Important warnings from Srila Prabhupada (thanks Dhamaghosha prabhu)

Hare Krsna to All
Pranams
All glories to Srila Prabhupada

Below we have gathered 25 very potent quotes from Srila Prabhupada which should act as WARNINGS to us all. When something goes wrong on your car and the red lights start flashing you know it is time to stop and carefully check things out. Similarly in the same way, Srila Prabhupada has given us all warning signs for the sincere and serious devotees to watch out for in our devotional lives. If you are one of them, then please forge forward. Damaghosa dasa

---------------------------
Prabhupada warned us in a 1973 letter to Dhruvananda:

1) "The greatest danger to our movement will come when we manufacture and create our own process for worshiping the deities. So don't ask any more new questions, whatever is going on, follow it just to the exact standard as I have given you, that's all."

2) 21 September, 1970 ,Calcutta
Letter to Isana and Vibhavati, "In my books I have tried to explain clearly this simultaneously one and different philosophy acinta beda beda tattva propounded by Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. But sometimes it happens that this philosophy is given a self-interested interpretation. As soon as personal motivation comes in it is not possible for one to understand our Krishna Consciousness philosophy."

Order of how to offer bhoga
April 1, 1970 Los Angeles Letter to Himavati
3) "Yes, it is nice that you are worshipping Lord Caitanya along with Radha Krsna. That is alright. Lord Caitanya should be placed to the right side of Krsna. There is nothing special for His worship, but you may continue as you are doing now. The order of worshipping is first Spiritual Master, and then Lord Caitanya, then Radha Krsna (as in the mantras or Bunde aham prayer). Your confidence to do whatever you are instructed by the Spiritual Master is very encouraging. Yes, this is the method of the Vedic injunction, staunch faith in Spiritual Master and Krsna makes one perfect in spiritual understanding."

16 June, 1969  New Vrindaban Letter to Arundhati
 4) "Regarding your question about offering Prasadam, whatever is offered to the Deity actually it goes through the Spiritual Master. The Spiritual Master offers to Lord Caitanya, and Lord Caitanya offers it to Krishna. Then Radha Krishna eats, or Jagannatha eats, then Caitanya Mahaprabhu eats, then the Spiritual Master eats, and it becomes Mahaprasadam. So when you offer something, you think like that and chant the Gayatri mantra, and then everything is complete. At last, ring the bell, take out the plate and wipe the place where the plate was kept."

Vrndavana, India August 1967 Letter to: Devotee & Hamsaduta
5) "One who understands and appreciates the disciplic succession is certainly advanced, and we should always be very careful to give full respect to those who have so carefully handled this Divine Fruit of transcendental knowledge before us. Even a slight change will spoil it. That is why I have always been so careful to give you only those things which I have heard from my Guru Maharaja

Avoid all Gaudiya Matha God brothers
7) "...Whatever is to be learned of the teachings of Srila Bhaktivinode Thakura can be learned from our [i.e., Srila Prabhupada's books]books. There is no need whatsoever for any outside instruction."
[SPLDecember 25th 1973]

8) "Therefore amongst my God brothers NO ONE IS QUALIFIED to become acharya. So it is better NOT TO MIX with my God brothers very intimately, because instead of inspiring our students they may sometimes POLLUTE them. This attempt was made by them previously, especially MADHAVA Maharaja and TIRTHA Maharaja and BON Maharaja, but somehow I saved the situation. This is going on. We shall be careful about them AND NOT MIX WITH THEM. This is my instruction to YOU ALL. They CANNOT HELP us in our movement, but they are very competent to HARM our natural progress. So we must be very careful about them." (SPL April 28, 1974)

9) On 9 November 1975, Srila Prabhupada ordered, "All my disciples should avoid all of my Godbrothers. They should not have any dealings with them nor even correspondence, nor should we give them any of my books, nor should we purchase any of their books, neither should you visit any of their temples. Please avoid them."

10) "The church that has the best chance of survival in this damned world is that of atheism under the convenient guise of theism. The churches have always proved the staunchest upholders of the grossest form of worldliness from which even the worst of non-ecclesiastical criminals are found to recoil. ..." (words from Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaj)

11) Prabhupada: Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, he said that "When our men will be sahajiya, oh, they'll be more dangerous." So our men are becoming, some of them, sahajiyas. This very word he said, that "When
our men will be sahajiyas he'll be more dangerous."
Hari-sauri: Without any proper realization, on the basis of being able to read Sanskrit, they delve into all kinds of books, and then they pick fault -- "Oh, this rule is not being followed. This is wrong. This is wrong."
Satsvarupa: "We don't chant sixty-four rounds, so that is very bad. We'll never make any progress."
Prabhupada: Sahajiya.

12) 740123SB.HAW Lectures
Prabhupada: Therefore you have got spiritual master. Why he is there? Therefore you have to accept spiritual master who will give you direction. You cannot do it. If you manufacture your own..., then go to hell. Yasya deve para bhaktir yatha deve tatha gurau, tasyaite kathita hy arthah. Krsna is there; guru is there. Why should you manufacture your own way? If you are sincere, Krsna will dictate from within. Tesam satata-yuktanam bhajatam priti-purvakam. Find out this verse. Tesam satata-yuktanam bhajatam priti-purvakam, buddhi-yogam dadami tam.
Pradyumna: 10.10
Prabhupada: Krsna is ready to give you instruction. The spiritual master is ready. Why should you do at your whims, and do something wrong and go to hell? Yes?

13) DANGER OF BUREAUCRACY
Srila Prabhupada: "Once there is bureaucracy the whole thing will be SPOILED. There must always be individual striving, work and responsibility, competitive spirit, not that one shall dominate and distribute benefits to others and they do nothing but beg from you and you provide. No."(SPL December 22, 1972)

DANGER OF IMPURITY
14) Srila Prabhupada: "As soon as there is a little impurity, the whole thing will deteriorate and go to HELL. We shall not like to take the credit in that case, therefore I am praying simply that all of you, my advanced disciples, GBC men, Temple officers, will become sober-minded." (SPL December 29,1972)

Danger of being whimsical
15) Srila Prabhupada: "I made the GBC to give me relief, but if you do like this, then where is the relief? It is ANXIETY for me. This is the difficulty, that as soon as one gets POWER he becomes whimsical and SPOILS everything. What can I do?" ( SPL September 12, 1974)

16) Unfortunately, when the acharya disappears, rogues and nondevotees take advantage and immediately begin to introduce unauthorized principles in the name of so-called svamis, yogis, philanthropists, welfare workers and so on. The acharya, the authorized representative of the Supreme Lord, establishes these principles, but when he disappears, things once again become disordered. The perfect disciples of the acharya try to relieve the situation by sincerely following the instructions of the spiritual master SB 4.28.48 Purport)

And what to do about non devotees and so-called swamis:
17) "There are many jealous people in the dress of Vaishnavas in this Krishna Consciousness movement, and they should be completely neglected. A false acarya may try to override a vaishnava by a high-court decision, (2/3 hand vote) but Bhaktivinoda Thakura says that he is nothing but a disciple of Kali-yuga.".

18) "Bhaktivinoda Thakura says, Kali-cela. He indicates that there are other Vaishnavas, pseudo-Vaishnavas, with tilaka on their nose and kunti beads around their neck. Such a pseudo-Vaishnava associates with money and women and is jealous of successful Vaishnavas. Although passing for a Vaishnava, his only business is earning money in the dress of a Vaishnava". (CC.Madhy.,Ch.1, Text 218 / 220, purport)

Misused money donations
19)  Acyutānanda:: If a man says, “I am giving you this donation because it is a spiritual organization,” but if the money is misused, does that man benefit. Srila Prabhupāda: If money is misused, then both of them become implicated. If it is not used for Kṛṣṇa, then both of them becomes under the laws of karma.

20) Srila Prabhupada:  That is the way of falsehood. If once you speak something false, then to protect that falsehood you have to take to so many other falsehoods. This is the way of falsehood. Srila Prabhupada    Conversations : 1975 Conversations : June, 1975 : Morning Walk -- June 2, 1975, Honolulu

21) By pride, either artificial or real, the resultant action of austerity is spoiled; by too much affection for female association, cleanliness is spoiled; by too much addiction to intoxication, mercy is spoiled; and by too much lying propaganda, truthfulness is spoiled. The revival of bhāgavata-dharma can save human civilization from falling prey to evils of all description

How to lose the param para link
Friday, October 6, 1967 Delhi, India Letter to Satsvarupa
22) "Kirtanananda may be eager to address in the Harvard university but recently he has lost his link on account of disobedience. You sing every day morning that by the mercy of the Spiritual master one can please the Lord and one who has not pleased the spiritual master cannot have any access in the realm of Krishna Consciousness. Very recently Kirtanananda has developed a different consciousness of Maya which is called misuse of one's minute independence offered by Krishna.

By misuse of one's independence one at once becomes a victim of Maya and thus he loses all importance in Krishna Consciousness. So it is my definite opinion that his lecture anywhere now will bear no spiritual sequence. He must rectify his mistake before he can play in our Society any important role. By lips he says that he is a surrendered soul but by action he is thinking differently."

Bogus gurus AND their followers go to Hell-
23) SB 1.19.37 P    The Appearance of Sukadeva Gosvami
Unless one is perfectly anxious to inquire about the way of perfection, there is no necessity of approaching a spiritual master. A spiritual master is not a kind of decoration for a householder. Generally a fashionable materialist engages a so-called spiritual master without any profit. The pseudo spiritual master flatters the so-called disciple, and thereby both the master and his ward go to hell without a doubt.

24) 72-12-14.Letter: Tusta Krsna
As for your next question, can only a few pure devotees deliver others, anyone, if he is a pure devotee he can deliver others, he can become spiritual master. But unless he on that platform he should not attempt it. Then both of them will to go to hell, like blind men leading the blind.

25) SB 6.7.14  Indra Offends His Spiritual Master, Brhaspati.
Leaders who have fallen into ignorance and who mislead people by directing them to the path of destruction [as described in the previous verse] are, in effect, boarding a stone boat, and so too are those who blindly follow them. A stone boat would be unable to float and would sink in the water with its passengers. Similarly, those who mislead people go to hell, and their followers go with them.

Krishna to all
Pranams
Glories to Srila Prabhupada
Today we observed the annakuta (hill of grains) mahotsava originally began by the inhabitants of Vrindavana around 5000 years ago after 7 yr old Krishna lifted the mountain known as Govardhana. This mountain at that time was around 64 miles longs, 32 miles wide and about 8 miles high.
Today, due to the curse of Pulasta Muni is has shrunk to about 50 feet in height. Originally in Goloka Vrindavana when Krishna asked Radharani to come to this material world, she said yes, only on the condition that the Yamuna and Govardhana hill would be present. He told her, its already “done”.

So when Sri Govardhan made His appearance He became the son of King Dronachal, another large mountain. When Sri Govardhana appeared as his son, the demigods showered flowers upon it. One day Pulasta muni showed up, and seeing the stunning beauty of this mountain asked king Dronachal for his son in charity to which the king, out of great attachment.

Immediately began to cry not wanting to part with Him. The muni got highly agitated and began to raise his hand to curse the king when Govardhana spoke up asking the muni how will you carry me? He said with my right hand I will carry you. Govardhana said Ok I will go with you but if you put me down, I will not move from that spot.

The muni agreed to these terms, and they both left. As evening approached the muni wanted to take his evening bath so he put Govardhana mountain down, in of all places, Braj mandala. When he returned from bathing, he tried lifting Govardhana again and found he could not budge Him at all.
After repeated attempts and failing he then cursed Govardhan Mtn to remain there and shrink the size of a mustard seed until He was gone. So today Govardhana Hill is only about 50 feet high and when He is actually “gone” then Kali yuga will commence in full force.

But until then, we still have some time to get our personal affairs of Krishna Consciousness together–but dont wait till then, as the saying goes–trust NO future- however bright it may appear to be !
Below are some photos of our “mountain” and the attending devotees.

New Prabhupada temple a huge success!

First we'd like to thank Madhu Pandit dasa, Chancalapati prabhu and many others from Bangalore ISKCON group, as well as many other USA devotees, for making this temple possible with their support. The temple facility is super excellent as are the top class Krishna Balarama deities, Gaura Nitai deities, and Srila Prabhupada's murti. Also, top notch altars and interior decorations that are simply amazing.

There were several hundred guests, I don't know maybe as many as 300. Very nice assembly of vaishnavas of all ages. Many young couples with kids and babies (nice to know Srila Prabhupada will be worshipped by future generations). Elderly ladies with walkers were coming up to greet their deity, kids were jumping up and down in the kirtan, ladies formed little dance circles and raised their arms all together in unison in ecstactic dancing, nicely dressed brahmana men were chanting the Vedic mantras for intstalling the deity (thanks to Yasodanandana prabhu for getting all the proper deity installation process together), various men and ladies were taking turns and coming forward to lead the kirtanas spontaneously without any need for a big introduction, there was a big book table of Srila Prabhupada's books, some devotees were later going to be initiated as Prabhupada devotees, hey it was like ISKCON in the 1970s!

I had nice talks with a number of people who were very enthused by the whole "Srila Prabhupada centered atmosphere." One elderly lady told me she goes to Berkeley ISKCON and the problem there is: They do not enourage people, this is why, after decades they have ony a few residents at the temple, and only a few guests on Sunday -- when we had more guests here at opening day. Another person came up to introduce me to their 9 year old daughter, they said -- see how all these kids are running around here? I cannot have my kid running around at the bogus ISKCON guru's temples because I am afraid of molesters, in fact I cannot let her out of my sight at these bogus ISKCON's temples. Wow, how bad is that? The GBC has created and atmosphere where people are afraid for their kids, and dissenters to their molester infrastructure have to be afraid of being kicked out and / or beaten up. The GBC keeps saying they cleaned it all up, by keeping all the leaders of the molester infrastructure as their leaders? So this is good, people know there has not been any real reform.

Anyway, the feast was super excellent. Everyone was smiling, laughing and chanting in ecstacy, all round, superb job guys! Chanchalapati prabhu gave an excellent talk on the need to chant the name of Krishna, and his presentation was exactly like the lectures we used to hear in the 1970s. So this was all being done on opening day! No doubt we will have much more to report as the temple progresses. I am going to post more photos on facebook and produce a link here so you can see more photos of the program.

Prabhupada's books for e-readers, tablets and Kindles etc.

Hare Krishna Puranjana dasa
We released Srila Prabhupada's books for the Amazon Kindle eBook reader a few months ago and devotees have been discovering the benefits of having all of Prabhupada's books, classes, conversations and letters stored on their eBook reader. It has been a great success and it opens up so many new opportunities to associate with Srila Prabhupada through his transcendental books.
But Kindle eBooks are not compatible with other eBook readers or the iPad or tablets...

There is another
eBook format called 'ePub' which is universally supported by eBook readers, iPad, iPhone as well as tablet computers, many phones and of course all computers.

For the last few months many devotees have been asking for Prabhupada's books in the ePub format and I am very happy to announce that we have finally been able to release them. It was a difficult job but it has come out very successfully. The ePub books include the Sanskrit diacritical marks and the correct diacritical characters will appear on every device.

The ePub format is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, B&N Nook and almost all other eBook readers. It also works on Windows, Mac and Linux computers.

Occupy ISKCON! by Mahapurusha dasa

[PADA: This man has made a good analysis of the very similar world situation and the ISKCON situation, in sum: -- The mass of rank and file devotees need to stand up and protest the bogus leaders of ISKCON, just like Occupy Wall Street is protesting that corruption. Bravo.

Srila Prabhupada: "So those who are GBC's, they should be very, very careful to administer the business of ISKCON. Otherwise they will be punished. As the post is very great, similarly, the punishment is also very great." ys pd]

#OccupyISKCON

BY: MAHAPURUSHA DAS

The results of unchecked financial growth as well as corporate and political corruption have plunged the world into economic catastrophe. Bankers literally played dice with the deeds of mortgages and the wealthy cashed in on a neo-conservative philosophical agenda that has been a half a century in the making. Protests have since spread all over the world, modeled after the occupation of a small park in New York City near Wall Street. These assemblies have given a new voice to the disenfranchised. Their main agenda is to rally against corporate greed, arrogance and power and the accusation that the richest 1% of the population holds inordinate power over the other 99%. All around the world, simultaneously, there is a surge in populist uprisings and the last remaining dictatorships are crumbling.

In ISKCON, there is a similar catastrophe of unchecked power. I have tried to detail some of these problems in my previous articles, "The Servant Leader" and "The Model Imperative". Just like the entitled leadership of western industrialized countries, the leadership of our devotional society has also had a long reign of absolute authority. The basic cornerstones of checks and balances of power, such as the ability to remove corrupt leaders, have no existence in our community.

[PADA: Right, had a dozen devotees stood outside EVEN ONE temple in 1979, with signs saying "These people have made deviants into gurus and we do not accept that," we could have severely hampered these false gurus. Of course the same protest could be made even today.]

There is no system of internal justice, especially for the average members. There is extreme economic disparity between the leaders and the average members. There has never been the formation of an ISKCON devotee constitution. There hasn't even been a clear presentation from the leadership of what our definition of ISKCON membership is. In other words, the leadership has created and maintained a complete dictatorship where the members have absolutely no rights and the leaders wield inordinate power.

When Srila Prabhupada was personally present, he was the checks and balances of power. He made sure that things were running according to the principles he established and would personally deal with all types of problems, such as philosophical and behavioral deviations. And, of course, he established the Direct Order of Management, which detailed very specific procedures to run our society. Unfortunately, this order was completely ignored and the leadership only gives vague and undocumented reasons for why it was never followed.

Since Srila Prabhupada's departure, we have seen a complete breakdown of our devotee society as a result. Srila Prabhupada repeatedly gave the wisdom that "good locks make people honest". He also told us to be completely pragmatic and judge any process by its result.

The actual history since his physical absence speaks for itself. Literally every crime has been committed by the leadership. Theft, physical and psychological torture, fraud, racketeering, embezzlement, murder, etc. It is important that devotees step back from the situation using creative sociology and try to see what it looks like from the outside! It is absolutely horrible and represents the exact opposite of what a devotional society should be. What to speak of the spiritual deviations that we aren't even directly accountable to general society for? It is a real inconvenient truth that no one wants to deal with. And calling a thief a thief is not an offence. Understanding our dysfunction and social pathologies is critical if we ever want to begin fixing them and setting up the structure to prevent them from happening again.

The core of this dysfunction is the culture of entitlement and elitism in ISKCON leadership. It goes against everything we believe as devotees of Lord Krishna. The leadership culture does not represent the general culture of servitorship. In other words, the leadership no longer represents the people. How could anyone have faith in a leadership that has acted so contrary to the principles we hold so dear? The reason this has gone on for so long and been allowed to mutate into the organism it presently is, is because it has had unbridled power with no accountability. The history of the modern world proves that absolute power brings out the worst in human beings.

Intelligent leaders instill checks and balances of powers on themselves and others, knowing that the darkside of human nature is too powerful. A wise person understands that laws and regulations are there to protect the individual and others, and the founders of all great civilizations have painstakingly sought to protect society from the wrath of unjust leaders. We must similarly have the humility and intelligence to instill checks and balances of power on ourselves. We have to be humble enough to admit that any temptation of power and lording it over others may drag us down to our lower animal nature. We have to understand that for the temporary plunder of power and wealth, countless others and future generations will pay the price. It's just not worth it.

It is time for the society of servants within ISKCON to take back our culture. The false masters who beckon your worship and adulation have no care for you. They will only damage our society further by demonstrating the very worst qualities of exploitation. In a society of servants, we are all equal in our servitorship. Srila Prabhupada wanted us to work together in harmony to propagate this mission, not to work in the service of a small percentage of leaders who clearly have a different agenda. We have to be living examples of that cooperation and equality, and not risk mirroring the entitled character of a leadership that has been mostly an unbridled display of arrogance and corruption.

Our society is supposed to be the ideal model of what it is to live in harmony with the Laws of Nature and God. It is the worst disservice to Srila Prabhupada to let the society he founded be led by people who are so totally juxtaposed to his values of servitorship and charity. God help us.

[PADA: God will help us, protest the bogus leaders and establish the correct system of managing that Srila Prabhupada wanted. ys pd]

Premature sannyasa a problem for ISKCON? ys pd

Jivatma dasa: Dear Maharajas, prabhus & Matajis,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

On Nov 6, 2011, Krishnakant, editor of Back to Prabhupada, posted a misleading & therefore offensive article called:

"Sannyasa ashram outlawed in ISKCON after 1977" at: http://www.prabhupadanugas.eu/?p=7225  The article, based on quotes from 07/01/1977 is offensive because it implies disobedience on the part of the venerable, sincere disciples of Prabhupada who have, and will continue to take sannyasa "at the last stage of life" as instructed by Prabhupada on 23/01/1977.

[PADA: The main point is: Srila Prabhupada warned that his leaders were not fit for sannyasa, that they were not capable of following the standards of sannyasa, and as such -- that they were making ISKCON appear foolish, so he suspended sannyasa. All this this begs the self-evident question: Which current "venerable and sincere" sannyasa disciples are being discussed here? Why are none of them named or even one of them named?

At the present moment in "official ISKCON," it appears that all of the current "sannyasas" endorse the many years of various GBC annual reports, letters, lectures and numerous "position papers" which say: Gurus and acharyas fall into illusion; Gurus fall into illicit sex, drugs, alcohol etc; Indeed some of their "gurus" are now eating meat and so on. Of course these GBC papers blatantly defy one of the ten offenses: that one is forbidden to consider the guru as an ordinary man who can fall down.

In fact in 1980 the GBC wrote a paper entitled "The Mahajanas Have Difficulties" (penned by Satvarupa swami, Jayadvaita swami and Jaggadisha dasa) which says that even the greatest acharyas and mahajanas fall into illusion. This is only one example of tons of the GBC "sannyasa guru's" subsequent documents which say -- gurus are aften debauchees, in fact there are hundreds more letters, statements and documents, for example later on Jayadvaita swami summed up that in ISKCON some gurus are found to be "engaged in illicit sex with men, women and possibly children as well."

Hence, the current "sannyasas" of ISKCON are all apparently endorsing all of these huge stacks of annual GBC letters, lectures, annual reports and position papers which state that acharyas are most of the time debauchees, since most of their acharyas has fallen down. Are you saying these sannyasas and their alleged GBC endorsed "guru tattva" statements are bona fide? That is the first question we need to have answered. Next, we can then examine if the sannyasas that were made after 1977 have been failing left, right and center, because the warnings given by Srila Prabhupada about premature sannyasa were followed or not? ys pd]

Vaishnava prayers?

PADA: Thanks for your question Miriam. This (below) is one site that has some of the vaishnava prayers on it. I am not sure who is managing it, but it seems pretty nice. I will post this on my blog and ask people if they know of other sites that have lists of prayers and so on. I know that ISKCON has made some prayer books with Gaura Keshava dasa, which is not up to the standards established by Srila Prabhupada. Thanks ys pd

All glories to the Prabhupadanugas, cleaning Gundica Mandir program!

Prabhupadanugas Cleansing temples in Jagganatha Puri Dham!

============================
Inspired by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu!

ei-mata puradvāra-āgepatha yata / sakala śodhila, tāhāke varṇibe kata / (Outside the gateway of the temple, all the roads were alsocleansed, and no one could tell exactly how this was done.) CC Madhya Lila, 12.135

In commenting on the cleansing of the Guṇḍicā temple,Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura says that Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, as the world leader, was personally giving instructions on how one should receiveLord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, within one's cleansed and pacified heart. If one wants to see Kṛṣṇa seated in his heart, he must firstcleanse the heart, as prescribed by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu in His Śikṣāṣṭaka: ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanam

Puri Town Cleaning Program is an initiative taken up by Hare Krishna Movement, Puri. This is a noble contribution from HKM Puri and Akshaya Patra Orissa Volunteers towards preserving the cleanliness, sanctity and also the environment of PuriDham. The volunteers started by cleaning all the important places which are dear to Gaudiya Vaishnavas in general andPrabhupad’s followers in particular. They started with cleaning Siddha Bakul Math, a very significant place, where Namacharya haridas Thakur stayed and chanted Holy Names of the Lord continuously. Then they went on to clean Gambhira, Lord Chaitanya’s residence in Puri. Even today, some of His transcendental paraphernalia are there for darshan by devout and faithful believers. The dedicated team of volunteers then went on to clean the beautiful Tota Gopinatha temple premises. They cleared up all the garbage, weeds, used materials littered around and took the waste to municipality designated dump grounds. The enthusiastic team members work sincerely and tirelessly, for this noble and progressive initiative for a cleaner and greener Puri Dham.

These cleaning activities are significant. It helps cleanse one’s consciousness! Kṛṣṇa Himself will help cleanse the heart because He is already seated there. Kṛṣṇa wants to continue living within the heart, and the Lord wants to give directions, but one has to keep his heart as clean as Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu kept the Guṇḍicā temple. By His practical example, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu has shown us that all the grains ofsand must be picked up thoroughly and thrown outside. Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu also cleansed the outside of the temple, fearing that the grains of sand would again come within. To give us practical instructions, Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu cleansed the temple twice. His second cleansing was more thorough. The idea was to throw away all the stumbling blocks on the path of devotional service. He cleansed the temple with firm conviction, as is evident from His using His own personal garments for cleaning

Thus the cleansing of the Guṇḍicā-mandira was conducted by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu to let us know how the heart should be cleansed andsoothed to receive Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa and enable Him to sit within the heart without disturbance.

Jai Jagannath, Baladev, Subhadra mai!! Jai Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu!! Jai Srila Prabhupad!!

Kirtanananda does not deserve titles of swami and guru

Mahasrngha dasa — I recently saw an article on Kirtananda Swami, aka, Keith Ham. In all honesty, he certainly wasn't a renunciate and should never have been called a "swami", let alone a spiritual master. In real life, he was a perverted homosexual pedophile who had some religious sentiment. If there were any kshatriyas left on the planet he would have been castrated years ago.

He disobeyed Srila Prabhupada on many occasions, lied to him, demanded a ‘certificate' when he took sannyasa, and was an embarrassment to His Divine Grace.

Keith personally set Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON back 50 years by introducing several bogus speculations that still confuse devotees to this day.

Years ago the GBC banned all honorific tittles like Bhakti, Acarya and other ‘pads' from being used in public. Yet still, brainwashed and sentimental devotees just can't seem to follow those instructions.

Srila Prabhupada's unlimited mercy may certainly forgive him for his ambition and Insanity, but offenses to and murdering devotees excelled Keith's actions into another horrific dimension of aparadhas which Lord Krsna may have another way of dealing with.

I certainly have no animosity towards his fallen and departed soul but I'm sure his warped mentality will be dealt with properly by the authorities that be, and his purification will continue in his next life.

Anuttama dasa quotes Anuttama Das?

PADA: Yep, Anuttama quotes -- Anuttama? Anyway, here we go. This period, around 1987 starting intensely in the media with Kirtanananda ex-swami, is where the bogus GBC gurus really started saying in the media: Acharyas are deviating, acharyas are criminals, acharyas are not following the principles, acharyas are being censured for having illicit sex etc. -- in other words, your local trash man is more advanced than the acharyas! And Anuttama, Jayadvaita, Hari Sauri, all these folks were behind this idea to paint the acharyas as debauchees. Gurusuh narah matih naraka sah, anyone who says acharyas are ordinary mundane falling down men, is a resident of hell (narakah). ys pd

Rocana's language barrier over HDG Srila Prabhupada's titles

ROCANA's deceitful lingo (by Mahasana dasa):

Note that Rocana dasa coins terms that put Srila Prabhupada in the past. An inactive, historical figure. Dead and gone. Impotent.
Terms like:
(1) “Sampradaya Acarya” (instead of Founder-Acarya, Srila Prabhupada’s authorized title)
(2) “during his manifest lila” (Prabhupada is unmanifest? So much for living in his books.)
(3) “during his ISKCON lila period” (whose ISKCON lila period is it now, and for the next thousands of years?)
(4) “they chose to instead leave Srila Prabhupada’s service even before his lila ended” (Adios Prabhupada, lila ended)
(5) “during Srila Prabhupada’s manifest lila” (all-right, we heard you the first time, already)
all strip Srila Prabhupada of power, nudging him off the vyasasana.
Especially sneaky is the popular term “Sampradaya Acarya” as applied to Srila Prabhupada. It sounds big and important, like “Super Acarya” but it is a sly minimization, placing Srila Prabhupada on the list of has-beens.
Rocana dasa is in a fever to kick Srila Prabhupada off the ISKCON vyasasana, so much so that he hates anyone that says Srila Prabhupada should stay on the vyasasana. If you don’t believe me, just say that Prabhupada is still the guru and watch him boil.
Don’t buy Rocana’s lingo. It is deceitful. Mahasana dasa

Prabhupadanugas distributing books! (Jaya!) ys pd

Hare Krishna to all Dear ones,
Please accept my humble obesiances with all glories to Srila Prabhupada. I just wanted to update you all with our little effort of Srila Prabhupada's book distribution at Diwali Festival, organized by HTCC, Bothell. I would like to first of all convey my heartiest thanks to our Bothell temple authorities, who has given us opportunity to set up our book stall at the event. Lord Krishna will certainly bless them all for this.
Many people asked us if we are representing any organization. Let me state this that we do not represent any profit or non organization - we simply do this to please our Spiritual Master and Lord Shri Krishna. If by the medium of these books, the Kirtan we do, or by any means, if we are able to infuse Krishna's pinch of love in the hearts of people then our mission to obey the orders of Srila Prabhupada is considered successful. These are all the 'Original books' unchanged version by Srila Prabhupada. We do not make any profits from our book distribution program. If anyone has money they can donate us, but if not then the books are still available to them to take.
Our sole purpose of "distributing books", is to fulfill the orders of our Spiritual Master Srila Prabhupada, who’s Spiritual Master once ordered Him "When you get some money - 'Print some books'".  We also wanted to make our lives worth by following on the orders and desires of our beloved Spiritual father Srila Prabhupada.
* Here is what Srila Prabhupada has to say about Krishna books"
==============
The Sankirtana devotees are very dear to Krishna. Because you are doing the field work of book distribution, Krishna has immediately recognized them as true servants. Just like during war time, a farm boy or ordinary clerk who goes to fight for his country on the front immediately becomes a national hero for his sincere effort. So Krishna immediately recognizes a preacher of Krishna Consciousness who takes all risk to deliver His message. [Letter By Srila Prabhupada to Uttamasloka, 11 December 1975]
==============
I would also like to thanks Shri Pranva Prabhu for his continuous effort in making this happen. We set up a large table with full of Srila Prabhupada books, continuous Vrindavan DVD and Darshan DVD playing, and Prasaad tray full of Simply wonderfuls (thank you Andy Prabhu for helping me making those Simply Wonderfuls so wonderful..). We also had a nice Rose and sandlewood incense burning for the entire time we were there..
I like to thank my daughter and son who tirelessly help us setup and load/unload the book and other materials boxes.
We were given an option to choose the spot thus we choose the most visible and most accessible spot. Lots of people came and we handed out many with Simply Wonderfuls (which they all relished). We also had a chance to tell a few people about Krishna's pastimes.
Rest these pictures will explain…
Once again thanks to all who helped and thanks to all who are reading this little transcendental pastime...
Radhe Radhe....
