya.

Do not change my words (Gauridasa Pandit Dasa)

Gauridasa Pandita: Srila Prabhupada Memories

“Do Not Change My Words”

Srila Prabhupada used to like to sit in his garden in Vrindavan especially in the mornings. He liked to hear his books read to him daily. One time Yasodanandan Prabhu was reading Sri Isopanisad when Srila Prabhupada stopped him and asked him to re-read the last paragraph. After hearing it again Srila Prabhupada said, “Those are not my words! They are changing my words! Is my English not good enough?” Srila Prabhupada became very angry and continued, “This is the worst thing a disciple can do! Do not become like a leap frog and try to jump over the spiritual master thinking you know better than him. Tell them immediately [the editors] do not change my words!”

Srila Prabhupada was very upset about the changes in his books. I never saw him get so angry any other time.

Srila Prabhupada: "The nonsense, they are correcting my translations. Rascal. The rascal editors, they are doing havoc. So you bring this to Satsvarupa. They cannot change anything … So on the whole, these dangerous things are going on. How to check it? It is very serious situation. You write one letter that “Why you have made so many changes?” And whom to write? Who will care? All rascals are there. Write to Satsvarupa that “This is the position. They are doing anything and everything at their whim.” The next printing should be again to the original way." (Conversation, “Rascal Editors” – June 22, 1977, Vrndavana)

Years before Srila Prabhupada said the same thing. "Don’t make addition, alteration. Then you become rascal. Immediately you become rascal. And many times they give me very great credit that I have done wonderful. Yes, I have done wonderful. But what is the reason? Because I am not a rascal. I speak what Krsna has spoken. That’s all. Very easy. Everyone can do that. Not only I. Any of you, you can do this. Simply speak what is…, what Krsna has said. That’s all. Don’t make addition, alteration. Then you become rascal. Immediately you become rascal.(Srimad-Bhagavatam Lecture 1.5.29 Vrindavan, August 10, 1974)

Srila Prabhupada said if someone sees a mistake he is a mistake.

Radha Vallabha; Now Jagannātha had some questions on corrections in the book. In verse twenty-eight it says, "Then he worshiped Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the essence of all Vedas, with this hymn. It's verse twenty-eight, "Then he worshiped Śrī Kṛṣṇa." So Jagannātha said it should be, "Then he worshiped..."

Prabhupāda: No, no. Jagannātha cannot correct. That bad habit he must give up.

Rādhā-vallabha: So we should just leave it exactly.

Prabhupāda: Oh, yes. You should not be more educated.

Rādhā-vallabha: He wasn't changing any of the words. He was just...

Prabhupāda: Nothing of the... This of should be strictly forbidden.

Rādhā-vallabha: So no corrections. That makes it simple.

Prabhupāda: They can divide the synonyms. That's all.

Rādhā-vallabha: Synonyms. So even...

Prabhupāda: That is his tendency, to correct. That's very bad. He should not do that.

Rādhā-vallabha: So I'll just forget this, then.

Prabhupāda: The system is: whatever authority has done, even there is mistake, it should be accepted.

Rādhā-vallabha: Oh.

Prabhupāda: Asa-prāya(?) That is ha... He should not become more learned than the authority. That is very bad habit.

Rādhā-vallabha: He was always wondering how he should think. So I'll tell him that. He thinks, "If I think I see a mistake, what should I think?" I'll tell him what you just said.

Prabhupāda: He cannot see mistake. He is mistake. (laughter) He should... That is being done by this rascal.

Srila Prabhupada's Room Conversation -- March 1, 1977, Mayapura

When Srila Prabhupada was asked by Revatinandan Prabhu if we could read Srila Bhaktisidhanta Sarasvati’s books; Srila Prabhupada said not the ones that were edited by his disciples. Srila Prabhupada also told him that we really couldn’t understand Bhaktisidhanta’s books. He said not even his Godbrothers could understand them. Then Srila Prabhupada said, ” actually, he wrote those books for me.” (Memories of Srila Prabhupada)

Srila Prabhupada translated the spiritual law books for the next 10,000 years, day and night, until his dying day. He translated constantly despite his busy preaching schedule. He did this to live on in the books. He said before he left the planet that he had given us everything in his books. He said the books were the manifestations of his ecstasy. He said if we read his books and cooperated together, every thing would go on nicely. To edit his books without his sanction is risky business. We should try to be absorbed in the ecstasy of the spiritual master and not try to alter it, thinking we can ‘improve upon’ his ecstasy.

Some of the reasons given to justify the modern day editing are that the new edition is closer to what Srila Prabhupada said on the original tapes. Srila Prabhupada lectured on many verses many times and never said to change them. He authorized about three changes, not the 800+- we have in the new Bhagavad Gita. We need Bhagavad Gita As It Was! There is a nicer vibration to the original Srila Prabhupada approved version. I’m sure more devotees would be inspired to distribute the original.

When a new book came out Srila Prabhupada would be in total bliss. I remember when he was so sick he could hardly sit up. When he heard that the new Srimad Bhagavatam had arrived and he asked to be propped up on his bed. He asked for his glasses and more light. As he marveled over the quality of the book and the excellent artwork tears came to his eyes. This gave him life.

Another time when Srila Prabhupada asked a devotee to read in the garden the devotee asked him why he liked to hear his own books so much. Srila Prabhupada said, “I did not write these books. Krishna wrote these books!”

When Srila Prabhupada came into the room and caught me reading the Srimad Bhagavatam, he smiled nicer than ever and told his secretary, “He’s reading in his spare time; this is very good!” I was surprised to see how happy Srila Prabhupada was because I was reading. Srila Prabhupada put everything into his books and we would be better off to accept them as is/was. They made so many devotees in the past and will in the future. They are tried and true!

Another important publication is the ‘Back To Godhead’ magazine. Srila Prabhupada said the BTG and Hari Nama Sankirtan are ‘the backbone of our movement.’ We need a mass distribution BTG. So many of us became devotees by getting a BTG one way or another. It should be cost effective say 25 to 50 cents so we can distribute it for a dollar or so. The old BTG’s are great. We could update the calendar and presto, the all-attractive ‘Back To Godhead!’

Srila Prabhupada said the disease of the Americans is that we want to change everything. Let’s get rid of this disease and maintain what Srila Prabhupada has worked so hard to give us; without adulteration or change.

Hoping this meets you well and Happy in Krsna Consciousness,
Your servant,
Gauridasa Pandita Dasa

Chant and be Happy!
